28: What type of music do you like?

I actually don’t have a set style of music that I like, or a particular artist that I follow. I listen a lot to musical pieces without lyrics when I need to work, but I also like to listen to songs on the radio. Skyradio usually plays a lot of pop songs (and FINALLY no more Christmas music), so I guess pop is neat?

Drie grote partijen in de media

Mark Zuckerberg

De invloed van social media kanalen op de wereld wordt steeds groter. Op dit moment zijn Instagram, Whatsapp, Facebook en Twitter de meest gebruikte kanalen. Het opmerkelijke is dat drie van deze kanalen tegenwoordig van de zelfde eigenaar genaamd Mark Zuckerberg. Hij is in 2004 begonnen met Facebook en dit is in de loop der jaren enorm gegroeid. Uiteindelijk heeft hij meerdere netwerken overgenomen, waaronder dus ook Instagram en Whatsapp. Het wereldwijd aantal maandelijks actieve gebruikers op Facebook is op dit moment 2,23 miljard. Met het grote imperium van Mark Zuckerberg heeft hij enorm veel invloed op de media over de hele wereld. 

John de Mol 

In het Nederlandse medialandschap heeft John de Mol veel macht. Hij bezit een groot gedeelte van de Nederlandse televisieprogrammas en mediabedrijven. Zijn bedrijf heet Talpa Network, hieronder vallen onder andere de zenders SBS, NET 5 en Veronica. Naast Televisiezenders bezit hij de radiozenders Skyradio, 538 en radio10. Ook breidt hij zijn bedrijf momenteel uit van televisie en radio naar online netwerken en heeft hij plannen om zijn imperium te blijven uitbreiden. Naast succesvolle zenders en omroepen is hij de ontwikkelaar van wereldberoemde televisieprogramma’s als The Voice en Big Brother. 

Alphabet - Google

De allergrootste mediamagnaat op deze wereld is nog steeds Google. Facebook komt in de buurt, maar een hoop invloed en het grootste kapitaal ligt in handen van Alphabet, het bedrijf dat de eigenaar is van Google. Zij bezitten naast Google ook Youtube, Youtube is net als Facebook een van de grootste platforms die door enorme aantallen mensen dagelijks wordt gebruikt.

god that stupid song about small town america with the dude who’s returning home and who ran from his brother and broke his arm or whatever, that song, that song, has been playing on the radio EVERY Wednesday evening for the past 10 weeks (the same with that girl power you’re perfect as you are song, but that one annoys me less). skyradio, mix up your playlists please, if i have to hear that song again i’m going to throw something
