I decided to remake my old childhood drawings, so here they are. They're also in different styles because yes.

1: Tri-Sea

I remember making this fella in Spore then drawing it because I liked it so much, but I don’t think they have anything to do with the sea. :P

2: Skellon

Fun fact! THIS WAS AN UNDERTALE OC!!! I know this because they have a skeleton-themed name.. BUT THEY HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH SKELETONS!! THEY HAD THAT NAME BECAUSE I LIKED THOSE TWO SKELETONS AAAAAAA- also I made it look like a coat of arms thingy, hope I got it right :)

3: ..I never gave it a name. It’ll be put under read more due to organs and dissection, so be warned.

When I was younger I was quite a fanatic when it came to making.. science diagrams?? of my creatures when I first learnt about it in science class. Man, I really loved science, still do now.

That’s all I have now, time to disappear again. (Also why did this take so long to make holy shit, THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO BE QUICK SKETCHES HOW DID THEY TURN OUT LIKE THIS?!)

though the robes may afford you all colors quite stunning, I truly think the wizards should be running. For skeletons armour is all that we need, the wizards wear hats that look made of weeds.

The wizards may be able to wear flags with pride, but never forget the skeleton inside.

Fire! Fire! at Museum of London

I saw this exhibition in London in February 2017 and was completely enthralled. I had been through the entirety of London history... starting with... The ROMANS... and was disappointed by how cluttered, overwhelming, and disconnected the entire museum was, until I came upon this relatively small temporary exhibition. 

This exhibition was designed by Skellon Studios, with whom I am so proud to be connected by association with Central Saint Martins MA in Narrative Environments. 

I love the saturation of color-based experience, paired with the brilliant use of cutouts, shadow puppetry, and theatrical flats. As you can see on the video I posted in my YouTube playlist, the exhibition is filled with the sound of a crackling fire and the constant motion of flames.  These sensory elements “cool off” in the “After the Fire” section which concludes the exhibition in soft tones of white ash.

You can definitely tell that it's nearing the end of school term. Both my children are totally shattered! This week we have had sports day, where I discovered that I am that mum, you know, the one who loves the parent's race! I can't really complain about my children's competitiveness because I know where they get it from! It was the school fayre on Saturday and now that I'm on the PTA, I was heavily involved. In fact, I didn't stop on Saturday from waking up at 6am to cook breakfast until 11.30pm when I finally fell into bed! We have also had school trips this week and the children are putting on their summer show tonight. I don't know why schools fit everything into the last couple of weeks of term! The video I have chosen this week comes from Claire Skellon who shares with us her skin routine. I was really impressed that she makes her own toner and facial oil. I wouldn't even know where to begin, but Claire explains how easy it is and what she uses to make it. I am so nosy, so I love a peek at other people's routines and what they use on their skin.
