“I got you something,” Slade said, finally dragging his eye away from Jason’s thighs, and grabbing a small parcel off the sideboard. “It’s nothing big.”

Jason flushed, giddy, and unwrapped the brown paper carefully. A ring box sat in his hand, and when he opened it, two shining cufflinks rested on the tiny velvet square. His breath stuttered out of him. “Fuck. They’re…”

Slade shrugged. “Can’t have you going without them. Outfit wouldn’t be complete.” He took the box and fixed the cufflinks into Jason’s button holes. “Now, you’re ready.”

Jason’s heart was a hummingbird in his chest. He was pretty sure what he was now wearing were actual diamonds. He stared at them and swallowed. He certainly wasn’t terrified of losing them. Nope. Not at all.

He fixed his cuffs carefully, and held his arms out, spinning slowly, for approval. “So?”

“You look like a treat that I wish I didn’t have to wait until later to unwrap.”

He flushed and stared down at his shoes, wishing he didn’t blush so goddamn easy. He never had before. He gave up waiting for it to fade and said, “You’re not looking so bad yourself, old man."

after rewatching the idol im realising it's actually a 10/10 show even better than the first time round by far... the last two episodes are so fucking funny and the weeknd is brilliant . cant wait for it to become a true cult classic and for everyone to stupidly backpedal on their current allergy to greatness

Like yeah yeah what she did was a really terrible thing but, to be a true unsavory, she had to go beyond what was allowed. And honestly, it was genius because the thunderhead quite literally could not intervene

I kinda wish we got a similar scene to scythe rand meeting up with the tyger hologram, although it would probably just break greyson more with her "confirming" that he was a fraud
