I've realized what one of the flaws in the series is now that's a more subtle flaw.
Aside from Purdy... No one has a "way of speaking". Everyone sounds the same. So much formal speak is used now, and mind you with cats in leader positions I imagine there would be an expectation of sorts, I can't imagine Mistystar accepting anything less than PERFECT grammar.
But a cat like Graystripe? He'd love weird contraction words! Man says "y'ain't" unironically!
Dovewing using big words and long complex phrases until she leaves Thunderclan and challenges herself to use as few words as possible for a while to break the habit...
Hollyleaf The Nerd accidentally taught her the habit in the first place, mind. Get a chair and some water when Holly gives a speech, you'll be there for a while.
Jayfeather on the other hand? Learn to speak grunt.
Lionblaze picks up mannerisms from EVERYONE. Slang from Daisy and Berrynose, a little "y'know?" From Cinderheart, and you can catch him say "um" the same way Leafpool does from his brief time as Cleric apprentice.
Squirrelflight would often speak too quickly so sometimesshetalkslikethis...
Hmm... Bit hard to read.
I'll-write-it-like-this! Squirrelflight!
Skybranch (Twigbranch) stumbles over words and tries to pick them as carefully as possible. A-uh A lot of the time, she'll kinda talk like this? I think, uh, I think that's good. Right? Yeah. Should be okay.
Where cats like, say, the aforementioned Mistystar, take a very high-class tone. A cat like Mistystar would not lower herself to using foul language, like the Thunderclan warrior, Spotfur. There would simply be no need for it.
And Spotfur thinks that that's badger bullocks! Swears express your passion, dammit!
But... Yeah. The way people speak and talk, tells you a LOT about them.

The package 📦 just came in from @skybranchbiz. Best quality #Kratom for best price out there (yes, I know it's my Mothers business but I still bought it directly from her and no one else even when she offered free samples because of the quality and value). This all natural plant 🌱 literally gets rid of my anxiety, depression, stress and helps fight negative addictions when I'm working. The New Leaders of The Clans.
Here it is. A big spoiler for WCR. I've been working on this for ages, since... God, hang on.
Tumblr media
June 1st, 2023.
That was when I made the choice to replace all leaders of the Clans.
So... If you want to know, keep reading.
If you don't, scroll on. I'll put a cat meme on the end of this post, so you know what the safe point is.
The new leader of Riverclan is....
Minnowtail. A cat without any connection to Starclan, and thus the cursed Moonpool. Her natural Dark Forest connection she was born with acted like a shield, protecting her from Gray Wing's curse and allowing it to be destroyed! Her deputy is Icewing!
The new leader of Windclan is....
Heathertail. Breezepelt, Harestar's beloved deputy, was brutally attacked by the curse's effect, leaving him on the verge of death. He decided that he wanted to become Head Queen instead, pursuing a new passion of teaching Windclan's youths. Heathertail becomes Heatherstar, and reintroduces Tunneling to Windclan. Her deputy is Leaftail!
The new leader of Skyclan is...
Waspwhisker. After his long trek home and a very awkward reunion due to Leafstar having died literally 15 seconds beforehand, Waspwhisker is at the center of a terrible political battle against his will. Skyclan is split in half between Hawk supporters and Wasp supporters, neither man wanting to be part of it and wishing Starclan could just... Maybe give them both 4 and a half lives? When the final vote is cast, Waspwhisker rises to become Waspstar. His deputy is Skybranch.
The new leader of Shadowclan is...
Lightleap. I'm going with the plan I had. The other plan was to reinstate Tigerheart under the new name Heartstar, but I've realized that him giving the finger to Starclan and putting his daughter in charge is a much more in character move. Also... Tigerclaw parallels with Berryheart. Her deputy is Pouncestep.
The new leader of Thunderclan is...
Hollyleaf. After all this time, after near death encounters and corrupt ex-fathers and dealing with Starclan's nonsense... Hollyleaf ascends to become Hollystar, the last leader to use the renewed Moonpool, taking on Bristlepaw as her apprentice, as it seems that the young molly is about to have some Starclan-related issues of her own...
And that's it! What do you think? Let me know!
Anyways cat meme!

Please tell me somwthing good happens to Hawkwing! I know a lot of his writing is crappy (with Pebblepaw especially, but the writer's views on romance in general is... iffy) but he is one of my blorbos. I love what he says about grieving, that he likes remembering her.
I just... wish he and Pebbleshine wwren't first cousins.
Well, quite a few things are going to happen to Hawkwing.
I need to properly read his super edition, but with the actual books?
He and Plumwillow are becoming mates! Sandynose is still the father of Plum's kittens, but they break up. She has fallen out of love with him. They get together during Squirrelflight's Freedom, noted by the Allegiances. Though, they aren't having more kits. They agree they have enough collectively. Also, side note, Plumwillow doesn't mentor anyone but Sunnypelt much later on. Just makes me feel a bit better.
He is featured more during The Broken Code, as he is Rootspring's grandfather, and I want Rootspring's family to actually get some focus instead of being props. He is a proper grandpa and spoils his grandchildren rotten whenever he can.
He gets a horrible wakeup call during his super edition, Hawkwing's Flight, when his father Sharpclaw joins The Kin. He is forced to kill his own father to protect those he cares about.
He and Pebbleshine have a different relationship story now. He is very awkward around her when they are young, but very kind to her. When he saves her, she is filled with guilt, but he lets her cry and grieve with him, as she and Duskpaw were incredibly close friends. His feelings are more consistent with what we see later on in AVOS. It hurts to lose his brother, but his brother would want to be remembered in a happy way, and his mentor helps him with that too. He isn't perfect, of course, and part of him WANTS to be mad at Pebblepaw. Hawkwing's Flight is about grief, and moving forward with it.
Speaking of Pebbleshine, no! He and Pebble are no longer related! Pebbleshine and Parsleyseed are now the children of Tinycloud and Canyonfang, an OC who joins the Kin... Or he would have if Tinycloud hadn't absolutely BODIED him. Tinycloud ain't no soft momma. (Also, while Sharpclaw x Cherrytail gives me the ick, Sparrowpelt x Tintcloud does as well. Age gap is shorter but unless it's a specific circumstance such as same age but one is just teaching the other, I'm never pairing apprentices and their mentors)
Hawkwing, Blossomheart, and Duskpaw are now the children of Sharpclaw and Ebonyclaw, who permanently joins Skyclan, but got into a very toxic relationship with Sharpclaw. He used her to appear better, as if he took a 'kittypet' mate, no one would suspect his hatred for them. (By the way, Cloudmist is now Cherrytail and Shrewtooth's kit, in case you wondered. She is so close with the SharpEbony litter she may as well be their sister though.)
He sadly is gonna have a rough go of thing's during A Starless Clan. Leafstar suffers a sudden heart attack due to the Starless Clan Curse activating, along with the fall from an incredibly high branch taking her final life. And just as he is about to step up and announce that he will take her place, Waspwhisker and the other missing cats enter the camp. So... Who has the rightful claim to leadership? Hawkwing has been deputy for a while now, sure, but it was always stated in the beginning that if Waspwhisker came back, it would go back to him...
Skyclan begins to split itself down the middle. One half vouching for Hawkwing, the other for Waspwhisker. The issues down in Riverclan and Shadowclan reaching their peaks as Hawkwing and Waspwhisker desperately try to keep the peace...

Even though Skybranch leaves for Skyclan in the end, I wanna improve the relationship she has with her foster soblings/foster mom and dad.
Snowbush is The Dad. He loves his kids loads and would do anything for them, he extends that to Twigkit. He is devesated seeing her leave but he knows Thunderclan fucked up with separating the 2. He always asks her how she's doing at Gatherings. How is Violetshine? Are you eating enough? Is your den comfortable? What's it like in the camp, is it safe? Are you alright? Any celebrations lately? Do you miss us?
Lilyheart is an amazing mom, she loves playing with her children, and treats them all equal. She also took classes in history, which she tries to teach them as much as she can, though Twigkit already has a special interest in cooking. It also devastates Lilyheart when Skybranch leaves, and she fussed over her before she goes. She would be the mom that asks you to call her loads when you move away. She learned to make Skybranch's favorite food for her at Gatherings. She cries over her at night, she misses her so much.
Honeyfur is the first born, the big sibling. She looks like the grandpa she never got to meet, build wise. She wants Twigkit to feel welcome, but also is a bit of a friendly rival. Loud and boisterous and a bit much for Twigkit, who would rather hang out at the cook-pot. Later in life, the 2 child/mate free girlies love hanging out at Gatherings and After Gathers. Honeyfur is also a gossip QUEEN who would talk Skybranch's ears off if she could.
Larksong thinks Skybranch is ABSOLUTELY part of the Prophecy. He thinks she'll have a power, like the Star-Blessed 4. They just have to 'unlock' it. Many bumps and bruises ensue. These two are gonna give Alderpaw and Sparkpaw a stroke. Thankfully for Twigpaw, it stops after they enter apprenticeship, with Rosepetal keeping Larkpaw very busy. They relatively keep in touch, until Larksong's passing. Skybranch wishes she had been in Thunderclan just a little bit longer, then, or at least been there for Sparkpelt.
Shadeleaf (Leafshade renamed because Leafpool isn't dead) is... Her least favorite. Shadeleaf is rude to her, very possessive over her parents, and has that good old Clan Xenophobia. Shadeleaf is the type of person who "tells it like it is" only their version of honesty is "How much can I insult you and get away with it?" Snowbush and Lilyheart love their children, but Shadeleaf needs a firm hand that she won't be getting any time soon until A Starless Clan. Skybranch and Shadeleaf don't hang out at all afterwards. Skybranch feels no need to be around a cat that made her feel like an outsider when she didn't even want to be there in the first place.

So I kind of want to wash away and reform AVOS. I'm split on the choice here.
Windclan!Needletail (or just a different cat, maybe Heathertail's rebellious child...?) Being the swap out here. Violetkit growing up in Windclan and their religious zealousness feeling like an outsider constantly.
Windclan suffers from Yellowcough plague and is denied help from Riverclan, putting some focus on them, with Shadowclan shutting borders down (because they get loads of focus in TBC and ASC and honestly Mistystar's sudden dickhead behavior could at least have a beginning here and make Mothwing extremely disillusioned with Riverclan life by the time ASC rolls around)
It's painfully obvious a bad choice gets made with Violet and Twig here too because is a skinny little thing, and Violet ends up chubby and bulkier. She can't run on the moor like everyone else instead of Shadowclan just... being assholes? It would make Windclan more agitated with Onestar too.
Also the Darktail situation is much more personal. That's not-Needletail's half uncle! Destroying Windclan and taking it over by promising he'll outperform his father, they don't have to be at the lazy and arrogant Onestar's command. Come Be Family, Be The Kin :)
Not-Needletail would try and show him fire to have cooked food like the Clans, and he uses it as a weapon to set Shadowclan's territory on fire, killing many cats (this would kill actual Needletail, and driving loads of Shadowclan, also dissatisfied with Rowanstar's passive leadership into Darktail's Kin would still push Berryheart into her Hate Spiral).
Riverclan reopens at Reedwhisker's command while Mistystar is at the Moonpool because "well you left me in charge, I was temporary leader and that meant my word was law and you love me so much mom"
It would be a huge actual battle all while these poor sisters are trying to find their family, Sparkpelt is grappling with her trauma and pressure to be Firestar 2.0, and Heathertail is watching her father deal with the monster he created.
Would the ripple effects be massive? Absolutely. I have no clue what this will entail for A Starless Clan, which already is rippling quite hard. Am I going to have to bleed Rowanstar's lives heavily? Yes, I might even still keep the Shadowclan plague and still have Onestar be a self-righteous fuckhead leading to both clans getting fucked over. Needletail could still be Heathertail's kid, whereas Sleekwhisker and Strikestone are Berryheart's kids and she watches her daughter get wrapped up in everything and becoming a horrible person. Windclan joins Skyclan and Shadowclan joins Riverclan setting up the tension suddenly present in ASC- "You didn't wanna be here before why the fuck are in our business now?"
It would take a LOT of work but it could work.

So major changes to AVOS, please let me know what you think. The seasons are going to be changed as well for Aesthetic.
Main POVs are Sparkpaw/pelt, Violetkit/paw/shine, Twigkit/paw/Skybranch, and later on, Puddleshine. Alderheart has very, very few chapters. Mainly his are only at the beginning of Apprentice's Quest.
Violetkit is put into Windclan with Needletail as Heathertail and Breezepelt's firstborn daughter (Smokehaze and Brindlewing being born with her earlier). I don't know which queen fosters her but I have the feeling it'll be a "unofficial oc". One of the unused names from the Kittypet vote that Wafflepaw one.
Windclan is struggling with their arrogant, selfish leader, but Shadowclan is struggling with their "I never wanted to be here in the first place" leader who refuses to act.
Heathertail mentors Violetpaw, but it is hard for her. She put herself up for ages as an independent cat but now has to watch her father admit that:
A. He wanted to run away from Windclan and become a kittypet
B. He sired a child with a kittypet that he planned to run away with.
C. Then turned his back on them both, tossing them out when Smoke revealed she had been wanting to be in Windclan the whole time, telling them they would never succeed despite Brushclaw being a successful warrior and Windclan being welcoming at the time.
Sparkpelt is only not wanting to help Skyclan because Molewhisker DIED on the way there, and her beloved grandma Sandstorm was murdered by Darktail. She doesn't want to face that trauma again so soon, and people won't stop talking about how Firestar wouldn't do this.
Shadowclan and Windclan both get wrecked, Shadowclan fusing with Riverclan (setting up future tensions) and Windclan merging with Skyclan.
Shadowclan's territory is burnt up badly by Darktail, who now has Windclan's territory as his own.
Violetpaw does not attack Twigpaw, instead she is simply shoved into her, she still feels bad about getting her hurt, even if it wasn't her fault. Needletail helped raise her, but she has complex feelings about this, she doesn't like Needtail's love of violence and Needletail (with Onestar) suggesting the separation.
Ivypool is not a bitch about Dovewing's love-life, instead she does want to go on the patrol, but Bramblestar is the one preventing it. Twigpaw sneaks out anyways with Lionblaze and Fallen Leaves' help (as they were on guard duty), going with Spark and Ivy to find things out. Which oddly lines up with Violetpaw sneaking out as well. The two sisters go it alone, though Sparkpelt fusses over them.
More under the cut!
They see the spirit sign and grieve together. But Violetpaw needs to set things right with everything going on with Needletail. Twigpaw isn't as deterred, and she finds Skyclan.
When Riverclan is attacked, they aren't driven out completely, it is just a display of power, the battle is a stalemate, Mistystar losing a life, and a chunk of Riverclan being taken prisoner.
The Kin are fucking HUGE. They're a big group, enough that the Clans are genuinely having to fight hard for this.
Upon this, Sandstorm's sacrifice, the weaponization of fire, and Violetpaw's misery that she herself inflicted, Needletail realizes this is beyond fucked up. She still gets imprisoned with the starving Riverclan cats though.
Violetpaw's espionage really fucks with her. She is constantly looking over her shoulder. Her relationship with Needletail is strained as hell but Needletail sacrificing herself to save Violetpaw caps it off. It saved her life but it doesn't undo the harm Needletail caused.
In the end, Onestar does die doing the right thing for once. Does he go to Starclan right away? Absolutely not. Prison Sentence for you, boy. But he feels he deserves it and is fine with going. The problem is reflected on the Clans, and while some have the xenophobic knee-jerk reaction to just blame Darktail, a lot of cats realize that the rebellious young cats of the Clans have a point.
Chunks of Kin cats join the Clans, happy to be away from Darktail. Sleekwhisker remains though, swearing that Darktail will live on, his legacy will remain. No one knows what she means by that...
It is deep into Winter and things are TENSE. Food is scarce, and cats are restless. Thunderclan has welcomed in Skyclan, under the pretense that they will find a home eventually.
They're trying, but when the Leader and Second in Command of Thunderclan are at odds, things are split.
Sparkpelt isn't given a 180 to make Alderheart look better. Jayfeather is anti-Skyclan, Cherryfall is anti-Skyclan (mainly because of Mole's death), and some others. It's a sensitive topic (though Berrynose is very much pro Skyclan because if they leave his son died for nothing)
Violetpaw actually gets to break down to her family and cry, because she is not thankful to Windclan for taking her away from her sister, and penalizing her for being different. She tells Harestar otherwise, not wanting to be rude.
Twigpaw says she wants to finish her education first, and continues on a bit in Thunderclan, miserable as she is, she wants to prove to them she is worth something.
Violetpaw is kitty autism, she struggles with social cues and understanding emotions sometimes such as Hawkwing speaking about Pebbleshine making him happy. Twig is also kitty adhd, she is hyper curious all the time, and interrupts others often, which can get on Violet's nerves. But Violet can also be blunt which sets off Twig's RSD.
Twigpaw is named Skybranch after she returns to Thunderclan, the third name Bramblestar has ever confidently given a cat after Lilyheart and Seedfur. She gets it later though, since things in Thunderclan are tenser than a bowstring.
Finpaw still loses his tail, but Violetpaw and the other apprentices are his buddies rather than Twigpaw.
Sparkpelt receives the Prophecy "The Dark Sky must not herald a Storm" after finding Needletail's spirit near the Windclan border during a solo hunt. She tells Alderheart and he stupidly tells the rest of the medicine cats.
All the apprentices want to see Twigpaw, so they all have a secret meeting at the lake where she breaks him out of his shell and he talks about his insecurity about his tail. They bond with these secret meetings and he joins Thunderclan.
Sparkpelt is angry Alderheart went to the Twolegplace when he said they'd go together, he doesn't want attention but NEEDS to be the hero. He gets into a fight with Dandeliontuft and Sparkpelt when they save him because he's insecure.
Ivypool and Tigerheart BOTH go after Dovewing, working together and finally reaching an understanding (Super Edition: Tigerheart's Light)
Snowbush doesn't die, but his leg is amputated.
Violetshine gets together with Tree and Zelda, who stays with the Clans (along with Loki moving to Shadowclan)
Twigpaw is finally given her name, Skybranch, but she doesn't look happy. When pressed during the ceremony, she tells Thunderclan that she has made her choice. She'll always have some love for them, but she loves her sister more. Skybranch leaves for Skyclan with Finleap, and does not come back.
Tree is also a tolly, going by they/he pronouns.
Briarlight doesn't die from the sickness. They immediately move her into Hollyleaf's old Tunnels area, watched over by Hollyleaf and Strawberrytuft (renamed Hollytuft)
Yarrowleaf and Conefoot are found and want to rejoin the Clans instead of Yarrowleaf and Sleekwhisker.
Leafstar is no longer as angry, instead she is visibly stressed out trying to keep everyone happy, and asks the cats of the others Clans "no more shuffling around right now, PLEASE. Skyclan needs more time to settle and find our old clanmates."
Fuzzball actually (completely by accident) gets through to Jayfeather, and when Jay realizes when an ass he's been, he finally changes for the better. Still sarcastic, but less mean spirited, more wanting to actually joke with others. Fuzzball stays in Thunderclan, becoming Fuzzyleaf, a Keeper. He is Jayfeather's mate. His job is to organize and help keep the camp clean.
The Clans like the idea of a Mediator but there is struggle on who to pick for the other Clans.
Sparkpelt and Dandeliontuft are running around playing nurse while this happens, wanting to help their brother out.
More than just Yarrowleaf's kits are taken. I haven't decided who yet, however. But this results in not only Rowanstar's death, but also Conefoot. Died protecting his nephew and niece against their own father, killing Nettle as he drops from blood loss.
More related to Tigerheart's Light, but more Guardian cats come along too.
Blossomfall and Ivypool are mates, their sire is Thrifty, a Loner tom. He looks just like Thriftear! Blossom gives birth just as Dove, Ivy and Tiger get back, the kits slightly overdue, as if they were waiting for their other mom...
Ivypool and Dovewing have a proper goodbye, and there are no hard feelings. None of the shit we got.
When Alderheart visits Velvet in a rare POV for him to bring back her Fishy, he promises that he will come back, that he will visit her. She gives him what is known now as Velvet Thyme and Hattie gets a cameo.
He goes to the Moonpool but the only chat he gets with Starclan is Sandstorm telling him that Thunderclan is in for some troubled times ahead, he just sighs, replying "I know."
Rowanclaw is referred to as Rowanstar in Starclan, out of honour.
Sparkpelt mentors Flypaw, understanding her a lot better and working with her.
Violetshine also takes an alternate path in life, making Sandynose even more of an insufferable prick. She wants to become a Nurse-Maid (permaqueen) and begins her training for that with the other Queens. She is sick of violence.
Sparkpelt is racing with Flypaw to get some energy out when they overhear the medicine cats arguing about the Deathberry Cure.
Dandeliontuft is the one to suggest the cure at all to Alderheart. "Perhaps the deathberries killed the infection, allowing its body to just fight the tiny amount of poison instead."
Flypaw doubts herself heavily, thinking she will never be a Warrior. Sparkpelt gives her encouragement about it, telling her that she will be the most quick-witted Warrior in Thunderclan.
Finleap starts pressuring Skybranch to have kits. He will eventually get shut down, and in the end he leaves back to Thunderclan and will fall into the Imposter's Claws later in life.
Leafstar isn't this oddly aggressive leader, she just wants Skyclan to thrive, and is willing to compromise. Juniperclaw is the antagonistic force here, refusing to agree with Tree's terms. Instead of a random Quick Time Dog Event, Juniperclaw just leaves in a huff. He wants Skyclan GONE.
Violetshine snaps at him for saying Skybranch owes him, telling him that he's an idiot.
Shadowkit has genuine epilepsy, it is treated with valerian but... The outcome looks bleak. This leads into Tawnypelt's Vision. Tigerstar is staying in Thunderclan's camp to keep an eye on Puddleshine, and keeps Shadowkit with him, until Tawnypelt takes him with her to the Tribe to try and heal him, or at least get things under control.
More cats than just Sparrowpelt are poisoned. Cherrytail, Petalnose, and Billystorm all get sick. Leagstar loses a life.
Puddleshine POV (he might be the Shadowclan POV after Violet leaves) going to the Moonpool after his recovery, where he gets the sign, but also talks with Conefoot about the Clans needing to work together, a vision of Fivetrees. Ancient words ring. Unite or Die.
Harestar is most giving to Skyclan, though he acknowledges that Wind land isn't really suited for Sky cats hunting style. Bramble neutral leaning to against, that they should go back to the lake. Tigerstar is for them to stay, but Mistystar says it would be best for them to go back. After all, Darktail is gone, why are they still here?
Another Puddle POV (ooh) where he puts together that some deathberries are missing. He smells Juniperclaw's scent on them and FREAKS. He tries to tell Alderheart but the boy feels defeated. He feels like everything was for null.
Sparkpelt finds Tree and Zeldaheart, who miss Violetshine terribly since Skyclan has left. Sparkpelt swallows her nerve and, after sending Flypaw back to camp, she will track down Skyclan. The TRUE Spark That Remains.
Meanwhile, Dandeliontuft and Alderheart both go over to Shadowclan's territory carrying herbs, pretending to want to give some extras over as goodwill and check Puddleshine and Shadowkit over.
Upon the realization that Juniperclaw poisoned Skyclan to make them leave, he is not only stripped of deputyship. He is exiled.
Sparkpelt argues with Bramblestar about going after them, calling him out on ignoring their plea when he was the one who made the "All Clans Stick Together" LAW IN THE FIRST PLACE, learning that Skyclan was poisoned... She decides to do it her own way. Spark steals a few traveling herbs, Larksong comes with her, and they go off after Skyclan together with Tree and Zeldaheart.
While on the journey, the rain makes it hard to even see, the cats staying near each other, shoulder to shoulder, nose to tail. Everyone is terrified.
Leafstar loses a life drowning before Ebonyclaw can get her out of the water.
Skybranch finally cuts Finleap off. Enough is enough. She doesn't want kittens, ever.
When they get back, the Clans are in full panic mode, remembering the Great Storm and also the fact that a little kid is missing.
Violetshine dives into the water to save Shadowkit but gets swept further through the rushing water. Juniperclaw manages to save them, but he stares at the Shadowclan cats, the cats he tried to kill off...
"I'll never be able to say it enough, but Skyclan... I'm sorry."
It isn't a redemption. It's him paying with his life to tell these cats he is sorry, that his threat is no more.
Skyclan settles into their space, the Clans all expanding outwards further. Sparkpelt sees Firestar's suddenly next to her sitting calmly, watching with pride. Time seems to stop for a moment.
"The 5 Clans need to face threats together. You united them once more. Sparkpelt, I'm so proud to be part of your family."

I really like Moonpaw’s design! And I’m hoping she is secretly a NightSun kit, with like a callback to the Three, which I think would be really cool. Probably not, but she is in my heart.
I quite like it as well! I actually have multiple au versions of her because nothing is even set in clay yet, let alone stone.
I personally love the versions of her where her absorbed twin is the "scary evil voice" (or just a bit more... "Mean", not afraid to call someone a dumbass), but also the version where she is the reincarnation of Bristlefrost. Sadly, that doesn't work with WCR...
I have the Meta Commentary/Cosmic Horror/Fandom heavy version of her as a NightSun baby, at the cost of Sunbeam's life. She wants to do lots of different things, and gets more into crafting than anything, but... She wants her dad to back off. Then the Moonpool gets involved... (This version is more canon compliant, no Bramble Strike happened and Crowfeather is closer to canon, that is to say a jackass) Meta Arc 9 AU
I've got the Continuation of ASC version of her as a FringeSpire baby, coming off the heels of the Skyclan Split and Gray Wing War. She's got a lot of pressure on her, and wants to one day be Leader. She has a fascination with the Moonpool when Waspstar takes her there. (She would be protags with Brightheart, who is oraganizing a way to fight the encroaching Twolegs with Cranberrynose and Skybranch) (this one is even funnier because I already had kits planned for them named Moonkit and Poolkit, born at the Moonpool) Moon + Bright Arc 9 AU
I've got the other version of that where she's a ShellFern baby. It's much more simple, where her big desire is to be a Mediator. (She is protag with Tawnypelt, but also with Breezepelt struggling with his chronic pain and new role) ShellFern Arc 9 AU
I've got a StormCherry version, where there's pressure from being Daisykin, which has been developing quite the legacy. She's a little Poppyfrost clone! She would be the little sister of Silverspots, Flywhisker and Snaptooth, and they are already CherryStorm babies. The other protags are Leafkit, daughter of Featherpelt and Toadstep, who is hard of hearing, and Daisy, who is determined to get to the bottom of why Twolegs have begun to get closer, leading to a very... Strange discovery. Daisykin Arc 9 AU.
And then, I think my favorite little version of her, is the most WCR compliant. A WhistleFrost child found at the Moonpool the day after it was purified. The voice she hears in her head is her Nana Curlfeather arguing with other Dark Forest spirits. Is this Moonpaw going to be a hero? Maybe, maybe not. Multi-Med Cat Arc 9 AU.
Any more canon compliance and I'd make her a corrupted Ashfur/Bristlefrost fusion through Thriftear calling Queen's Rights after her journey during Thriftear's Heart. The Bristlefrost reincarnation absorbed the Ashfur reincarnation to create Moonpaw! She would carry pieces of their memories/personalities inside her, struggling with that, and with her deep connection to the Moonpool that she is growing more and more obsessed with... Reincarnation Arc 9 AU
But... All in all, I'm glad we have such a unique looking Protagonist. I still don't trust the writers, but I'm gonna give them a single point for going absolutely BONKERS with her design in ways that would make 2011 fans whine and scream. Keep going, give these kitties weird features!

So her family basically cries over her every night but she is allowed to leave to a different clan for a sister she barely knew and a father she never knew over something that her family had nothing to do with? Like that sounds like a major bitch move.
Honeyfur and Larksong missed her, but they also knew she never wanted to be in Thunderclan. Snowbush is saddened, but the sad you get when your first born kid leaves home. You wish them well, then go home and cry a bit. He know he will see her again. Lilyheart, Canonically, was incredibly upset when she left. Lilyheart wears her heart on her sleeve. She also misses Violetshine despite the fact she didn't have her for long.
Also, in WCR, Violetshine and Skybranch bond WAY more. Their relationship is stronger. They tind things together. Skybranch nearly stays in Thunderclan, but at the end of the day, she choses her sister, who did not get a loving happy family. Who needs her. Who has shared with her at least a single goal since Onestar and Bramblestar split them up. Get Back To Each Other.
So no, I don't think it is a 'bitch move', I think Thunderclan and Shadowclan/Windclan separating the kittens and thrusting their care onto 2 teenagers while they wave them around like trophies was a bitch move.
