the finnpoe parts of the rise of skywalker are some of the only actually enjoyable parts of that movie

oscar and john were supposedly playing it as boyfriends arguing with each other and if you watch it like that, it's actually fun and the dynamics between Finn and Poe (and subsequently, Poe and Rey) suddenly make a lot more sense

so far i did a load of laundry, i ran the dishwasher, finally went through my closet, cross stitched, got to watch three episodes of black clover, and now i'm going to do some beta reading for an hour and then do another load of laundry

#tradlife #tradwife #tradblr #catholic #traditional gender roles #slow living #homemaker #homemaking #cozy aesthetic #cozycore #cottagecore #talked with my boyfriend about getting engaged the other day #he wants to wait a bit until hes closer to finishing up with the military and me finishing up my masters #he said he was a little envious of a colleague who brought in their little kid into work #not in like a bad way but in a 'aw i want one' sort of way #we've talked about being parents and how great our little family would be and how well we could share what we know #we're both unique and he can help with sports and outside work and i can teach them music and cooking and homemaking #and he joked he can teach the boys how to make edible food lol #which i said no one is escaping the kitchen. everyone is going to at least know the basics of cooking because its a skill #and maybe our future boys will need to help their wives someday or at least when they're bachelors #but i cant wait #i am a professional violinist and music teacher so when i say i can teach them music im quite serious #im going into violin/viola performance for my masters #and i could sing professionally but im fine with just cantoring for church #they appreciate it #i have to wait at least two years to get married to finish my masters but i am really looking forward to having a family #maybe we can have a family right away too #thats be nice #just really looking forward to the future #just gotta make it through grad school

covid precautions: smoking fat dabs all day so you hack up everything in your lungs before anything can get in there

#i do it to clear my sinuses quite often actually lol especially recently bc of allergies #weed affects me so much differently than most people it's weird #i mean i definitely get a high from it but it makes me more clear-headed and helps with my anxiety #(doesn't help with the adhd)#it's the only way i can eat bc my stomach and appetite have been ruined by 12 years of multiple medications #i can go out and do anything and interact with anybody after smoking an amount of weed that would make someone else see Shadow People #i think one of the reasons it affects me differently is bc my body lacks the enzyme to break down thc from edibles #i've tried 800mg thc in a chocolate bar once and it did nothing. which like if you smoked an entire gram of wax at once.#50mg from the same chocolate made my mom so high she was scared.#so yeah i guess it just hits me differently #maybe it's because my mom smoked weed when she was pregnant with me?#actually that would kinda make sense ngl #.bdo

In the Familiar AU, Dipper and Mabel basically grew up with Stan - and experienced the cooking skills thereof. When faced with choosing a life of glitter in his digestive tract, or earnest but burnt waffles, Dipper figured he might as well learn to cook. He's not winning any culinary awards or anything, but he can follow a recipe and make a decent pasta dish.

Besides. The alternative to Dipper cooking for Bill - is Bill cooking for Dipper. And since Bill's idea of delicacies involve terms like 'unholy abomination', 'unbearably spicy', or 'still squirming', Dipper's more likely than not to shove him out of the kitchen.

They mostly get lot of takeout.

#answers #Technically Bill's the more *skilled* cook. He's super old and eternally knowledgeable and all #Seen everything and learned so much. Probably would watch British Bakeoff while really drunk and make rude commentary #In theory he could make incredible human-edible meals - but where's the fun in that??? They're so BORING #He likes to get Experimental instead!#Good thing Dipper's experienced with less than optimal cooking. He's got a strong stomach #Mostly Bill's uninterested in cooking. When he *does* cook it's best not to ingest the contents unless you're feeling really lucky #So mostly Dipper doesn't #Bill may not *intentionally* poison Dipper - but he's risk-averse #Seriously there's a lot of microwave meals and takeout for these two #Dipper's not gonna spend time to cook when he could be doing other things. Something he takes after Ford in #The upside of Bill having very - shall we say - *expansive* tastes in his dining is that even when Dipper messes up a recipe #Bill eats it without complaint. Maybe some mockery! But not like.
