Ice Roller for Facial Massage and Skin Cooling

An ice roller for the face is a handheld beauty tool that is designed to provide a cooling and soothing effect on the skin. Our skin care products are labeled for different skin types such as normal, combination, oily and dry. But how do you know what to select? What is my skin type? Am I dry? Am I oily? Am I both? Especially right now with the season changes From potentially using oil free products in the summer, you may have to now switch to something slightly richer that does contain non-comedogenic oils to help with moisture. . How can I tell my skin type? First, go see an actual licensed Aesthetician for a skin analysis and don’t take advice from influencers online. Half of them aren’t licensed and what works for one person does not work for all, remember that. Secondly, wash your face with a facial cleanser meant for normal skin. Dry your skin off and then do nothing to your face for at least 1/2 an hour. Go to the mirror and assess your skin. Does your skin feel tight and dry? Does it feel fine? Is it rough or smooth? If your skin is flaky and tight, you most likely have dry skin. Now, dry skin is quite tricky because there are so many factors that can contribute to this. This can be considered a skin type meaning you’re born with this skin type or it can be considered a condition, meaning factors that you have taken have caused this to happen such as misuse of products, environmental changes and so on. If your skin is shiny, you most likely have oily skin. Oily skin is extremely common and a lot of us misdiagnose our skin. Sometimes we think we’re oily and actually overdry our skin with “drying” cleansers and toners which actually causes our skin to overcompensate and produce more oil solely due to the fact that we’ve now stripped our skin and it’s overproducing. Still with me? If you notice that your skin is flaky and oily in some areas such as t-zone oiliness and dry cheeks, this is usually a sign of combination skin. .
