Skyblock 2.1, though it's a map from a long time ago, it still holds a special place in our hearts with the droppers, grids, and all. If this map were to become infinite like The End, I wonder how it would look.

What would you genuinely put as the mechanic for the next life series if it was up to you?

reverse boogeyman. every session 1-2 players are randomly selected to be the “hunted” to which they’ll be periodically inflicted with the weakness effect. it is up this person’s allies and also running/self defense capabilities as to whether they’ll survive once the particles inevitably rat them out to a lucky witness. killing the Hunted is both the server wide social expectation + potentially incentivized through some kind of reward but I’d like to keep things simple. Also if it were truly up to me I’d make dying as the Hunted permadeath.
