one of the families in my neighborhood has one of those giant halloween skeletons and for christmas they've dressed him as an elf on the shelf and move him to different yards on the boulevard every day

in between the insanity of life and work I've still been writing when I can and the correlation between my stress levels and the need to write Rory just going through it says a lot really.

Was working on chapter 9 which is like the fun in Russia aside chapter before all the stuff with the Butcher goes down and we get insanely manipulative Price being the ultimate bastard to her and Gaz, only for my brain to go "no, make her suffer more" and so I started working on chapter 10 of EoS

look i know beastars might not be Poppin'(tm) right now, let alone the Beginning of it but the beginning/first episode (manga or anime man idc) where legosi gives els that love letter from tem and shes SOOO SCARED and then feels so silly because everyone knows legosi's a little weird but ultimately the most dependable carnivore or Guy In General any of them know is so so satisfying

the emotions are so tasty. it makes sense for there to be all of that tension- legosi himself mentions off the bat hes used to people being intimidated by him. hes huge! even for a wolf! hes a little weird! hes an apex predator species! he doesnt hold it against els at all.

and of course els was freaked out fjdjd her crush just got eaten that night/morning and heres this goddamn wolf watching and following her 😭 theyre all teenagers and you know how teenagers are!!! everythings life and death even without it LITERALLY being life and death!!!

also in the anime i really like how they animated legosi seeming so creepy gjsjf its so good. tasty. delicious wonderful amazing

trying to pick movies to watch at work on your phone is like the thinnest gossamer thread. can't be something too interesting/personal fav or you can't pay attention. can't be something you haven't seen or you're wasting a movie and david lynch will kill you with ghost powers. can't be too sleepy/cozy or you feel sick. can't be violent or sexual at any point or you get fired.
