ooh baby i think almost all of them do! it tends to be because i basically don't plan ahead At All so my initial concepts sometimes get buried under brainrot...

one more paradox - i mentioned this yesterday, but this one changed DRASTICALLY during writing! you can find the original version of that in this post (q10), and some of my personal hcs about the background lore of it in this post (q20).

thy fair imperfect shade - poor elliott tries very, very hard (hehe) to not impose on sunshine, and his morality crisis was a lot of fun to think about, but i like to imagine that there's an evil!elliott AU out there where he gives in to his fantasies completely and purposely dream-seduces sunshine into being with him...

(...wait, isn't that basically just canon blake? if by some miracle he's tuesday's BA and he does this then i am a genius)

take a sip - [head in hands] i'll be totally honest - they were going to fuck right there in the classroom but i was too much of a coward to write it in 😭 GAVIN WOULD!! he would and i won't apologise for it!! also, freelancer was meant to tip the drink down his front and get him all sticky (to facilitate all kinds of, uh... let's just say licking) but then i couldn't have them skip away still sluuuuuuurping on it, and i really wanted that to be a neat little ending, so alas - it was not meant to be. i've mentioned gavin's penchant for suspiciously-cream-coloured drinks before, and i toyed with the idea of giving freelancer one of those instead of something pink, but eventually i decided that it felt a bit too on-the-nose and was better off as a little bonus detail at the beginning. fun fact: i like to think that the barista who does the wednesday afternoon shift is someone we know like elliott or honey, but don't quote me on that. i know i said that DAMN polycule is implied but not necessary, but i do think that the polycule is a thing in that universe, mostly because a) i want them all to be happy and in love, and b) the, um, diplomatic incident is much more exciting when there's kissing involved.

body contact - full disclosure: the idea of the special couples' valentine's day dance was not in the original plan at all! i put in the line about mammon mentioning "something about a particular dance that everyone is supposed to do in pairs" as just a throwaway excuse for why barbatos might be at the ball as a guest, but it spiralled into a much more exciting concept as i tried to figure out why he might ask MC to dance.

wonderland - the tea party and the final goodbye on the doorstep were last minute additions because i thought it was too short, and it was supposed to fade to black with some sort of flowery happily-ever-after in the hedge maze that they walk past. reading it back, though, it was such a lame ending that i'm so glad i changed it, especially because it meant i got to add in all those extra cute bits at the end :)

rebel flesh - MC was meant to die! like, completely! originally, the plan was for the exorcism to be successful, but MC's body had been too irrevocably changed/damaged by the possession to support itself any more - lots of horrible description of their skull cracking around where the horns break through, fingernails falling out and claws not yet grown in, muscles atrophied and degraded by a body that was starved for energy... fortunately for satan and sweet, orange-scented MC, i chickened out and gave them a slightly more hopeful ending. i imagine two possible outcomes after the end of that series though - one where MC has to learn to live with their altered, half-demon half-human body, and one where their body shuts down because it's incapable of functioning correctly any more.

23. What’s the story idea you’ve had in your head for the longest?

ooh... that's a good one! i'm actually in the process of fulfilling my dreams of a cute swing-dance inspired little something (that's the milo wip that's giving me grief atm), which i've wanted to do for AGES but i've never quite found the right pairing or scenario, so that would probably be the one. they're kind of cheesy, and will probably never happen, but i've also always wanted to write either about soulmates (like, red string of fate type thing), fantasy/fairytale aus (like ivory tower but with an actual original story instead of a retelling of canon) or weddings - unfortunately, i don't think my worldbuilding skills are quite ready for the first two, and the details that i would want to include if i were writing about a wedding don't really fit with the whole keep-the-reader-really-neutral thing... i'd want to describe the clothes and the food and the location and the ceremony, all those sort of things, and that's so variable from person to person and culture to culture that i don't think i'd ever be able to make it work without being so vague that i may as well not bother :(

24. Would you say your writing has changed over time?

YES, because it's not quite as cringe as it used to be lmao - look, if you go back and read net zero (let's face it, you probably shouldn't), you can see that my writing style hasn't changed enormously, but it's certainly developed over time! i still like a lot of the same concepts and themes, and the general rhythm is much the same, but i think it's got a bit more refined and a bit less pretentious as i've written more and more. tbh i don't pay a huge amount of attention to cultivating a specific style - i just kind of throw words at the google doc and hope they stick? so it's cool to see how it has and hasn't changed ✌

Let’s wait for a bit, ‘kay?”

You nod.

“...Ah. Sayーー It’s not really to kill time or anythin’ but...There’s actually been somethin’ I wanted to ask yer opinion on...Something I’ve been wantin’ to ask.”

You tilt your head to the side.

“Yeah. Would ya...consider leavin’ Eden together with me?”

You seem surprised by his sudden question.

“Ah, don’t get the wrong idea! I don’t dislike livin’ together with Ruki and the others or anythin’...Honestly, I’d even dare say that my life up till now has been so comfortable ‘cause those dudes were there for me as well. Ever since Ruki has been put in charge of Eden, I’ve been itchin’ to help him out in whichever way I can. So even if we leave this place, I wouldn’t go too far. ...We’d just be movin’ to some place which allows us to come runnin’ back to them whenever we feel like it. To...live with just the two of us, get it?”

You ask how long he has been thinking about moving. 

“Ugh...This has actually been on my mind forever but...So much things happened, I just couldn’t find the time to bring it up or ratherーー It just wasn’t the right moment, right? Things have finally calmed down here at Eden, We’re no longer bein’ pestered by other species either. I figured that right now it wouldn’t hurt to start thinkin’ ‘bout our life together.”

You nod.

“If you prefer things as they are right now, that’s fine too. But in the end...You really are a special woman to me. That’s not ‘cause you are Eve either. ...Even if you were to lose that title, I don’t think I’d still be able to leave your side. ...Heh. GAMING NEWS

We got the CG portion of Yukiyamore for like a week. So yeah. That’s over and done with. In terms of events still going on, we have a new collection event, A Kiss in the Rain, and a brand new spin-off, The Nobility.ANIME EXPOSo we have two more pieces of info for Solmare’s booth at Anime Expo. They announced they’ll be demo-ing their new RPG in the Moe! Ninja Girls series at AX, so I guess there’s hope to get some more content of the other Shall We Date? games.They also said they’ll have a little booth where you can take a picture with one of the characters from Obey Me!, so I’m guessing it’ll be like. A cardboard cut-out, kind of like the ones Bushiroad. I think it’s Bushiroad or Klab... always have for Love Live! But anyway, they did finish off this second post saying “Visit us at AX to see who shows up!” so I kinda wonder if they’ll have other cut-outs to take pictures with. I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

In fandom news, @whevents is holding a telephone game right now with writers and artists! Sign-ups are closed, but the event is well under way with everyone participating working on their parts, so that’s something to look forward to.

CALL AND RESPONSE

So, I thought of this new segment, and I thought it over for 3 seconds and decided that it was a great idea, so we're just gonna go for it. Um, this is Call and Response. So basically, I will post a prompt, or like a question, or something, on Twitter or Tumblr, and ask you guys to respond to it and then I'll... go off-script and read the responses on the podcast and um... I really did not think this through and I did not realize what I was doing as you guys will find out 'cause I have re- like, I've read the responses so I know what you guys have said, um, I didn't think some of this was gonna happen, so... *laughing* I really... In hindsight, I really should have, considering... like, considering I'm friends with a lot of you guys so I really should've, you know, seen this coming, but I did not because I'm oblivious and I'm a fool and naive. And also I can't hold my microphone right right now. Anyway um... The initial post I made said "give me hilarious and overly specific wizardess heart-themed asmr ideas it’s for science i mean the podcast." 

So the first response I'm gonna read is from someone I considered a dear friend of mine, @nadia-the-wizardess, and this is someone who I love very much, and somebody I thought I could trust *laughing* and... she said, "Asmr idea? How about Sigurd slurping on them noodles." And... I don't like that.... I don't like that at all. I thought we were friends and I thought I could trust you, but clearly not. And clearly I couldn't trust other people like you because someone else said something spaghetti-themed *giggling* And anyway, this was a bad segment idea, we're never doing this again *laugh* No, we probably will, 'cause I'll be like, "Oh, this will be fine," and then alksjdfh you know, it falls apart.

So, somebody who decided to be normal and not make a fetish joke, put in... this is user @dandelionpaint on tumblr, "You are in the school's library at very busy hour. Every once in a while you can hear smack on the head, someone saying "ow" and different person saying "you cant do that"/"stop saying that"/"ugh"/"you are such a pain in the ass"" and honestly? I kin tha- I kin this. I kin that response. I would actually love to hear that, that would be pretty funny.

So the next response is from another person I considered a dear friend of mine who betrayed me so terribly. And *laughing* said... *inhale* God. This was the worst idea to start the segment off. So @sigurdcurtisholdsmegentle said, "You in the dining hall. Sigurd is there. You can hear him slurping his pasta. A never ending bowl of pasta. Just. Sluuuuuuurp." So many of my friends today have betrayed me. I have done nothing wrong ever in my life before, and it hurts *giggling* Okay.

Next response is from @swagmura, who says, um, "Klaus drinking tea with 47 sugar cubes" and then in the tags, "the spoon clinking against the cup as he stirs" and then "#god i love him" and I feel this and honestly I think I would actually listen to this, I'm not gonna lie. I don't like tea, but I'm like, that would be like, a soothing sound. Although the 47 sugar cubes is a little concerning, but I mean... eh, yolo, right?

Um, @theinvisiblefriend-blog suggested a few. And she said, "Randy eating candy. Unwrapping the candy. Chewing the candy. Vincent and Glenn sharpening their knives" ... sharpening their knives their BLADES  "before practicing swordfighting." I can't read even if something is right in front of me. Is anyone surprised at this point? And then the last one is, "Or Leslie cutting loose with some archery practice." Now that one would be super, like, therapeutic, and stuff. I would like that one.

Boku no Hero Academia Chapter 192 - The Todoroki Household

Yet another adorable Todo-moments for me to talk about! A fair warning that if you are strongly against Endeavour’s redemption, then this is probably not the type of content for you.

Everything here is purely based on my own opinions, no unkind words please. Again, if you don’t like what’s discussed here, please don’t read it.

With that, let’s dive in to a world of Todo-cuteness (and Endeavor’s atonement)!

Sounds like even Recovery Girl is a little reluctant to visit Endeavour haha! And she is offering him candy HAHAHAHAHA. It would be even funnier if the head of the Pez candy she is holding is Endeavour’s XD

Endeavour with flames on his face and hair makes him look a lot more... mild...

But he is quite a handsome fellow so I can see where Todo gets his looks from

As much as I am all for Endeavour’s redemption, this panel hurts my heart. Not knowing your sibling’s basic information such as favourite food until what... 15... 16 years later? That, receiving no attention while growing up and being considered a failure are something that can’t be healed in a single day and few words. And sometimes, it might not heal completely.

Ah- and, little Todo is back to his slurping

This page essentially sums up the fact that conflicts can’t be resolved without grudges or bitter feelings left behind.

And also, so the last Todoroki sibling is called Touya huh... and is the eldest of all? Should we change the fan theory tag of ‘Dabi is a Todoroki’ to ‘Dabi is Touya’? Haha. (Dabi don’t look like a Touya though, not with that scar)

Endeavour, I, for one, am gonna say that facing your past and atonement will not be easy. In the worse case scenario, your children might completely give up on you, but it doesn’t seem to be the case here. Consider this a warning from someone who pretty much grew up emotionally neglected.

MEMES EXISTS IN THE BNHA WORLD, GUYS!

My guess is that this is where the mixed feelings come in? When Shouto was young and forced to train, he sees Eiji as ‘Dad’ and not ‘The Hero Endeavour.’ So he grew up seeing Eiji as the scary, abusive Dad. But now, seeing Endeavour, the number one hero at work, the fact is that he is a good hero to the public but a bad father to the eyes of the Todoroki family, it is bound to have some mixed feelings...

Also, what inspiration did Todoroki get? Was it from Midoriya or his mother’s?

And... he is back to slurping again hahaha.

When you are not at the top of position, such as the Number 1 hero in this case(or like a leadership position in real life), that role might seem like an easy job. But once the job is passed on to you,

you will come to see that it is actually not as easy as you may have thought.
