LINK, OF SKYLOFT
Skyward Sword
[From my original Linkverse, That Broken Promise]
GENDER: Male (amab)
PRONOUNS: He/Him
HEIGHT: 5'2"
AGE: 26
HEALTH: Fatigue, weak lungs, periodic lung bleeding [curse]
WEAPONS: None
ITEMS: Beetle, fireshield earrings, water dragon scale, stamina potions
SPELL: None
Skyloft travelled the forgotten surface world and destroyed two incarnations of an evil god: the Imprisoned and Demise. Zelda regained the Goddess' memories, but has largely returned to herself. Link, however, retains internal scars from his battles and has been in poor health ever since.
His first two priorities are, and always have been, those he considers family and close friends. While his parents died when he was young, he always had someone looking out for him in Skyloft. He loves Zelda deeply, and considers her father as good as his own. The only secret between them is how much she remembers of acting as Hylia and what she said about shaping him for her purposes, and he intends to keep it that way. Zelda and their community are all very scared he's gone missing, and fear something bad happened to him.
Skyloft speaks easily, is literate, but doesn't know sign language. He understands all spoken language.
He's bisexual and likes to keep things light and playful. He had a crush on Pipit a while back. Curerntly monogamous, and involved with his Zelda. They have four year old twin daughters.
CURRENT MEDIA:

Author's Note:
I do not subscribe to reading Christian allegory into Zelda mythology. While Skyloft is absolutely the definition of a mythic hero, and a passionately loyal, optimistic person, the choice of Christian music is because that particular genre embodies faith, love, and hope perfectly.
It is NOT meant as a declaration of allegory. I am not personally Christian. I'll be posting something about how polytheist the Zelda mythos is another time.

Being a non-shipper, the fact that Ghirahim’s special ability in Hyrule Warriors marks an enemy to take extra damage is just so absolutely HILARIOUS to me because guess what said brutally effective targeting system looks like.
Guess.
It’s a red fucking line. A thread, if you will. Between Ghirahim and his target.
WHICH PUTS THE JAPANESE DIALOGUE INTO AN ENTIRELY NEW CONTEXT.
He’s not flirting. He can see Fate Things going on because he’s a sword spirit and he is THREATENING Link.
That’s just SO FUNNY TO ME.
All the years of “yaoi is the only possible interpretation”, and, more recently, “yaoi is the only possible interpretation and if you disagree you’re a homophobe” and. And there is an actual red thread. That kills you. And it’s not out of the question considering Ghirahim is essentially an awkward, isolated sentient AI and we get to see firsthand that he has no genitalia.
It’s so goddamn funny to me.
THAT’S NOT THE RED STRING OF FATE
THAT’S HIS MURDERBOT TARGETING SYSTEM
YOU ARE IN DANGER

We had a frog hoodie art collab in Zelink Discord server where we choose which Links should wear it - so I went with SS Link!
I also bought the same green hoodie (minus the embroidered text) and it’s actually cozy and comfy to wear - plus the hoodie zipper is way better than eye masks especially if you’re on a road trip 🥰

Wrote a little Skyward Sword fic! Link struggles to calm himself while trying to bring Parrow's missing sister Orielle back to Skyloft.
Pretty self-indulgent. I've been hit with a sudden, inescapable wave of Skord Thoughts and wanted to take a moment to think about one of my favourite sidequests. Toilet hand takes first place for best sidequest though. Obviously.

Febuwhump Day 10: Killing in Self Defence
Also known as, illustrations for fics that aren't done yet, in which he kills other human beings for the first time after a Yiga ambush (There are no human enemies in Skyward Sword!)
But there's others with him he has to keep safe, too, and they cannot fight like he can.
