A versatile substance and something I always have in my skincare stash, this is the current lineup @lizearlebeautyco Superskin Concentrate is a long term favourite, I wouldn’t even know how many bottles I’ve been through over the years, it’s absolutely beautiful. @janescrivnerskincare UnCondition Oil which is Argan oil infused with frankincense, it smells so lovely. @greenkeratin Precious Cacay Intense Oil* is a blend of Cacay Oil, Açai Fruit Oil, Green Coffee Oil, Marula and Camellia Oil. This is my second bottle! @elemis Superfood Facial Oil is one I’ve been using a lot lately and one I would definitely repurchase. Elemis oils are very lightweight even I can use this during the day. @beautypie Plantastic Overnight Miracle Face Oil is one I’ve not tried before, there’s much of Beauty Pie I really like so hoping this will be another. @espaskincare Optimal Skin Proserum, I’ve used a few sample sizes of this and it’s gorgeous. Pricy but it is lovely. @beautykitchen Abysinnian Oil Hydra Intense Facial Oil, another I’ve been through many bottles of. The most affordable of this collection, I love it Last up is @caudalie Vin Activ Overnight Detox Oil, this is new to me as well. Decided to try some more @deciem products as they seem to be such great quality and ingredients for the price. I decided to pick up some skin care and 2 foundations from @beautylish. 🐨 I picked up the high-spreadability fluid primer, the granactive retinoid 5% in squalane, the serum foundation (1.0NS), and the coverage foundation (1.0NS). 🐨 The best part is I got all for items for $35.40 and with free shipping. ✨The Exfoliation Family ✨ I only started using proper exfoliants in the last 10 years , previously my face was at the mercy of various overpriced versions of St Ives apricot scrub . These are the current ones I have on rotation. I’ve not included acid masks. ✨@joshrosebrook Active Enzyme Exfoliator. The reason I’ve changed my mind about physical exfoliants. The physical side is walnut seed powder so no chance of micro abrasions whilst papaya is the enzyme. Can be mixed with a cleanser for a quick fix or I like to leave on as a mask . Skin feels soft and looks brighter after use. ✨@maylindstromskin The Clean Dirt . This really gets the face going !!! I like applying as a mini mask for a quick hit of radiance . ✨@dclskincare Penta Peel. I have only used twice and it’s the strongest acid I’ve tried although it may be that I’m not used to this combination of acids 🤔I will start using more regularly once I’ve finished the next product. ✨@biologiquerecherche P50w. This is wonderful for me, I feel like it does exactly what I want without redness afterwards. I don’t feel the need to try the stronger version at this point. My skin feels and looks good after use. Melatonin has always known as a sleeping aid but I had no clue that it could calm the skin and also make it glow. . . I have used the sheet mask, Face cream and the eye cream. . . I am always a fan of a proper sheet mask and this is not surprising that my skin loved the soft supple look the mask gave me. I would love to get a ton of them in my next Korean skincare shopping.. . . The time return Melatonin Cream has over 50,000 ppm of melatonin that helped the skin calm down and added brightness and natural beauty to the dull and tired skin due to fatigue and stress in the busy modern life. . . I especially need to mention the max clinic time return Melatonin Eye Cream. It delivers a surge of deep hydration and extra energy to the eye area as a treatment that will fight fine wrinkles making your skin seem to have taken a good nights sleep. I have not been sleeping well and my eyes kind of look tired sometimes but this eyecream helped me not have the puffy eyes. . . Reposting lovely aesthetician @dat_seoul_glow 💛 -- -- 🍾🥂🍾 In the spirit of booze infused skincare, gratuitous 🍻, I'm sharing a video of me using these fascinating 🍷 Bio Peel gauze pads from @neogen_us 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾 ❣️ I was going through my skincarestash the other day and came across these...I haven't used them in awhile 😅 They're going to spoil soon (they expire 6 months after opening 😣😧) so I better start using them up ASAP 😂 ❣️ So here's the deets... These pads are a super gentle form of chemical (and physical!) exfoliation. There are 30 two-sided pads (one textured, one quilted) absolutely soaked in a 🍷 scented solution which contains wine extract, a slew of berry extracts, and 3 Alpha Hydroxy Acids: Tartaric Acid, Glycolic Acid, and Lactic Acid. ❣️ If you're wondering why the fuck anyone would waste perfectly good wine for skincare (*winenot?? 😆), it contains a powerful antioxidant called Resveratrol, which helps prevent free radicals from entering the body, slows down the skin's aging process, and can also prevent hyperpigmentation. Interestingly, they didn't list Resveratrol as a separate ingredient *whatashame 😕 ❣️ So we get to the 🐘 in the room: how well did this shit work?? That depends on what you're expecting. If you're looking for light chemical exfoliation and/or a safer alternative to damaging scrubs and brushes, this is a great option. If you're looking for an actual "peel"... It's not happening. But it does make my skin soft and smooth 😍 I initially used it for about a month, and saw no other tangible results (besides some brightening... But it's an exfoliator so that's expected 🤔) so it did what it said it would...For the most part *noteanoshade 😎 ❣️ Side note: I've noticed a lot of Korean exfoliators are labeled as peeling products, despite the fact that most (read: all 🙄) of them are too gentle to do so. Recently @influenster and @ernolaszlonyc teamed up to send me this White Marble Dual Phase Vitamin C Peel free in exchange for my honest opinion. I tried it out tonight and it's AMAZING!!! This 2 step peel takes 5 minutes, that's all! As a busy mom of 2, that is often all the spare time I have so I was thrilled to see how quickly it works. Even though it is fast, it works incredibly! My skin is unbelievably smooth and my skincare products were able to soak right in. I cannot wait to see how my makeup applies in the morning!
