OK SO EPISODE 11: TRAUMA GOT ME LOSING MY MIND TONIGHT READ BELOW TO SEE MY THOUGHTS
Shou and touichiro seemed pretty much the same except for two things. 1) touichiro's vision of Shou and his wife which was just... So good... The way that the coloring paralleled his vision of his wife in season 2 has me 😭 2) the other one I noticed was the double charge bomb they did together. This could have been in the manga and I just didn't remember it, but I'm pretty sure that's anime original and I am LIVING for it. Shou's trump card which he originally used to try and bring down his dad is now being used in tandem with his dad to help someone. It's so so good. (What's NOT so good is Shou's outfit, why is bones so determined to slander his sense of fashion?? But that's a post for another day lol)
(for an episode titled "trauma" it was rather hopeful in the end. Wonder if that has any sort of thematic meaning)
first, all the changes. I really adored all the build up they gave ritsu. His arrival was a bit abrupt in the manga, and I will forever love bones for not only having ritsu find the crash sight, but also find and take care of Teru. Literally yesterday I was thinking about how sad it is that Teru just gets left naked and hurt in the middle of the road, so that was very very nice.
Back to more Ritsu changes since I'm following the episode's progression of scenes! I really miss the "man this is overkill" line. I know it doesn't fit the tone but it was just really funny ok?
Tumblr media
But for some bigger changes, I noticed they took out the rhubarb wire that Ritsu saved a body improvement club member from. Which is interesting, I wonder if that's because of change of setting or censorship concerns.
Tumblr media
They also took out a lot of the implications of Ritsu's plan later in the fight. In the anime, he said something along the lines of "a big shock might stop nii-san" whereas in the manga...
Tumblr media
Yeah, he basically flat out says "maybe if I get hurt nii-san will snap out of it" which hoooo boy sure is a line of dialogue.
The final change I noticed was between the two "Mob" and "Shigeo", mainly in the art. I LOVE how they're doing it, with Shigeo being a blank white outline and Mob having blue lineart. It really helps differentiate them and make them pop. Super cool.
Now, do I miss some of the manga content and am I sad to see it go? Yes. But did bones do an utterly incredible job at adapting this? YES!!! so even if i don't like some of the changes, I like some of the other changes, and I love it overall.
As for overall hype:
OH MY GOSH 100% RITSU IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS MOMENT AND BOY DID IT DELIVER I AM FROTHING AT THE MOUTH I LOVE THIS I LOVE THIS I LOVE THIS
Also all of the parallels to previous things like having their fight on the bridge where mogami world Ritsu ignored him is spectacular. And the whole "I'm your little brother so let me help you" paralleling mobs "in your older brother, so I have to take care of you". And the music being the same as their original fight in the alleyway. I can't even...
SHOU CONTENT!!!! YES!!!! I CANNOT EVEN BEGIN TO DESCRIBE HOW HYPED I AM TO SEE MY BELOVED
Studio bones really just adores the super five huh? Hatori is still here lol and Joseph too
REIGEN AND SERIZAWA JUST SPRINTING PAST THE POLICE AKFJSKFKR YES THAT WAS SO GOOD
Tsubomi please move out of the way of the active tornado this is not a safe place my girl (and what an interesting character choice for her to wait, Tsubomi is such an enigma in all the best ways)
Oh rip to sakuri and koyama, you did your best. (Side note, imagine your ex CEO falling from the sky to duke it out with a magic middle schooler who just destroyed your workplace. Seasoning city is so wild lol)
Random side characters getting one frame my beloved! Minori moment!! Tokugawa and Shinji moment!!
In conclusion, episode 11 makes me lose my marbles and it was 100% worth the wait!

I remembered your fic updated today and the realization the next chapter was supposed to be posted made my whole body jolt and I wanna say how much I love how you write characters!
I love how dramatic -and honestly quite messy- Ritsu is in your fic along with his more book-smarts intelligence but also his flaws too. I also love how Shou is more emotionally intelligent too, taking into account how other people might feel (in this specific situation, how Teru might feel…) and goes to do the proper move to break up with Teru. It shows how caring Shou can be for other people and I think is a lovely way to characterize such a fiery character otherwise.
I’m very, very excited for the last chapters (especially with Mob/Shigeo and Teru) and would love to learn how you write down their personalities and the way the characters in the fic talk! I struggle quite a bit with making more distinctions between the way characters in my own stuff talk and it makes me quite bummed that I could never represent it right…
AAAAA thank you so much!! This message totally made my night <3 i like writing ritsu as someone very stuck in his own conclusions—in this case he doesn’t know about the bond Teru and Shou have so doesn’t really understand why it’s so important to Shou to do the right thing here, especially since he’s so busy trying to sort out his own silly little feelings. I think ritsu isn’t super emotionally aware (think his conclusions towards his brother during the big cleanup arc) especially about his own feelings, and tries too hard to logic it out—and his own logic convinces him he couldn’t possibly be wrong which makes him stubborn. He’s also a results-centered guy and struggles with communication (doesn’t get why the gesture of asking for something is important when the person is going to do it anyway). The most 13 year old ever has matured into the most 16 year old ever, basically. And shou my beloved!! I think he’s really such a caring person despite being pretty brash and forward. We really see him pushed to his extremes in canon but despite it all he still shows care for his dad, shigeo, ritsu…I think he’s enjoying the opportunity to be compassionate now that he’s not in constant “ends justify the means” mode.
I dont really have a concrete set of rules when it comes to characterization…I mostly try to read the dialogue in a character’s voice and see if it feels right. It probably helps that I’ve watched mob psycho through at least three times. Word choice is important, sure, but I think you should pay just as much attention to the pacing and punctuation of sentences when writing as a character. Mob speaks slowly, pauses often. Where other characters have a comma, I’ll use a full stop for him. For the general internal monologue of characters, I try to get in their heads and think about how they see the world. For shou, I use a lot of metaphor and turns of phrase. He’s pretty informal, and I let him swear more often. His dialogue and his internal monologue match because he doesn’t really hide who he is, whereas Teru often thinks things that go unsaid and might even contradict his own internal monologue.
Sorry for the novel of an answer! I can tell you you’re actually probably doing a better job than you think, because often were our own biggest critics. I don’t think I’m very good at character voices sometimes! Practice makes perfect and I’ve written a lot of fanfiction in my time, so don’t give up and keep working on it.

The Irony of Life (MP100|One-Shot| Fan-Fic Commission)
A short SeriRei one-shot that was commissioned
In which Reigen reflects on his 15 year old mindset and realizes just how wrong he was.
———————————————
When Reigen was 15 years old he accepted the fact that he was never going to have kids even if he wanted to. With a single glance to his parents, he doubted he would be any better than them and no child deserved a fate like that.
Yet irony had a way of creeping into his life and taking away his choice, because by the time he was 30 he somehow amassed an army of children who all looked up to him and visited him often, none of which were related to him in any way.
It had all started with one kid and just ended up snowballing into more and more children before he could even try to stop it. Half of the pictures he has on his clipboard in the office have turned into photos of him and the kids on outings; the time Teru and the Kageyama brothers joined them on their trip to the hot springs, his birthday party with all of them, Ritsu getting thanked by his first client, Rei doing a fortune telling, and so on and so forth.
He hates to say it, but it’s starting to look like a mother’s scrapbook and he is neither a mother nor in possession of an actual scrapbook (though he has considered investing in one at this rate). And although Mob doesn’t visit the office often anymore, too busy focusing more on his studies and the Body Improvement Club, he accidentally ended up sending more kids his way to replace him.
More specifically in the form of a bunch of rather loud girls that Tome dragged in hardly with his approval and his office had turned into their hangout spot (much to his dismay when he is trying to work).
Even now, at the end of the work day, they lay sprawled all over the couch and chairs talking and laughing away as if he hadn't already turned off most of the lights and locked the windows in a subtle way to tell them to get up already.
Most days Reigen was left alone like this– given that Serizawa typically heads off early for night school– however today was a lucky day and he didn’t have classes which is a godsend since Serizawa is much better with kids than Reigen.
“Come on, girls. Pack up, we are closing soon.” Serizawa’s voice snapped the girls out of their conversation much faster than his ever would, it was a perfect mix of a stern yet gentle demand that sounded much more like a suggestion making it much more appealing to listen to.
With a ‘tsk’ Reigen looked over to chime in:
“We are closed,” he sneered before snapping the blinds to the windows shut.
Imminent whines traveled from the girls.
“Come on, just a couple more minutes!” one of them pleaded dramatically. It was almost enough to make Reigen roll his eyes.
“Do you want to be locked in the office?”
“Cool! Like a sleepover!”
“No, no sleepovers in my office.”
Tome leaps up, a tale tell sign she has an idea
“What if you give me the keys?! I can lock up after we all decide to leave or we stay the night!”
“Absolutely not.” He doesn’t even need to think about that one
“What!? Why?! I'm super reliable?”
A smirk crept on Reigen’s face.
“Ah yes, like that time you got lost in the cursed woods, or the time Dimple had to possessed you and punch your teacher, or that time you assaulted one of our clients, or when you-”
“Fine, fine I get it!” the girls were giggling and Tome’s face had turned a bright shade of pink as she slumped in defeat.
Before he could say much else Serizawa stepped in once again,
“How about this: Tomorrow we have a case down at Cape Cop Avenue, if we head off now you can tag along for it.”
The girls cheered, accidently having adopted Tome’s curiosity for ghosts and other such creatures. With their minds satisfied somewhat with the idea of a new activity they began to gather their bags and the homework they hadn't even touched the entire time at the office.
Usually Reigen would scold Serizawa for promising something like that, but the location was an apartment complex that Serizawa had scouted yesterday and as expected there weren’t actually any ghosts there. The scariest thing at the apartment complex was their plumbing system.
Regardless, Serizawa would be sure to give them a show (thank god none of them were espers).
It wasn’t long until they all began piling out. Somehow it has become a habit for Reigen to walk the girls home and tonight was no exception, the only difference being that Serizawa decided to join them.
The first destination was for Mika who lived only 3 blocks down from Reigen’s office, she gave an enthusiastic wave goodbye and promised to take a bunch of pictures tomorrow (even though Reigen tried explaining it would be hard to capture a ghost on camera).
Up next was their tall friend whose name Reigen hasn’t caught just yet. She seemed to stare a lot at them when they worked and doodle them but she was the politest of the bunch so Reigen didn’t mind her all that much.
Then Tome, who groaned loudly as Keiko reminded her of the homework due tomorrow before sulking back into her house with a small wave. Misa lives just two houses down from Tome and jogged ahead since she forgot about the homework too.
And then last but not least Keiko who without the company of her friends becomes rather bashful and shy only uttering small ‘thank you’s’ and ‘good night’s’ as she scurries into her house.
With the girls all safely in their houses Reigen without meaning to let out a soft sigh as he stretched, finally allowing himself to relax away from the kids. Usually he’d keep on his facade for Serizawa but lately that illusion has been melting away and luckily, it’s been mutual.
Serizawa has begun to relax too around him, being more confident and even being so bold as to tease him. They had also begun to work fluidly with each other, understanding what the other needed or wanted with simple quick glances and they practically danced around each other in their morning routines. Reigen even trusted him enough to give him copies of the keys to the office, it was nice to have someone to lean on when you needed it.
Neither of them said a word but they both began walking in the same direction. Serizawa lived just a bit further from Reigen in a different and better apartment complex than his so it made sense they were sticking together.
Nights like these were rare but appreciated, his whole life Reigen has always felt like he was supposed to be running just to catch up; but walking like this alongside someone you trust and care about is nice. It makes him feel like he can finally walk instead of run, like there is no rush.
And Serizawa is a good person and perfect company, initially Reigen assumed they didn’t have much in common but as time has moved on it turned out they do and they frequently found themselves talking each other's ear off. Mostly Reigen more than Serizawa but it’s a mutual exchange at least.
Though right now they seem to appreciate the silence, the girls were a nice change to have in the office but they also tend to drain the two of their energy with how loud and energetic they get, not to mention the trouble and danger they seem to like to get into. The thought alone is already giving Reigen a headache.
“Reigen?” With the sound of his name, he snaps out of it quickly, looking up to Serizawa only letting out a small ‘hm’ of acknowledgement.
Reigen catches the brief moment Serizawa was looking at him before staring forward instead.
“I know we’ve been busy lately but I was wondering if you would like to join me tomorrow for dinner at my place?”
Now that was extra new, Reigen has never been over to Serizawa’s apartment. Something about it felt a bit too personal, maybe it's because he hasn’t been over to a friend's place since he was in middle school nor has he had guests over willingly at his own apartment.
“What’s the occasion?”
The question makes Serizawa visibly tense, although the man has become more confident in himself, he finds moments like these where he still falters in his choices.
“Oh! Uh well I just um thought it would be nice to have some company over you know, I wanted to try out this new recipe and I thought it would be nice to have another taste tester and well I’m also trying to get used to having more people over at my place and I-”
Before he could go on another list of excuses Reigen interrupts,
“Sure, sounds nice. It’s been a while since I had a home cooked meal anyways.”
The response seemed to calm him down, his shoulders untensing and letting out a not so subtle sigh of relief.
As casual as Reigen is trying to act though he could feel his heart hammering in his chest in excitement. Every time he’s tried to have a moment alone with Serizawa one of them has always been either busy or with other plans so it would be great to finally have time.
But Reigen isn't an idiot, he knows exactly why he’s excited for this. He’s noticed how things between them have changed recently and perhaps it’s wishful thinking but he’s noticed from Serizawa too, when his gaze lingers, when he relaxes into soft touches, and the change of his mood from around his friends as opposed to him.
Along with this came a new tension, and not the kind where you want to murder each other or fuck, no it was something different. It was the kind of tension where both parties are trying to read each other and think they know what the other is thinking but they don’t want to make any unwarranted assumptions.
Reigens always been great at reading people, and usually he wouldn’t doubt himself but this is different in many ways. Serizawa is not only a friend but an employee, and he’s being reintroduced to the world away from all the hardships he faced and the trauma he’s brought along with him. If he is right about this, he needs to be careful.
Serizawa is perfectly capable of making his own choices but he needs to go at his own pace and to push anything onto Serizawa wouldn’t be fair.
There’s another thing Reigen had accepted when he was 15 years old, and it was that no one could ever love him for who he truly is. And that is a firm belief he’s kept, even now as Serizawa leans to be closer to him and he leans back.
But then again irony loves his company. So maybe 15-year-old Reigen could be wrong about that too.

--
When Teru wakes up early in the morning on April 13th, the apartment is silent and dark.
Like it always is.
He should be used to it. It shouldn’t bother him anymore. Most days he can pretend it doesn’t, that everything’s fine, that he’s fine, and most days he can even convince himself that it’s true.
But today’s his birthday, and the loneliness of facing another day alone weighs him down into his mattress with leaden limbs and a growing pressure behind his eyelids.
It’s mornings like this that he lets himself dwell, just for a few minutes, on what he used to have. To waking up on his birthday to smiling faces and whispered congratulations, to an extra special breakfast and the promise of yakiniku after school, to a day of happiness instead of isolation.
He almost skips school. He knows no one will even remember it’s his birthday anyway, and why should they? He’s fifteen now, way too old to care so much about something so stupid.  It shouldn’t bother him. He’s Hanazawa Teruki. He’s a straight-A student with awesome fashion sense and enough maturity to hold a part-time job on the side. How many of his peers could claim the same? Almost none of them, that’s who.
He forces himself out of bed and doesn’t bother making breakfast at all. He’ll pick up a sweet bun of some sort at a convenience store instead, maybe a coffee with extra cream. Some cake on the way home. He’d normally make it himself, but, well.
He doesn’t really have the energy to bother today.
 --
The apartment is as cold and empty as Teru’d left it, and for once he doesn’t care enough to put away his schoolbag. He leaves it on the ground, his uniform in a heap next to it instead of carefully hung in the closet, and sets the slice of cake he’d picked up at a bakery on the table.
He checks his phone for what has to be the hundredth time so far. Nothing. Of course. He shouldn’t feel so hurt by this – what did he expect, really? It’s not like his parents had remembered the year before, either.
Sorry we forgot! Happy belated birthday!
Not even a phone call. Just a six-word text two days late.
Teru almost turns off his phone entirely. He’s just riling himself up with all this pointless anticipation. Instead he compromises, setting it on the table within easy reaching distance while he queues up an old home video on his laptop.
The cake is stunning. White cream with meticulously crafted yellow and pink flowers, perfectly baked and spongy. It tastes like ash.
When his ringtone suddenly breaks the silence, Teru knocks what’s left of the cake to the ground in his haste to grab the phone. He fumbles, almost swipes in the wrong direction and breathlessly says, “Hello?” without even checking the caller ID.
“Oh, hey, Teru! It’s Reigen,” the caller says cheerily, and for the first time in his life Teru can’t stand the sound of his voice. Why him? Why did it have to be him? He knows he’s being unreasonable, unfair. He really looks up to Reigen, and normally getting calls from him is the highlight of his day.
But Reigen’s not the one Teru was hoping would be on the other end of the line.
“…able to help me out with an exorcism job today? Shouldn’t take long, but Mob was busy and couldn’t make it… Hello? Teru? Are you there?”
“I’ll be over in fifteen minutes,” Teru says, and he hangs up before Reigen can respond. It’s a little petty, but whatever. It’s his birthday, he can be petty for once if he wants to be.
 --
The office is dark when Teru walks up, and he regrets hanging up on Reigen now. He was probably supposed to meet Reigen at another location, and now he’s letting him down. All that pettiness Teru was holding onto washes away with a wave of regret. What if Reigen doesn’t call him again after this because he thinks Teru’s unreliable? Teru was acting like a kid. He’s fifteen, he should be able to control himself better. He’s still reprimanding himself as he tests the office door.
It’s unlocked.
Reigen never leaves the office unlocked when he’s out, but the lights were off. The world narrows down around him, and he pushes open the door, dread and apprehension lodging in his throat as he peers into the office ready to employ defensive measures at any moment –
“Surprise!” an assortment of voices yell, and power is already sparking at Teru’s fingertips by the time what he’s seeing registers.
Shigeo and Ritsu are standing behind Reigen’s desk where they’d been hiding. They’re both smiling with so much enthusiasm, Shigeo’s lack of reservation so refreshing and bright. Shou is lounging on the couch, grinning widely and holding what looks like an explosion of wrapping paper. Tome lets loose a party popper, sending a spray of rainbow confetti.
“Happy birthday!” she yells with a dramatic spin, snapping something off the couch and dumping it onto Teru’s head. He reaches up in a daze, touching the smooth plastic of a party hat.
Reigen and Serizawa are here too. They’re standing off to the side, both smiling at him with matching proud expressions.
“Happy birthday, Teru,” Reigen says. He holds up a box impeccably wrapped in bright paper. “I got you a present.” Teru can see tiny white scuff marks on the paper where the tape had been removed more than once, indicating a less-than-perfect start to the wrapping process. It’s just a little bit wrinkled where the paper has been refolded.
It must have taken ages to get right.
“We all did!” Shou chips in, launching himself over the back of the couch with a much more… creatively wrapped box. Teru just stares dumbly at it until Shou practically forces it into his hands. “Come on, dude, take it. It’s for you. You’d better like it.”
Outwardly, Teru recovers quickly, even as he reels internally. “You guys didn’t have to go to all this trouble,” he says, and he means it. The more he looks around, the more he realizes just how much work went into all of this. The entire office is done up with streamers, a lopsided banner hanging over the window that declares Happy Birthday Teru in painstakingly handwritten letters. There’s a homemade cake on the coffee table, unevenly cut strawberries set in a mostly-circular pattern in the frosting. It’s listing slightly to one side. It looks like the best cake Teru’s ever seen.
This was all for him. They spent all this time for him.
Teru’s phone is a deadweight in his pocket. He’s spent all day with his hand hovering near it, just in case one of his parents actually bothered to call. He’s been waiting for so long for any sign of love from them without anything, not even a text.
He slips a hand into his pocket and holds in the power button to shut it down.
 --
It’s dark outside by the time everyone goes home. Shigeo and Ritsu are the first to go, followed closely by Shou and Tome when Reigen not-so-subtly reminds her of the curfew her parents set. Serizawa’d left to get a pack of trash bags, Reigen’s meager stock having been almost immediately depleted.
“Did you have a good time?” Reigen asks as he wipes a glob of frosting off the table. Teru waves a finger and confetti flies up from the ground, spiraling neatly into the trashcan. His spare hand absently fingers the soft material of the bright green sweatshirt Reigen had gotten him. It has a big decal of a dog across the front, and if Teru’s being honest it’s not quite his style.
It’s too warm out to be wearing it, but he doesn’t really care. He doesn’t ever want to take it off.
“Yeah,” Teru says. It’s quiet now that almost everyone’s gone, and he chews the inside of his mouth nervously. “You really didn’t need to do all of this. I didn’t mean to put you all out like this.”
Reigen stares at him, almost incredulously. It melts away almost immediately into one of understanding, and he offers an only partially convincing smile. “You were alone, though, right?”
Teru freezes, and he searches Reigen’s expression for any sign of pity. He can feel the defensiveness already rising up, emotions still raw from the earlier hours of the day. “I’m used to it. It doesn’t bother me,” he says.
Reigen isn’t smiling, but he’s not pitying, either. He reaches over and pulls Teru into a loose hug, giving Teru plenty of time to back away first. Teru doesn’t resist.
“You deserve so much better,” Reigen murmurs into Teru’s hair. He tightens his hold, and after a few seconds Teru reaches up and hugs him back, fingers curling into the fabric of Reigen’s shirt.
Teru knows he’ll never stop wishing it was his parents here with him, telling him that he mattered. But he’s got Reigen, and Shigeo, and all the others, and for now that’s enough.

who do you want to be?: a love letter to mob psycho 100
Tumblr media
Coming-of-age stories are timeless. Everyone goes through a period of uncertainty, and nowhere is it more apparent than in adolescence. Like One Punch Man, ONE takes the inherent absurdity of superpowered heroes and whittles them into a good-natured comedy. Mob Psycho 100 isn’t just about psychic powers -- it’s about trying to find your place in the world, about people’s perception of “talent,” and about discovering your true potential.
The following essay will contain major spoilers for Season 1 and spoilers for Season 2, Episode 1. Please keep in mind that I’m writing this from the perspective of an anime-only viewer!
Superheroes are naturally special people. There’s a reason why they’re super, after all. Many deconstructions of superheroes have been done, but ONE characterizes his works by making his characters as ordinary as possible -- powers aside. Instead of making world catastrophes the main conflict, he chooses to focus on a smaller scale of the character’s personal world and how those powers affect their day-to-day lives.
Kageyama Shigeo (”Mob”) is an unassuming second-year middle schooler who has a complicated relationship with his psychic powers. While he’s indisputably the strongest esper on the show, he strives to suppress his powers whenever he can. As a result, he comes off as so ordinary that his presence is constantly overlooked.
And, of course, his resolve to stay ordinary will be tested again and again.
Tumblr media
It makes for a great set-up and punchline. Mob wants to be popular to impress Tsubomi, so he’s unwittingly roped into a cult. He doesn’t want to risk hurting a girl’s feelings, so he lets himself be duped by Tenga’s fake confession letter. But this formula is also what gives the show an emotional weight. After all, the line between good comedy and good drama is blurred.
The genius of Mob Psycho 100′s writing stems from this: Mob’s psychic powers are tied to his emotions. The show naturally integrates character-driven conflicts because of this. Each arc represents an emotional challenge Mob must overcome. This allows each episode to have zany, over-the-top situations ranging from smiley-faced cults to a school brawl gone wrong to a shady organization, while still maintaining its heart. It’s never just about Mob’s powers -- it’s about why he chooses to use them the way he does.
The beginning and end of each story arc is marked by Mob’s progress towards his emotional explosions. These explosions are necessary breakdowns where Mob must wrestle with a truth that threatens to turn his world upside-down. And it is through these breakdowns that we grow to sympathize with him.
Tumblr media
Through flashbacks, we learn why Mob has chosen to become a nobody. He’s terrified of hurting others and, as a result, has subconsciously compartmentalized all his emotions, positive or negative. Because of this, he is unable to take action for himself. He’s essentially a doormat, easy to sway and without a strong stance on almost anything. There isn’t much to Mob at first because he’s too afraid to express himself.
The core question of season one is “Who do you want to be?” For his entire life, Mob has suppressed his extraordinary powers at the expense of himself. Yet, at the same time, he wants to be noticed by his crush, Tsubomi. It’s a very teenage question and a very teenage problem. How do you stand out but not stand out too much? What qualities make you unique and special but not “weird?”
Through Mob’s explosions, ONE makes it clear that suppressing his powers is just as harmful as using them. You cannot ignore something that’s a part of you, regardless of whether you want it or not. Like being able to run fast, being tall, or being near-sighted, everyone must learn to live with the talents they were born with. Because Mob distances himself from his powers, he has no solid identity at the show’s beginning.
How people use their “gifts” to form their identity is also a key theme throughout the show. Teru bases his entire identity on his psychic powers because he is afraid of being ordinary. Ritsu despairs at his lack of powers in spite of his other talents. Dimple sees psychic powers as a mean to an end, while Claw deemed themselves superior to non-espers.
In other words: all these characters see power as a way to assert superiority. Who they want to be is implicitly tied with getting ahead of others or attaining a position of power and prestige. “Because I can do this, I am better than you.” There is, however, one character aside from Mob who doesn’t have this attitude.
Reigen.
Tumblr media
Reigen is arguably the most powerful character on the show, despite being the most ordinary. The way he connects with his gifts is completely different from the main characters. He uses his myriad of talents -- massaging, photo editing, acting -- to spice up his business. He has complete confidence in the way he lives, even if his methods are questionable, and it is because he’s able to embrace himself -- flaws and all -- that Reigen is able to defeat Claw.
Although he’s a conman, his actions seem to genuinely benefit his clients by setting their troubled minds at ease. While he initially employs Mob only for his powers, he quickly becomes the voice of reason and kindness in a world that’s all about kicking others down. It’s an inherently funny concept. A conman being the nicest guy on the show? But time and time again, Reigen provides stability for Mob by telling him to be who he wants to be, expectations and society be damned.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Reigen equates powers to knives. In the wrong hands, they’re deadly weapons. But in the right hands, they can be used to create something good, like a warm meal. When Mob says he doesn’t want his powers anymore, Reigen reminds him: "It’s all about how you use knives, remember?”
This is crucial for Mob, who lacks an identity because he’s suppressed his powers his entire life. He’s taken a passive stance to his own being because of his fear of hurting others. But by doing so, he’s isolated himself from his emotions and those around him. It’s an unsustainable way to live, which is meeting Reigen was so important to Mob. He helps him understand that having a talent isn’t necessarily bad. It’s how that talent is used that’s important.
What’s striking is that, in the grand showdown, Reigen ends the season with his most important lesson: “It’s okay to run away when things go south!”
Figuring out who you truly are is a scary and difficult process. Who you think you are will be challenged again and again, but sometimes, when things are beyond your control, it’s better to recognize your limits. To remember that there are other people you can rely on, and that you don’t have to stay in a bad situation to force yourself to learn a lesson when the price is too high to pay. Learning who you are shouldn’t break you.
Tumblr media
It’s what makes Mob’s declaration in Season 2, Episode 1 so impactful. Finally, he understands that he must take into consideration his own emotions in order to take care of what is important to him. The use of his powers to repair Emi’s novel is a nice parallel to how he used his powers in front of others in the previous season. We see through flashbacks that Mob had used his powers to only show off what he could do -- lifting frogs, creating bubbles -- but never did anything of actual merit. But Mob now knows that his powers can be a tool to help others and we see firsthand the impact of his realization. Emi goes home and, inspired by his act of kindness, begins writing a new story.
Essentially, Mob Psycho 100 is a story about the pitfalls of growing up, of navigating a world that isn’t so kind but deciding to choose kindness. There are enough people wielding knives to hurt others -- that’s why it’s important to use your knife for something good, in a world that won’t necessarily reward you for the choice. In the end, your life is your own.
Who do you want to be?

“Get ready, wake your psyche up, Gooch!
Get ready, dig your anger up, Gooch!
Get ready, wake your psyche up, Gooch!
Get ready!”
So this happened during the weekend on a road trip where I decided to create another AU featuring the CU cast in the world of Mob Psycho 100. But as a twist, instead of revolving around George and Harold, the story would instead focus on unlucky oddball Steve “Gooch” Yamaguchi.
Starring
Gooch as Shigeo “Mob” Kageyama. Along with having the same hairstyle, they’re both awkward, blunt and soft spoken boys who have difficulty with reading the room or understanding social norms. They still try to be good people but often get taken advantage of by other more domineering personalities. For this AU, Gooch is gifted with incredible powers that ordinary people could only dream to have. But Gooch isn’t interested in them since most people in his life only want him because of his powers. He wants to be recognized for his other traits and talents that don’t revolve around making cars and people float into space.
Krupp as Reigen Arataka. They’re both highly similar since they’re stingy, overreactive, self-absorbed glory hounds who often take advantage of others if it means satisfying their own personal goals. The main difference that unlike canon, Krupp will be an actual Jerk with a Heart of Gold for this AU. Over time, he learns to care about Gooch as he becomes his master by providing him genuine life lessons for him to use in his life. He also realizes that there are consequences to going too far with his selfish ways and that he won’t be as happy if he continues down the same path. He runs a spirit and consultation office where he takes on supernatural themed cases if it means bringing him cash and popularity.
Bo as Ritsu Kageyama. Both of them are dependable, kind hearted and have a close relationship with the main protagonist. In this AU, Bo would be more like a childhood friend who grew up with Gooch and cherishes his friendship with him. However, an incident involving some bullies made Bo insecure over the fact that he wasn’t able to protect Gooch. What’s worse is that Gooch was the one who ended up saving the two of them while also discovering his psychic powers that very day.  It’s because of this that Bo is desperate to awaken his own powers so he can be the guardian he was meant to be.
Smartsy as Dimple. Along with being floating blobs of green gas, they also started out as villains who wanted to take control of people but decided to let go of their schemes and become good. His initial cult was dedicated to healthy living by eating as many beans, broccoli and apple juice as possible.
Melvin as Teruki Hanazawa. The cocky, talented rivals of their respective series. Just like Teru, Melvin starts out believing himself to be something of a god while everyone else are inferior life forms for him to boss around. It isn’t until he has a chance encounter with Gooch does he realize that he isn’t the only big fish in the little pond called life. While he’s still arrogant and sarcastic, humble is something that Melvin can never properly learn in any AU, he does show genuine respect for Gooch for his abilities and a willingness to cooperate with his social circle. Also he does end up bald during his fight with Gooch and resorts to using an 80s wig.
Jessica as Tome Kurata. While this is a weird choice because of their different social standings, I chose them based on personality types. Just like Tome, Jessica is overly dramatic, obnoxious, conceited and is prone to giving orders to other students. For this AU, while she did create the Telepathy Club to be lazy and goof off, she does have a genuine interest in alien life and wants to make contact with them. Mainly so she can share her fabulous haar secrets with the rest of the universe. And in case you’re wondering about the aliens in her haar, those aren’t decorations. Those are the real thing. But just like Tome, Jessica needs to be motivated to achieve her goal and she’ll easily obtain them if she actually puts the effort into it.
Dressy as Ichi Mezato. A junior reporter at the school and a close acquaintance of Gooch. I picked her mainly for her role rather than personality. The reason she begins to investigate Gooch is because she’s seen his powers in its fullest when he defeated Smartsy’s Health Cult which in turn resulted in a secret following of people dedicated to the mysterious savior. Dressy desires to learn more about him so she can use his information and powers to promote a new world order that inspires peace and harmony among the rest of the Earth. So in a way, she wants to create her own cult. Cult!
Erica as Shou Suzuki. Both of them are talented, athletic and tend to snark when given the opportunity. Despite their cocky attitudes, they are truly aligned with the good side and want to make things right. For the AU, Erica has been keeping tabs on the Claw organization and has been providing the heroes with information needed to help take them and her wicked godmother down.
Nurse Offstill as Tsuchiya. I decided to go with Offstill since I wanted a female Faculty member who could work as a reformed Claw member. Offstill works with Tsuchiya since they’re both kick butt ladies who treat kids with respect and pretty cool in their own ways. Also to keep the record clear, Nurse Offstill belongs to @guilty-as-battery-charged.
Mr. Ree as Yusuke Sakurai. They’re both serious and dedicated to their careers. Ree would be exceptionally talented when it comes to using weapons. And while he does start out as a villain, he ultimately switches to being a good guy and proves to be a reliable ally.
Mr. Meaner as Banshomaru Shinra. They both have a sorta weird friendship going on with Krupp/Reigen, especially when it comes to their banter. Both Meaner and Shinra also believe themselves to be exceptionally great at their talents but the results say otherwise as they end up becoming Butt Monkeys.
Professor Poopypants as Ishiguro. The main antagonists of their respective series who intend to conquer the world and live above everyone as superior beings. They cannot be swayed into stopping their evil agendas and refuse to accept logic. Also they’re both tiny and have violent temper tantrums.
Mister Rio as Shimazaki. I went with my OC Rio since he fits with Shimazaki as a confident, agile and dangerous threat. They’ll beat you to a pulp with a smug smile on their faces.
Ms. Anthrope as Toichiro Suzuki. Regarding personalities, Anthrope can work for Toichiro since on the surface they’re presented as calm-minded, serious and somewhat generous to those around them. (Toichiro offered to help Serizawa control his powers and Anthrope is always reaching out to Krupp as a friend). But beneath the surface, they prove to be egomaniacal and dangerous as they intend to conquer the world to satisfy their own egos. I based this on how Anthrope was super expressive and power hungry when she became Clogneta.
Edith the Lunch Lady as Serizawa Katsuya. Just like Serizawa, Edith is an awkward but friendly person who wants to do what’s right. They have difficulty speaking up for themselves so they often mumble their words and drop the issue. For this AU, Edith was a social outcast because of her out of control powers and was afraid of hurting people. It isn’t until Ms. Anthrope arrived did she learn not only to control her powers but that she can be of use to create a better world order. But eventually she realizes how harmful and dangerous Anthrope’s agenda really is and switches sides. Once the battle is over, she decides to work at Krupp’s spirit office to use her powers for good. Also, Serizawa is considered to be Reigen’s love interest so it felt appropriate to have Edith here considering how Reigen is. *insert hubba-hubba-buububaba*
Other characters that I wanted to include were Lavator Ree as Murashi Gouda the leader of the Body Improvement Club. In this AU, Lavator would be a gym teacher instead of a student but he still leads the club with pride and goes the extra mile to ensure that Gooch is getting the right amount of training. And for George and Harold, I feel that they would share an unofficial role of being the Emi of the AU. They ended up having a rut with their comics since they feel that it doesn’t have the same heart like the old ones did. What’s worse is that they feel that maybe they’re outgrowing making comic books. But it isn’t until a chance encounter with Gooch who provides meaningful words to the boys on how their work does have meaning and they should cherish not only the talent they have but the time they spend making it together. This rekindles their spirits and the boys decide to make a comic dedicated to their new friend called “The Paranormal Heroics of the Prodigious Psycho Helmet”. And I also wanted to include someone for Tsubomi but I didn’t know which student would be fit to be Gooch’s love interest.
And that is Gooch Psycho 100. Thank you for taking the time to read all this. If you have any thoughts on this AU, or would like to share your own ideas, you’re more than welcome to like and/or reblog this with your thoughts.

Mob Psycho 100 and the new layers of shonen anime
I recently finished watching both seasons of Mob Psycho and I felt I had to write something about what it meant to me as a viewer to be introduced to this anime, because it’s been a while since I’ve been as pleasantly surprised as I was. I think this one deserves some positive observations, so here we go.
I’ve watched anime and read manga for most of my life.
I grew up around stuff like Captain Tsubasa, Sailor Moon, Saint Seiya, Dragon Ball, and evolved as a viewer as genres and products did around me.
I re-discovered what sports manga and anime could be when I first encountered Slam Dunk. I re-discovered what shonen manga and anime could be with stories like Fullmetal Alchemist. I re-discovered what shojo manga could be with mangakas like Rumiko Takahashi, Yukiru Sugisaki and CLAMP, and later Bisco Hatori. I re-discovered what josei manga could offer with Ai Yazawa. And so on.
I saw genres grow and develop, exceed their limits and question themselves. You had shojos with male protagonists, lgbt content in josei manga (and I mean actual content, not fanservice), shojo manga about sports, magical girls AND magical boys fighting alongside one another, archetypes deconstructing, seinen with philosophical debates, fantasy and mechas at the same time...
However, even though good content was never completely gone, the last decade or so was marked by a very big increase on niche exploitation.
Others have explained it better than I can but, basically, we saw an explosion of anime with certain types and genres which are absolutely clones of one another and respond to the same niche interests in order to sell merchandise and be produced quickly and easily.
And, worse than that, there are others which disguise themselves as “revolutionary” and “different” yet are the same exact thing with maybe a bit more quality on one aspect or another, but ultimately follow the same patterns and generate the same kind of mindset on their viewership and the same expectations.
Like I said, it isn’t that stuff with more complex content didn’t exist anymore, but it had a harder time to sustain itself out there when the market was asking for faster and bigger profit and anime and manga which don’t follow a formula are difficult to sell. So it’s harder to pitch new ideas when studios want to make a quick yen and when a lot of the fanbase outside national limits doesn’t pay for content.
I had kind of given up a bit. I watched stuff I already knew, new seasons of this or that, sometimes I explored different things, some of which were pleasant, some of which were fantastic, but the ones I enjoyed the most tended to really differ from the genres I was used to.
This year, my sister ( @strawberrydaydreams ) recommended me Mob Psycho 100. She knew I liked One Punch Man well enough and thought I’d like this one better.
She was right.
Mob Psycho does something different with the genre than what I had seen before. It doesn’t quite deconstruct archetypes and tropes, it doesn’t quite subvert them.
What I feel Mob Psycho does is re-contextualize them for an audience who isn’t content anymore with the blandness of genres past.
It doesn’t quite deconstruct masculinity in shonen, it enhances it. It adds more layers to it than the mere idea of power and competition that has been installed in it for ages.
The idea of power is accompanied by notions of emotion, vulnerability, guilt, love, kindness, respect, fear, responsibility, courage. There’s this idea that power means nothing in a vacuum if you aren’t human enough to be able to live without it.
And it isn’t just that Mob is such a vulnerable and likable kid, it’s also his surroundings.
He has a teacher who has 0% power but 100% common sense. Reigen is a lot of things, but he’s mostly the voice of reason, a reason that exceeds the believability of the genre and contextualizes it in the real world.
I don’t remember when was the last time I heard an adult character in an anime saying something like “I don’t care how powerful he is, he’s a child, this is too much for him to handle”. The first time I heard him say that I remembered all those small shonen protagonists being beaten up by grown ass adults and normalized by the plot because hey, power = physical power in shonen.
When I was a kid, I thought nothing of tiny Gohan being beaten up to death by grown ass men, but when I was a little older and saw Gon being almost killed in HunterxHunter, I was in pain. Every time in shonen someone pointed out that a character “is just a kid” it was taken as a joke, implying something along the lines of “that person doesn’t understand that this kid is super powerful”.
The fact that a character was a kid had no relation, in the context of the show, to the idea that they were strong enough to fight and, most often than not, that physical strength was enough to put the weight of the world, universe or multiverse on those tiny shoulders.
The suspension of disbelief is part of the genre, especially with anime and manga where everything tends to be exaggerated and taken to an extreme. Still, shonen is a genre aimed at a young audience, and in a tradition of decades upon decades of the normalization of this, and the subsequent separation of power from anything emotional or mental, where physical strength is the only requirement for a story to allow someone to be chosen, it sends a conflicting message on what power, and subsequently in this genre the idea of masculinity, can entail.
And even though other shonen have de-constructed masculinity and the genre itself, they completely let go of the archetypes of a regular shonen story to do it, which is another process entirely, a valid and amazing one, but another one.
Mob Psycho introduces common sense in an archetypal shonen. It’s built on the premise that power and physical force aren’t romanticized, setting archetypes and storylines that are typical of the genre on a setting that emulates how the world actually works and how social interactions are a part of human nature, as is empathy.
It doesn’t retort to isolation and suffering, to pain and torture, to make the protagonist strong, he is already strong physically, what he needs to become a better person, to grow up, is the constantly growing support system and voices of reason helping him through it.
And, most importantly, it isn’t anymore about how a protagonist is forgiving because he’s just “a good goofy character archetype”, here he is forgiving because it’s fair in the context of human empathy and interaction.
And it isn’t just about Reigen as a mentor (a faulty, complex and far from perfect mentor, but who is, after all, a good person).
There’s the bodybuilding team, these super ripped guys who look too old to go to school (and one ex gang member) all training together and taking Mob under their wing, with this idea of masculinity being completely extended from “we have muscles and physical strength” to “we don’t use it against people unless they’re abusing others who can’t protect themselves”.
And there is family, friends, an entire growing circle of people who attach themselves to this universe because they learn from this kid and his journey.
I have to admit that though Ritsu’s path was something I wasn’t sure of at the start, it made for such a complex dynamic of the older and younger brother rivalry archetype. It took this idea that is present in so many shonen anime and manga of the younger brother’s conflicts with the shadow of the oldest to an entirely different level of complexity and discussion, of guilt, fear, doubt, conversation and reconciliation.
And, through all this, Mob recognizes, at every step of the way, that his absolute incredible power is not everything. That he is, first and foremost, a person. That he can always improve in something.
He doesn’t see his powers as an advantage, but he also doesn’t completely reject them. He fights for control, yes, but he doesn’t let go of who he is. He has to learn to reconcile different parts of his life, because everything is part of him all the same.
Added to all this there are fascinating characters and great designs, stories within stories and a lot of lore and interesting things that keep adding themselves to it all.
In and of itself it’s an interesting and smart story. But what surprised me is the level of re-contextualization of genre archetypes into a more realistic plain of what the world needs.
A shonen anime, which traditionally represents the young cis male demographic, which follows the same patterns and archetypes of power, rivals, fights, abilities, leveling up; but adds to that layers which build up on that with empathy, kindness and common sense, it’s a pretty refreshing thing to see.

Miyo’s Anime of the Decade though Actually Just 2019
***Before I start this list, I would like to continue to send out good vibes and hope to all those affected by the Kyoto Animation arson attacks this past summer. It still hurts and I hope things can get better for everyone affected by it, even though I'm sure some things will take a long time to heal, if they ever will. Just know that you will always have me wishing you the best I can and sending out hope for you to recover at your own pace.***
I like writing these things every year. Whether it lets me know if my tastes are changing or staying the same, or if I'm just sentimental, writing about things I like is fun. Anime is good and I like watching it. I watched a good amount of stuff this year even if some seasons I couldn't find anything I say would fit this list.
For example, I started watching the Symphogear series and it's fun but I wouldn't say I liked it as much as any of these shows. Anima Yell is a very cute show but I didn’t have much to say about it, same for Aggretsuko again. I liked the main characters of JoJo part 5, but I wouldn't say I liked watching that, especially as the villain was revealed more and more. Fire Force was fun for me for like 5 episodes or so but then I bailed so take that as you will.
But I don't want to sound too mean here. No, this is for stuff I liked a lot and I wanted to write about things I enjoyed. This year I actually kept track of shows I liked as opposed to figuring out what I'd go on this list at the last moment. Crazy, I know, but this could be a good idea. Don't worry, I didn't take TOO many notes so this will be pretty off the cuff of my head like normal though I'm sure. As always, I will be using whatever title is easier for me to write/preference.
With this bit of text out of the way, let's la GO!  In no particular order (as always)...
Tumblr media
Mob Psycho 100
This entry counts for both season 1 and season 2. I kind of sped through the first one a little so I could catch up in time for the second one. I feel it stuck with me just as much though. Mob Psycho is a solid action series with very silly things going on in the background of it...and foreground honestly). I suspect ONE is very good at making this sort of series. Honestly though, every character in this show is great and there's so many feel good moments. Mob  himself is a wonderful character. The most powerful psychic force in the universe but he just wants to get buff to go out with his crush.
Tumblr media
There's a lot to like about this series. The humor is on point and anything with Reigen is going to be hilarious, especially if it takes a while. Animation is consistently top notch, especially in season 2, and I love the psychic effects. They end up looking like an old 90's video filter or trapper keeper or something. However, the most impressive thing this series does is show that maybe fighting isn't the way to do things all the time and that the most important thing you can show isn't just sympathy, but empathy.
Mob is a really good show and both of the OVAs are fun as heck. I dunno why I originally slept on Season 1, but I'm glad I came aboard.
Tumblr media
Kaguyasama: Love is War
You probably know this one from that one ending with the pink haired girl dancing, that was going around for a while even though it was only for one episode. This series actually took me a little bit to get into mainly due to being WAY too tired to keep up with it. The set up being that the smartest boy and girl in the most elite high school both want to ask the other out. However, being the one to ask the other out would be to give up all power and admitting defeat. Basically it's a battle of two love struck idiots trying to get the other to ask them out.
As dumb as that sounds, the setups are often hilarious. Seeing the main characters trying to out scheme each other and keep a straight face while watching is a challenge in itself. It's like that 4th dimensional chess but the end result is seeing who will hold the other's hand first. Then throw in the wild card of Chika who seems to both not know what's going on while understanding how easy it is to end up on top in these battles and...look it's very funny ok? Even if sometimes the joke is just "weiner".
Shows that made me tear up count: 1

Kemurikusa
Similar to the Kemono Friends and its big gold star award, I felt like Kemurikusa deserved a shoutout this year. It's still janky like Kemono Friends before it, but after everything that went down with that series, it was definitely telling when this was the better of the two. This is a weird series and only some of that is due to the animation. The studio does a wonderful job of making a world that's both interesting and haunting at the same time. Everything that happens all ties to a big mystery that isn't revealed for quite a while.
The characters are fun enough. From the serious Rin to the caring Ritsu. From the voracious Rinas to the dweeby Wakaba. It's a fun cast going on a road trip throughout the apocalypse as they try to find good water for their big plant friend that drives around their husk of a bus. It can get pretty dark at times even with the neon bright colors the titular kemurikusa shimmering softly in the background. Oh also there's a roomba friend and a girl with sharp teeth so I mean, it's got something for everybody.
Tumblr media
Hitoribocchi
This series is a cute little show with a setup which is potentially mean if you think about it. Bocchi's best friend is afraid she won't ever be able to make any other friends since they're going to different middle schools. Because of this, she says they can't be friends again until she befriends everyone in her class. The biggest hurdle to this challenge being Bocchi is horribly shy and socially awkward which just makes things seemingly impossible for her to overcome. Luckily, this is a cute comedy series.
The show is basically about Bocchi trying to make new friends so she can hopefully one day reunite with her bestie from the past. As I said before though, she's kind of bad with knowing how to communicate with people so she has a bad habit of say following friend making tips she read in books or online to a t and not deviating from them. Thankfully she is able to meet with lovable weirdos like blunt Nako, pitiful Aru and ninja girl Sotoka. It's a cute little series that also has a lot of heart, especially if you've ever had to overcome your own social anxieties to interact with others before. It's also funny too so there's a bonus even.

Carole and Tuesday
Shhhh. Don't let Netflix know I finished this before they did. Carole and Tuesday is a fun show from the creator of Cowboy Bebop, as evidenced in the fact it takes place on Mars and uses the same currency. It's a fairly simple plot, two girls meet up one day on the streets and start playing music together. One's an orphan who's basically lived alone for most of her life, the other is a rich girl running away from her politician mother (whose politics are a little too close for comfort these days). They just wanna make music man, and with a former big time agent with them, how can they lose!
Carole and Tuesday are fun characters and the show has a fun future sci fi vibe while still being grounded in reality. One of the biggest highlights is definitely the music though with lots of new songs in every episode and a good number of them being certifiable bangers. There's an overarching plot that also hits too close to home at times but the big finale at the end made it all worth it in the end really. This is an easy show to recommend and I am doing so to you right now. Go see these girls trying to make it to the big time!

Fruits Basket (2019)
I skipped out on Fruits Basket the first time around. I always told myself I'd go back and check it out but, knowing how I do things, this never actually happened. Part of me is kind of glad I waited to check it out though since I really like the style of the new show compared to the one from the early 00s. What I'm saying is I should have checked this out a lot earlier than I did but I don't feel visually bad for doing so.
Fruits Basket is a show featuring Tohru, the most helpful lovable girl, and a cast of characters who all start to love her because she is the most helpful lovable girl. This might sound like a bad thing but it's not. All of the characters are really fun, save one who I don't know WHY they don't just beat up, and I love seeing all their interactions. I just grew really invested in all of them and keep hoping everything will end up ok for them in the end, while in some cases waiting for a really big shoe to drop and biting my nails in the process.
I dunno if I have a super bunch to say about it other than my favorites are Uo-chan and Hana-chan and I can't wait until part 2 shows up. I am ready to see more of these Zodiac weirdos get hugged by Tohru and become animals and have her solve their problems in that order.
Shows that made me tear up count: 4
....Now, as usual, I will take a break to talk about the Precures I watched this year...
Tumblr media
Futari wa Precure
This year, my friend Cheapsteaks and I decided to go after the OG Precure scene by watching the series that started it all. School girls run into fairies being pursued by weird monsters from another dimension/world/whatever and have to become legendary warriors to help them out. It's a story we all know well, just with lots of dropkicks and judo tosses.
As much as I like Honoka and Nagisa, and the opening theme...Futari wa has a lot of growing pains which is to be expected. Being the first one, it feels more like other magical girl series of the time compared to the style of later Pretty Cure series. From the rather uninspired villains, including one named Pissard, to the bland crush of Fuji P-senpai, and especially the obnoxious fairies, this is definitely one of the weaker series in my eyes. Again, it's probably not fair to judge it though since they didn't know what they were doing yet with this series.
That being said, there is a dumb fun to watching the Crunchyroll subs for a nostalgic taste of hard yellow subs and often not great audio. Again, the best parts of this are Honoka and Nagisa and I can see why they still get to be super popular today.
Tumblr media
Smile Precure!
The other older series we checked out this year was Smile Precure which is much more my speed. The characters are all really good and they're all super good friends and it just makes me feel good. Like just in general they'rea really good and strong cast and I love all of them. Reika/Cure Beauty is the secret funniest character just by being the straight man on a team of doofuses and it works so well.
Miyuki's desire to make everything around her "Ultra Happy" just makes you feel good seeing a character who just wants others around her to be as happy as she is. All she needs is a smile and that makes me also smile. Akane is fiery and powerful, Yayoi is a big sweetie whose artistic trials and tribulations I SUPER identify with, Nao is a super cool big sister and I already brought up Reika being great. This is really one of my favorite Precures I've watched so far and I'm going to be sad to see it go in a few weeks.
I'd also be remiss if I didn't mention that I love the stupid villain trio. Especially Akaoni. I love you big red oni doofus. (Please see oni times in the link below)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eXA5jfSJz_c&feature=youtu.be
Shows that made me tear up count: 5 (ANY NAO EPISODE AAAA)
Tumblr media
Star Twinkle Precure
The newest Precure series! One we also dragged fellow anime friend Metalray into and I feel like it was a fun enough one. Cute alien encounters trying to help space zodiac princesses with a fluff unicorn and a tentacalien? Sign me up my dudes. Star Twinkle is a fun series and has a lot of things going for it, while also having weird similarities to Smile sometimes like soccer related attacks from good big sisters and prim and proper arrow girls.
The characters as always really make the show I feel when it comes to Precure and Lala is adorable enough to carry it entirely herself? But the enthusiasm of Hikaru is always fun because it usually just involves her being really into outer space and everything in it. Hey there's even Elena who is Mexican-Japanese and the show even explores a bit of her growing up being different from others so like, that's pretty cool I think? If it helps little kids learn to accept others and be cool through lil hermit crabs and dog space police officers, I think that's a real good thing.
...Now Precure time is over but I'm looking forward to next year's offering and seeing what old ones we go after next. (Spoilers, we will probably do Max Heart and Fresh!)...
Tumblr media
How Heavy are the Dumbbells You Lift?
So this series has some problems in that like...wow sometimes during the exercise segments of the show, it just gets way too horny like...I dunno if I needed to see sensei in nothing but a bedsheet to show off how she worked her lats fellas. But I digress.
The main reason this show is on here is because it affected me enough to actually look at myself and start wanting to become healthier? Like the show is just a framing device for jokes and showing off exercise routines but the characters are all really sincere and the translation of the opening is even moreso? Like I feel this show helped me out a lot and I'm gonna let you all know about it cuz maybe it can help you out too if you need it.
I don't have a whole lot more to say but I will leave you with the opening I mentioned. Turn on the captions for this banger and remember that you can do it too!

Wasteful Days of High School Girl
Hey, so can I say something amazing? Much like Asobi Asobase last year, this series was a very weird comedy that I absolutely ended up loving a lot in the end. The cast is full of delightful idiots, one aptly named Baka by her friends being the standout moron of the cast. The title pretty much says it all but you will find all sorts of high school girls here just wasting their youth away in their favorite ways.
You want a girl who draws BL doujin while listening to vocaloid tracks? We gotchu. What about a girl who is more invested in micro organisms in Petri dishes than her friends? Yo, we're set. A dipshit chuuni who climbs on top of absolutely anything tall and regularly needs to be rescued/leap out of trees because of it? Yea, that's here too. The show is not afraid to be weird any chance it gets and there's something I can respect about that. This series also had one of my number one laughs in an anime this year in one of the last episodes too and it still makes me laugh as I recall it right now.
Tumblr media
Also like Asobi Asobase, it has the plus of having a lovable witch girl who is as pure as she is into weird occult shit. Majo you're a sweetie. Even if your room is creepy.
Tumblr media
The Demon Girl Next Door
This show feels like something that should have come out about 5 years ago in terms of animation style, story set up, characters and even the jokes. I don't think this is necessarily a bad thing though because not only is it pleasant and cute, it also knows when to step back from teasing its unfortunate main character. Shamiko, the demon girl formerly known as Yuko by everyone who isn't her family, is a kind of pitiful character and this series could easily just make jokes that punch down and humiliate her way more than it did.
Thankfully, the show actually does it's best to show that she is comic relief but also that she is genuinely a good person. She's not very good at being a demon as she is still learning so maybe she gets easily tricked by resident blase magical girl Momo more than she should. However, she will go out of her way to make sure her rival is eating more than the crappy instant food she frequently microwaves. Like I said, it's ultimately a silly, kind of dated feeling series but the character interactions are nice and it's just genuinely good
hearted to see these girls become friends, even if sometimes it's due to trickier. The show makes sure not to be mean at all times to Shamiko compared to say Satania in Gabriel Dropout's treatment, or the snake girl in that Dropkick show I dropped after one episode. Shamiko is good and hopefully one day she will be able to use her demon powers to rule the world so her family can have a bigger, non cursed, budget to live on.

O Maidens in Your Savage Season
Puberty is hard. Puberty is also maddening, wanting to drive you up the wall with new urges you are not used to. Simple joys like trains are replaced with weird videos you order off websites or somehow get from the back of a video store. Puberty is an inherently frantic time but it's also kind of funny if you think about it enough.
Maidens explores the tales of the Literature Club members as they go through this important stage of life and that's the fun of this series. All of the girls are each trying to find out exactly what it is they want out of a relationship. Is it just friendship? Is it Ess Ee Ecks? There's a lot of fun to be had as the series goes on. Whether it be Kazusa trying to get a bit further with a childhood friend, President Rika questioning her stance on relationships being even proper to have in high school or the writing adventures of HItoha going to sex chatrooms, there is a lot of different things going on in this show.
It's got a very good sense of drama as well; there were more than a few episodes where I found myself worried about what would happen next and hoping things would be ok. Niina's arc is very intense and gave me creeper vibes any time her old mentor appeared. The show is very good in general at just showing emotions and none of it felt like it was shoehorned or phony. The writing is top notch and I love all these girls. Puberty is a weird time but...they got this I'm sure.
Here are a couple of other shows I watched that didn't come out this year but enjoyed a lot!
Tumblr media
SSSS.Gridman
Thank God Trigger was able to come back from its previous offering to give us Gridman. At first I was afraid that all of its Transformers color scheme easter eggs were just trying to lure me in with a mediocre show. This was not the case because Gridman just rules hard. A sequel/spinoff to the old 90's series, localized here as Superhuman Samurai Syber-Squad, this show was a love letter from the creators to the show and other tokusatsu shows in general.
Kaiju appear to devastate the city, shown from low angles that just make it seem even more like you're watching an old toku show. The toyetic nature of Gridman's various powerups and the design of Gridman himself just further pay homage to this. There was one Kaiju for a moment I swear you could see a string operating it (for the record, it was not a string but was in fact part of the Kaiju). It's not just a cheap nostalgic trap though because the animation is superb, the action is top notch and the main theme song just kicks ass. This is a really cool series and if you have any passing interest in toku shows, are a Trigger fan, or like seeing Actionmaster Thundercracker's color scheme, go and check this thing out!
Tumblr media
Other highlights include another version of Inferno Cop and Rikka's mom who is always fun and good.
Tumblr media
Dirty Pair (TV series)
Dirty Pair is a series I watched a good chunk of before but never actually finished. Thanks to the #DirtyDecempair hashtag though, I finally went and did it and well...Dirty Pair is still really good y'all. It's got space babes who kick ass and are not afraid to go after hunks along the way. Seriously, it's great when you watch a show older than you and it lives up to its hype.
Kei and Yuri are really good characters because they will snipe at each other but in the end, they are still besties and will mess up anything that gets in their way. I appreciate that they always try to get more PTO and pay out of their boss. Even more, I appreciate that the chief will put up with all their shit, whether it be the aforementioned blackmailing for vacation or the sheer amount of destruction they leave in their wake,  and still is 100% behind them. He knows they're the best he has and nothing will get in their way.
So yea, Dirty Pair. Still a good show over 30 years later. You should check it out next December! Or sooner, whatever!
That abut wraps up my list of anime I watched this year, but I'm also gonna throw a little bonus round on you! Some anime movies I watched and liked! Lightning round go!
Promare Good fucking movie, good fucking soundtrack. Good Trigger things this year. It lives up to its hype for sure. Go see this when it is out on DVD and Bluray!
Sound Euphonium - Our Promise: A Brand New Day This was a nice movie that felt like a good third season condensed into about 2ish hours.
Love Live! Sunshine!! The School Idol Movie: Over the Rainbow I actually like the music from this one more than the movie itself but seeing Ruby's arc gaining confidence is good and I love it.
Bonus Saint Snow Track: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oUNNWxK2Dfs
Redline A movie I kept meaning to see and finally did thanks. Stylish and cool as hell, and the dub is really good too.
Dragon Ball Super: Broly They made Broly a compelling character finally, holy shit. Also some good Frieza comedy.
KonoSuba! Legend of Crimson Imagine a village full of dipshit chuuni wizards. This movie was fun and funny as shit. Warning: It does have one awkward joke related to gender but it thankfully passes by it real quick.
So I think this is my list. I hope you enjoy it. The next time you'll see one from me will be in the distant future of 2020! Hopefully things will be cool by that point to go with the good anime.

ritsu from mp100!!!!
What I think about this character:
For this, I’m just gonna straight-up copy and paste a post I made about Ritsu a couple weeks ago, because it sums up how I feel about him pretty well:
“I really wanna write something about Ritsu, because boy howdy do I remember a thing or two about being 12-13 years old, sitting on my own pile of corrosive and self-sabotaging mental illnesses that I had no idea about, with none of the adults around me suspecting anything was off because I was one of those goddamn gifted-and-talented kids who was a diligent student and nice to people. 15 years later and this is still Quite The Mood for me—”
(Important to note that his issues manifest themselves way differently than mine ever did, with all the anger and spite just bottling up until they exploded outward at everyone and everything. As to my own issues, they manifested a lot more like Serizawa’s did, with a buttload of paralyzing fear and hiding from the world.
All the people I ship romantically with this character:
Really only with Shou, but I gotta note that I am a person more than twice Ritsu’s age who teaches junior high schoolers for a living (I see their birthdays in the school computer and marvel at how these lil goblins were all Just Born Two Seconds Ago), I gotta say the concept of romantic shipping for the majority of the mp100 characters is a little weird for me. It’s more important to me that Ritsu has good friends and people supporting him. And Shou is definitely that for Ritsu. He’s the first person to tell him frankly and objectively how much potential he has to become a strong esper, and continues to tell him that, and comes to him for help because of it, and I know that means the world to Ritsu. But more importantly, of course, I think he immediately sees what kind of person Ritsu is without any of his bullshit pretenses he puts on for everyone else, and he genuinely likes him for it. I am all for Shou sending him terrible memes to make him smile if only at how stupid they are, and inviting himself over for video game tournaments and marathoning awful animes and Perfectly Average And Sweet adolescent pastimes that they both really need to engage in for their own sanity and healing.
People I ship non-romantically with this character:
I’m super charmed/amused by the idea of him being friends with Teru. I do think their personalities would grate on each other a bit (a good 80% of that is Ritsu being annoyed with Teru just for Being Himself), but there’s a lot to be said for them being the heart of the support group of People Who Said/Did Horrible Things To Mob And He Forgave Them Immediately Anyhow And They Still Feel Shitty About It. They’re both actively trying to become better people and I kind of want to see them supporting one another in that, even if it’s mostly unspoken. I also wanna see them sparring with each other, to practice/improve/blow off steam. (Also: “I swear to god I’ll reshave your head if you ever try to take my brother clothes shopping again—”)
My unpopular opinion about this character:
I’ve not interacted enough with the fandom to really know what’s unpopular, so it’s shameless headcanon-listing time! Fun ones first:
I think he likes cats, a lot, and the more hateful and standoffish the cat is the more he loves it. He’s probably too self-conscious to go around petting strays all time, but he’d really want to and would probably do it if he was with Mob or Shou.
I think he’s seen Breaking Bad at least five times. *whispers* He is the Danger.
I think the only meme-speak he will deign to use in regular conversation, much to Shou’s delight, is “Then Perish.”
I think he’s actually pretty terrible at board games, especially shogi or chess or something strategy-based, because he’s canonically prone to making crappy snap decisions, and the more he wants to beat the person the worse his game gets. He’s never played Reigen at anything because his dignity would not be able to handle the guaranteed loss.
More Serious Headcanon is that he’s got sensory issues—which is shameless projection of my own neurological disorder onto a character I love but I do not fucking care. The way Sensory Processing Disorder manifests for me is physical pain/serious discomfort and certain touches and sensations (it can be completely arbitrary what sets it off and what doesn’t), pain or tingling around your spine at certain pitches or volumes of sound. Even stupid things like needing a billion blankets on you to sleep so you feel weighted down properly or clothing tags bothering you way too much. And the big one is not being able to maintain physical contact with someone for very long/avoiding it when you can, which people can easily take personally. This would work really well for Ritsu, I think, who probably the least touchy-feely person in the series, and who spends so much time alone. Being sensory-avoiding is isolating in itself, and it’d give a believable extra layer to the things that already make him feel isolated. (Also, the canon fact that he almost never listens to music—headphones can be a bitch sometimes for SPD because if you’re not careful your own music can hurt you because of the pitches in your ears.)
One thing I wish would happen/had happened to this character in canon:
Here, have three:
A proper, cathartic conversation with Mob after the 7th Division arc—in other words, let this child have a good long cry, not just the 5ish seconds/single page of it we got in canon.
Ritsu figuring out something’s seriously wrong after Mob comes home at the end of the Mogami arc. I’m of the mind that Mob probably didn’t ever tell anyone what happened in his six months of Mogami-hell, because he didn’t want to upset anyone or make it their problem, but damn it I wish he had, and I think if Ritsu were to figure out something was up that it’d be when Mob’s going around thanking everyone like he said he would. It may be wishful thinking that either of them would be good enough at communicating with each other for a conversation like that to get off the ground and actually be healing for Mob, but I want them to have fumbled through it and tried.
And finally, I want him to have some actual meaningful bonding time with Reigen. Ritsu may not like Reigen as a person, but you can’t tell me that somebody who’s chosen to make a living out of deceiving people doesn’t know a thing or two about self-loathing, self-sabotage and hopelessness, and how to identify it in others. It’d be a tall order for him to get Ritsu to sit down and listen to him, but it’d it be so goddamn good for him to feel validated by an adult who genuinely understands and wants the best for him.
Anyways, @fmobbu, I’m sorry I’m wordy, but I hope you enjoy anyhow! Thanks for giving me the chance to ramble about the spoon child ;)

i have a desperate need to dump a bunch of my mp100 headcanons in one place so please accept all of these, they’re mostly family headcanons & also trans reigen headcanons -so reigen’s mom had him super young, like, a teenager young -she was around 18 when he was born -it was super hard for a single teen mom but she’s a hell of a lot like her son, which is to say: hardheaded & silver tongued -worked to support them both so reigen was a latchkey kid for a bit but she spent as much time with him as she could & was an Aggressively supportive mom - so when her kid, who she’d thought was a daughter, came to her like ‘mom i’m a boy’ around first grade she was like ALRIGHT TIME TO RESEARCH AS MUCH AS I CAN I GUESS -as a result reigen transitioned super early -he was already able to present how he wanted as a kid & his mom WAS NOT ABOVE YELLING AT ADMINISTRATORS/TEACHERS/ANYONE WHO MISGENDERED HER KID and finding every loophole she could to let her son attend school without being misgendered -however they were pretty fuckin poor when reigen was growing up -and around the time he started puberty his mom & him both knew he needed to get on blockers but he was super guilty about it bc he knew it was a lot of trouble & doctors appointments & stuff -to which his mom was like ‘WELL TOO BAD YOU NEED IT SO WE’RE GETTING IT’ -so he was able to get trans related medical care pretty early & so the only real time he ever spent living life outside his actual gender was like... as a tiny kid -as reigen got older it became pretty much a non-issue and the more pressing issue was that They Were Broke -he started working part time in high school to support his mom - a lot of really weird odd jobs like dog walker and the guy who counts how many people go into and out of stores and secret shopper and god knows what else -because his mom was so young when she had him their relationship is a little parental and a little siblings -like, he supports her emotionally as much as she supports him -sometimes more becasue he feels like he put her through a lot as a child so hes gotta be responsible now -his mom is a hell of a penny pincher & taught him everything he knows about budgeting & couponing etc -however she’s got the worst love life & is kind of a mess & oddly ends up asking her son how the hell to handle most emotional situations -which leads to a lot of people like ‘i... kind of feel like arataka is the parent here’ -mobs parents especially -speaking of: mobs parents had him super late (& then ritsu IMMEDIATELY after) when his mom was like 30 -so reigen’s mom and mob’s parents are about the same age -so they kind of immediately decide upon meeting reigen that he’s their lost third son -he can act parental to mob all he likes but they know the truth: he’s their son & they’ve adopted him -reigens mom wants so bad to be friends with mob’s parents but she intimidates them -in that shes this tiny Very Loud Very Open woman who drinks a lot of wine -what the hell is TMI, everyone needs to know about my date last night -relax, dont be so uptight, have some wine -mobs very normal parents dont know how to handle her -she makes fun of reigen a lot and its mostly affectionate -but sometimes she judges him -like when he quit his office job to open up a spirit agency or whatever??? -arataka, do you know how many people i would have killed to have an office job whle you were growing up -how are you going to pay your bills -what do you mean you’re also paying an employee, are you even paying the rent on your office? -arataka if i need to come to seasoning city and scold you in person i will -don’t test me -(she lives far enough away that reigen only really talks to her on the phone or via email) -its not that often bc both of them are actually pretty busy -as she always has like a hundred boyfriends it seems like -she always dumps them -she’s a heartbreaker -reigen is exhausted w her but also he’s kind of just like her -in that he only really does one night stands & cannot commit to save his life -he’s dumped most eligible bachelors in seasoning city - his mom is also aggressively supportive of her wild ass can’t-date-to-save-his-life gay son - coming out as gay was way harder than coming out as trans (bc he was like 5 when he did that) but his mom just laughed at him & was like “whatever, you do what makes you happy, i am the last person to lecture anyone about their love life” -reigen loves his mom a lot eve if she’s kind of a mess -and vice versa -but also when he meets mobs parents hes like ‘OH MY GOD IS THIS WHAT NORMAL PARENTS ARE LIKE’ ...thats it for now im sorry i had to ramble some

So I tried translating this week’s omake
There are many kanjis that I can’t see clearly from the RAW so I went with my gut. I also can’t guarantee that my translation is accurate.
If you’re okay with that, here you go.
P1
Reigen : Hot~~ Students are having summer vacation, huh. How nice... I also want to go back to being a grade-schooler... Oh, Teru. What's up? It's rare for you to come here.
Teru   : Well... it's summer vacation...
 P2
Teru   : I finished my homework on the first day and I got nothing to do so I came here. The cooler here is weak...
Mob    : Hanazawa-kun is living alone, right? you're not going to your parents’ house? It's not often that you go out with your family.
Teru   : My parents has been working overseas these past few years... I haven't had any family outing for a long time. Summer vacation is really long. Being alone for a long time is boring, its not good. I don't know how to spend my time. .. I can't understand why people are so happy about it. I want summer to be over sooner. I'm not doing anything so is it okay if I help out with Reigen-san's work?
Mob    : Master?
Reigen : It’s fine. A troublesome work came up and I need more manpower. You too, eat some watermelon ice.
Reigen : Mob, can you call your brother too?
Mob    : Ritsu too? it's so sudden, but I'll try calling him.
 P3
Ritsu  : what's with this thing (i can't see the kanji clearly so I can't search for it orz)
Reigen : There's a cursed Ookuugata (A type of bug/beetle, I think?) that's supposed to appear around here. We'll deal with it (super hard to read kanji, i just went with my gut..)
Reigen : Oh! a nokogiri kuugata!!
Teru   : There's a tiny beetle here.
Ritsu  : That's a canaven (??)
Reigen : OOO!! I FOUND A MIYAMA KUUGATA!!!
Teru   : um, this... could this be the Ookugata, Reigen-san?
Reigen : hmm, that's a kokugata. That's too bad.
 P4
Reigen : UWAA A COCKROACH. MOB DO SOMETHING!!! THERE ARE MOSQUITOES TOO SO LET'S MOVE TO THE NEXT PLACE!!
(sound of wave crashing?)
Reigen : There's an info about a spirit of a big-breasted woman who wears bikini. It will disguise itself as a human so you guys might not be able to notice... If you see something like that, be sure to report to me. Well, if the spirit's not appearing, you're free to play around.
 P5
Reigen : The last one's this amusement park. Apparently in this park's haunted house, a real ghost appears. Go investigate immediately.
Mob    : There's no real ghost.
Reigen : Okay. Next, go ride every ride here. The evil spirit might be moving through the attractions. Also not to waste the precious tickets I bought.
THERE'S ONLY 40 MINUTES UNTIL THE PARK CLOSES SO HURRY UP!!! TAKE IT BACK, TAKE IT!! (I think this means 'GO GET MY MONEY'S WORTH' or something)
Ritsu  : In the end, there’s no particular outcome.
Reigen : Nah, you guys saved me. I can’t move around too much by myself. I’ll send the investigation report to the client.
 P6
Teru   : Reigen-san... ended up taking care of everything...
Reigen : What’s this about? Speaking of which, you said something about not knowing how to spend your summer vacation, right?
Teru   : ?? Yes...
Reigen : Listen, Teru. It’s simple. The way to spend summer is... To laze around. It’s not necessary to think about having to be doing something. Take more time to rest. If you can’t relax at home, you can visit the office. Take Mob as an example.
Mob    : Master laze around even when it’s not summer vacation, though...
Teru   : Then, I’ll come to cool down with the weak cooler again.
Reigen : Ou. How about ramen before going home?
Ritsu  : Ah. Yakiniku would be nice.
Reigen : NONONO let’s just end the day peacefully, shall we?
T/N:
> I AM SO GLAD TERU HAS FRIENDS HE CAN SPEND HIS SUMMER WITH HNGHGHNH
> Reigen is so relatable. I want to go back to being a kid, too........
> Teru holding his hat nervously is... so cute?
> From Teru’s interaction with Ritsu, it kinda feels like Teru’s a little bit sheltered? Either way, I’m happy that there’s more Teru and Ritsu interactions.
> Reigen strikes again with his wisdom. I guess it’s the second time Reigen give ice cream to Teru? (if you count the anthology, lol)
> Teru, son, why didn’t you just say you’ll visit the office again? There’s no need for the ‘i come here bc I need to cool down’ schmucks.
> I’M STILL SAD ABOUT TERU OK HOLD ME

hey guys its time for me to infodump dekumob shit
rip all the mobile users who probs have to scroll past all this im sorry
their childhoods are polar opposites. deku was powerless & bullied for this, yearning for power & to be a hero. mob was born with power & sees it as nothing but a burden and is afraid of hurting people with his power.
deku puts a lot of value in the power he was granted too while mob wishes he didnt even have his powers at times and can see them as worthless.
deku would be amazed & fascinated by mobs abilities so much. while there would probably be plenty of esper heroes, mob is so damn powerful and i think after seeing mob use some of his power deku would be able to quickly recognize that. deku probably takes notes on esper heroes such as buildup of power and notes how little buildup mob needs to give out a powerful blow.
mob tells deku abt how he loses control sometimes and deku goes on this mumbling rant on how it could happen. no conclusion is ever really made
whenever mob feels self conscious about his quirk, deku is always there to cheer him up, whether it be intentional or deku starts rambling on how useful his quirk is especially if he gets creative on the battlefield or if he wants to become a rescue hero its perfect and oh no hes going on his mumbling tangent again
work out buddies! deku ends up having to pick mob off the ground a lot but he encourages him
deku admires mobs efforts but is also worried over mob accidentally overworking himself
mob probably really admires how much muscle deku already put on which turns deku beat red each time mob compliments it but he sincerely means it, deku
their familes get along well
inko would probably love mob a lot. inko is kind of a very weak telekinesis user so they connect through quirks somewhat & inko would be so happy that deku found such a nice & caring person
ritsu & deku also get along super well. their conversations will range from small talk to really detailed discourse
ritsu is somewhat surprised when mob tells him deku is his bf but is also kind of relieved that mob would end up with such a good guy. of course it takes a while to really trust deku but ritsu never has too many doubts on him
kageyamas will invite deku to dinner & inko will invite mob to dinner sometimes
when ua gets dorms it seems like every other day mob is investigating some kind of haunting rumor. theyre rarely ever true and sometimes deku tags along out of curiosity of how mobs after school job may be like.
deku does eventually meet reigen, and really isnt quite sure what to make of the guy. he finds it odd how he is so insistent that yes, i have a quirk, what are you talking about kid, have you not heard of me??
mob lets deku info dump hero stuff whenever he wants. he doesnt understand most of the stuff but he always loves seeing deku get so passionate abt the things he loves.
he also tries reading some of dekus notebooks when offered and its just him going “lots of words i dont understand” again
at some point mob just starts shoving spare napkins in his pocket for whenever deku needs them. you could say its routine for mob to hand deku a napkin while deku lets out a “thanks” through tears
it worries mob each time though, even if to others it may be obvious happy tears mob always checks to see if deku is ok
speaking of emotions, this is another huge contrast between them. deku is very emotional and isnt afraid to cry in front of people, but can also shut off his emotions in serious times. mob on the other hand has trouble with his emotions and finds trouble expressing what emotions he is in touch with unless its a full blown breakdown. mob is more inclined to burst in situations while deku can remain cool headed.
also, theres probably going to be a time where deku has to calm mob down after hitting a (negative) 100%. with already mentioning mob bringing napkins i think comforting & supporting each other would be a huge thing in their relationship.
but also consider deku causing mob to hit 100% love at some point
deku always feels his stomach churn when mob says he “cant do anything without his powers”. deku probably would acknowledge just how intelligent mob can actually be on his own, especially when dismantling others bad behavior
he sees that first hand where, at first mob was scared of bakugou, but that anxiety quickly turned to irritation when learning about what bakugou has done to deku and what hes witnessed bakugou say about others. of course sometime this leads to an inevitable “why do you put others down?” confrontation
whether mob intentionally did it or not hes able to hit bakugou right where it counts just like he did with teru. and deku is really grateful and looks up to mob to be able to stand up to bakugou like that. and thank god for mobs barrier, or else there probably wouldve been a full blown fight.
thats another thing i think would be big with them, genuine admiration for each other.
fuck man they just love each other a lot
if we’re really smushing canon together, i think mobs experience with mogami would really make him realize just how much deku went through as a kid.
he probably would end up despising bakugou more due to it
they go to pride together!!!
they like taking naps together after stressful days
it takes a while for them to have their first actual kiss bc they are both flustered all the time. mobs probably the one who tries making a move though.
deku helps mob study after learning just how bad mobs grades are. it doesnt really help but mob appreciates dekus help nonetheless.
their respected friend groups get along well!
mob & iida & uraraka have no problem getting along at all. iida would probably like how close to rules mob sticks too, and uraraka would just appreciate mobs company in general. theyre floaty friends.
deku & teru get along fairly well. dekus eyes nearly bulge out of his head when learning how teru & mob met though, and how teru was a lot like bakugou at one point but is now changing for the better.
deku is blown away by the body improvement club and really has a hard time believing these kids are actually his age
they may be workout buddies but they also try to quirk train together, since they both need to try to control their powers better
hey will both post & send each other i love my bf memes
they also text each other late a night a lot. sometimes just small chat about how their day went or comfort if one is feeling bad for whatever reason
mob always gets super worried about deku when he ends up breaking bones due to his quirk
ends up giving lectures n stuff about how he needs to be more careful and how he should care more abt his well being
THATS ANOTHER contrast mobs afraid of hurting others with his quirk while deku hurts himself with his quirk
mob saves up money from his job to get deku surprise presents n stuff
this is all i have...............for now

Alright, HERE we go! Awhile ago I had an idea for a MP100/Voltron crossover, and after mentioning it to @x-i-l-verify and loooots of brainstorming later, we have...*gestures vaguely* this. These are more or less screenshot redraws just to kind of get across who is who. :) More info, reasonings and musings under the cut, because well...it got long...
Teru’s Role: Shiro (Black Paladin)
A year ago, Teruki Hanazawa (around his early twenties in this universe) was chosen for an exploration mission to Kerberos.
Teru was always at the top of his class at the Galaxy Garrison and took the job proudly. He believed he was something special, and it was only right he would be selected for such a prestigious mission.
Then he and his small team got kidnapped by an alien race: an empire called Claw.
He was forced into slavery, forced to fight, to kill, just to survive.
Somewhere along the way, Teru lost his arm. Some time and excruciating experiments later, he had a new one. It made killing easier.
He hates it.
After being forced to endure and commit horrors unimaginable for so long, Teruki Hanazawa realized (you’re horrible, no one is coming to save you, no one cares about you) that he was rather insignificant in the grand scheme of the universe. Being treated like dirt for a year would do that to a guy.
By the time he managed to escape and make it back to Earth, Teru saw himself as nothing more than a commoner.
When the time came for him to lead Voltron, Teru could think of no one less qualified or deserving to pilot the Black Lion than himself. But someone had to do it...
Tome’s Role: Pidge (Green Paladin)
Tome always believed there was something more out there in the stars. She knew there were aliens out there, and she wanted to find them for herself.
Tome believed joining the Galaxy Garrison would be just the way to do it.
There she could train to reach for the stars, not to mention she was able to find suspicious extraterrestrial hints along the way.
She’s pretty tech savvy in this AU because she had the proper drive, resources and training (not as good as Pidge, but still pretty much the group techie).
Further out in the desert, there’s a particular cave covered in strange lion markings that she took interest in...luckily there was a shack nearby where she could frequently visit and organize her findings.
Through a bizarre series of events, Tome finally made it to space.
By the time Tome finally discovered real aliens, she couldn’t be happier.
She just never would have expected how big a role she would have in a massive intergalactic alien war, fighting as the Green Paladin of Voltron.
Shou’s Role: Keith (Red Paladin)
This one’s the most iffy but here we go
Shou is the son of the big boss of Claw in canon, ergo he’s the Emperor's son in this AU. He has no idea about it though.
Shou’s mother, one of Emporor Touicirou’s consorts, began to fear for her unborn son’s life and fled the Claw empire (with the help of this AU’s equivalent of the Blade of Mamora, probably the 7th division crew?? They did defect in canon so...). Shou was born on a far away planet called Earth, and his mother used alien technology to safely disguise them both.
His mother passed away when he was very young. Shou can’t remember what she looks like. All he has left of her is a little knife with a strange symbol on it (subject to change).
Years later, Shou’s adoptive parents enroll him in the Galaxy Garrison, hoping the strict schooling will discipline their mischievous, troublesome child.
Shou is absolutely bored at the Garrison. He is an extremely gifted pilot though.
He sees Tome sneaking around the school sometimes and figures she’s up to no good. He wants in.
Shou and Tome end up searching for aliens together; Shou more because it’s fun and not really having any particular interest in aliens, Tome not knowing that an alien already befriended her (it’s not like he knows either).
Serizawa’s Role: Hunk (Yellow Paladin)
Seri’s still plagued with severe social anxiety, but there are no psychic powers in this AU so he never felt the need to isolate himself to protect others.
Serizawa is a chef in the Garrison cafeteria. This way he has minimal social interaction while still being a positive contributor to society.
This doesn’t stop Reigen from singling him out.
Reigen believes Serizawa makes the best takoyaki around, and kinda takes the guy under his wing after that.
Serizawa suddenly finds himself with a friend to eat lunch with. He’s kind of freaked out by this and thinks it’s a one time fluke, but Reigen keeps coming back and keeps talking to him. Seri quickly warms up to this strange but friendly man.
In order to help Serizawa more with his social anxiety, Reigen has him come sit in on some of his classes once in awhile. Seri ends up as a sort of unofficial Teacher’s Assistant.
Seri’s always terrified the students will hate him and he always brings snacks for the class.
He really has nothing to worry about though. The kids love Serizawa.
Reigen’s Role: Lance (Blue Paladin)
Reigen is a teacher at the Galaxy Garrison, so I guess he’s actually “Shishou” this time around lol.
He teaches history or English or something, since I do see the Garrison as more of a university/school of sorts (Hunk did mention a “principal” in the show), and Reigen wouldn’t be able to handle being a drill sergeant (the guy wouldn’t have the heart to yell at kids all day).
As mentioned before, Reigen noticed Serizawa struggling with anxiety, and one day took it upon himself to kinda help and mentor him.
One day on the way out from working, Reigen and Serizawa catch two students sneaking out of the building past curfew.
They follow Tome and Shou out to their little alien research base, and Reigen confronts them.
Right as Reigen is about to reprimand the kids, a meteor crashes to Earth. Shou and Tome run off to investigate, stealing a hoverbike in the process. As the closest authority figures, Reigen and Serizawa follow and end up as chaperones of sorts for these reckless kids.
Reigen is the true Space Dad in this AU (sorry Teru :P).
Things proceed pretty much as canon Voltron episode 1 from there: they find Teru in the landing site (Tome: “An alien?!” Shou: “Nah, isn’t he that jerk that was always at the top of our class...?” Reigen: “He’s still a kid, and we’re getting him out of here, let’s GO.”), rescue him and regroup back at Tome’s conspiracy shack, the accidental discovery of Blue Lion, Reigen waltzing in and accidentally ending up as her paladin, the crazy flight and wormhole to the castleship (*points to my first picture at the top lol*), the discovery of the “last Alteans in the universe” in cryopods...which leads to...
Mob’s Role: Allura (can pilot all lions, Yellow is his favorite)
Mob is a Prince and was next in line for the throne. Now that he and Ritsu are apparently the last Alteans alive, he’s not sure what to make of it.
He was always insecure and even scared of his impending kingship, or leading in general. He has been trained thoroughly for the role as he grew up, so he’s a more capable and levelheaded guide than canon Mob would be.
He still speaks quite softly, but there is always an earnest strength in his tone that makes others stop and listen instead of talking over him.
Mob is weaker than most Alteans (due to some chronic illness like his anemia from canon) but that doesn’t mean he still can’t fight or throw a person across the room. He’s still very strong by human standards.
He still would prefer to use words instead of physically fighting in any conflict.
Mob is in his early twenties in Earth years, about Teru’s age of mental maturity (sorry he still looks so young in the picture...). They end up bonding over their insecurities in leadership.
Mob also bonds with Serizawa in having natural affinities for Yellow Lion.
The space mice may or may not be small alien cats instead in this AU, not sure.
Mob stumbles out of the Cryopod, dazed and confused. He quickly takes on his role as a guide for the Paladins, and does his absolute best to help them learn to pilot their lions and form Voltron.
Ristu’s Role: Coran (can pilot all lions, doesn’t really have a preference)
Ritsu is Mob’s half brother in this AU. We took some artistic liberties in this, having this make Ritsu as more of a servant/bodyguard to the royal family than as an actual heir (hello, inferiority complex from canon...).
Mob always treated Ritsu like family nonetheless. Ritsu does care about Mob a great deal and guards him with his life.
He’s more around Shou’s and Tome’s age in mental maturity.
Ritsu is...intense for an Altean. He kinda scares everyone a little bit (except for Mob, who’s lived with him as long as he can remember, and Teru, who’s already Seen It All and can’t really be phased by much anymore;;;;; )
Very jumpy. Even more than canon since I imagine being a bodyguard leaves you more on edge than not.
Came out of the Pod fighting like Coran did, and probably took longer to calm down.
He is also the “drill sergeant” in their Voltron training exercises (wiping the floor with everyone and being Mr. Drill Sargent Nasty: "No, Brother, I'm not going too hard on them! Claw isn't going to defeat itself! SHOU GET YOUR ASS BACK IN HERE I SEE YOU TRYING TO SNEAK OUT, DROP AND GIVE ME THIRTY." -thank you for that Xi <3)
Mob brings the juice pouches and guides the quieter, trust building exercises like the maze and mental lions. He is also there to make sure Ritsu doesn’t run the Paladins and himself into the ground.
Mob and Ritsu balance each other rather well in guiding the paladins, actually.
Shou at some point gets it in his head that Ritsu is just a stick in the mud and needs to be befriended. Ritsu’s not too pleased by this, but then eventually does mellow out by some miracle.
In fact, he does grow rather fond of this odd band of humans, and starts thinking that maybe, maybe, his brother really is right in thinking they might be capable of saving the universe...
....well that’s super long for a set-up post, but hey, might as well put the ideas down where I can :’) More to come...probably....

Oh! I think a topic I would love to hear you talk about maybe is...you said something in a post a while ago about mp100 being kind of an asd-related power fantasy? I felt like I understood, but wasn't sure if I understood right because I don't personally relate but I would like to hear more....but if that's weird or I'm misinterpreting that comment ignore that and instead maybe say anything about Mob and Ritsu's relationship from Mob's p.o.v.? Or both is fine too!
yeah sure! blather under cut
hm i guess it’s like, you know, mob is super autism-coded and also he’s The Most Powerful Psychic, and i was surprised by how well the disability superpowerness of that worked for me, on a pure wish fulfillment level—not because i want to level buildings, although, that too, but there’s just something really shallowly gratifying about the sort of constant narrative confirmation that yes, mob is trying his hardest to contain his powers/emotions/whatever, and yes, when he breaks down it’s because the outside world is THAT OVERWHELMING, and his outbursts aren’t purely pathetic or creepy, they compel serious attention from people around him—they’re actual magic! which is only fair since everyone SAID autism was magic—and yet for mob it’s always this awful experience that he wants to get away from, even if it’s also a relief to tire himself out. and the way even the positive emotions are much too much/sort of suspect and, with time, sickening? but yeah. It’s Not His Fault But He’s Going To Wreck Shit Now And He’s Going To Take Responsibility For It After, is the… power fantasy. that’s what a power fantasy is, in my mind. i guess it genuinely is in the sense that it’s like, mob saying he should have a degree of control over himself that doesn’t necessarily seem possible, but which is still his goal to claim. that nice two-directional thing where setting boundaries isn’t just rejecting other people’s weird demands, it’s also asserting a right to make demands of yourself.
also, re: mob on his relationship with ritsu: i was going back and forth with @garden-ghoul the other day over whether or not he really… “figures out ritsu’s deal” post-cleanup arc, meaning, does he figure out that ritsu is a nightmarish onion of bad kinks, and i think the cute thing with mob is it actually doesn’t… matter much to him. what was going through ritsu’s head for three years: who knows. and he’s not wrong not to care? like, sure ritsu has problems but some kinds of tail-chasing emotion aren’t necessarily the better for an airing. part of ritsu’s issue is that self-awareness lets him continue having complicated reactions to his own stupid reactions indefinitely, so like, if talking it out would be helpful, it’s because these things sound dumber and more obviously repetitive when said out loud—it’s not because it’s super important that the person he’s talking to understand it deeply, respond, and then create further reaction emojis in ritsu. sometimes it’s actually better to kind of let that shit fade out. mob is wrong about ritsu being an essentially wonderful person with a great work ethic who went a little astray, but on the other hand, he probably has a more accurate sense than ritsu does of… like… “will ritsu ever be happy again. what would make ritsu happy. ice cream, maybe? ritsu likes sweets!”

(Also Note! *IT IS VERY, VERY, VERY LONG*)
BUT YEAH THESE BOYS *THESE BOYS* THESE BOYS HAVE ALOT TO DEAL WITH AND ALOT OF OPENING UP TO DO (TO EACH OTHER BUT ALSO WITH THEMSELVES HOLY DANG) AND IOUHGG BUT YEAH NOW THEY'RE IN THE PAST AND THEY HAVE TO DEAL WITH THAT PROBLEM/I REALLY HOPE THEY MAKE IT OUT OF THIS OK I REALLY WANT THESE BOYS TO BE HAPPY PLEASE LET THESE BOYS BE HAPPY (Of Course I Don't mean, like, Instantly happy oiuygf that in this situation would Probably be a little crazy but More I mean like they Navigate these waters Ok and make it home (Sometimes Instant relief is Good and Ok but sometimes (especially in stories, Lol ;D;) the also Going through things is important too at times it's Okay I Really want these boys to be ok after all this and after they've been through and everything they still have to deal with and everything going on internally for them I just Really want these boys to make it out ok /u\'' They'll Make it, I think, I hope, I Think they'll make it /u\'''' *Cries softly/calmly but with a hopeful smile*))
Ah, *looks back* that was alot ':D Oh! And as Middyrose said; The Dialogue-Heavyness Fits the current Situation, Lol XD and Lol *Understands what you mean about "writing dialogue makes my mind feel muddy. i like telling how a character is feeling more through the little things they do rather than through the things they think while theyre talking, yknow?"* It's like, At this Time all they can Really do is Talk and Regroup after this, ya know? :3 Plus, what someone says/what they don't say speaks just as much as things they do as Well X3 *Like, choosing what to say/what to leave out is as Much a thing someone does as other ticks n' things? :3* They Way Mob talks about the 'Time travel thing', the various pauses, Word Choice, the Journey through the conversation/the twists and turns it takes as Each person goes through things of their own and process the conversation/bits of info and and (to varying degrees) thinks about/is considerate of/takes into account the person they're having the conversation with Plus the Various ways people Deal with things like comparing and contrasting Everything (New Info, the Other Person, etc.) with what they Previously held as true/what they Do hold as true or compare/contrasting with what they Thought or what they Want and their own reactions to that and oiuytrdfgcvbbn Yeah there's Alot going on with Dialogue XD It's Not just two people spouting info for the audience to hear, Lol XD *ThAT'S when Dialogue Sucks ;D;* Trust me, my friend, the Way you do Dialogue is AWESOME. Everything I mentioned with word choice and pauses and taking into account the other person and Dealing with things through out and twists and turns in conversation - you do it All Beautifully XD 100%, No Doubt, It's Amazing XD
Ritsu coming in with apology (and his Own things with what happened) Not wanting Mob to be Upset but also Him not wanting Himself to be like that/to react like that and Mob still being Upset/locking things away at first (*HHNNNNN*) and the Understanding (but also Acceptance of Ritsu's fear as a solid thing that's still there to a degree (much to Ritsu's upsetness (<- I Tried to think of a better word and there Was none it's just This ;D;) Ritsu's moved on from that in the conversation at the surface level but one can Still tell he's not ok with that/with himself being like that and that's still a thing that sucks ;D;)) but Yeah the Understanding and the Offering of the same feeling but still Not being 100% Ok with it either (oiuhygf *MOB* *CRIES*) but Yeah then Ritsu Offering solutions as a Starting point to spark conversation (something like, say, Demanding things will be ok if they do this or Absolute Faith in a certain thing would have Total other connotations n' such :3 (Not that I think he would *Just as an Example XD*)) and we Also see his Thought process (Lol "his *attitude*" LOL *YES* RITSU YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH OF A GOOD THING IT WOULD BE TO *NOT* HAVE HIM IN THIS RIGHT NOW LOL *CRIES ;D;*) Mob shooting down the idea a bit (Not Meanly or anything just Legit ;D;'''') and the How he refers to Time Travel (Showing he's Super new at it/never seen it before/Ritsu picks up on that making it more Final for him (and for Us, the readers, a bit XD)) and That leaves Ritsu like ". . . well then What do we do?" a little lost cause He has no clue and if Nii-san has no clue then What do we do? also the Wording of it is like "“What should we do then?”" he's Asking Mob like their Dynamic is still there and even if Mob Doesn't know what to do he's still asking him like One Asks someone who Knows more (As opposed to saying "what Do we do", which is more like they're on Equal terms/seen as more Together on equal ground in his Head but with the working that's There the 'what Should we do' that's more like he Still sees Mob as the one in charge sorta or the One who would be the one to come up with the ideas and *asdfghj* Lol yeah ;D;'' (Still on the pedestal a bit ;D;''''')) And Mob Responds to that by (slowly, though) gripping Ritsu's hand back trying to be reassuring/trying to Rise up to the position as 'Older Brother' but with his Wording and the Way he Delivers it it's Still Obvious he isn't very sure of the situation itself (Still the trying to Comfort and Reassure Ritsu is a Thing - Trying to be Hopeful (Also, to note, the lack of him relying on Ritsu in this is a thing; like in episode 11 he was like "Ritsu's here It'll all be ok :)" is a Stark contrast to This like he understands Ritsu a little better too like No, Neither of them really know about this kind of situation not even Ritsu (Him not being like he was in episode 11 is Good for Ritsu a bit cause, Lol, imagine That pressure ;D;''') it might Also be like that cause he's still in a bit of Shock at this kind of situation (this is a Very Bizarre Situation) and it Doesn't cross his Mind as much maybe *Shrugs ¯\_(ツ)_/¯* There's Alot of ways to interpret that XD *Most of which are probably true, in varying degrees*)) Ritsu bringing up the Points that they need to be Careful Plus the fact that he Doesn't think he has his Powers anymore which is a Problem/Plus he doesn't just Blindly go with Mob's sorta-optimism Either ((That goes with the Still Heavy Worry about the situation/maybe some guilt tossed in/also indicative of a slightly negative and/or Realistic personality/world/situation view point) also They've both grown, I think, but it's a little sad, too. . .) the Thing with their Mom coming to check on them happens and That brings to the forefront the current right-now situation again and Ritsu's previous point is dropped/forgotten for now and Mob brings up that they should sleep ("insists softly," Still soft and quiet like but Still insisting not Suggesting - taking a Bit of control in the situation (Older Brother-ish, I'd say, but I Don't think he means it on purpose *It's More they Type of thing where Someone has more Experience so they're like "Yeah let's do this" cause that's their previous experience and they're Solid in that and slightly Authoritative in the matter* (at least, in their own minds 'XD XD))) Ritsu responding with a scowl and “I feel like I’ve slept enough.” rejecting that a little (That has whole connotations Probably Tired of not knowing what to do/The Desire to get out of this situation as Soon as possible/Probably the rejection of Not knowing what to do/Having no clear (or even Fuzzy) idea of a way to get back and just General Frustration (Not a general rejection of/frustration at Mob, though - The response would be totally Different if that were the case) (Plus All This coupled with the admission of still being Tired Show his character/personality/his current state of mind/a bit of Emotional state)) Mob pulling out his Actual experience (as an older sister Myself it's something I've done, where if your younger sibling Doesn't go along with what you suggest you pull out/Give the Example of why what You suggest is the Right Thing - Mob of course doesn't mean it meanly or anything (LOL I know I have >D>'') it's more like, as the wording suggests, "Shigeo advises," is More just giving back up/evidence to show that Yeah sleeping is a good idea right now (this Also shows concern for Ritsu (partly of which is probably subconscious/he's not fully aware of it) with the Yeah sleeping is good for you and I Want you to be ok so Please sleep cause that's what I've found to be Best in this sort of situation (this Also contrasts with Earlier how he wasn't sure what to do at all but Here he' like "Yeah, This." Also supports how Mob's more concerned with the Now Situation/Accepting of what's happened/moving Forward from there/getting things to be Ok That way/being more at Peace with not knowing what to do as opposed to Ritsu who's more Impatient (see the Connotations of him rejecting the Idea of Sleeping, Lol XD) more Diving in headlong right now-like (with the whole Wanting to Relive everything/make sure it's Better so it'll be ok) which is a Very Jumping-in-Headlong decision) and Yeah Ritsu caves after a bit, admitting Mob's right which has Things of it's own/the whole Giving up the way He thought things, but it Also has the consequence of more of that Pedestal action happening and he's dealing with that and maybe Yeah that makes him more tired/wants things to go away to a degree/yeah maybe sleep is an ok idea)) we End with Shigeo Reassuring Ritsu again (More Brotherly concern/Taking the position as Older Brother) and Ritsu still doesn't Like it that much/Doesn't like the waiting, but he accepts it and Now we get the feeling/idea that They're gonna be more Together on this afterwards/Hopefully, at least for a while, no more disparity between the two too much '':3 XD :3
and Wow I Didn't think I'd spend two hours analyzing a Mob and Ritsu conversation but I Did (and I'm Glad I did, Lol! XD) and Lol so Yeah Don't worry you're Still getting alot across Organically/Naturally that Isn't just Thoughts XD (the Thoughts seem to more Supplement what's going on in the Conversation, anyway XD No Worries :3) (*thinks for a bit about the Power she possesses* and Don't Think I won't Do it Again! o3o/// *Analyze Everything to Prove you're still doing Good o3o///* Lol!! XD No worries >:3 >X3)
"also, ive been falling behind a bit on replying to reviews, and im sorry! i try to reply as best i can and say thank you to the ones i feel can be replied to, but lately things in my life have been a bit overwhelming, and so i keep forgetting to reply, especially to longer reviews." *looks up at her Multi-comment review and Sweats* but Lol, No Worries!! XD It's all Good :3 *Honestly it's just Such a Pleasure to Read this that I Already feel Spoiled, my goodness ;D;* Hopefully things work out for you n' such! :3 And LOL DON'T WORRY about anything *Take your Time, We don't mind,* it's a little Fun to worry for a bit about your favorite characters/to Wonder at what's gonna happen next XD (Gives the Finding Out a Certain Sweet Taste that's Hard to get otherwise XD) So No Worries :3 *Take your Time X3*
Good Luck with things, No worries, and oiugcf See you Next Chapter!! >:D XD *sdfhgj IS SO EXCITED //o3o// XD* (*SCREAMS* LET MY BOYS BE OK *CRIES HER EYES OUT ;D;*)
-End Comment :3c
