Recommended use is to apply a proper amount on the face and body frequently, then gently pat in for better absorption. First things first, this does have an artificial fragrance so it's best to steer clear if you have issues with that. Otherwise, this product is a great option. It has a nice smooth texture and is very easy to massage into the skin (even my mom liked it and she doesn't like anything with snails in it lol). It works well on sunburns and dry patchy skin as well as really irritated, parched skin. Apart from the fragrance, there are no other irritants in this gel so it should be safe for a majority of people to use. I like that it came in a tube, easier for travel or taking it to the pool with you if needed. Definitely recommended for dry, irritated, and parched skin as well as skin with lots of redness.

What I like: this gel is really moisturizing and soothing and really does a good job of nourishing the skin. The ingredients are great and I liked the packaging a lot as it's more convenient than the big 300 ml tubs. What I don't like: the addition of artificial fragrance.

1. yes, if your scarring is relatively flat and mostly visible due to lingering spots of darker colouration. retinol is one of the ingredients with the most proven benefits, and its ability to promote intense skin cell turnover and regeneration while also disrupting pigment production, so it can be very helpful in fading hyperpigmentation, including that of acne scars. however, you need to start slow! don’t repeat my mistakes! i also went for TO 1% retinol as a total newbie and my skin was a peeling mess at first, it’s fine now but it could have been disaster for someone more sensitive. go for a gentler alternative like the TO granactive retinoid 2% at first until your skin builds tolerance!

deeper scars that are sunken into the skin (atrophic scarring) are a tougher case which cannot be solved through any OTC treatment. the options here include lasers, fillers, and professional chemical peels.

2. i have never tried the skin79 aloe aqua soothing gel personally — but i must admit that, having examined the ingredient list and that price point, now i really want to! besides the aloe gel itself, they include a lot of goodies such as niacinamide (brightening, and it is relatively early in the list, indicating a more-than-vestigial amount), soybean (also brightening), allantoin, yarrow and mallow (all soothing), among others, in a refreshing and hydrating gel formulation.

seems like a great budget option for a gel-type moisturizer for skin that needs healing (razor burn, dry patches, generally irritated skin). since it’s not too costly it could also be used for the body and, should you not heed my warnings about sunscreen and get burnt, to soothe and heal sunburns!

This product contains 20 grams (0.70 oz) and doesn't have much of a scent.

The mask itself is made of cotton and saturated with essence. It also has a great fit and I didn't need to adjust it too much. It's not super thin or super thick.

Recommended use is after cleansing, use toner. Open the pouch, apply the mask sheet to match the shape of your face. Leave it for 10-20 minutes and then remove and gently tap the remaining essence into the skin. It's designed for all skin types. After using, I found this to be a very pleasant mask. It doesn't have much of a scent at all and the mask was pretty comfortable and saturated in essence. There are some great ingredients in here and I didn't notice any irritation, though I do seem to have issues with things getting too close to my under eyes. After taking it off my skin felt very smooth and hydrated. My skin felt more plump and smooth and it's really ideal for any skin type. I'd recommend this to people with aging skin as well as to people with dry and dehydrated skin and even to people with sensitive skin.

What I like: this mask is very soothing and non-irritating. It is hydrating and has some great ingredients. It's really nice for all skin types as it doesn't overdo the moisturization and it's pretty gentle so it's good for even sensitive skin. It also does a good job of plumping and leaving skin smoother. What I don't like: nothing really, it's a good mask.
