I wonder if humans and demons in Obey Me! might have different taste receptors and experience taste slightly differently. Not for all things, but for really random stuff, like how some people irl enjoy cilantro and others think it tastes like soap.

the thing that's really beautiful is that ed is literally leia (brilliant tactician, relies on planning and skill to succeed, is new to succumbing to emotion) and stede is literally han (just really fucking lucky with a little skill sprinkled in + loverboy supreme). an “i love you” “i know” moment could not have been better repeated by two other characters
