this thing i’ve learned after a few years in fandom is whenever something good and fun happens, there’s always some stupid discourse that people stir up within like 3-4 hours so the move is to enjoy the fun stuff, celebrate online with your fandom friends for a couple hours max and then log out and stay offline for at least the rest of the day
