Its weird living with a blaze hybrid like Tango because how a blaze lives is different then a overworld mob, and Skizz found out.
Everytime Skizz goes into Tango's room it feels like fire on his skin because there is like 5 heaters in Tango's room so Tango wont be cold, and when Tango makes food and Skizz steals a bite it is like lava in his mouth because Tango can't eat regular food he has to eat very spicy or extremely hot food.
Sometimes Tango radiates heat off his body which Skizz can't stand, because it makes it harder to cuddle so Skizz no longer cuddles Tango in Tango's room only in Skizz's room now which Tango cannot stand because it gets cold so Tango sneaks out when Skizz falls asleep, and goes back to his own room.
It's frustrating for both of them, but they make it work. Though Tango still can't stay the night, a heated blanket means he can at least take naps with Skizz by his side! Tango often takes on the cooking so he can give Skizz's portions time to cool, but when Skizz cooks he's always happy to help.
They're both a little weird. That's alright. Learning to live with each other has made their relationship stronger!

There are two things to not do in an all out war between kingdoms. The first is play all sides. Tango has been there, done that, and he finally chose the Crastle Kingdom. The second is fall in love with one of the enemy knights. But gosh, is Skizz something.
In theory, it should be easy to not fall in love with the enemy, right? They're trying to kill you! Which is what Tango has to remind himself every time he checks to see how Skizz is faring in a battle. He reminds himself it's only a matter of time before Skizz dies, he's probably the most rash man on the planet, and yet Tango loves him for it anyway.
Whatever, as long as it doesn't get in the way of anything.
Tango cannot believe all the things you can notice about an enemy. Like the way Skizz always has well cared for armour, the honour he conducts himself with, his eyes-
It just needs to not get in the way. That's all. Maybe Tango should steal some of the horse's blinders so it forces him not to look at Skizz. Maybe that's the solution.
Or he could convince himself that the war will be over and they'll all still be alive at the end of it...
No. That's not helping him either, is it?
He'll just go ask Bdubs to hit him over the head with a hammer. Now that? That will definitely solve this crush.

Tango still doesn't know why he got marked a villain, he burnt down one building. On accident! While fighting a supervillain! He refers to himself as the vigilante, Blaze, but the world refers to him as the villain, Blaze. (At least they got the name right.)
It's dangerous to be marked as a villain, as the heroes are legally allowed to kill you. It is preferred if it's only an arrest, but still. Tango knew this of course, but he still strived to try and get back his status as a vigilante.
He was out on patrol one night when a group of heroes consisting of Angel, Hotguy, and Cuteguy showed up. Fire powers are useful, but not for retreating in the dead of night. Hotguy scored a pretty good shot on him, and he needed to get out of there. Somehow he found his way to a small alley, where he removed the arrow from his shoulder, wondering if he could wait it out. And the Angel walked straight into the alley.
The superhero Angel was famous for his superpowers of healing and flight, as well as his temperament. Sometimes he was ruthless, and sometimes he was kind. Tango knew that he wouldn't show his kind side to a supervillain, of all things, so he just waited for Angel to kill him, or turn him in, or whatever. But he didn't. Instead, Angel asked him if he would be alright with his shoulder being healed. (Of course Tango said yes. Why would he refuse treatment? He tried to ignore how nice the superhero seemed when he wasn't on offensive.)
There's a new guy at his normal workplace, named Skizz. He reminds Tango a lot of Angel, but it can't be anything, can it?
-Robin
In that alleyway, it seemed as if Angel wanted to ask him something else before thinking better of it. Angel finally just tells him to scamper home, and don't let him see Blaze out again tonight.
Tango is sure it's supposed to be intimidating, but Angel sounds like a dad. He can't resist a cheeky, "Yes sir!" and salute (with his now mostly healed shoulder!)
He's not sure if he wants to avoid Angel more because of that encounter or not. Would his kindness last a second round?
Ugh... And Skizz being cute at work isn't helping matters. Tango keeps trying to ask the guy out for drinks, but he's always busy! What's a guy to do?

Otherworldly beings (e.g. netherborn species, enderian species, watchers, whatever the hell Keralis is) do not just get drunk. It's gonna take more than your weak-ass wine to do that.
Skizz is completely unaware of this. Y'know, placebo and shit. Tango is. He knows how much alcohol it takes to get him drunk, and that it would kill most other people.
Tango loves watching Skizz give him the most shocked look when he opens an EIGHTH bottle and still seems sober, not realising he can do the same. He would also love to tell him, but Skizz is cute when he thinks he's drunk. And more likely to kiss him. Wait, what? Who said that? Definitely not Tango!
That's not even getting into how potent their alcohol can be - lengthened lifespans do that. Tango knows it's placebo that affects Skizz when the guy once took a swig from Keralis's stash and didn't immediately pass out.
Isn't it Tango's luck, though, that Skizz being 'drunk' makes him want to kiss Tango, too? Though Tango tells him not to make rash decisions and wait until he's sober and ask then, hoping that Skizz will forget by then...
Turns out Tango forgot Skizz isn't actually drunk this time, and remembered to ask for a kiss with perfect clarity the next day.

(Theme related) tw: passing out
Tango is a blze hybrid and can do fire magic but it drains his energy.
Skizz was flying around because Skizz is a angel hybrid and saw Tango doing his magic and Skizz sat in a tree just watching without him knowing.
Tango has been doing magic for 2 hours now and Skizz was getting concerned because Tango can pass out if he does it longer Skizz kept A eye on him just in case.
Skizz saw that Tango looked tired and was shutting his eyes about to fall over and Skizz flew down and got Tango before he fell and took him back to Skizz's base so he could sleep and Skizz layed him on the bed and Skizz layed next to him and fell asleep aswell.
When Tango woke up he felt fluffyness around him and turned around to see Skizz's wings wrapped around Tango while he was asleep and Tango was a bit cramped but didn't want Skizz to wake up so Tango just layed there and waited.
He may have ended up asleep again. It's cramped but cosy, okay! And very warm in all those feathers...
Was a good job he got that extra sleep, because Skizz gave him a talking to when he woke up.

Skizz is in some tiny part fae. He discovered at a very young age that if he's not careful, Skizz can accidentally take names. It's why Lizzie goes by Lizzie, and not... Oh, what was it? It probably doesn't matter.
Ever since he accidentally took his little sister's name, he's been so careful not to do it again
It's where all the dumb nicknames came from. And it just so happens that he ended up dating the guy he nicknamed Top.
And no, he definitely didn't do it on purpose... (he did)
It took a while for Skizz to find a proper crew, despite his irresistible personality, because he was weird. He spoke weirdly. He used weird phrases. He had weird habits. In reality, these were all things he learnt to prevent his Fae heritage from causing problems.
It also means that when he made friends, he made good ones. Ones that saw past those oddities to embrace Skizz. And it led him to meeting his Tango Top! What could be better than that?

A continuation on the Team TIES flower shop post.
Bdubs used to date both Impulse and Etho. He also was juggling both relationships at the same time without both of them knowing. They both literally met by finding out their bf was juggling both of them without their knowledge and consent, and claimed polyamory(screwing with both Impy and Ethos' wishes to be in a poly relationship cause they were just starting but Bdubs being unethical made them have to take some time to think about things.)
When Bdubs does show up to try and try and win a lover back he goes with half-dead gas station flowers(an insult in and of itself in a greenhouse where plants are actually healthy) trying to win back one of the other, or possibly both.
Zed's work fathers Tango and Skizz have told him not to fill Bdubs's car with manure mostly to keep him out of legal trouble. He only refrained from using the manure cause it'd be a waste of company supplies ever for a crap lover, so Zed just settled for a block of frozen fish that will eventually melt and fill Bdubs's car with the smell of dead fish.
Skizz and Tango give him a talk about this kind of behavior. They don't want him to get in trouble or worse get seriously hurt trying to defend anyone from a past lover. Zed side eyes them both knowing full well they'd do the same thing for both Impulse and Etho, but also for each other. They compromise and say he has to get backup before doing something crazy.
first ask
The back up seems fair, even if Zed still grumbles about it. Bdubs doesn't seem as bad as Hels at least. An asshole, for sure. He almost ruined Impulse and Etho's newly budding relationship as well as his own. But, he doesn't seem like the kind of person to get physical about it. Just... The kind to pathetically stand at a distance.
The only danger is Impulse's weakness to puppy dog eyes and belief in the good of the world. He's already taken in the flowers Bdubs did bring to care for them - the poor things don't deserve to be abandoned just because of their buyer. He has the others to kick him if he ever starts seriously considering letting Bdubs back in, though. Especially Etho.
Etho is nursing the flowers back to life out of spite. Pure spite. The same way Impulse and him nursed their relationship back after Bdubs nearly tore them apart. He also supports Zed completely in his endeavours. He'd just never admit that to Skizz or Tango. Those two are scary.

Team TIES own a flowershop.
Or more specifically, Etho runs a greenhouse that sells flowers and all sorts of flowering plants. He brought his love Impy to handle the register and customers while he takes care of the plants. Tango and Skizz are mostly maintenance workers but they also pitch in to help Etho with the plant care and more rarely help Impulse with the register. Tango and Skizz also adopted an aroace workchild named Zedaph.
The situation is almost perfect playing to everyone's best skills. There was just one problem. All of them have had past lovers who would absolutely cross boundaries and try to get back together with them regardless of how any of the TIES feel. However, Impulse being the cashier and up front all the time handling the public puts him into contact with them if they do show up.
Fortunately, for most of the members of TIES, not that many exes have shown up. Unfortunately, Impy's exes Bdubs and Helsknight became regulars for the sole purpose of trying to win him back. Hels was extremely pushy one day and backed Impy into a corner, and Zed chased Hels off the premises with a hatchet. So far after that incident, Hels only stayed just outside the parking lot.
Etho, Tango and Skizz spent the next week grumbling at the audacity to pull something like that on their own premises. Impulse gets the feeling they're more upset Zed chased them off before they knew about it. The next time Skizz noticed him hanging around was very rewarding for Impulse to watch.
Zed, thankfully, doesn't seem too shaken up by the whole thing. He's still happily working alongside Impulse, the connection between the front and the back of the shop during the day. Impulse is happy to admit Zed probably knows more about the flowers than Impulse, but Zed always waves the compliment off.
Impulse can't help feeling on edge, though. It's easier when it's the others' exes. Impulse has a well used strategy that involves mostly gaslighting. But it works, and it keeps them all safe. But knowing he can't even leave the building without Hels possibly lingering there... He hates it. One of the others escort him, now. Even if it's just to his car.
He wishes he knew what it would take for them to give up. But, at the end of the day, he's the one that gets to go back to Etho and his smile (more beautiful than the flowers he covets so much.)

Under normal circumstances, Impulse and Etho would never break into someone's house. They have not been under normal circumstances for a long while. The boys just escaped a years-long abusive relationship with Helsknight and have been homeless for two months. One day they noticed Skizz and Tango talking about moving stuff out of the attic of their place since they don't really have that much stuff that needs to be stored. Etho found a window with a plant ladder, and they both just climbed in. It was empty and poorly insulated, but it was most definitely not the street. While cleaning up the insulation mess, Impulse found the door to the rest of the house. Neither of them touched it till a few days later when Tango and Skizz were out. They went down and cleaned the house before taking a quick shower and eating some leftovers.
Skizz and Tango noticed how clean the place was and the lack of some particular leftovers as soon as they came home, but it took them two months before they found the culprits. Tango and Skizz came home from work early to hear the shower running. Skizz grabbed a bat, Tango grabbed a knife, and they busted into the bathroom to confront whatever dangerous intruders were in their house. What they found instead were two half-starved and terrified guys staring at them waiting for harm. Impulse and Etho both explained they were running from an abusive ex, and they didn't go to a shelter to keep him from finding them. They both promised to leave right away if Tango and Skizz don't hurt them.
Etho knew the shower was risky. He'd told Impulse so, over and over again. Showers had been risky even back when they were with Hels! But, they'd grown too complacent. All that time Tango and Skizz followed the same routine - they weren't prepared for it to suddenly differ. Normally one of them would be keeping watch but they just... They wanted to spend some more time together. It'd been so long since Impulse got to wash Etho's hair.
The pair end up on Tango and Skizz's sofa, nursing a hot drink. They explain that they've been trying to find a job, to get back on their own feet again. But they ended up having to flee without any of their documents, and Hels has connections in so many places. He is a police officer, after all.
Tango and Skizz could never throw them out. They've been here this long without stealing from them, or trying to hurt them in any way. They're more than happy to let the pair stay. They can refurbish the attic to give them their own space, if they'd like. And they're welcome to stay on a pull out bed until then.
Etho tries to argue they couldn't accept something like that, but Impulse gives him a long side-eye. They have to, the other option is going back to the streets. Where Hels surely has people looking for them, under some false story. Is it so bad to accept the kindness of strangers? To try and rebuild a home for themselves? Tango points out that the house has been far tidier since the pair moved in, and that's worth the cost on its own.
So, it's decided. They treat it like a roommates situation, drawing up chores and meal plans. Skizz makes sure to tell them (lots of times) that they're allowed to stay even if they aren't able to complete the chores! They're allowed to stay no matter what. (It didn't stop Impulse's terrified breakdown when he burned their dinner, but... At least they know for next time.)
And, whilst they work on the attic, they find themselves growing closer to each other. It takes a long time for either of the pairs to make a move. There's too much at stake, too many lines that are too easy to cross.
But eventually, they're shopping for a bigger bed in the master bedroom instead.
