im so crazy over the tragedy of everything q!bbh does being under a demon pretense even though he's a fallen angel.

do u think he just accepts the demon label because it's easier. do u think he believes it too, and catches himself in his thoughts with "oh, right. im not exactly that". and maybe he believes that he did this to himself? do u think what he did was to protect himself or someone? no matter the fall, he still has so much kindness to give and his brain just isn't wired the way a natural-born demon would be, he can't hold back instincts when time demands it, maybe that's why he fell in the first place.

and when he's finally bad, not good, it's treated like the end of the world, without empathy on why he would act out. do you think this keeps happening? the same scenario, multiple times, every timeline? he has to be used to it. so he has to take it in stride. he's good until he lashes out under extreme pressure, and suddenly he's called demon. and once again he's what heaven made him out to be. what he made himself to be, his brain would ruthlessly provide...

i don't think he wants to be that, though he hides secrets behind secrets of which neither identity is a home... but i don't think he wants to have to change, either. and i don't think that's wrong of him.

with the focus on the revolving door again in ep 16, i just want to say a little smth abt the door as an autistic person myself.

i know some ppl are frustrated with wyw's difficulty in using the door, saying it infantilizes her and that "she's a 27 year old lawyer, she's seen a revolving door before, she knows how they work." but the thing is, it's not abt her being familiar with revolving doors at all. at least not in the way you think. it's not "oh look at this lady, she doesn't understand this door bc she's autistic." it's a sensory issue.

autism affects our senses and the way we process them. what many allistics don’t understand about autism is that we’re not just overly sensitive to sounds and bright lights. we can be underly (is that a word??) sensitive to stimulus as well and have a hard time controlling our senses. this includes all seven senses. that right, seven. there’s the five you know, but also two you probably don’t: the vestibular sense and proprioception. these two have to do with body awareness, balance, and spatial orientation. that’s why many of us walk “weirdly” (if i ever catch you saying someone walks weirdly i am coming into your house and punching you in the face) or are clumsy. we have issues with our bodies in relation to the world around us and often have a hard time balancing. i walk into walls all the time and miscalculate and walk into doorways instead of through them. 

so it’s not that wyw doesn’t understand the social concept of a revolving door, but that they’re difficult to navigate through due to her vestibular and proprioceptive sensory issues. i myself have a hard time with revolving doors! so pls no more “this makes her look dumb” or “this is so unrealistic”. if wyw is bad representation and is stupid for having problems with a revolving door, then i’m an unrealistically stupid autistic that walks into walls.

I feel like SV girlies haven't seriously considered "codependent mutually obsessive JuliNemo" yet and that's a shame, really. I've seen a lot of wholesome ChampionRank (really cute but a rehash of every wholesome yuri I've ever seen, not much original content here and that's okay) and one-sided obsessive yandere!Nemona ChampionRank (REALLY do not like the villainization of Nemona's neurodivergence but eh, you can do whatever you want forever) but not as much "these two get on like a house on fire. and boy, it's dry season" ChampionRank.

Where is "battle-hungry socially starved trainwrecks who have no one but each other" JuliNemo. Where is "oh god these two exacerbate each others issues into the stratosphere and this can only end in disaster but I can't look away" JuliNemo. Where is "bringing out the worst in each other and scaring the hoes" JuliNemo. Where is "you two are perfect for each other. Never change, just never involve anyone else in any of this" JuliNemo. A puck ricochets off the boards and, like clockwork, the newbie drops. 

“That one didn’t even come close to him,” Percy mutters as he sweeps by on the ice, circling around behind the net. Nico’s shoulder twitches, though he doesn’t look. 

The newbie stays down. Coach Brunner squats beside him, putting a hand gingerly on his back. Newbie flinches. 

“He shouldn’t be playing if he can’t handle it,” Nico mutters, averting his eyes only when Newbie raises his head back up. 

Percy’s side-eye is a physical sensation on the side of his face. “He can get used to it. The season hasn’t even started yet, man, we gotta give him a chance.” 

That’s fucking bullshit. Nico tightens his grip on his stick and does not snap, because it’s not Percy’s fault their rookie is inept. Percy doesn’t deserve Nico’s outrage. He’s trying his best. 

Newbie’s shaking so bad, Coach has him go sit on the bench to calm back down. The rest of the team have started doing their drills in slow-motion, their heads all turned to stare at the incident. 

A distraction. The newbie is a fucking distraction, Nico can’t handle a distraction right now, not when Connor and Chris need to work out their passes, not when Charlie and Mike need to get their shit together in the defensive zones. 

Nico slams his stick blade-first into the ice, cracking silence through the dull buzz. Attention, fucking finally, turns back to him. 

“Focus on your work,” Nico says, as threatening as he can. “Are you going to be this distracted midgame? No? Didn’t fucking think so.” 

Activity resumes. Nico throws his mask back down over his face and does not meet Percy’s eyes, when he starts taking mean, hard-to-block shots. 

(Nico also does not look at Newbie, who put his head down again the second Nico’s stick hit the ice. Right now, that's not his fucking problem. If the guy can't get his goddamn head on right, Nico doesn't have the space to give two shits.)

Talking about this on tumblr because there is no way I'm comfortable talking about this on CJFS itself. Also not using the standard tags coz I'm TERRIFIED of people's reactions, though not coz of the people themselves, moreso our paranoia.

For a while now, me and my friends have noticed how CJFS treats fictives/factives. Mainly Chonny factives and HMSW fictives. I myself am a Chonny factive (Jash here, writing this with Russ) and I'm scared shitless to talk with my Pluralkit proxy on CJFS. Why? Because singlets tend to be,,, weird with other fictives/factives for lack of a better term. From what my friends have told me and they've experienced, CJ-related fictives/factives often get either grossly sexualised or treated parasocially, or are judged based on either our sources (including AUs we come from) or the actions of the character we are partially sourced from in CCCC. If we are not CJ-related fictives/factives, apparently people get ignored and tend to get the general overly comfortable singlet treatment. It's exhausting to our friends and terrifying to me. I'm sourced from Chonny Jash, I'm formed from the big Mr. Jash himself, and I'm fucking scared to be treated as if I am him. One of our friends is a mod/former mod (idk which atm, amnesia kicks in hard for us) and we know about the ways in which some people treat Chonny. I don't want to be treated like that.

This is all one big rant to tell singlets to STOP TREATING US LIKE OUR SOURCES, WE ARE REAL FUCKIN PEOPLE AND WILL LIKELY NOT BE HOW YOU INITIALLY VIEW US! Also, stop using fictives for you weird sex fantasies, we aren't the character you want to wank off to and we aren't some pornstar, christ

I haven't read the Prince Lestat books and to be honest I don't know if I ever will, but I feel like even book!Lestat's ending shouldn't have just been him 'returning to his former home in France to act out some would-be vampire hierarchy'. Not even because I consider him to be some sort of exquisite exception or special vampire in the way that Anne probably did, but because the notion of him returning to his old family home makes little sense to me at all, based off of what it represented to him. Namely his terrible upbringing on account of his family's neglect and abuse, that in spite of (but also because of) he returned to take care of his old father (while also verbally berating him when he could). He also can't straighten out his own life even when it literally depended on that, so I can't take the monarchy angle seriously at all.

I hate the idea of people trying to use parallels between tai and raven and yang and blake as proof bb was planned from the start. I have seen people talking about how raven may have left due to fear over not being good enough for the mom stuff given that raven said summer is better at it.

besides the possibility of that being something that was added to v9. it doesnt really change that by v6 blacksun recieved 5 volumes of teasing mutual attraction and development with v4 containing multiple romantic tropes. In contrast bb got no moments that hinted at romance . At that point even if its true that bb was planned from the start the best writing decision would have been to go with blacksun at that point.

I feel like people need to remember that just because something was planned from the beginning doesn't mean it's done well.

BB very well could've been planned from the beginning. I dunno that, fans dunno that, the only people who know that are Monty and MK.

But if we do take their word for it, then that just makes BB's writing even worse, because they had all this time to properly develop these two, and instead they chose to focus all the trauma on BB and then had the two heal from it with other people.

Blake's fear of losing her friends and self-hatred was helped by Sun and her parents. Yang's abandonment issues and grief over losing her arm and potential crush was helped by Weiss and Tai. By the time the two reunited, they had done most of the hard work, and the only thing that they could do together was stop Adam. By killing him.

Self defense, murder, wahtever, they still took a life and barely changed because of it. This wasn't two coming together and healing from a tragedy, these are two people who separated, became better, got back together and proceeded to go through more trauma without ever talking about it.

There's a reason so many people quote Jello's quote of Yang and Blake not talking their way into being girlfriends. It's cause it's true. Even the bridge scene in V9 didn't tackle the actual meat of the relationship and instead spouted surface level compliemtns that weren't even true.

Blake did give up on people who hurt her. Yang was never intimidating to people. The only people who called her intimidating were her team. Rather than talking about what they been through, what it really meant when Blake ran away and Yang was alone, and having them come to an understanding of each other, they just went for the easiest things.

thinking about what rubs me so wrong about the writing of furiae really felt like "woman who really only has control over her own mind and fantasies, hardly unable to do anything than what's expected as her both as a goddess and a woman" and how the way the staff viewed the writing of furiae as "woman who can't do anything"
