Inspired by the waxworms that have been found to eat plastic! Sure, it'll take awhile, but, yknow, I think there is something to be done with the fact that machinery will eventually rot and decay just like us, and therefore (along other things) maybe we are closer to machines than we think?

DJMM with skin is cursed blablabla but I'm kinda proud of what I did with this? I got to do some interesting additions with making DJMM flesh and blood, like the finger pads. Originally he was going to be, yknow, rotting, and covered in grossness and decaying, but I thought the fact he was covered in skin was weird enough. But THAT wasn't the purpose of the little cartoony waxworms!

The waxworms were a last minute addition since it's actually censorship - one aspect of him was the fact his speakers were turned into a line of vocal cords... and uh... were paired with their own pairs of psedo"lips".... uhh, tumblr will already put a mature setting on pointilism art and random pics of trans people, I'm not taking any chances 😅

This design is not entirely finalized since I sorta just drew it up on the spot, but this is sorta how I’ve imagined DJ?? If he was human??

I wanted to make him very soft and inviting, the way I like to imagine DJ to be, he’s ofc very tall, and I like to imagine that he has a bit of that clown look since I think a lot of people agree that the music men as a whole are somewhat clownlike 😁

I think that a lot of human designs I’ve seen really miss out on giving the man the chub he deserves 🥺

Sun: I have only met Mapbot in the Daycare. They can tell I don't have a map for the Pizzaplex at all, but whenever they give me a map, it's of the Daycare area and nowhere else. They are definitely nice and... helpful, but uh... they don't really give out the maps NEEDED, only the maps of where you are.

Moon: "They are super annoying. I have a map for the WHOLE Pizzaplex, and even know places that are not mapped at all, and yet they still try to give me a map every time we meet! Ugh! They are just so annoying, and persistent, and cheery, and get in your face with no sense of leaving until you either distract them or do what they want! >:("

Freddy: They mean well but... I am positive they are not calibrated correctly. I have a collection of maps that I have to keep returning to the map kiosk where Mapbot gets their maps. I don't want them to run out of maps just because they are being helpful. I think I should talk to management about them....

Roxy: I use to rip those stupid maps up right in front of them, just to try and piss them off, but all they did was stay in my way until I took a map and DIDN'T rip it right away. I was late for my hair appointment because of them!

Monty: Not enough good! I don't know WHAT they built that thing from, but I tried to just shove them out of the way once and they just grabbed my arm and held me there! I couldn't get out of their grip! I just took the map and they let me go. It was freaky...

Roxy: Oh yea! You should see it rip open some of the reinforced doors! I'm surprised something that skinny has the mechanics strong enough to do that!

DJMM: Oh... them... yes... They don't seem to bothered by the fact that I cannot use a map at all. I just take it so they don't get upset, but I think Sun and Moon might need to talk to them about accessibility. If the maps were in braille like those 3d printed maps Moon told me he saw online, then that would be different! But these are just regular thin paper maps. Well, I guess it's in their programming so I can't fault them. Other than their map obsession, they seem nice.

Most of what I made today was stuff for Drohnen so I'm putting Skinny DJMM first

This won't be canon, but I gave him eyelids to see how he'd look with them. Skinny DJMM doesn't have eyelids and is constantly as wide-eyed as actual DJMM, but he is far more chill than what his permanent expression would have you believe.

Comids across multiple environments! They don't exactly have set subspecies like immobiles and they're extremely diverse on account of the shapeshifting but it'd be dumb not to try to catalogue them.

Comids nor Immobiles can naturally grow hair, but nothing about comids are natural - so, the polar ones have an impressive shaggy coat, and also tend to sport hunting implements, as polar comids and immobiles are obligate carnivores, and feast mainly on their "whales."

I already retconned something about the babies 😭 They do have fewer teeth as infants but they're also stubby and less straight.

They are not! They're dumb little infants.

Though, those tags made me think of how it would be if someone DID try to adopt and raise a Drohnen resident from birth.

They'd be SUPER stunted in growth not just because of Earth's gravity but also because of, essentially, Drohnen Scurvy. They're already hard to feed with how much they eat and the amount of hard metals they need, but there's also the problems of which hard metals, one of the most vital being iridium.

Drohnen had a mass extinction event where almost a third of their planet literally got obliterated right off, and the entire planet was showered with the iridium debris much like how there was an iridium layer over the Earth after the Cretaceous-Paleogene extinction event. Their ancestors made life that soaked that right up, to the flora and the fauna.

However, iridium isn't as present in Earth plant life as it is on Drohnen (the only thing i found that had it was ginger? with 0.00006 mg per 100 g??? tf is going on with ginger) (also some pet food apparently) and with it being a part of their bone and outer shells, it's... bad to be without it.

What's cruel is that he actually does desire a sweater on account of struggling with thermoregulation but he can't get one on account of his size, his shape, his everything.

But when he finally was gifted a sweater... his now very-sensitive skin couldn't handle the texture. It's almost painful to wear. He is grateful but he almost never wears it.

Head tilts competition!

The DCA lost his ability to tilt his head that far, mainly because, well, he doesn't need it other than the purposes of being a little freak (positive). DJMM actually does need to, on account of the fact he can't move his pupils.

they actually don't like eachother very much. The DCA is still visibly cartoonish/ similar to his original self as a human and instead of finding solidarity in DJMM, he finds DJMM to be the embodiment of his insecurity. He fears he'll end up like DJMM (homeless and shunned) on account of his appearance, and distances himself/outright lashes out at him frequently. DJMM knows this and because he knows that the DCA sees him as the object of his insecurity, instead of also trying to seek solidarity with him, DJMM actively taunts the DCA about it.

Though, before the humanization, they had a friendly rivalry where DJMM didn't care about protocol/would laze about and the DCA would have to get on his ass all the time. "Oh No My Headphones. The Music. So Loud I Simply Cannot Hear You" "THOSE ARE FAKE HEADPHONES. THE MUSIC IS AT A MEDIUM VOLUME. YOU CAN AND YOU WILL LISTEN TO ME YOU BOOB"

Yeah, that could work. Also, the main reason he doesn't wear gloves isn't because they actually inhibit his ability to climb walls, on account of the fact he has fingerpads. But, they still get cold!

he really does need some skincare but he probably can't get it at a reasonable price on account of the fact he is the size of a small house

He's less mad about the fact he's ugly now, he's more mad about all this dumb shit he needs to stay alive and well now. It used to be that he plugged himself in when he needed energy and go to a mechanic if his arm got ripped off or something. Now he has to eat things, eat the right things, wear things, things that have to be a certain texture lest he goes apeshit and rips the skin off his body to get the feeling of it off, keep his eyeballs moist. He hates it, especially because now he's also homeless

Despite his appearance, DJMM can't bring himself to completely hate this new form - it makes him an amazing singer. It's dumb, but this ability hits for a music man 🤷‍♂️

ok so.

The Security Breach cast is turned human. Not sure how, not sure why, They were not born humans but were robots, now turned human. Whatever force that made the rest of the security breach cast (mostly) (by mostly i mean they still have ears and tails and such) human worked on DJMM for awhile, but he is noticably super tiny and doesn't look like himself at all. Even stranger is that he is consumed by this ravenous hunger that, while he satiates this appetite he growsnew arms and gets huge - He has no idea what's going on. The rest of the cast have some animalistic urges but they're generally related to the animal that they are (and in Chica's case, Chica is Chica) but he's having hungry hungry caterpillar bullshit largely unrelated to spiders and as they distance themselves to the plex and get used to human life, DJMM's quickly growing form is now difficult for the rest of them to accommodate. Eventually DJMM grows extremely tired, so he goes to his room for a nap but instead goes into turpor and metamorphizes in his room for 2 months

When he finally wakes up, well???

It's kind of implied that whatever force made them human, due to DJMM's ambiguously "half human, half not human" status, drastically underestimated how human to make DJMM and that's why he eventually ends up like that.

He does not lose sentience, but when he emerges as this horrible naked man that looks an awful lot like how he used to look (but worse), people (particularly, some of the Security Breach cast) begin to treat him as if he had lost his sentience. And... he starts to act like that, too. He stops talking and when he flees, he doesn't bother trying to prove to others that he is, in fact, not some animal.

This got combined with this Skinny DJMM ? Where instead of a post psyching people out it'd be a body horror thing of him cracking out of the smaller human djmm design like a cicada? Which, i had mentioned this in tags, but i hadnt mentioned that that concept came to me because of this absolute fucking banger piece of Scarab (fionna and cake) fanart (thank you @lyman-garfiel for showing it to me oh my god)

then i just said that that implied twink djmm was skinny DJMM's larval form? And then with Skinny DJMM's character already being conceptualized (mostly in my head) this all amalgamated into.... five nights at gregor samsa's

Skinny DJMM!

I finally got to draw the eyeball licking and his Jaw. It's not as impressive as like, Comet's but still... humans don't open their mouths that wide I think. Him opening his mouth is one of the other few facials expressions he has and it is exclusively used as a threat. He will crack his jaw open and start screaming at you if he percieves you as a threat. It works! And thank goodness for that. He's a completely nude guy with a bunch of vulnerable, exposed tracheas and very thin, sensitive skin - he needs the protection. Sure he's huge and can just crush you but if you literally just have a knife or some sharp object you both are now on equal playing grounds

i love being free to draw icky yucky guys!!! could not fathom doing something like this a year ago (not a new years joke, a year ago i just would have been made fun of). He fascinates me. I don't have any real lore (what is he? why is he?) yet but he is becoming more and more of a character in my head.

ok. it is like improbable Skinny DJMM is completely mute. Skinny DJMM just refuses to talk a good 80% of the time is the thing. like yes the most he says other than beautifully intricate vocalizations and whistles is usually human grunts/groans/screams but if you press him hard enough on something he will answer in perfect english

he simply believes that most answers to a lot of things can be answered without words. Or they can be answered with nothing. He likes answering with nothing

Also, GMH! DCA has a whole lot of bodily oddities just like DJ! He's actually albino with the moon side of his face being peppered with chromatophores that expand in the shade. His arms and legs are also really weird - he has multiple joints in them and all of his limbs move like an adventure time character. it's awful and he likes freaking people out by pretending he broke his arm.

They have such different relationships across multiple universes bc it depends on how they operate in terms of the Plex but. If they're human, they're not in the plex, they're just guys

Bonus: Drohnen comid and a drohnen bug (based off a strange seed i keep seeing)

On drohnen, the nudity threshold is practically nonexistant since clothes are expensive (they serve a decorative purpose), and with their tough bodies and plentiful fat, their bodies protect them from the elements well enough. The usual rule for nudity is simply "don't have your dick out most of the time"

Bonus Hemonymphs

Since they have a eusocial setup already, with Dr Hemlock functioning like a queen and the rest of the hemonymphs being his workers, why not let them have soldiers, too?

Esteemed hemonymphs are turned into or are born as soldiers, with a new neck seam that makes it harder for Dr. Hemlock to decapitate them on the spot like other hemonymphs. Their neck actually stores remnant and other life forces and the seam is actually for the purpose of being able to be accessed by another party.

their design was actually inspired by this crazy fursuit head and the pouter pigeon's absolutely ridiculous crop.
