see, THIS is why I am so patiently impatient because the way you understand Sanji is the exact way I do too!! I can't help but notice the way he's just so full of love and care and I love that in characters, when they face horrible situations but still treat others with love and kindness – bonus if they don't expect it back. Like cmere my baby boy, I will shower you with all the love YOU DESERVEEE TT.TT

HII~! I'm sorry for the delayed response. I just got my laptop charger last night. My dog is a terrorist and likes to eat my chargers when I don't pay attention to her.

That being said, I haven't been writing cause I've been mobile. ;~; I know a lot of people write their fics on their phone but for some reason my brain likes a bigger screen so I can see where I'm going with the story. I go back to read a lot because i have bad memory, and want my prose to read fluidly. *babbling forever* But I have the weekend! So i'll be working on it bit by bit.

I have not started on the prompts you sent me yet but I do want to do that Ace one because I think it would be a quick little short exercise to flex my writing muscles! So I'll be doing that one this weekend while working on the Sanji slow burn.

I love the Zoro one you sent me....because it seems like so much fun LMAO And I love messing with Zoro but that one is going to be LENGTHY. Because...I am obsessed with putting Zoro in difficult situations. So that one will take time too.

I do have a Soulmate AU request for Zoro someone sent that's cuuuute. I may do a lil short thing for that too. So I have many WIPs. I should make a list and put in my pinned post? Idk whoever is interested lol.

I do not miss exams ;~; I've been doing better! My health is touch and go, and we had that Hurricane scare (I live in Florida) but so far the coast is clear? Good luck with studying and your exams <3 although I have a feeling you're doing to do great.

currently watching: i'm in the middle of so many shows.. bcs for one, then there's black sails, russian doll, killing eve s4 (which idk if i should continue watching =.=), what we do in the shadows, attorney woo, rewatch of elementary LOL they're all slowly getting watched whenever i feel like i need something new....... all of the shows i listed in the beginning need so much commitment to fully enjoy them so it takes forever for me to start watching again, but then when i start watching i can't stop. and when i do stop i don't pick up for a while gjhdfhgd

currently reading: I'm still making my way through house of leaves shfhgfhg i was reading it and then the entire month of july happened, so. yeah. i haven't picked that one up again yet. Though I'm reading an e-book of Mohōhan (模倣犯, The Copycat) by Miyuki Miyabe. It was a book popular among my friends in middle school (maybe just that one friend LOL idk), and I saw a copy of it in korea when i visited a used book store! I thought about buying it but there was no way i can bring it back with my single backpack so I bought an e-book and started reading it and it's. it's good so far. Idk if I like japanese novels or i just like reading novels in korean -- that part is unknown but I wanna try to get more contemporary korean novels after this! Oh. yeah. the book is about girls going missing & this guy who went through his entire family getting massacred finding the body part of one of the missing girls... and the story goes from there. it's a murder mystery so far. but also it's not a story dealing with a mystery so great and complex, but more with the psychological state of the victim's families, the boy's, the society's reactions, etc. etc. not sure why it's called The Copycat, but there are two more volumes of this to go through and i'm only on the first one >_<

current obessions: obsessed with home improvement/decor atm LOL bc i'm at a new apartment. The post about getting a microwave/air fryer/oven combo...... I'm still on that lmaoooo. I also just finished covering up the fuse box?circuit breaker thingie? the grey ugly box on the wall with a mushroom tapestry and i feel immense satisfaction. I think i need to get a lamp that looks like a mushroom and complete my mushroom shrine in this area tbh. If I can't find one I'll make one idgaf

I knew the previous tenants and they left us a lot of furniture, but they're either busted or just WAY too dark and heavy and it making the place look so much smaller/darker.. so I might get a new coffee table and a cover for the couch bc DARK BROWN couches make it look so depressing 😭 currently it's covered with flat sheets lmaooo but it doesn't stay in place so I'll prob get a cover sometime soon. I need to get more lighting fixtures for the place as well bc the lights on the ceiling are so strangely placed + ALL of them are different in temperatures and it's driving me slightly crazy. But all of this needs to happen without going over budget so I'll prob check out a thrift/antique store I saw downtown

I finally figured out how to play games on my TV yifjdhf did u know u can stream whatever's going on on your laptop to the TV without any cables involved????? I didn't know either but I figured it out yesterday and played some of the kitty catty game. I thought I'd be bad at it bc games in first person/games where I have to react fast and press multiple buttons are so hard lmfao but Legend of Zelda has been building my game confidence and playing Stray last night was a p enjoyable activity.

One of these days... I will figure out how tumblr works (finally) and make actual posts y'know. (Currently the only thing I'm struggling with is figuring out how to like, make links that don't take up the entire page, but rather are hidden with words. Can you do that on the mobile app? Or do I need to use my laptop and NO HTML knowledge whatsoever to try and get it? If anybody who knows sees this [frankly barely a handful of people, I know] please educate me I will actually thank you so much.) I will write and refuse to not write.

Out of everything I've been doing lately, me finishing a bunch of stuff from my Genshin WIP checklist is like my proudest moment ever. The wordcount and green coloured boxes are increasing exponentially. This means, however, I gotta make a masterpost of all of my Genshin fics once I actually do finish that enormous checklist in my spreadsheet. I think that me pinning that post will label me as either a madman or a traitor lmaooo, since I am not playing Genshin anymore nor will I ever return, but I think also making an introduction post with more links would be handy for that. That way I can categorize the fandoms I have written for, and what my interests are ig.

(side-tangent: I still don't entirely get how sideblogs work? Like I've made one and deleted it after I saw that it was not allowing me to detach this blog from that one, but like... is it useful for anything else? Like genuinely some people have sideblogs that seem so unrelated to their main blog and I'm worried that maybe I'm just horribly incompetent with technology atp. I should look up "how to tumblr" tutorials on youtube or somewhere man. Wikihow my next best friend, huh.)

This is more of a personal account anyway, but I'd like to think I could end up making some friends via tumblr only, rather than sit around in discord servers hoping for the best. Maybe participation in fandom is also gonna be good? I'd like to be a part of this thing that I'd never really had a chance to explore fully because I'd been too socially awkward to be anything more than a ghost when I was younger.

I wanna write. I wanna see whether people like my writing, whether it resonates; whether I can do justice to the work that inspired me to write it. I wanna have discussions with people about things.

It's such a large and exciting world out there, and I wanna see it. I wanna see it even if I end up flying too close to the sun and sink into the depths of oblivion.

At least then, I'd have seen it.

What's your writing process? For prompts vs fics, is there a difference? I write slower than a hungover sloth on valium so I'm amazed at your output.

this is such a fun question!!!! and i'm surprised I come off as writing a lot fast, I feel like sometimes it takes me forEVVVERRRR. I definitely have different writing processes for prompts vs fics. depending on how long it is, fics can usually take me anywhere from a week (if it's a shorter one-shot) to a whole month (if it's a long fic or it's giving me pain for some reason). prompts RARELY take me more than a day of off-and-on writing to finish, and I kinda just write them whenever I get inspiration for a prompt i've had for a while. (when I say a while I mean it, I still have prompts in my inbox from 3 years ago LMAOOO)

long fics I basically just add stuff too when I have inspiration or ideas. I have soooo many random notebook pages I wrote whole fic scenes in on the beach or during zoom class or something, and sooo many random notes on my phone that just have like one line of dialogue I thought of on the train or something lmao. I tend to work on prompts more when i'm working on a longer fic, because it's weirdly helpful? (and I also get antsy if I haven't posted something for a while) it like keeps my ability to write newt and hermann Sharp. or also when i'm really busy I like to just do prompts because they're nice stress relievers.

I also write in Word these days, I used to only do google docs before I finally upgraded to a better laptop for grad school LOL. and I prefer to do my writing outside as long as it's not like freezing out (either on a porch/deck, or in seating outside st*rbucks so I can get a bunch of dragon drinks :/)
