Is Toothpaste Making You Break Out?
It’s a routine we all follow religiously, twice a day, every day: brushing our teeth. But could this daily habit be the hidden cause behind those persistent breakouts around your mouth and chin? Surprisingly, certain ingredients found in many toothpaste formulas are known to irritate the skin and potentially lead to acne. Let’s delve into which toothpaste ingredients might be causing your skin…

This was the original "trust the science" because it's good for us, but not quite.
Fluoride is actually an industrial hazardous waste product (HAZMAT). If you asked me for a glass of water, and I put some Sodium Fluoride in it, I would definitely get arrested for it, It's also illegal to dump fluoride into our lakes and rivers, but it is perfectly fine to put in our drinking water and toothpaste?

The Federal Government is meeting this week to decide what we’re gonna put in the drinking water instead of Fluoride. There’s nothing wrong with Fluoride, it's just that we settled on Fluoride when we knew about fewer chemicals. So we're gonna try something else for a bit and see if it's worse or better. Some suggestions we received in-house before we opened this to the public include Fluorine, Estrogen, Somatotropin, Carbonic Acid, Testosterone, Sodium Pentothal, and Bouillon Cubes. So don't say any of those, we don't want doubles. It's not a vote yet, we're just mapping the space

I get that a lot of people might not know the Halogen family very well, but Fluorine... My beloved <3
It can melt through concrete. Sodium fluoride prevents tooth decay in small doses. It also exists in a solid state, as calcium fluoride, inside Antozonite - which is beautiful.
Two people got injured from its discovery - the actual person who inhaled some hydrogen fluoride, and his brother - but neither of them died. Pretty sure other people were harmed in its classification process and that goes to show you how crazy it is that went and kept studying it. Don’t let their sacrifices be in vain!
It’s Lucifer’s Gas people! Come on. This is the Hellsite. It should win by default.
if any non radioactive element were to secretly be a demon of some sort, it'd be fluorine.

Some help for fellow Phlebotomy students!
This is the saying that helps me remember the order of draw for venipuncture:
Yellow (blood cultures)
Light (PT, PTT, Coagulation)
Stop (Chemistry testing)
Green (Any plasma test except plasma cells)
Light (Blood group, Carbon Monoxide levels, CBC)
Go (Glucose, Lactic acid, Blood alcohol levels)
And then these are the tubes and their functions!
