HEY DC X DP FANS
REMEMBER CALCULATOR??? THE CALCULATOR? Whatever the fuck his nerdy ass name was???
He like, was the villain equivalent of oracle in dc-online. And he’s like a character that I don’t think dc really uses often… (Yes I still play that- shut up)
Yeah, anyways-
Boom, make him Tucker. Or make Tucker him??
Tucker = The Calculator
Get it? Got it? Good.
then do whatever the fuck with that. Like- Danny could be a villain in training (dc-online story arc???)
Or maybe no one else knows, and then the bats find out and Tucker freaks the hell out
Or I dunno- Danny is a “villain” (but in the fun way, not so murderous) and ends up being recruited as one of the villain mentors (yknow; Lex, Joker, Circe)
(Since each is a counter to a hero; Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman. What if Danny’s the counter to another hero? Or even the counter to the entire Justice League Dark. I think it’d be pretty funny if he’s the counter to Flash or something)
And now he’s gotta mentor a bunch of villains-in-training who literally busted out of test tubes and have no memories from before… and god hes just adopting kids isn’t he?
maybe somehow Klarions here, too.
I rambled in the tags a lil bit btw…

Note
When I was younger I loved Batman and Superman equally but DC's favoritism towards Batman has completely turned me off from the character and their treatment of Superman frustrates me to no end because he has so much potential if the writer's would stop trying to creatively handicappe the character
Ah,  the naiveté of youth...
I also enjoyed their friendship. I also believed Batso belonged to the same league as all the superpowerful. We were so innocent.
Then, the questions began...
Even though I think there is some utility for a human in the Justice League, having Batso or Black Canary in the front lines of an alien invasion seems exaggerated. Against an enemy hundreds of times superior, the best they can do is (ah-ah-ah-ah) staying alive. They can be useful infiltrating enemy lines, planting a bomb, stealth operations and things like that, because the foe will pay little attention to them or dismiss them as harmless.
You can shout to them: “But Batso is the most dangerous man in the World!” to which they would look at each other and explode in laughter. And there is where a human comes in handy.
When you put a human at the same level as a super, even making the human overpowering the meta because of his/her ingenuity, you inevitably are damaging the super, because it’s not as powerful as you thought (the powers had been diminished ad hoc, to favor the mortal) or the meta is utterly stupid and falls for every trick the mortal puts in his path. There’s no other way.
If, on top of that, the human is your cash cow and you need to favor him/her to keep the fans happy (a happy fan is a gold mine fan), you will cross lines from which is very difficult to come back. Batso kept crossing that lines over and over and there’s no turning back from that. He’s so perfect, he survived the last reboots virtually without any modification. There’s also no turning back from the damage made to Superman, for ever under Batso’s rule, like pretty much every other superhero in the DCU.
Add to this Superman is also chained to a mortal love interest, who needs to be special even though she’s with the most special individual in the whole World, who can outsmart him on a daily basis, just to prove she’s worthy of being with the stupid alien, so you need to degrade the stupid alien to make her shine, like hiding the sun so the planets can be visible.
Not only that: his historical worst enemy is a human too!
Oh, brother...
The irony here is Superman loves the human species and it is us who ultimately are his undoing, we doomed him forever...well, not we: the humans in the comics, because the publishing company wants to make them relevant somehow, at his expense.
Superman has been condemned to a fictional life of being a dimwit, because if he shows any sign of intelligence, it would be too obvious he loses it when in company of mortals.
“What happened, man? You were articulated and smart a minute ago. Batso/Lois/Lex came into the room and you, suddenly, are a babbling idiot.”
Too evident, huh?
There is too little you can do with such limitations. If you won’t let him evolve into his full potential, even those who really love the character will say “enough is enough” and abandon ship, looking for more suitable and fair entertainment.
