BOGOTADC 014 -017 Lo primero , que tuve que aprender, para llegar a decidirme por el arte o el diseño , fué , que ninguna de las dos disciplinas, puede desempeñarse plenamente , sin , la técnica adecuada . Son tan codependientes, como los humanos de la madre tierra . Y sin embargo . Insitimos en separar.los.las. Con el aprendizaje de un visionario como el profe edwin , quién no tuvo el mayor reparo en transminirnos esa naturalidad de crear arte con problemas, sí, tal vez para darles solución (Que es lo que pega y vende ) , tal vez , para meterse en ellos y navegar mas profundo y cerca de los demás, pero no con los demás (eso sí 😅) … De este laboratorio , junto a las chicas de aguja de surcir, colectivo ganador de una beca de arte fuga , para el parqueadero bogotá. Salió el primer dispositivo espía , o franquestein , como se llamó el taller , a cuya entrega de resultados , y luego de unos 3 meses de esfuerzo independiente y resitencia desde el diseño sotenible .llegué, yo .dramezcaline. Con lo que en se entonces era un prototipo funcional sin tecnologia de 01.Bogothrash. El vestuario joya , y la capa como emblema de protección hacia un clima de temperaturas cambiantes y tonos frios . Y claro la capa… por que la capa y los tonos oscuros .ummr digamos que sentía , muy adentro de mí , que , el trabajo colectivo de fantasma desde el abisal , me dejó sin vos ni voto . Esa era y fué mi revancha creativa. Ha , 🤔 , que si me gustan los grupos interdisciplinares ? , pues claro , pero , en los que cada uno , asume su responsabilidad . Y no se dicen mentiras !!!

Kick-Activated Stun Boots

What is this?

This boot is specially designed for women to defend themselves against attacker. Many women is the victim of sexual assault and gender-based violence. Currently, India has emerged as the most dangerous country in the world for women, women got raped while going to toilet, going home late etc.There are bunch of self-protecting products in the market that designed for women to protect themselves from danger, such as rape alarm, pepper spray etc. However, these product may not help while there is physical scuffles. My idea is to design a product that help women gain advantage over the attacker in a physical scuffles. The “Kick-Activated Stun Boots” is designed to be a boot, so the boot will stick to the foot of the wearer firmly during a fight. When the danger is approaching, the wearer can activate the high voltage circuit on the sole, create electric shock and stun the attacker by kicking the attacker.

How does it work?

The whole circuit is installed in the sole because it is conductive. Since the boot is designed for daily wear, tiny and lightweight soft-circuit is employed. The power supply, micro-controller, sensor and high voltage module are hidden inside the boot’s heel. Accelerometer senses the “kick” motion of the wearer, then send the data to the micro-controller. Micro-controller will trigger the high voltage module to generate high voltage to the output on the surface of the sole. The output is using conductive thread and conductive materials such as metal. Once the conductive materials touches the attacker, he/she will be stunned and not able to move for a while.

Besides from defending, this shoe can also use as an electric mosquito swatter. Very worth buying.
