Hello! I saw some art about a legundo hive mind au and I am a big fan of both Legundo and hivemind's. But I can't find anything more on it, can you ramble about it to me if you have time? thanks <3

this got much longer than I expected, so I have tossed most of it under a cut lol. Have fun!

Hivemind Legundo is a collaborative au between myself and other members of a scenario smp server!

It started as a series of rambles in a (seperate) watch party server, then got copied over so more than the... 6? of us in there could talk about it.

It has spawned at least 5 sub-aus of varying degrees of detail, the most prominent of which is a merger with the Northern Sean AU! Northern Sean is an au where, instead of dying permanently, Sean and his knights fall under the North's banner. Sean is Himself about it, including after he realizes he's falling for Legundo. I made this one a google doc, it was posted as an answer to an ask sent to @astronautbeans back in August!

This version of the au is the only one to have a posted fic at the moment, which is on Ao3 with the title "The Eyes Who Watch And Listen"

The other variants include:

"Shadow is a baby Eldritch Being and Legundo wants to keep him" in which Legundo wants to teach baby Eldritch Shadow How To Eldritch 101, often ft. Northern Sean (there's a lot of overlap here. everything bleeds into the rest, creating a very fun grab-bag to work with)

"RTGame is here, and he's an Eldritch Being" pretty much what is says on the tin, ft. RT being older than Legundo (how much older varies) and RTChat being his (body-less) Hivemind, in the form of stars. this one has a lot of overlap with Eldritch Shadow, and has two sub-aus of its own!

One is where they (the Beings) all have wings, which is where the art from @ice-cap-k comes from! The other involves Robert breaking free of the Hivemind, becoming a Creature (a non-human Other that is distinctly Not a Being) and the resulting Shenanigans

"100 Days Multiverse Legundo lands in the North" also exactly what it sounds like, ft. Two Legundos in different flavours of Eldritch, as many references as I can make, and the compare-contrast of the Legundos.

"Viking is here, unknowingly nonhuman, and about to have Problems" primarily mine, it's also what it sounds like! Viking is in the North, nonhuman enough to be noticeable, and interesting. And oh, does Eldritch Legundo like interesting people. The problems arise when his nonhuman heritage starts showing up, finally getting enough power to stop being subtle.

Most of this took place in a discord, so if you have more questions, feel free to ask! I've been trying to remember to ramble more on here as well, so this is a good start

Their teams are two of the oldest in F1 history, and they're irreperably wrapped up in a history of scandal between each other. They both quickly became their teams' golden child, the one who was going to win the championships, the one who was going to end a decade-long deficit.

Both failed at the hands of Max Verstappen. Don't even get me started on how he fits into all this.

Both have the potential to be entirely shafted by their teams in 2025 because of the new, interesting teammate that everyone believes will win a championship before they'll come close.

They hate each other. They can't get away from each other. They're the same person. Four squared is sixteen.

sharing these thoughts again, but caleb is 300% the type of guy to go "i'm gonna kill myself" at any minor inconvenience. however, let me add to that — i also think that one of his immediate responses to outside trouble is "damn. we should kill them"

after going through your first heartbreak in high school and telling caleb about it, he replies with "we should kill him," and it makes you laugh and agree with him jokingly (he'd do it but you need him more so that stupid boy's life has been spared). he probably blabs about how you don't need that guy's attention because none of them could treat you the way you deserve, and you're fine hanging out with him for the time being.

the misandrist thoughts from him never stop — as a matter of fact, they get stronger when you start dating. he landed the girl of his dreams, and he doesn't feel worthy, but he'd rather keel over and die before letting another guy have you.

I'm super happy to see you're enjoying the twins AU! As for Penelope and Telemachus, they're perfectly cool with it and love the babies with all their hearts <3

Penelope helped deliver the twins (along with Artemis) and is honestly sooo proud of her hubby for this. She was pregnant once as well, so she knows exactly what to do and how to help Ody through it all. She's his rock and biggest support in life.

Telemachus also adores the twins and sees them as his brothers. Honestly, he's been all on his own throughout most of his life so when he found out he was going to become a big brother, he was beyond elated! Dude spent days just losing his mind and going wild XD

The whole family loves the babies so, so much and spoils them like crazy. They'll grow up surrounded by love and attention <333

Why did half my day literally go to replying and typing emails??

Thumbs up, probably doesn't use an email account tbh, and is more responsive via whatsapp. Maybe a 'thanks,' but no kind regards. Accidentally makes typos or might send a chain mail to the whole office unintentionally. One word replies are definitely his thing.

Time:

Yea I can see him being formal and polite. Probs,

'Thanks and kind regards, Link.'

Sounds a bit intimidating when you read his emails because he uses full stops to end his paragraph. No exclamation marks. If he's unsure might just send a '?' in response which could spiral someone if they don't know him or what he's like in person, and sounds curt. Email replies are a must during off business hours. He has boundaries between personal and work life yknow.

Twilight:

So kind and heartfelt!! <3 Might add a smiley face, uses:

'Dear recipient, hope you are keeping well.

Warm regards, Link.' :) if he's in a good mood that day.

Honestly delayed replies, but he's tired and sometimes you gotta follow up with him a couple of times before he gets back to you. Everyones kinda just used to it now. Standard polite. Probably starts with:

'Apologies for my delayed response....'

Much appreciated and best wishes, Link' A typo or two is a possibility. He needs an email reply to let people know he might take his time, but he hasn't gotten around to it yet. He will, eventually. If he doesn't ditch the job.

Struggling a bit with art so did a few “warm ups” the past couple of days.

First is @askfilmcut since I was excited to see the artist draw him again after so long! Second is an alternative September if she went in a different direction in life and got into the alt. fashion crowd. How do you edit and take your photos? They all look so great! Also what camera/phone do you use?

Hello, Thank you so much!! 🥰 I use my phone, it's a S23 Ultra. Then I edit them on PS. I normally mute the colors to a mild sepia tone, lower the saturation of the greens, turn the blue channel to teal, bring up the reds, and for the values I darken the whites and the mid to light values quite a bit, oh and I add a slight noise effect for grain!

caleb is def the type to let you sit in his lap and try your makeup or skincare on him. also the type to accompany you on your sephora runs and let you test products on him when you run out of space on your own hands. you put him on a nice smelling aftershave from there and he’s since used it religiously because you mentioned that it smells rlly good

YEEEEEEES . YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES oh my god . Oh my god . i like had such a visceral reaction to this i Immediately started rolling around in my bed and kicking my feet. YES1! YESSSS oh my god.

he 100% asks you about your makeup products in hopes of you telling him "can i try them on you?" like that man is plotting. he's acting so nonchalant with it too, probably going "sure pips" but inside? he's so giddy. when you sit in his lap and start putting on some products, you literally have to tell him to stop smiling too wide or else it'll crease and he's holding back a smile because he's SOOOO happy..

as for skincare, he asks you about it once some time ago, and when you looked at him with excited eyes — he just knew that he had to let you do whatever you wanted to do with him. and so, here he is resting his hands on your hips while you carefully apply a mud mask to his face..

and YES. caleb made a new sephora account so that you could get two gifts a year too!! he learns about your products and buys them for you when you're running out (or just as a gift). oh and the aftershave.. nonnie you're so smart i bet his brain shortcircuited when you leaned in to smell him and went "smells so good" like he had to Stash that aftershave. It's his scent forever and ever now
