Anyways here's my boy I call him yolk because. he's kind of egg colored isn't he LOL. He's the only one of the three dca boys to actually still be a robot in this au, and he's basically a gigantic machine designed to go with the expedition trial teams to help defend them against any hostile aliens (spoiler, they're all hostile in the company's eyes, and if sun fails to kill em, well, it's a bad day for him)

Heyyyyy- sorry bout disappearing for a month, I started drawing these back in April- but turns out full illustrations with backgrounds and multiple characters take awhile to draw, who would’ve guessed 💀

Yeah so this all started after the Watcher dlc dropped and I thought “haha both of my current hyper-fixations have time travel mechanics that’s so funny- what if i combined them.” And I’ve had brain worms ever since.

I doubt many of you actually know what RainWorld is, let alone played it.. But to the maybe 7 people who actually know what the fucking I’m talking about, I love you -and could you imagine the chain’s reaction upon seeing a Miros vulture for the first time? :3c

I have so many thoughts in my brain about this stupid little au and I need to draw them SO BAD but drawing is HARD and takes TIME and I need to EXPLODE

Also I used some photo bashing to make the backgrounds. I really didn’t wanna draw Pebbles’ superstructure by hand, so I just used some of the game’s official art and painted on top. Pretty fun technique, definitely gonna play with it more in the future.

ive been pretty chill so far and just being like HUH???? and also very tired and disappointed this whole time but it's finally starting to sink in and ugh

three years since that announcement just for this

i really hope they still do Something with missing link even if their original plan didnt work one because they cant just leave out all those plot points that's awful and two i feel really bad for all the people on the team who put all that hard work in for nothing

they have a bunch of stuff there from over these three years of development so maybe even if the gameplay gets thrown out they could to a back cover type movie instead and just do cutscenes at least but like. dont just abandon it.

i just. ugh. square enix why. three years. three years of development it was practically done why would they throw all of the devs hard work away please convert it into a movie like with days or back cover please even if the original vision for it doesnt happen they gotta do something with it right

square really needs to get their act together or stuff like this will keep happening i wish they'd at least tell us more give us the behind the scenes struggles and why it came to this i just want to understand dont just drop this on us no warning no explanation after radio silence for 6 months and the news before that was the beta last may i mean im glad they finally told us and didnt just. never mention it again. i wouldnt be completely surprised just really disappointed and a little mad

my dumbass has just realised i accidentally skipped from s01e10 to s02e01 of earthspark. no wonder i felt like i'd missed a lot, because i have.

Sky Tumblr’s gonna be crazy once this comes out

1. Isle being forested. Mounds are in the background.

2. Isle had more land that’s now covered by the clouds.

3. The child (probably the King) is with other children, alongside a guardian of sorts.

4. The child looks at an Abyss-style manta..

5. The guardian looks angry, and is presumably from Vault.

6. More multi-wing mantas are being shown.

7. The boat heads to the flourishing Isle Temple, with isle being shown.

8. “Many years later”… so it’s definitely canon

9. “The story continues” the most interesting part to me. The Two Embers will not only have a story that connects with the game, but it sounds like the “start”. Maybe Two Embers will appear to people who haven’t played Sky, causing them to watch the show before playing the game?

Side note: There are human sounds, and the music is a combination of “Overture” and “The Invention” (forest elder theme)

Why I LOVEEE the Sky and Twilight duo to bits and pieces.

The PARALLELS. AAUAUUUUU- JOJO YOU GENIUS.

They're like night and day, but they're still like... THE SAME. Like twins with different aesthetics. I haven't seen anybody talk about this so I WILL.

Seriously, look at them. Sky's pallete is light, Twi's is dark. Yet they both wear waist thingies. They've both got blonde-ish brown hair, but Sky's is swept to the left, Twi's is swept to the right. Which is funny cuz... SKY IS RIGHT HANDED, TWI IS LEFT HANDED.

Twilight is drawn with sharper edges, while Sky is drawn much softer. They both wear chainmail but... Sky's is silver, Twi's is gold. Both of them wear cloaks of some kind. Sky's is white, Twi's is black. NIGHT AND DAY. LIGHT AND DARK. YIN AND YANG.

Sky was born and raised a knight, Twi grew up on a farm. But both of them came from outside of Hyrule in tight-knit communities.

Both of them have sassy childhood best friends who always got after them, who also was the daughter of a leader, who both lost and had to recover their memory in some way. Except Sky's in love with her, Twilight is not.

Both of them had companions they became incredibly close with, only to have to part with forever at the end of their journey. Except Twilight's in love with her, Sky is not.

Both of them were used by the girl they love, both forgived her. Except Sky knew her all his life, Twilight did not.

Both of their girls have powers. Except one is from the light, while the other is from the dark.

Both of them have animal mounts that they love to death. But one soars in the sky, one gallops on the land.

Twilight is probably going to be the end of his bloodline, Sky is definitely going to start one (THE ROYAL FAMILY.) And more on that, Twilight is the descendant of a hero, but Sky is the ancestor to the princesses. Both of them have relatives ties, just in the exact opposite way. Sky likely has no idea, while Twilight knows all too well.

Both of them fought for those they love, one for familial love, the other for romantic. One earned a new friend, one lost a love.

Oh, and if you believe in the headcanon that Legend is Fable's brother, this gets crazier. Because then, Sky would have a descendant, Twilight would have an ancestor.

Oh... and their games... heheheh...

Sky's game originally released with motion controls, but then later, it got a button version. Twilight's game got the opposite. Buttons to motion controls. The only two games with motion control sword mechanics. The same thing, but opposite.

Twi's game was gothic and grungy, Sky's was all pastels and sunshine, except both made a lot of people cry at the end. THE SAME THING, BUT OPPOSITE!!!! TWI'S GAME WAS PORTED TO THE WII BUT SKY'S CAME FROM THE WII THEN GOT PORTED.

Sky got his girl back after losing her, Twilight lost his after just meeting her. Eheheh... ahahah.... mweheheh...

This is also another reason I headcanon Sky's beast form is a goat. Twilight wishes he were a goat. Sky likely wishes he was a wolf.

Both are mediators in the group, dependable, and stable. Someone the others would come to for a listening ear and a comforting word, or some words of advice. Someone to lean on.
