I haven't really shared any of my classwork yet, but I am quite happy with this WIP, so here we go!
Layout for a project that involves incorporating 500 shapes into a composition based on an emotion. I'm planning to make the bottom area into fancy and pointy rose bushes.
This was done on 9 x 12" paper, but the final piece will be on a big honking 18 x 24" bristol board.
Heck, why not? Prior to this, we were asked to draw out 15 thumbnails that the class would vote on to become the final project. Here's what I came up with.
I liked a lot of these, so whenever I have time again, I'll probably turn some of them into illustrations!

So I made a thing:
I play a mobile game called Epic 7, and it lets you make your own profile cards. So today I decided to spend over an hour making Alastor.
By the way, this was not drawn. This was made by layering shapes.
A lot of shapes.
