So, I bought a new Amorepacific Vintage Single Extract Essence to replace the PR sample I emptied, but I want to finish up this Su:m37 Secret Essence before opening the AP. _____ I can’t recall exactly why I stopped using the Su:m37, but so far it’s ok. It’s got a nice scent and is slightly thicker than the AP, and has a lot more ingredients. IIRC, it has around 80 plant extracts. Going green!✅ • • • So all these products are good in my book and do EXACTLY what the should but please know, my skin is fairly resilient and not sensitive by any stretch: @indie_lee squalane facial oil ($34 USD) is lightweight, hydrates and soothes. It feels like my skin is absorbing it well and I wake up glowing @caudalieus instant detox mask ($39 USD - this was a travel/deluxe sized point perk at Sephora) this mask made my skin feel fairly balanced without being drying. Some estheticians don’t love clay masks but this worked pretty well for me. @farmacybeauty green clean makeup removing cleansing balm ($39 USD 3.4 oz shown) I love this cleaning balm. It dissolves my makeup well and has a light pleasing scent. It also rinses away pretty clean too. @loccitaneusa almond smoothing & beautifying supple skin oil ($50 USD - travel size/deluxe sample shown) y’all...y’all.....this is IT. My favorite, most decadent and EFFECTIVE body oil. It smells incredible and locks in all the moisture without being too heavy. I am a goddess & you can’t tell me nothing!!!! @innisfreeusa intensive hydrating serum ($27 USD sample size shown) this is still new to me because even though I’ve had it a while, I’m just starting to use it. So far it does add nice hydration to my skin. @elemis superfood facial wash ($25 USD) I like this product because it just works! It cleans without being too stripping (for me) you only need a little bit because it goes a long way and makes my skin feel soft. I don’t use her to take off makeup though, she’s not really meant for that! Have you ever tried any of these? You know I love a good exfoliant, whether in the form of a toner or peel pad, and I’m forever on the hunt for the latest and greatest. Having recently had a VI Peel (a gentle yet powerful medical-grade chemical peel) I’ve had to ease back into my favorite part of my routine and these Gentle Daily Peel Pads* from @indie_lee have been just the ticket! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ These convenient little pads contain Natural Beta Hydroxy Acid (BHA) from Wintergreen, Australian Caviar Lime derived Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs), and Vitamin C to gently exfoliate dead skin cells, dissolve excess sebum and improve skin clarity. To ensure skin is left calm, hydrated and conditioned they’ve also incorporated Jasmine, Sophora Japonica Flower and Burdock Root extracts. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ You apply them to clean skin 2-3 times a week and proceed with the serum and moisturizer of your choice. No need to rinse or remove which does make them very convenient in my opinion! The Gentle Daily Peel Pads are great for all skin types and gentle enough for even sensitive skin. While my skin is about 30 days out from my VI Peel treatment, and can typically be a bit reactive, these never leave my skin looking or feeling irritated in the least. What I do notice is that my skin is noticeably brighter the day after using them and it even seems to help reduce the appearance of pores and texture (my nemesis). My only criticism to these is that the pads themselves are on the smaller side and are lightly saturated so if you have a larger face (like myself) or want to bring the treatment down to your neck and decollate then you may find yourself using 2 pads, which at $65 for 60 pads, could become pricey. I miss all the intimate shit. I miss him touching my body in hunger for me. I loved feeling it grow from behind me. I loved his hands running across my ass and hips and tummy to reach my breast as he kissed my back softly.
