Secret Crush
Plot: Bakugou has a secret crush on Y/N, a healer. After she helps him, Kirishima pushes him to confess his feelings, leading to a new connection between them.
Tumblr media
Bakugou Katsuki was known for his explosive personality and fierce determination. But beneath his tough exterior, there was a softer side that only a few people had glimpsed. One person who had unknowingly captured this softer side was Y/N. Y/N was a calm and sweet person whose quirk was like a blessing. She could heal both herself and others, no matter how serious the injury.
The students of U.A. High School admired Y/N for her kindness and healing abilities, and she had a natural way of soothing people. Bakugou, who usually kept to himself, found himself drawn to Y/N. He admired her from afar, never quite able to figure out how to express his feelings. To him, she was like a quiet light in the midst of chaos.
One day, during a training session, Bakugou accidentally injured his arm during a particularly intense exercise. As usual, he tried to brush off the pain, but it was clear he was struggling. Y/N noticed his discomfort from across the room and approached him with a gentle smile.
“Let me help,” Y/N said softly.
Bakugou grunted in response but reluctantly extended his injured arm. As Y/N placed her hands over the wound, a warm glow emanated from her, and the pain seemed to melt away. Bakugou stared at her, a mix of embarrassment and gratitude in his eyes.
Kirishima Eijiro, Bakugou’s close friend, watched the exchange with growing curiosity. He had always been observant of his friends, and it wasn’t lost on him how Bakugou’s usual gruff demeanor seemed to soften around Y/N. Kirishima decided to dig a little deeper, not entirely sure what he would find but certain there was more to Bakugou’s feelings than met the eye.
Later that day, Kirishima cornered Bakugou in the common area of the dorms. “Hey, Bakugou,” he said casually, “you seemed pretty into Y/N today. Everything alright?”
Bakugou, caught off guard, scowled. “What are you talking about? I just needed my arm fixed. Nothing more.”
Kirishima raised an eyebrow, not buying Bakugou’s tough act. “I’ve seen the way you look at her. It’s not just about her healing you. You’ve got a thing for her, don’t you?”
Bakugou’s face turned a deep shade of red, and he growled in frustration. “Shut up, shitty hair! It’s not like that. I—” He trailed off, unable to find the right words to express himself.
Kirishima chuckled. “You don’t need to admit it to me. It’s pretty clear that you care about her. Just, maybe try not to be so hard on yourself. If you like her, maybe you should let her know.”
Bakugou huffed but seemed to ponder Kirishima’s words. The next day, during another training session, he found himself once again in need of Y/N’s help. As she healed him, he gathered the courage to speak up.
“Y/N,” he began awkwardly, “I, uh, I just wanted to say thanks. For everything. You’re…you’re really amazing.”
Y/N looked at him with a warm smile. “You don’t need to thank me, Bakugou. I’m just happy to help.”
Bakugou’s heart raced, and he finally managed to admit, “I don’t just mean thanks for the healing. I… I really appreciate you. More than you might know.”
Y/N’s eyes widened in surprise and delight. “Bakugou, I didn’t know you felt that way.”
Bakugou shrugged, trying to play it cool but failing miserably. “Yeah, well, I guess I’m not very good at this.”
Y/N smiled even wider. “That’s okay. I’m glad you told me.”
From that day on, things between Bakugou and Y/N began to change. They started spending more time together, and Bakugou found himself slowly opening up more. Kirishima watched with a grin, glad to see his friend finally letting his softer side shine through. And while Bakugou and Y/N’s journey was just beginning, it was clear that something special was growing between them, thanks to the gentle healing touch of a kind-hearted hero and the unexpected feelings of a stubborn, explosive one.

First Kiss
Your first kiss with Katsuki was overwhelming…
The two of you have been friends since U.A. You’ve gotten so close over past couple years to the point where if your friends saw you they expected him not to be far behind and vice versa.
Best friends, that’s what you’ve settled with because you know Kat had 0 interest in you outside of that. You’ve seen the girls he’s hooked up with and you did not fit that type at all.
And don’t get it wrong, you loved being his best friend. He taught you stand up for yourself and you’d taught him how to speak to people with some level of respect. You guys were good together… yin and yang you liked to think
One night, you’re leaving a hangout you guys had at Mina’s place and Kat is walking you home. It was cool out that night and the moon was shining so bright you could still see the clouds in the sky. Apparently you had been gotten lost looking up at it.
“Oi, earth to y/n…. Get your ass moving. I’m exhausted and I’m ready to get home.”
When you come back to reality and look at him, he does look tired. It was almost 11:30pm and Kat had a strict bed time of 9:30…. 10 if he was feeling frisky.
“You do realize I don’t need you to walk me home. I’m a pro hero. I think I can take care of myself”
“Psh…. It’s not a criminal I’m worried about taking you out. It’s your clumsy ass coordination. You’re going to end up offing yourself if you don’t learn how to walk like an adult”
Ok so yea… maybe you had sprained your ankle last year while walking up some stairs. That’s wasn’t your fault tho… it was the stair ‘s fault.
“Are you ever gonna let that go?? Isn’t it getting a little old?”
“It still makes me laugh so nope…”
You rolled your eyes at him. He’s such a dick.
You were now walking up the same previously mentioned stairs to your apartment with Katsuki on your heels.
“ Are these the tights you were talking about the other day?? The ones that make your ass look “the best it’s ever looked””
“ Yea!!! Doesn’t it look amazing??!? I gave Mina the link while we were at her house because she mention how fantastic they looked on me”
“Sure I guess. I ain’t seen anything your ass doesn’t look good in but whatever you say”
You didn’t know what to say to that. He was just upfront like that. The man had little to no filter. Thank god you were at your door. You were unlocking it and about to go inside..
“Wait”
You turned around to look at him.
“What’s up”
“I uhm… well….”
“Come on, spit it out. I ain’t got all night”
He stared you directly in your eyes and said
“Fuck it”
Before you had time to react you were pressed up against the wall and his lips were on yours. Calling what happened a kiss seemed to be a real understatement. It was more like he was consuming you. More so than he already had. You got lost in him. Your hands were in his hair and his arms were around your waist pressing you against him.
When he pulled away you found yourself chasing his lips because you were afraid if it stopped, it might never start again.
“Next time, instead of bitching to raccoon eyes about how you don’t think you’re my type, just come straight to me dumbass. Since when do you keep secrets from me?”
You were really trying to pull your train of thought together but it was really hard when his lips still looked so inviting.
Kat realizes you’re not paying attention to him and flicks you in the forehead.
“Hey asshole. You know I hate when you do that”
“Then pull yourself together. I know I kiss like a god but that doesn’t mean you get to space out.”
He was smirking at you. Katsuki Bakugo had just kissed you and was now standing in front of you looking all suave and handsome. If you died here, you’d die a very happy person.
Your brain started playing catch and you realized something
“So you were eavesdropping on a private conversation?? And I wasn’t bitching… she was asking about you and me yet again and I was explaining to her that I didn’t think it’d ever happen”
You said the last part a little softer because you were embarrassed talking about all of this
“I wasn’t eavesdropping… it was shitty hair. Idk what you think my type is but apparently you got it all wrong”
He does not elaborate or tell you that you are his type. He just leaves it at that so you side step it
“I’m gonna kill Eiji…”
You guys sit there for a second until
“Anyways I’m tired . I’m going home to salvage the little bit of sleep I am going to get tonight. See ya later.”
And he turned to leave. Just like that.
“So that’s it… you kiss me, reveal my biggest secret and leave”
All you can do is sit there befuddled and confused.
“Yep. See ya tomorrow”
Katsuki actually leaves after that. He was not playing about his sleep. You do get a message about 10minutes later letting you know he’s home and also requesting the link to the tights you had on that night.
You ask him why he needs that and all he says is that you need them in more colors than just black… ha! You knew your ass looked good in these!
*you do not know until weeks later that in his head, that kiss was the start of y’all’s relationship. Asshole never does actually ask you but what else do you really expect from the angry Pomeranian?🤷🏾‍♀️

the unseen heart (pt. 2)
Tumblr media
weeks after the interrupted confession, y/n tries to move on, but their feelings for bakugo remain strong. they continue to interact, with bakugo showing small signs of change and consideration.
----
weeks passed since your confession, and life at U.A. high continued as usual. you buried yourself in training and missions, trying to distract yourself from the unresolved feelings lingering in your heart. but despite your best efforts, you couldn’t shake the memory of that interrupted conversation with bakugo.
one evening, as you were heading back to the dorms after a particularly tough training session, you saw bakugo sparring alone in the gym. his intensity and determination were palpable, and you found yourself drawn to him once again.
you leaned against the doorframe, watching him in silence. each punch and kick was executed with precision, his movements a testament to his unwavering dedication. finally, he paused, noticing your presence.
"what are you staring at?" he barked, wiping sweat from his brow.
you straightened up, a small smile playing on your lips. "just admiring your technique, bakugo. you never fail to impress."
he scoffed, though there was a hint of a smirk on his face. "tch. you should be focusing on your own training, not watching me."
you chuckled softly. "i was just finishing up. anyway, i wanted to talk to you about… what happened a few weeks ago."
bakugo's expression hardened, and he looked away. "not now. i'm busy."
your heart sank, but you nodded, not wanting to push him. "alright. maybe another time."
as you turned to leave, bakugo's voice stopped you. "wait."
you looked back, hope flickering in your chest. "yeah?"
he hesitated, his usual confidence faltering for a moment. "that thing you said… about having feelings for me. why?"
you blinked, surprised by the question. "why? because… you're strong, determined, and you never give up. you inspire me, bakugo. even if you're rough around the edges, i see the good in you."
bakugo's eyes narrowed, as if he were trying to gauge the sincerity of your words. "you're not just saying that?"
you shook your head, stepping closer. "no. i meant every word."
for a moment, he was silent, then he sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. "i… don't know how to deal with this. i've never been good at this kind of stuff."
you took another step closer, your heart pounding. "you don't have to have all the answers right now. i just wanted you to know how I feel. whatever happens next, we can figure it out together."
bakugo looked at you, his usual bravado replaced with uncertainty. "fine. but don't expect me to change overnight."
a smile tugged at your lips. "i wouldn't dream of it. just… take it one step at a time?"
he nodded, a small smirk appearing. "yeah, one step at a time."
--
over the next few weeks, things between you and bakugo slowly began to change. he wasn't exactly warm or affectionate, but he made an effort to be more considerate. he would spar with you more often, offering tips and advice, and sometimes you'd catch him watching you with that same unreadable expression.
one day, during a particularly challenging training exercise, you found yourself paired with bakugo. the task was to navigate a series of obstacles and reach the goal as a team. you both started off strong, but halfway through, you misjudged a jump and ended up dangling from a ledge.
"hang on, y/n!" bakugo shouted, rushing to your side.
you tried to pull yourself up, but your strength was failing. "i can't-"
before you could finish, bakugo grabbed your arm and hoisted you up with surprising gentleness. you landed on solid ground, panting, and looked up at him in gratitude.
"thanks, bakugo. i owe you one."
he grunted, his expression softer than usual. "just focus on not falling next time. let's go."
you nodded, and together you completed the exercise. as you reached the goal, a sense of accomplishment and camaraderie filled the air. bakugo turned to you, his usual scowl replaced with a rare, genuine smile.
"good job, y/n. you did well."
your heart swelled at his words, and you felt a surge of hope. maybe, just maybe, things were starting to change.
--
one evening, you found yourself on the rooftop again, staring at the stars. the door creaked open, and you turned to see bakugo stepping out, a rare look of contemplation on his face.
"bakugo? what are you doing up here?"
he shrugged, leaning against the railing beside you. "needed some air. what about you?"
you smiled, looking back at the night sky. "just thinking. it's peaceful up here."
for a moment, you both stood in comfortable silence, the cool breeze rustling your hair. then bakugo spoke, his voice unusually soft.
"y/n, about what you said… i think i understand a bit better now."
you looked at him, surprised. "really?"
he nodded, his gaze fixed on the stars. "yeah. i've been thinking about it a lot. and… i guess i don't hate the idea of us being together."
your heart skipped a beat, and you took a step closer. "bakugo, are you saying…?"
he turned to face you, his eyes serious. "i'm saying that i want to give this a try. i can't promise i'll be perfect, but… i want to try."
tears of joy welled up in your eyes, and you smiled, feeling a weight lift off your shoulders. "that's all i ever wanted, bakugo. just to try."
he smirked, reaching out to wipe a tear from your cheek. "then let's take it one step at a time, together."
you nodded, your heart full of hope and happiness. as you stood on the rooftop, under the starlit sky, you knew that this was just the beginning of a new chapter. one where your love for bakugo was no longer unrequited, but a journey you would embark on together.

Suki Pookie! 💕
Katsuki Bakugo x Bimbo reader
Tumblr media
Katsuki Bakugo... a blond baddie with explosion powers and a itty bitty waist, with an attitude of a firecrack time 10000 nobody in Katsuki life thought he'll EVER find someone to love, to cherish, to care for for years to come... until you y/n!
Fresh from America and glowing brown skin showing off your latest hero designs you became U.A's hero design in training student. Moving from America to Japan wasn't easy with clothes and clothes packed in boxes tou couldn't move a giant leopard print high heel chair into that small ass dorm?? But a very talkie green haired boy, a girl with the face of Kirby with a bob and, a boy who refers to him as class president soon helps you move in and your designer life has been perfect!
// Firstly how did this glamorized girl with such beautiful hair and eyes ever came to romanticized a bad attitude having boy like Katsuki? Well after moving in and getting a internship you had got the first task of your career: Design 3 hero suits and sumbit them to the respective heros. Sounds easy looking at each new fist year you saw your very first guinea pigs; Ida, Monoma, and Bakugo. Ida was perfect after seeing his quick and grabbing some help from the tech teams you made a beautiful looking robot suit perfect for mobility, then Monoma has a copying quirk but has more of a regal asshole type behavior with some time periods research and grabbing his input you created him a very fine suit. Then Bakugo and as you remeber he was an pain in the ass...
FIRSTLY, he already had an design in mind which was terrible, the gauntlets were nice but it didn't have any practicality with how big they were, then the outfit was giving him enough arm area for him to move very restrictive like he wearing velcro, then he had the nerve to add a mask which is never cute on ANYTHING. Telling him his faults was like talking to a argumentative wall he wouldn't just listen but, after three long nights of making specialized gaulets, finding a cloth that would help him produce more sweat, and a mask design you made him hero costume which he didn't say he liked nor disliked. After your first task you fix up any things like Deku bunny ear thing which was totally a werid kink you think he has... and Momo having trouble with zippers, and bakugo came to you alot more when it came to updating his suit with miniscule things like a button.
So, after like literally months of him just coming g to me and making work more than I should we finally exchange numbers and instagrams! He doesn't have many follwers nor does he post but it's ok my page had enough room and after a few videos of us hanging out and posting my followers made us a ship name! It was sooo cute but he just scoff and said it wouldn't happen, such a liar.
Tumblr media
Now headcanons!!
☆ So firstly it took months almost your whole first year to even get Suki poo to ever think of you in a non-friendly manner, like Izuku he just saw you as a friend maybe even a best friend until Mina and Kirishima told him every time you and him would talk hell talk more softer with you
" Doesn't mean anything pinky shes a fucking crybaby"
" Duh! You care about her feelings omg! KIRI ITS LIKE A SLOWBURN"
" Yeah bro! Talking to a girl nicely is very manly and- hey! Where he's going!"
☆ After that Suki started to think about his glittery friend a lot more, thinking about how kissing her would feel is your favorite snack place his favorite only because he like you getting those panda chocolate biscuit things? Does he find Choco cat kinda of cute because you said he's smart like him? His mind is always racing and eveytime you own your pretty mouth he just wants to bite your face off! In a cute way
☆ So when you two cuties do start to date its a very thick line of what pda he allow firstly no kissing or making out in public like your almost pro heros your reputation is always valuable, secondly no wrid ass nicknames ( the first time you called him Suki babes was infront of bakusquad and he almost exploded Sero from the face if the earth, he blushs and held your hand while he yelled at them so win-lose) and thrid, NO SAPPY LOVE STORIES TO HIS MOM: it just not cool for his bad boy persona.
☆ But Suki really chill beside a few bumb arguments when you feel like he thinks your stupid you two always make up example:
" You think I'm dumb huh!? I got a A+ in color theory!"
" What does that do in real life baby? Make sure the fashion police doesn't giveme ticket for wearing orange in winter?"
" THAT! AND the fact without color theory you in the summer wouldn't produce enough sweat for your firecrack special thingy!
" And your not bumb because only MY smart baby would know that"
So really he explains himself alot better to you because your very intoned emotionally.
☆ Suki really into petnames despite earlier setting he loves the sappy nicknames like suki babes, pookie, sukiies and anything over the top because it apart of your nature! He loves how you text with various emotions because he texts pretty bland and he loves cuddles alot even when it's hot he likes holding you. It really stems from the fact nobody but his friends couldn't truly give him a hug and his mom and dad the only one who really can get to him so having a partner really pushed his clingy nature up to 100000.9% He likes your American accent on some words in Japanese despite him speaking English clearly in an accent he likes to mock a southern accent if your from the south.
☆ Now onto the kinda of sad part, Suki can't really hear himself loudly because his explosion are pretty loud his hearing declines more and more, and you figured it out when you called for his name loudly from a room away and he never came til you had to closely come up to him so as his personal design you made hearing aids for him and his suit which helped a lot during missions. But once you told him about his hearing he got it check out, he had the hearing of a old man practically and out of that outcme he listens to your voice alot more just incase he won't hear it again
" And I told her I didn't have any diamonds but I had rhinestones and- are you even listening suki?"
"Mhm just like hearing yer voice, so didn't she take the diamonds"
" Oh! Well she didn't and then she asked again two days later! Like girl you know well you can rhinestones insted!"
☆ Anyways back to a little more happiness Suki bookie loves to cook for you since as your beastie he saw you had a terrible sweet tooth and you didn't always eat a healthy plate so every date he makes you a nice and hearty bowl of food and makes you eat it all, from healthy grains to irons and potassium, breakfast and dinner even he ruined your ice cream and made ypugurt bars! Which were good but still where is the artificial flavor On days he does training you like to make him bento box's Sanrio or his favorite TV show themed and he always keeps the little notes you put in his locker in a safe place incase he get a little lonely
☆ Suki when you first started dating was very quite, almost never really talking because he took relationship advice from his friends and he felt like his aggressive behavior would scare you until you sit him down and talk about his distance hell be more inclined to leave you alone making the relationship strain. SPEAKING OF FRIENDS, you are an official member of bakusquad your co-captain, first Lady, even the best member because he just proclaims you as such no matter what your always with bakusquad doing dumb shit (you usually record it) or despite his attitude towars him are with deku and his friends which he doesntlike how close you and shots got over a kid show but hey... ( he watched the show and he got so instred he has a tiny merchant area in his dorm)
☆ Katsuki parents are fashion designers so he knows a little bit about fashion wven though his first hero design wasn't great ge had a solid frame so any fashion dilemma you have is solved with him, he does not sugarcoat though if that shit is ulgy he says it with he FULL chest
" Ok! So what about denim skirt, green top and purple hate with a scarf-"
" Okay Demi Lovato "
..." ..Hoe don't play with me"
Like he doesn't even play with your hair either he's the only one who can look like a bum but you? HIS beautiful golden curly/loc baddie girlfriend in sweats when its a cute halter top you can wear? Even on days where you want to be a bump he makes you atleast accessorize a bit.
☆ lastly Suki is just your pintrest boyfriend, as I mentioned he doesn't really post only pics of you and repost of him and you and from your page to his people thought he was a stan page but no no that's is Katsuki Bakugo supporting HIS girl. Did I mention he's so possive whe he got kidnapped he was scared it would happen to you, he always his an eye on you and since you like to wander off hes always close behind to point he's your shadow and you couldn't want anything more; somebody flirts with you? BOOM 💣 He already scared them off and now your getting a pretzel, somebody dms you? BOOM 🔥 He got that blocked and reported and foe some reason banned from any shopping mall.
Overall suki pookie bear Bakugo is perfect and even though I personally didn't like him at one point I would date him simply for the hell of it!

kirishima x insecure reader where he overhears that she has a huge crush on him please. have a good day!
It was late afternoon at U.A. High, and you were tucked away in a quiet corner of the common room. Your close friend, Mina Ashido, sat beside you, and you hesitated, your fingers nervously playing with the hem of your sleeve.
“You’ve been acting strange lately, you know that?” Mina teased, nudging you playfully. “What’s up? You can tell me anything.”
You felt a rush of warmth to your cheeks as you tried to avoid eye contact. Mina was sharp and had probably noticed the way you’d been acting around a certain someone. Your heart pounded every time he was around, and it was becoming harder and harder to keep it a secret.
Finally, after what felt like ages, you whispered, “Okay, okay… promise you won’t tell anyone?”
Mina’s eyes lit up. “Of course! You know I’m good with secrets.”
You swallowed hard and took a deep breath. “I have... I have the biggest crush on Kirishima.”
As soon as you said it, you felt like you wanted to curl up into a ball. Admitting it out loud felt like the most vulnerable thing you’d ever done.
“What?!” Mina gasped, clearly trying to suppress a squeal. “Oh my gosh, that’s so cute!”
You groaned, burying your face in your hands. “It’s not cute, it’s embarrassing. He’s so confident and amazing, and I’m just… not. He’d never go for someone like me.”
Mina frowned and shook her head. “That’s not true at all! Kirishima isn’t the type to judge people like that. You’re amazing, and he’d be lucky to have you.”
Little did you know, Kirishima was standing just outside the room. He hadn’t meant to eavesdrop, but he was frozen in place, wide-eyed as he overheard the conversation. The words tumbled around in his mind — You liked him? His heart raced at the thought, but he also felt a pang of sadness. You thought you weren’t good enough for him?
He knocked on the door, pretending he hadn’t heard anything, and stepped inside. “Hey, what are you two up to?” he asked casually, flashing his usual bright grin.
You stiffened, feeling like the ground was about to swallow you whole. Did he hear anything?
Mina smirked knowingly but kept quiet, just giving you a reassuring look before standing up. “I think I’ll leave you two to talk,” she said, almost too casually. She shot you a wink and walked out, leaving you alone with Kirishima.
Your heart thumped loudly in your chest as you tried to keep calm. “H-Hey, Kirishima…”
“Hey,” he said, a little softer than usual. There was something different in his expression — his usual carefree smile was still there, but his eyes seemed more serious. “Can we talk?”
You nodded, unsure of where this was going.
Kirishima took a deep breath, his usual confidence faltering for a moment. “Look, I heard what you were talking about earlier. I wasn’t trying to listen, but... I overheard.”
Your stomach dropped. He knows?
“W-What did you hear?” you stammered, your voice barely above a whisper.
Kirishima stepped closer, gently placing a hand on your shoulder. “I heard that you like me. And… I also heard that you think you’re not good enough for me, which is just ridiculous.”
Your eyes widened in shock, and you opened your mouth to protest, but he held up a hand, stopping you gently.
“You’re amazing,” he continued, his voice steady and sincere. “You’re kind, strong, and always working so hard to improve. I’ve noticed how determined you are, even if you don’t see it in yourself.”
Tears welled up in your eyes, and you looked down, overwhelmed by his words. “I just… I didn’t think someone like you would ever be interested in someone like me.”
Kirishima’s expression softened, and he tilted your chin up, forcing you to meet his gaze. “Well, you were wrong,” he said softly. “Because I’ve liked you for a while now too. I just… didn’t know how to say it.”
You blinked, your heart skipping a beat. “You… like me?”
He chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly. “Yeah, I do. I’ve been meaning to tell you, but I didn’t want to make things awkward between us.”
For the first time, a small smile tugged at your lips. “You’re not just saying that to make me feel better, are you?”
Kirishima shook his head, his smile growing. “No way! I wouldn’t lie about something like this. You’re super cool in your own way, and I really like that about you.”
You blushed, feeling a warmth spread through your chest. For the first time in a long time, the insecurities that had been weighing you down started to lift, just a little.
“So… what now?” you asked, your voice still soft.
Kirishima grinned and held out his hand to you. “Well, how about we start with dinner? I know this great ramen place we can go to. You up for it?”
You stared at his hand for a moment, your heart racing, before finally taking it, feeling a spark of hope and excitement. “Yeah… I’d like that.”
And as you walked side by side with Kirishima, hand in hand, you couldn’t help but feel that maybe, just maybe, you were enough after all.
Requests are open. Send as many as you like.

i am OBSESSED with the bruised ego verse. thank you for singlehandedly kickstarting the long gone bnha brainrot xD
anyway!!! u mentioned derecho x endeavor shipping bc of their first meeting and uuh i was wondering how did said meeting go? and is derecho, at some point, interested in him? (doubt it bc toshi's being a cutie patootie but a girl can dream xD)
anyway, love you! hope you're having a wonderful day/night!
The air gets hotter — like a blast from an open oven — on an already hot afternoon. You're unimpressed.
This guy is #2? This is the Endeavor that Toshinori insisted you have to behave around?
First of all... What're they feeding the boys at U.A. High? Testosterone booster smoothies with every meal? C'mon.
Enji Todoroki towers over you — he's built like a brick-shit-house with a scowl mean enough to scare away most. You can tell from first glance he's a force of nature. Toshi always speaks highly of him, yet always wishes Enji was a little kinder. A little softer.
"He scares the damn kids, Derecho," he told her a few weeks ago.
His arms are crossed. There are flames licking at the air around him. Less like a halo and more like a crown of thorns. Minus all that martyrdom shit.
You tilt your head as you take him in.
Your unnerved, blank stare is beginning to make Enji uncomfortable.
"You must be Derecho," he rumbles dryly.
Your eyes rake up his figure. He's all muscle. Clearly strong. Very fast. His quirk is powerful — an element-based ability, just like your own. Nice costume. He's got big arms. Pretty turquoise eyes. If he wasn't such a jack-ass, he could be hot.
...Ha, ha. Get it?
He feels like he's suddenly under a microscope. His ears are hot.
It's not like there are sides to pick. All Might is #1. He will be for a long time. No one even comes close to your Toshinori in the rankings, not even this emotionally constipated schmuck. You feel a blaring flash of loyalty rising in your chest as you leans back and inspect his face.
Behind you both, the unplanned, improvised team-up is being wrapped up by local police. The perp was caught and you both worked decently well together; all things considered, Enji was impressed. He knew you were good, but not that good. Decent communication, easy adaptability, and quirk synchronicity came easy between the two of you for never having met.
...You're not what he thought.
"All Might told me about you," you offer plainly. You're still sizing him up.
Of course he did.
Enji feels his lip twitch at the mere mention of the blonde. He grits out, "That's kind of him."
"He was right, y'know," you say as you back up, looking to resume your solo patrol route; you're breaking away from him, clearly unswayed by the reporters and journalists clamoring for a statement, "You do scare the kids."

₊✩‧₊˚ “im not in love with you anymore” “i never knew you were” ˚₊✩‧₊
Tumblr media
Late nights at U.A. always had a certain stillness to them. Most students had long gone to bed, the quiet halls lit only by the soft glow of the moon filtering through the windows. But for you, these late-night conversations with Neito Monoma were a routine. They often started with playful banter, little arguments that no one else understood, but somehow always ended in meaningful talks that stretched into the early morning.
You were perched on the edge of his dorm bed, cross-legged and twirling a loose thread from your jacket. Monoma was lying beside you, his arms behind his head as he gazed up at the ceiling, his usually sharp and teasing tone softened by the late hour.
"I'm glad I never lost you," Monoma said suddenly, breaking the comfortable silence between you. You looked over at him, a small smile tugging at your lips.
"Why would you ever lose me?" you asked, half-joking.
"Because of my feelings," he replied quietly, and your heart gave a tiny skip at the unexpected seriousness in his voice. You shifted slightly, leaning closer.
"Your feelings?"
Monoma sighed, sitting up slightly so that he could face you. His eyes, usually brimming with mischief, were focused on you with an intensity that made your stomach twist. "I'm not in love with you anymore."
The words hung in the air, sinking into the quiet room, and you felt your breath catch. "I didn’t know you ever were," you whispered, your confusion clear in your voice.
Monoma blinked, clearly taken aback. "What do you mean?"
"What do you mean?" you asked, your voice softer now, almost afraid to break whatever fragile thing was hanging between you. "You're not in love with me anymore? You were in love with me?"
His brows furrowed. "Yes, we've talked about this. You always turned me down, so I decided it was best to get over it before I ruined everything."
Your head spun, struggling to grasp what he was saying. "We talked about this?"
Monoma nodded, his expression a mix of confusion and frustration. "Yes, multiple times."
You stared at him, your mind racing back through all the conversations you’d had, trying to remember any moment that even hinted at a confession. "We’ve never once discussed this, Neito."
His confusion mirrored your own, and suddenly it felt like you were on two different planes of understanding. You never noticed. You had never realized he was trying to tell you how he felt all those times. And now, the weight of what you hadn't known crushed your chest.
Silence fell between you, thick and uncomfortable.
"I didn't know," you whispered, feeling a dull ache form in your chest. Over the last few months, you had started seeing him differently. He was your best friend, but the longer you spent with him, the more you realized that your feelings had changed. And now, hearing that he had moved on while you were only just catching up—it hurt.
"I didn’t know you were in love with me." You forced a small laugh, but it was hollow. "And now it doesn’t even matter anymore."
Monoma’s face shifted into confusion again. "What? What do you mean?"
You swallowed hard, pushing yourself up off his bed. "It's late. I should go." Your voice cracked, and you hated yourself for it, but the reality of the situation was too overwhelming. You needed to be alone to process it.
Monoma sat up quickly, his eyes wide with concern. "Wait-"
"I'll see you tomorrow," you cut him off, forcing a small smile before slipping out of his room. Your heart pounded in your chest as you made your way down the dimly lit hallway, trying to sort through everything that had just unfolded. He wasn’t in love with you anymore. But the ache in your chest was because you had fallen for him, and now it was too late.
Over the next few days, you couldn’t help but pull away from Monoma. It wasn’t intentional at first, but every time you saw him, a sinking feeling dragged you down, reminding you that whatever chance you might’ve had was gone. Conversations were shorter, and you didn’t stay for your usual late-night talks.
It didn’t take long for Monoma to notice. On the fifth day, your phone buzzed with a message from him.
Monoma: Come over, we need to talk.
Your heart skipped a beat, but you brushed it off. This was normal, right? The two of you talked all the time. There was nothing unusual about him asking you over. Still, as you made your way to his dorm, you couldn’t help the knot that twisted tighter in your stomach.
When you arrived, Monoma wasted no time. As soon as the door clicked shut, he turned to face you, his expression serious. "You've been avoiding me."
"I haven’t-"
"Yes, you have." His voice was firm, but there was something softer underneath, something that felt like worry. "What's going on?"
You swallowed hard, unable to look him in the eyes. "I didn’t know," you whispered.
"Didn’t know what?"
"About your feelings," you continued, your voice trembling slightly. "And when I finally realized I..." You trailed off, biting your lip. "I didn’t know you had moved on. It just... it hurt. Because I started to realize I have feelings for you too."
Monoma froze, his breath catching as your words sank in.
"But then you told me you weren’t in love with me anymore, so I thought-" You took a deep breath, forcing yourself to look at him, your heart aching as you saw the shock in his eyes. "I thought I’d just get out of your way."
The silence was deafening, and for a moment, you regretted saying anything at all. But then Monoma stepped forward, closing the gap between you in two strides. Before you could say anything else, he cupped your face in his hands and kissed you.
It was sudden, and yet it felt like something that had been waiting to happen for a long time. When he pulled away, his voice was a soft murmur. "I never moved on."
You blinked up at him, your heart racing. "But you said-"
"I tried," Monoma admitted, his thumb brushing your cheek. "I tried to get over it because I didn’t want to lose you as a friend. But I never could. You’re too important to me."
A smile tugged at the corners of your lips, and before you could stop yourself, you kissed him again. When you pulled back, you saw the soft look in his eyes, the same one you had always been too blind to notice.
"I guess we’re both pretty terrible at talking about feelings," you teased, your voice light.
Monoma chuckled softly, pulling you closer. "Guess we’ll just have to make up for lost time."

Bakugou x Reader (First date)
Tumblr media
The sun dipped below the horizon as you anxiously stood outside the agreed-upon cafe, waiting for Bakugou. The air was filled with a mix of excitement and nerves. You couldn't help but wonder how the explosive hero would handle a date. Would he be his usual brash self, or would tonight reveal a different side of him?
Just as you started to fidget with your phone, a familiar voice cut through the evening air, "Oi, (Y/N), don't tell me you've been waiting long."
Turning around, you were met with the sight of Bakugou, dressed in casual attire that still exuded his signature confidence. "Not at all," you replied with a smile. "Shall we?"
He grunted in acknowledgment, and the two of you entered the cafe. The atmosphere inside was cozy, the soft hum of chatter and the aroma of freshly brewed coffee enveloping you. You both found a quiet corner, and as you settled into the conversation, you discovered a side of Bakugou that was surprisingly easygoing.
The evening unfolded with laughter and shared stories, and Bakugou's sharp edges seemed to soften in your company. He even reluctantly admitted to enjoying the calming ambience of the place.
As the night continued, you suggested taking a walk through a nearby park. Under the gentle glow of streetlights, you and Bakugou strolled side by side. The conversation flowed effortlessly, and you couldn't help but notice the subtle touches of vulnerability that peeked through his tough exterior.
Eventually, you found yourselves at a small pond, its surface reflecting the moon above. The atmosphere was serene, a stark contrast to Bakugou's explosive quirk. He seemed deep in thought, and you wondered if he was contemplating something important.
"You know, (Y/N)," he began, his usual bravado giving way to a rare moment of sincerity, "this... wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be." He said with a low soft rasp.
You chuckled, appreciating his honesty. "I'm glad you're enjoying yourself, Katsuki."
He glanced at you, his gaze holding a hint of something more. "Yeah, well, maybe I don't hate this dating crap as much as I thought."
As the words hung in the air, an unspoken tension built between you. Bakugou took a step closer, his gaze locked onto yours. The air crackled with a different kind of energy – one that wasn't explosive but held the promise of something more tender.
"Hey, (Y/N)," he said, his voice a bit softer than usual, "there's something I've been wanting to do."
Before you could respond, Bakugou cupped your face with one hand and pressed his lips to yours. The kiss was unexpected, yet it felt like a natural extension of the evening – a culmination of shared laughter, vulnerability, and a connection that had been quietly forming.
When he pulled away, Bakugou's usual gruff demeanor returned, though his eyes held a newfound warmth. "Don't get all sentimental on me. It's just... whatever. I don't hate you, alright?"
You couldn't help but smile at his attempt to downplay the moment. "I don't hate you either, Katsuki."
And so, under the moonlit sky, you and Bakugou walked back, hand in hand. The explosive hero had shown you a side rarely seen by others, and in that quiet moment, you knew that something special had ignited – a spark that would continue to burn, casting a warm glow on the path ahead.
-----------------------------------------------
A week had passed since that memorable night with Bakugou. As the days went by, the atmosphere at U.A. High School's dorms seemed to buzz with an energy that transcended the usual hero-in-training intensity. Rumors had circulated, and classmates couldn't help but notice a subtle change in Bakugou's demeanor.
In the common room, where students gathered for study sessions or to unwind, Bakugou was spotted sitting next to you. The explosive hero's usual scowl was replaced with a more tempered expression, though he vehemently denied any softening when questioned by his friends.
One evening, as you and Bakugou sat on the rooftop, enjoying the view of the city lights, he grumbled, "Don't think this means anything. I just... felt like sitting here."
You chuckled, leaning into him. "Sure, Katsuki. Just enjoying the view, huh?"
He shot you a sidelong glance, his cheeks tinted with a hint of red. "Shut up. It's not like I care about this stuff."
But actions spoke louder than words. Bakugou surprised everyone by suggesting a group outing to a nearby amusement park. Classmates exchanged surprised glances, wondering if they had entered an alternate reality.
As the day at the park unfolded, Bakugou, though maintaining his tough exterior, showed a newfound willingness to participate in group activities. He even reluctantly agreed to go on a roller coaster, the screams of excitement and laughter echoing through the air.
Back at the dorms, as the night settled in, you and Bakugou found yourselves on the same rooftop where your journey had begun. The city lights sparkled below, mirroring the warmth in your hearts.
"I guess... the amusement park wasn't the worst idea," Bakugou admitted, his usual gruffness laced with a rare hint of satisfaction.
You grinned, playfully nudging his shoulder. "Admit it, Katsuki. You had fun."
He huffed, avoiding eye contact. "Whatever. Don't get used to it."
As the night continued, the two of you shared quiet moments, the unspoken connection between you growing stronger. It became evident to your classmates that something had shifted in Bakugou's world, and though he vehemently denied it, his actions told a different story.
In the days that followed, Bakugou surprised you with small gestures – a shared snack during study sessions, a protective glance in the midst of hero training, and the occasional softened expression when he thought no one was looking.
One evening, as you both sat in the common room, he turned to you, his gaze more earnest than usual. "This... whatever it is, don't expect me to start being all lovey-dovey or anything."
You chuckled, appreciating his honesty. "I wouldn't expect anything less, Katsuki."
And so, the U.A. dorms continued to buzz with the everyday chaos of hero training, but a new layer had been added – a connection that had ignited between you and Bakugou, casting a warm glow on the path ahead.

May i request a part to to the yamazawa family x cat reader?
Title: techno cats U.A adventure
Fandom: Mha
Pairing: cat! Reader x Yamazawa family
Warnings: male reader, fluff, cat reader, platonic
🌑🌒🌓🌔🌕🌖🌗🌘🌑🌒🌓🌔🌕🌖🌗🌘🌑
Nedzu smiled at the little kitten who trotted behind him, a rescue that Aizawa and Yamada got and was still very small "if I'm correct you're not supposed to be out of your dorm" Nedzu said lightly chastising the kitten who tilted his head "no one was home" the kittens voice was slightly echoed, childlike and innocent-- frankly a little unnerving. "So you went to go find your humans?" "Uh-huh!" Nedzu was fond of his fellow quirked friends, knowing they had a hard upbringing and was thankful (name) found a good home.
"Here you go little one" it wasn't tea, instead a saucer of milk that the void cat stretched to sniff before licking happily "my, don't you have a wonderful quirk" Nedzu was absolutely facinated with it, the possibilities of it "tell me little one, if you stretch to much do you get tired?"
"Huh?" The kits face covered in milk and thought "yeah! My body gets hurted after!"
"Your body hurts after?" Well he was moving like putty, maybe that was his limit...
"Well if you like, I would like to see just what you can do, would you be willing to do that little one?"
"I gotta ask my momma first"
"Your mother?"
Aizawa wasn't sure what to expect as Nedzu and his cat trotted, the kittens ghostly meows of excitement when he trotted to the other and Nedzu was giggling "so this is your mother?" The kitten made a little chirp sound as he let Aizawa lift him, the class looking at the void kitten curiously, his little blue and red eyes blinking curiously. "What?" Aizawa was confused at being called a mother "this little one thinks you're his mother!" Nedzu said happily, Aizawa was a bit embarrassed but it would be logical as he was the one to feed the kit every hour and tend to him.
"He needs your permission to have a quirk based test " at this point the three stepped out and Aizawa looked skeptical "what kind of test, he's a baby after all"
"Oh just simple flash cards and such! Maybe to see exactly what his quirk can do!" Nedzu wasn't a monster, he wasn't about to hurt the little mouse who looked at him so sweetly, he didn't care for human babies but animal babes? He was much softer towards. "We can arrange something, do you think you could take him back to the dorm? I don't want the little brat to get into stuff"
When Aizawa went back to class the students looked at him starry eyed "sir! Was that your pet?!" "What was that!" "Why did it look like that?!"
Aizawa activated his quirk, the students quieting down fast as he spoke "that is my kitten yes, he looks like that because he has a quirk that makes him what could best be described as a void-- bud body moves like putty"
"Can we meet him?!"
"Pass the test and sure"
"What test?"
"The one were doing right now"
(Name) was confused as he sat before Nedzu and his mamas "ok little mouse, we need you to wear something, it's for your safety alright?" Nedzu translated to the kitten who tilted his head at the collar "let me know if it's to tight little one" nedzu wasn't fond of collars, frankly he couldn't stand them but they couldn't exactly chip the little one and since he had a pension for wandering it was best to know where he was.
"You look so handsome!"
"Good job buddy!"
Encouraging words as the collar was placed on (name), the kitten confused as his little body stretched to look at what was around his neck, the stretch making the collar loose around his neck "we may need to work on something that works with his quirk... Normal dollars wouldn't be great"
"Well well, if it isn't the little adventurer" Yamada cooed at the kitten who was playing with a toy, little feet kicking it as he bit "went all around U.A before stumbling across Nedzu" Aizawa said as he set down his bag, Eri giggling at the kitten who accidentally hit his face, looking thoroughly startled as Yamada pet his head "such a handsome little man!" (Name)s fur(?) Rippled as he purred, the 3D glasses affect getting more vibrant as he stretched his legs out, stretching like taffee before slowly snapping back to their normal tiny size "good boy! I heard you think Sho is your mama! Wonder what you think I am~"
Also mama but (name) couldn't be understood.
Yamada was cooking dinner, Eri watching her cartoons post bath and Aizawa was grading papers as (name) stretched on his lap, spending the evening playing with Eri always pooped him out after all. Aizawa gently pet him, knowing the spots that made the kitten quite literally melt in his lap as his purrs looked waves against water.
Truly he was at his most relaxed.
Tonight he slept with Eri,sleeping on her pillow, not even denting it as they were cozy, the girl cuddling her toy giraffe without a worry.

You can either continue it or end it there, I just really love your writing
authors notes: this is so cute, i love love love this idea because he wouldn’t definitely be staring hard at reader and would probably be secretly cursing himself wondering what it is about her that’s making him feel this way. ah I love it and thank you sweetheart for the compliment, im so glad you love my writing I really appreciate it doll 💗💗
context: university au (18+), FLUFF
Tumblr media
[8:35am]
You looked up at the large “UA” logo on the front of the school. You were aware the university was large but seeing it in person for your first time was completely different. It was the best university in Japan, you were blessed to have gotten in through recommendations and your parents making good money also helped with securing a good house local to the school.
The uniforms were super cute too, a white long sleeve button down, a dark blue tie, a slightly lighter shade of blue jacket, dark blue skirt, and socks that were black or tights. Since it was the middle of fall you chose to go with socks seeing as they were a bit thicker. You styled it with cute black flats to match your outfit and your pretty soft curls out in half up-half down with a bow in the back. Honestly you loved the uniform, it looked so good against your skin tone and your brown eyes always popped out in blue.
You took the steps to class as directed by the principal. You met him once on a video call when discussing the arrangements and acceptance for you in terms of being welcomed into U.A. Finally you reach the door… it’s huge you thought to yourself. You sighed before opening the door and stepping in.
“This is the new student, y/n. She was welcomed through recommendations and came all the way from […..], you will treat her as another classmate. Any issues involving her are solved through me.” Mr. Aizawa was always a bit monotone when he spoke, but he was so sweet to you.
Before he finished he activated his quirk, everyone tensing at the seriousness in his voice.
“Do I make myself clear?”
“Yes Mr. Aizawa” it was a bit funny seeing everyone speak not only at the same time but so scared, you look over at him and notice him sigh.
“Welcome, please take a seat. The one in front of Bakugou is open, that’s the kid with the spiky blond hair.” He pointed as he directed you towards the seat.
“Thank you” you smile at him as he heads back to the front of the class and begins taking. You smile at the blond, Bakugou was it? He wasn’t even looking at you.. the minute you smiled he turned to face the window in what looked like disgust.
Mr. Aizawa had a formula on the board and offered a ‘get out of exam’ ticket for anyone who could finish it and solve it. You stuck up your hand confidently and so he chose you.
You walked up to the board, taking the chalk from his hand as you began solving it.
Sero cocked his head to the side when he noticed Bakugou intently staring at the board. It wasn’t unusual for Bakugou to be paying attention, he was top of the class and always took his academics seriously.. but it looked like he was staring at something else.
“What are you staring at?” the question from Sero caught Bakugou off guard as he sucked his teeth.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” Despite his words his tone of voice was softer than usual.. Sero couldn’t help but glance at you and then back at Bakugou.
“She’s pretty isn’t she?” Sero smirks as he asks Bakugou.
Bakugou rolls his eyes but they never leave your figure as you continue writing on the board.
You are pretty, you’re captivating to look at, and no matter how much he wants to he can’t pull you from out of his point of view.
“Well done y/n.” Mr. Aizawa exclaims as he looks over your work on the board, you softly smile and find your way back to your seat.
As you get back to your seat you place your hands on your desk and without realizing your pencil stumbles off your notebook and onto the floor.
Landing right under Bakugou’s desk.
You turn around and apologize before bending down to pick it up, what you saw was him scoff and roll his eyes.
What you didn’t see was him place his hand on the corner of his desk to make sure you didn’t hit your head.
He thinks you didn’t notice but you did and as you sat down you smiled.
Class ended and everyone left. You packed up a little slower than usual and waited until everyone was gone, Bakugou being left. You step in front of him as he tried to walk past you.
“The hell is your problem?” He looks down at you, a slightly scowl on his face but you know he means no harm.
You stick your hand out to him.
“Im y/n, I wanna get to know you.”
His eyebrow quirks up as he looks at your hand.
“I know your name dumbass. Why should I care?” He crosses his arms and looks at you with a slight grin.
“Because judging from the way you stared at me in class and made sure I didn’t hit my head on the desk…
I know you wanna get to know me too.”

Sana stood next to Tokoyami on the third place pedestal, staring blankly ahead of her. The bird-headed boy had his arms crossed, a thoughtful expression on his face. "You've proven yourself to be a formidable opponent, Sakano. I'm grateful we didn't cross paths during the battles."
"Oh," Sana blinked. "Thank you." She tried to smile. "That means a lot coming from you, Tokoyami. I've always thought you were one of the strongest in class." The boy hummed, nodding.
She glanced to her right, where Shoto stood on the second place pedestal. Their battle had lasted about fifteen minutes. Endeavor's fire had helped protect her against the cold, but Shoto had repeatedly encased her in ice, cooling her down little by little until there was nothing left. By that point, she'd been so drained that the boy simply threw her out of bounds.
At the moment, Shoto looked distracted and pensive. However, Bakugou was the most expressive of them all. Despite coming in first place, the ash blonde was far from satisfied. He fought against the gag and restraints the faculty had placed on him, throwing his entire body towards the Todoroki boy. All Might appeared in his usual dramatic fashion to present them with their medals. Tokoyami was first, then Sana.
"Young Sakano," the top hero greeted her with his bright smile. He placed the medal around her neck and pat her head. "You did well today, and showed your strength to the world. I hope you're as proud of yourself as I am to be your teacher."
"Thank you, All Might," she voice shook with so many emotions. He gently ruffled her hair before moving on to congratulate Shoto.
After the awards ceremony, they were free to change their clothes and leave. As Sana walked towards the changing rooms, she spotted a familiar head of green hair alone ahead of her. "Midoriya," she called after him. The shy boy turned around.
"Oh, Sakano," he smiled nervously. "Hi-" Sana silently bowed at a 90 degree angle. The greenette squeaked, his entire face turning red in embarrassment. "AH, SAKANO! W-what?"
"I would like to thank you... as well as apologize." The boy in question calmed down.
"Huh? What do you mean?"
"I misjudged you, Midoriya." Sana straightened, her usually bright eyes hardened and dull. "I couldn't understand why Shoto chose you of all people, but I see it now." She laughed emptily. "You really are special." Her voice broke on the last word.
The freckled boy shook his hands frantically. "No-"
"I underestimated you. I thought you were replacing me... but I realize now that he hasn't needed me for some time." Her smile was one of bittersweet acceptance, her eyes glistening with unshed tears. Her fingernails dug into her skin as she clasped her hands in front of her. "I'm grateful for all you did for Shoto today. You did something that I could never hope to accomplish."
What she didn't know—could not possibly have guessed—was that Midoriya thought the same of her.
He was immensely grateful towards the girl standing before him. He'd noticed the subtle changes in his childhood friend over the last few months. How Kacchan had opened up more after enrolling in U.A and slowly started accepting people into his life, starting with Sana. From the first day of school, he'd seen how the two interacted, challenging and provoking one another. Kacchan needed someone to balance him out like that, someone he could view as an equal. The Sakano girl had proven on multiple occasions that she could keep up with the explosive blonde. She was capable of fighting his fire with her own, but she also had a softer side that Izuku hoped would help soothe the blonde's rougher edges.
Izuku was thankful for Sana and Kirishima, who would help his old friend grow and mature into the hero the greenette always knew he could be. He could see the impact their presence had on Kacchan, even if the boy in question was too proud to admit it. They made him better, happier... which is all Izuku had every wanted for his friend.
The curly-haired boy wished to express his own gratitude to the strawberry blonde, but wasn't given the chance.
"Maybe I was too close to the situation," she continued. "Sometimes it takes someone like you, on the outside looking in, to help see things from a different perspective." She shook her head. "You've done more for him today than I could in a decade. So, thank you." She bowed again, then hurried past his shocked figure.
"Sakano..." he trailed off, watching her shoulders shake as she took off towards the locker rooms. He remembered the painful past Todoroki revealed to him during the Festival. Not just his own, but Sana's as well. Right then, the greenette swore to protect his friends from any more suffering.

The students were given the next two days off to rest and recover their strength. Most of the first 24 hours were spent moping around the house, much to Umi's dismay. The gray-haired woman didn't know what to do to cheer the girl up. Mina had been blowing up her notifications, wanting to hang out and probe her for more details regarding her so-called "date." Sana politely declined.
Umi answered the door on the morning of the second day to find Shoto awkwardly standing on the porch.
"Young master!" She greeted cheerfully, ushering him inside. "It's been too long! Come in, come in." The dual-haired boy stepped inside, the interior of the house as familiar to him as his own. "The young miss is upstairs in her room. She's been feeling a little down," the woman frowned, her face pinched in worry.
"I won't be long," Shoto moved to climb the staircase.
"Young master?" Something about Umi's voice in that moment made him pause. It was the voice of a mother: full of love, affection, and worry. "Please don't upset her any further. She's been so lost these past few months." Umi knew the solar girl had been keeping secrets from her, but she also knew that girl wouldn't do so without good reason. Whatever had kept the Todoroki boy away for so long had obviously brought Sana a great deal of pain. With his arrival today, the woman hoped that the two teens could work through whatever problems they had.
They were like family, after all.
Shoto nodded, climbing up the stairs. Down the hall and on the right was a door like every other in the house, though he knew what awaited him inside. Sage green wallpaper and a matching bedspread, with splashes of white and gold throughout the room. A large canopy bed. Rare photographs of the two as children scattered atop her desk, along with cute stickers littering the dark wooden surface. A faded poster of Mirko hung on the wall in clear view, the start of her rebellion against her father. White curtains drawn and dancing in the breeze slipping through the open window.
And Sana in the center of it all, curled in a ball on her side with her back to the door, hugging a worn out plushie. She didn't lift her head or acknowledge that anyone had come in, despite hearing the door open and close. Shoto watched her prone figure for a moment, sighed, then gingerly sat on the edge of the bed.
"Hey."
Sana stayed silent, holding the aged lamb closer to her chest. He recognized the old toy, having only seen glimpses of it in old pictures. It was one of Touya's from when he was a toddler.
Shoto sighed again, rubbing the back of his neck. "I came to apologize," he began. The dual-haired boy grit his teeth, angry with himself more than anything. "I overheard our fathers arguing after the Festival. My father was in one of his moods. Yoichi turned him down again that day. Told my old man what a terrible match we would make. He wasn't happy about that," he shook his head. "Or my performance."
She recalled the awe in which Yoichi had spoken of Bakugou's quirk. "It's not your quirk he's after." Her father always craved more power. Mixing Bakugou's volatile quirk with her own would be the equivalent of a supernova. Any child that came of their union would be nothing but a weapon in her father's eyes.
The half and half boy looked at her curiously, but continued. "I should've talked to you about my suspicions, or at least asked to hear your side of the story before jumping to conclusions. I guess I felt betrayed."
"So did I."
Shoto nodded solemnly. "I know. I'm sorry."
"Why did you assume the worst of me?" Sana whispered, her sad eyes refusing to meet his. "I promised you that we would control our own destiny and I meant that. Why didn't you believe me?"
Shoto scratched his cheek, his expression that of a scolded child. "I stopped holding onto hope a long time ago. That man has taken so much..." The strawberry blonde lowered her head. She knew exactly how he felt. "I wanted to believe you, but it all seemed too good to be true. I was so afraid to hope for something better for myself—for us—that I let the fear control me. I let my emotions blind me... just like him." Sana ran a comforting hand down his back, rubbing soothing circles with her thumb.
"You're nothing like Enji." She whispered, pulling him into a side hug. "The fact that you're here, with me, proves it. You'll never be like him, Shoto."
The youngest Todoroki opened and closed his mouth, hesitant to speak. "I... I visited my mother yesterday. With Fuyumi."
Sana sat up to look at him properly. "What?"
He nodded, staring down at his open palms. "It's something I've been wanting to do for a while, but I didn't think she'd want to see me. I thought me being there would remind her of all the bad things that happened in that house." Rei was a kind, gentle soul. Sana had always been fond of the woman, especially after her own mother's disappearance. But a person can only handle so much, and unfortunately, Shoto had been in the wrong place at the wrong time when poor Rei inevitably hit her breaking point.
"How was she?"
"She cried at first," his brows pinched. "She said she was surprised to see me, and that she understood why I never came to visit." His hand absently touched his scar. "But nothing that happened that day was her fault."
"Did you tell her that?" Sana asked carefully. The boy nodded, releasing a breath when the solar girl ran a hand down his arm in comfort. Guilt had been gnawing away at the woman, Fuyumi told her once. Not just for accidentally hurting Shoto, but also for leaving her children alone at the mercy of her husband. Maybe now Rei can forgive herself, knowing that for Shoto, there was nothing to forgive in the first place.
"She asked about you." His mouth curved into a gentle smile. "Said you'd grown into a beautiful young woman. She was proud of you at the Festival." Sana hummed thoughtfully. Shoto turned to face her. "I was proud of you, Sana."
And just as he'd expected, she immediately deflected his words of praise. "I was proud of you, too."
Shoto frowned. "I didn't do anything that great."
"That's not true. You used your left side," Sana reminded him. "You showed Endeavor that he can't control you anymore."
"I couldn't have done it without Midoriya."
"Maybe," the strawberry blonde smiled, squeezing his hand. "Maybe not. I'm glad you're making friends, though. Midoriya is a good one to have."
"So are you." The two teens stared at each other for a moment. "You're my best friend, Sana," he squeezed her hand stronger this time. "And I want to fix this. Can you forgive me?"
Could she? Sana wasn't sure if things could be fixed so easily. He'd broken her trust under the assumption that she had done so first. But despite the pain he'd put her through, she still missed his company. Sana loved Shoto, and she always would. But it would take a lot of time and effort to get back to where they were before all this started.
"I can try," she promised, delicately tracing her fingers across the toy's button nose.
Shoto looked at it as well, a strange feeling blooming in his chest. He wasn't able to interact with any of his siblings until recent years, but he was always curious about the eldest son. Touya was a complete mystery to him. He remembers catching glimpses of him in the garden playing with a ball as their father dragged him to the training room. Fuyumi and Natsuo didn't mention Touya often, and Sana was much the same. The two had been close, he remembered. Shoto wished he'd been given the same opportunity.
He wanted to ask, to learn more about the brother he'd never known. He wanted to apologize again for using Touya's memory to hurt her during their matchup. But the two friends were finally on the path to healing, and the youngest Todoroki didn't want to hurt her any more than he already had. So Shoto stayed quiet, silently longing to touch one of his brother's few possessions, but afraid that the fragile-looking relic would shatter beneath his hand.
"Those are nice flowers," he pointed at the vase of flowers sitting on her desk. Each one was a varying shade of pink and orange, reminding him of Sana's hair. She blushed at the sight of them.
Another thing he would hold off on asking about for now.
¸☾⋆*・゚¸☾⋆*・゚¸☾⋆*
Sana said hello to Tsu, Jirou, and Ochaco, who were already at the shoe lockers when she arrived. As Sana opened her own locker, a small piece of paper fluttered to the ground.
"Oh? What's this?" She mumbled, grabbing the folded note.
Opening it up, she saw a brief message about a rendezvous during break time. The note was left unsigned, which only fueled her curiosity. Upon entering the classroom, Sana made a beeline for her desk. She awkwardly greeted Midoriya and nodded at Shouto, all while completely ignoring the spiky blonde seated in front of her. She whipped out her phone and shot a text to Mina, the resident gossip queen. If anyone knew about this, it'd be her.
It wasn't long before the pinkette plowed through a group of 1-B kids, shaking her phone. "I got your text!" She gasped out excitedly.
Mr. Aizawa's arrival prevented Mina from launching a full investigation into the mysterious note, much to her chagrin. Their homeroom teacher was finally free of his bandages. He looked mostly the same, except for a curved scar running beneath his right eye.
"Mr. Aizawa, your bandages are gone!"
"The old lady went overboard with her treatment." The raven-haired man replied dismissively. "More importantly, we're having a special hero informatics class today." The class immediately went into panic mode, assuming the worst. Denki and Mina were on the verge of tears, thinking a pop quiz was coming. "... you'll be coming up with hero names."
"YES!" The somber atmosphere did a complete turnaround.
"This is related to the pro hero draft picks I mentioned the other day. The drafts begin in earnest in the second and third years, after students have gained experience and can become immediate assets to the pros. In other words, for them to extend offers to first years like you shows that they are interested in your future potential. These offers are often cancelled if that interest dies down by graduation." He pulled a remote control out of his pocket and pointed it at the projector. "Here are the totals for those with offers."
Shoto was in first with 4,123 offers, followed by Bakugou with 3,556. Sana was a close third with 3,203, but the numbers dropped drastically after that. Her versatile quirk must've won them over, seeing as her family name would've put off most heroes. "In other years, it's been more spread out, but all eyes were on these three this year," Aizawa used the remote as a pointer.
"Todoroki's first, and Bakugo's second? It's the opposite of their placement in the sports festival."
Denki snorted. "Some people are too scared to ask for a guy who had to be restrained on the podium."
"What're the pros scared of?" Bakugou slammed a hand down on the desk.
"Keeping these results in mind, whether or not anyone asked for you, you will all be participating in internships with pros. At USJ, you already got to experience combat with real villains, but it will still be meaningful training for you to see pros at work firsthand."
"Things are getting a lot more fun!" Sero and Denki high fived.
"Well, those hero names are still temporary, but if you're not serious about it-" Aizawa yawned.
The classroom door burst open, making them jump in surprise. "You'll have hell to pay later!" Midnight slinked through the door with a smirk. "Because a lot of hero names used by students become recognized by society, and they end up becoming professional hero names!"
"Midnight will be making sure your names are okay." Mr. Aizawa was already climbing into his sleeping bag.
"When you give yourself a name, you get a more concrete image of what you want to be like in the future, and you can get closer to it." Midnight explained. "This is what it means when they say, 'names and natures do often agree.' Like "All Might," for example." The R-rated hero began passing out dry erase boards and markers. Some students were already writing, while others looked to be in deep thought.
Sana tapped her chin with her marker. There a couple of names that jumped out at her, but she wasn't sure which one to put on the board. After a few minutes, Midnight clapped her hands.
"Okay, let's start presenting names starting with those who are ready."
"We're presenting these?" She could feel Midoriya worrying behind her. A few groans around the room echoed his sentiment.
Aoyama volunteered to go first. "The Shining Hero: I can not stop twinkling! Which means, you can't stop my sparkles!" He flipped his hair over his shoulder and winked. Sana held a fist against her mouth to muffle her scoff. It's a freaking sentence!
"It'll be easier to use if you take out the 'I' and shorten the 'can not' to 'can't.'" Midnight suggested. She accepted it?! However, Mina's normal option, Alien Queen, was rejected, making the kids sweatdrop. Tsu then presented her name Froppy, which completely won over the Pro Hero.
Kirishima chose Red Riot in honor of his idol, Crimson Riot. Jirou went with Earphone Jack. More and more students went up and got their code name's approved. Sana stepped up to the podium next and flipped her board around.
"The Solar Hero: Flare," She announced. "I want to be a beacon of hope and show people that no matter how dark things get, there will always be a light to guide them forward." Ms. Midnight clasped her hand over her heart.
"Ah, you've really got my blood pumping now!" Umm, okay?
Shoto just wrote his name down, which is pretty on brand for him. Surprisingly, Iida did the exact same thing. After the news of his brother's attack, she figured he would continue his brother's legacy. All of Bakugou's outrageous picks were turned down, so only he and Midoriya were left. The greenette eventually presented his hero name.
"Are you sure?"  Ochaco worried her lip.
"You could be called that forever," Iida agreed.
"I'm sure. I didn't like this name until now. But someone changed the meaning of it, and that had a huge impact on me. It made me really happy." The word Deku was written on his board. "My Deku means 'you can do it!' This is my hero name!"
Sana clapped for the boy. She knew a thing or two about taking a part of your identity with a negative connotation and trying to put a positive spin on it. For him, it was the name Deku. For Sana, it was Sakano.
"Now that everyone's decided on their hero names-" not everyone, Sana thought, remembering the ridiculous suggestions Bakugou came up with. "We'll go back to talking about the internships." A sleepy Aizawa lectured them after the heroine left. "They will last for a week. As for where you'll have them, those who had offers from pros will be given your own lists, so you can choose from those yourself. Those who didn't have offers will choose from among forty agencies around the country that will be accepting our interns. They all work in different places and have different specialties. For example, Thirteen would be focused on rescues from accidents and disasters more than fighting villains. Think carefully before you choose."
"Yes, sir!" Denki saluted. Bless him.
"Oh, and be sure to turn in your choices before the weekend."
"We've only got two days?!" The students shrieked.
"Make your decision efficiently," Aizawa was already halfway out of the door, either on the hunt for a good nap spot or a cup of coffee. "Dismissed."
Sana gathered her things and quickly headed out of the classroom, ignoring the catcalls following her out.
¸☾⋆*・゚¸☾⋆*・゚¸☾⋆*
The lunch bell rang and many of the students got up from their seats. However, only half of them actually left the classroom. For some reason, the girls of Class 1-A (minus Sana) were huddled around Mina's desk, giggling and whispering.
"What do you think that's about?" Sero came to a halt near the door, nudging Denki and Kirishima.
"Who knows?" the lightning boy shrugged. "They've been acting weird all morning." The raven haired boy approached the group, with his two friends trailing behind as backup.
"What's going on over here, ladies?" He leaned an arm on Hagakure's shoulder. "Care to share?"
Ochaco and Momo blushed, while Hagakure squealed loud enough for everyone to hear, "Sana has a secret admirer!"
Bakugou's head turned from where he'd been leaning by the door and glaring out into the hallway. "Why do you say that?" Kirishima asked.
"Because, Ei!" Mina stated as though the answer was obvious. "There was a note in her locker this morning asking to meet at the rooftop during break."
"That could mean anything," Eijirou tried to wave it off. He'd noticed how close his friends had become lately and how tense they'd been around each other towards the end of the Festival. Sana and Bakugou were endgame for him and he wouldn't allow anyone to ruin his ship. I mean, who wouldn't want their best friends to end up together? "She's really smart. Maybe someone needs her to tutor them."
"I guess we'll see when she gets back!" Mina chirped back in a sing-song voice.
Bakugou kicked off the wall with an agitated expression. "Gotta take a leak," was all he said when Kirishima tried to follow him out.
¸☾⋆*・゚¸☾⋆*・゚¸☾⋆*
On the rooftop was none other than Monoma, the pretentious 1-B student who had relentlessly provoked her and her team during the cavalry battle. They stood across from each other with a great deal of space between them. Sana had a look of apprehension, while Monoma, who had invited her here, looked like a petulant child being forced to make amends.
"My mother recognized you from the Sports Festival and wanted me to invite you to our house for a meal this weekend."
The strawberry blonde frowned. "I'm... touched?" The statement came out as more of a question because what the actual fuck. Why did Monoma's mother want to meet her? "But I'll have to decline. Maybe some other time." She quickly turned to leave.
The pale blonde scoffed. "Of course, the great Sakano heir couldn't possibly dine with us commoners, is that it?" His flare for the dramatic was truly a sight to behold. Forget heroics. This guy needs to be on a stage somewhere... or locked away in an insane asylum. "Just who do you think you are?"
"I could ask you the same, buddy!" She snapped. Something about this man-child always put her on defense. Maybe it was the way he constantly tried to verbally attack and belittle others. "What the hell is your problem with me, anyway?" She crossed her arms over her chest. "You've been acting like a jackass since the Festival. Why?"
"Because I'm tired of people like you looking down on me!"
Sana was sure her expression was flabbergasted. She felt a laugh of disbelief bubbling in her throat. "I'm not looking down on you! I don't even know you!"
Monoma opened his mouth to continue arguing, but snapped it shut with a haughty sniff. He straightened out his blazer and walked towards the exit, making sure to knock shoulders with her. "Here," he pulled his hand out of his pocket and waved a white envelope over his shoulder. He carelessly tossed the letter to the ground with a casual smile. "This should help clear things up."
Sana glared after him, her hands balled into fists at the sheer audacity. Taking a deep, calming breath, she bent down to retrieve the letter. Written in elegant penmanship was her full name. As eager as she was to open the letter, break was already halfway over and she still needed to eat lunch. All she'd had to eat was an orange she'd snacked on during her brief walk to school. Sana placed the letter in her bag and made her way back down to the freshman floor.
But leaning against the wall opposite the steps leading to the rooftop was Bakugou. "The hell did that freak want with you?" He kicked off of the wall.
"No clue," she sighed deeply. "What are you doing here?" She paused on the third to last step. She liked making him look up at her, which he picked up on if the small tch sound he made was anything to go by.
"Seems like everybody's trying to get your attention lately," he shrugged, his hands buried in his pockets. "Thought I'd add my name to the list."
Sana shook her head with a sound of annoyance/amusement. "Well, you didn't make an appointment and I don't accept walk-ins, so-" she made to move past him but he held out an arm to block her. His mouth was set in a firm line, but his eyes said what he couldn't voice. Wait. Stay.
She sighed. "What do you want, Bakugou?" She crossed her arms again. Unlike Monoma, Katsuki made her feel safe. She was free to do and say whatever she wanted in his presence without having to hold back. It was nice to be so open with someone like that, and she knew that he enjoyed that part of their friendship as well.
"Collecting my prize. I won the Sports Festival, didn't I?"
"Well, I figured the deal was off since you claimed it wasn't a 'real win.'" She mocked.
His vermilion eyes narrowed into slits. "That Icy Hot bastard refused to fight me at full power!" He seethed. "Doesn't matter. I would've kicked his sorry ass anyway, so I want my prize!"
"Fine." Sana rolled her eyes in exasperation. She grabbed him by the collar and pulled him into her. His lips were surprisingly soft against her's, his entire body stiffening under her touch. If she was willing to bet, she'd say she'd just stolen Katsuki Bakugou's first kiss. The thought made her feel all tingly inside. He tasted sweet, like caramel, and his woodsy, campfire scent made her want to burrow into his chest and press her nose into his warm, tanned skin. She pulled away from the kiss after a full minute, taking in his reddening face and wide-eyed gaze. "There. Happy?"
Her dry sarcasm snapped him out of whatever stupor he'd been in. He gnashed his teeth, clenching and unclenching his fists. "What the fuck?" His voice cracked. "You-" The tips of his ears were beet red and his lips shimmered with traces of her lipgloss in the midday sun. "You just..."
Sana casually shrugged. "Yeah, so?"
"So?" He repeated in disbelief. "Fucking 'so?"' He screeched, finally regaining control over his body. Bakugou's chest heaved with sharp inhales and exhales as he spun in a circle. "So, you just fuckin' kissed me, dumbass!" He exhaled sharply through his teeth, squeezing his eyes shut as he tried to calm his breathing. "Give me a fucking warning if you're gonna pull shit like that!" He ruffled his already wild hair in frustration.
"I'll try to remember that next time." He stopped to gape at her, his arm dropping to his side in surprise. She stepped forward and pressed a hand against his warm, solid chest, gently pushing him backwards until his back was against the wall. He allowed himself to be moved, his heated gaze eyeing her warily. "Or," She slid her hand further down his chest with an innocent expression. She cocked her head to the side, her teasing, sultry voice combined with her touch making him blush furiously. "Should I go 'play with someone else?"'
She just threw his words from the Festival back at him. This girl...
Bakugou invaded what little space was left between them until their noses brushed. "No more games," he swore softly. Sana nodded once, feeling his rough, calloused palm move to cup the back of her head before guiding her mouth back to his. Sana tasted of sunshine, oranges, and raspberry lip balm, and Katsuki was hopelessly addicted to the feeling of her body pressed against his. Bakugou would never do drugs. Are you kidding? His body is a fucking temple. But this? This was a high he might never come down from.
He groaned low in his throat, deepening the kiss
The remainder of the break was spent in a tight, passionate embrace; small gasps of air and curious hands passing between them as they molded against one another effortlessly. "Katsuki," Sana gasped, trying to pull away from his iron hold. "We have to head back soon."
The ash blonde hissed in annoyance, but loosened his grip enough for her to slip away.
The strawberry blonde had kissed her fair share of boys back in junior high, but it never meant anything. Katsuki Bakugou wasn't like those boys she'd used for a little fun and discarded. No, he was proving to be much more important than that, and Sana felt equal parts exhilarated and terrified by that fact. Because the last time she'd felt this strongly about anyone, it had nearly destroyed her. She couldn't go through that kind of loss again.
They straightened their uniforms and fixed their hair before leaving the privacy of the rooftop. The two didn't speak on the way back to the freshman floor, but the silence wasn't uncomfortable. Their arms brushed with every movement, yet neither moved away.
By the time Sana arrived home later that day, dropping her backpack to the ground with a dreamy sigh, she'd completely forgotten about the letter burning a whole in the bottom of her bag. She was also oblivious to her pink-skinned friend spamming her phone impatiently. Meanwhile, Katsuki reclined on his bed with his hands behind his head, a rare, genuine smile on his face as he stared up at his ceiling dazedly. "Best. Prize. Ever."

pov: a villain attacks and you rush into a building to save people, but said building collapses.
i wrote this while listening to "circles" by pierce the veil ,, now be sad like i was <3 i don't know if i wanna do a pt 2 to this so take the ending however you'd like
The rain pounded mercilessly on the crumbling cityscape, each drop adding to the sense of urgency. The sky was a dark shroud, lightning occasionally illuminating the chaos below. You were in the thick of it, a hero in your own right, focused on saving as many civilians as possible from the collapsing building.
RUMBLE!
The training grounds at U.A. High School were bustling with activity. Students were honing their skills, pushing themselves to their limits. You and Bakugou were no different. "Y/N, don't just stand there! Move!" Bakugou barked, his explosive palms crackling with energy. You rolled your eyes but couldn't hide the smile tugging at your lips. "Relax, Bakugou. I've got this." You activated your quirk, effortlessly dodging his blasts. "Tch. Showoff," he muttered, but there was a hint of pride in his eyes as he watched you move. You didn't notice, too focused on the training.
"Everyone, stay calm!" you shouted, your voice barely audible over the sounds of destruction. Your quirk flared, lifting heavy beams and debris off trapped individuals. The building groaned ominously, its structure weakened by the relentless assault.
A child cried out from beneath a pile of rubble. Without hesitation, you sprinted towards the sound, your heart racing. You used your quirk to lift the debris, revealing a terrified little girl. "It's okay, I’ve got you," you said soothingly, lifting her into your arms. "We’re getting out of here."
You handed the girl to a nearby civilian who was able to run, urging them both towards the exit. The building shook violently again, causing more debris to fall. You spotted an elderly man struggling to move, his leg trapped under a fallen beam.
CRACK!
The cafeteria was buzzing with chatter, but Bakugou and you were in your own world. You sat across from him, a mischievous glint in your eye. "So, BK, what do you think of the new training regimen?" you asked, poking at your food. He grunted, not looking up from his meal. "It's tough, but we need it. Can't be weak if we want to be pro heroes." You laughed, the sound making his chest feel tight. "Always so serious. Lighten up a bit, will you?" He finally looked up, his eyes meeting yours. For a moment, the noise of the cafeteria faded, and it was just the two of you. "You talk too much," he said, but his tone was softer than usual.
The ceiling above you started to give way. You gritted your teeth, pushing through the exhaustion as you used your quirk to lift the beam and free the man. "Go! Now!" you urged him, helping him to his feet and directing him to the exit.
As he hobbled away, you heard another cry for help. A young woman was trapped in a corner, surrounded by flames and falling debris. The ceiling above her was moments from collapsing. You took a deep breath, summoning the last of your strength. "I can do this," you whispered to yourself.
You dashed towards her, using your quirk to blast away the flames and debris. "Come on, we need to move!" you shouted, grabbing her arm and pulling her to safety. Just as you reached the exit, the building shuddered violently. The ceiling gave a final, deafening creak before collapsing entirely.
CRASH!
The training grounds were empty, the moon casting long shadows across the field. You and Bakugou stayed late, determined to get stronger. "You don't have to stay, you know," you said, wiping sweat from your brow. He scoffed. "As if I'd let you get ahead of me. Dream on." You smirked, launching a playful attack with your quirk. He dodged effortlessly, countering with a blast that made your hair stand on end. "Nice try, BK," you teased, breathless but exhilarated. "You're not half bad," he admitted, a rare compliment. You blinked in surprise, but before you could respond, he turned away, hiding the faint blush on his cheeks.
Outside, Bakugou was locked in a fierce battle with a villain. Explosions lit up the night as he fought with every ounce of his strength. He heard the deafening crash of the building collapsing and felt a cold dread settle in his chest. "No... please no," he whispered, blasting the villain away with a powerful explosion.
After a particularly grueling training session, you both lay on the grass, staring up at the sky. The silence was comfortable. "You ever think about the future, Kats?" you asked quietly. He was quiet for a moment before responding. "Yeah. 'm gonna be the number one hero." You smiled softly. "Of course you are. And I'll be right there, too." He turned his head to look at you, his expression unreadable. "Don't go getting yourself killed," he said, the words heavier than they seemed. "Same to you," you replied, your voice equally serious.
Without wasting a second, he sprinted towards the wreckage, his heart pounding in his chest. As he neared the building, a flash of movement caught his eye. A civilian, struggling to free themselves from the debris. Bakugou didn't hesitate. He blasted the rubble away, pulling the terrified person to safety. "Get out of here!" he barked, shoving them towards safety.
Without wasting another second, he prepared to charge into the unstable building. "Shit..." he muttered, his voice barely reaching his own ears. He was about to enter when a firm grip tightened around him, yanking him back.
"Hey!" Bakugou growled, struggling against the capture weapon wrapped around him. "Let me go! She’s- Y/N is still in there!"
Aizawa's eyes were stern and unwavering. "The building isn't stable, Bakugou. If you go in now, you'll just get yourself killed."
Bakugou thrashed, trying to break free. "I don't care! Let me go!"
"You need to calm down," Aizawa said firmly. "We can't afford to lose you too. Rescue teams are on their way. We have to wait."
Bakugou's eyes blazed with fury and desperation. "I can't just stand here and do nothing! Y/N is in there!"
Aizawa's grip didn't falter. "I understand how you feel, but this is the only way to ensure the safety of everyone involved. You have to trust the rescue teams."
The simulated city was eerily quiet, the perfect setting for the latest training exercise. Aizawa had planned for a building to collapse during the exercise, adding an element of urgency and danger. Bakugou and you were paired together, tasked with finding and rescuing a dummy representing a civilian. "Let's make this quick," Bakugou grumbled, his eyes scanning the surroundings. "I don't want to waste time here." You nodded, equally focused. "Agreed. The dummy should be somewhere in that building." The two of you moved with precision, entering the building and locating the dummy within minutes. Just as you lifted it, the ground beneath you shuddered. Aizawa's voice crackled over the intercom. "Building collapse simulation initiated. Evacuate immediately." The walls began to creak and groan, debris falling around you. Bakugou's eyes widened in realization. "Shit, we need to move!" Before he could react further, you grabbed his hand, intertwining your fingers with his. "Come on!" you urged, your voice steady despite the chaos. You started running, pulling him along with you, the dummy secured under your arm. The building continued to crumble, large chunks of debris crashing down around you. Bakugou kept pace with you, his grip on your hand tightening as you navigated through the collapsing structure. He could feel the heat of the explosions he was ready to use to clear a path if necessary. As you neared the exit, you glanced back at him, a determined smile on your face. Bakugou felt a surge of something unfamiliar but powerful – trust, maybe, or a deep-seated respect for your unwavering courage. He smiled back for a moment. Just one moment. With a final sprint, the two of you burst out of the building just as it fully collapsed behind you. The rush of escaping in the nick of time left both of you breathless, but the adrenaline made it feel exhilarating.
Bakugou's body trembled with rage and helplessness. His mind was a whirlwind of memories – your laugh, your determination, your smile. He couldn't lose you, not like this.
As the minutes dragged on, each one feeling like an eternity, he watched the rescue teams work tirelessly, pulling civilians from the wreckage. Every person they saved brought a flicker of hope, but you were still nowhere to be seen.

Bakugo x reader drabble
Tumblr media
Once upon a time in the bustling city of Musutafu, there lived a young hero-in-training named Katsuki Bakugo. Known for his explosive personality and fiery quirk, Bakugo was a force to be reckoned with. However, behind his tough exterior, there was a softer side that only a few were fortunate enough to witness.
One evening, after a long day of intense training at U.A. High School, Bakugo returned to his modest apartment. As he opened the door, he was greeted by the comforting silence that enveloped the room. The scent of his girlfriend's favorite scented candles filled the air, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Curiosity piqued, Bakugo made his way to the bedroom, where he found his girlfriend, Y/N, peacefully sleeping. Her tousled hair cascaded over the pillow, and a content smile graced her lips. Bakugo couldn't help but feel a surge of affection for her as he watched her slumber.
Quietly, he approached the bed and sat down, careful not to disturb her. He marveled at the way her eyelashes delicately brushed against her cheeks, and how her steady breaths created a soothing rhythm in the room. It was in these moments that Bakugo's tough exterior melted away, revealing a tender heart beneath.
Unable to resist, Bakugo gently brushed a strand of hair away from Y/N's face, his touch as light as a feather. As if sensing his presence, Y/N stirred, her eyes fluttering open to meet his intense gaze. A sleepy smile tugged at her lips as she recognized her hero standing before her.
"Hey, sleepyhead," Bakugo whispered, his voice filled with warmth. "Did you wait up for me?"
Y/N's eyes sparkled with affection as she sat up, wrapping her arms around Bakugo's neck. "Of course, I did. I missed you," she murmured, her voice laced with adoration.
Bakugo couldn't help but feel a surge of happiness at her words. He had always been fiercely dedicated to his training, but Y/N had a way of grounding him, reminding him of the importance of love and connection.
As they embraced, Bakugo couldn't help but reflect on how lucky he was to have Y/N in his life. She was his anchor, the one who understood him like no one else. In her arms, he found solace from the chaos of the hero world, a safe haven where he could be vulnerable.
Together, they settled back onto the bed, their bodies entwined in a comfortable embrace. Bakugo pressed a gentle kiss to Y/N's forehead, his lips lingering against her skin. In that moment, time seemed to stand still, and the world outside their apartment ceased to exist.
As they drifted off to sleep, Bakugo couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment wash over him. He knew that no matter how tough the battles ahead, he would always have Y/N by his side, waiting for him with open arms. And in her embrace, he found the strength to face anything that came their way.

diffrences
The early morning sun streamed through the windows of U.A. High School, casting a golden hue over the bustling hallways. Students hurried to their classes, but you had a different destination in mind. As you walked towards the training grounds, your heart raced with anticipation.
Today, you were partnered with none other than Katsuki Bakugou for a combat training session. Despite his explosive temper, there was something about Bakugou that had always intrigued you. His relentless drive, fierce determination, and raw power drew you in, even if he was often abrasive.
As you arrived at the training grounds, Bakugou was already there, warming up with a series of powerful stretches. His eyes met yours, and for a moment, the world seemed to fade away. You felt a flush rise to your cheeks as he walked over, his usual scowl firmly in place.
"You're late," he barked, though there was a hint of something softer in his eyes.
"Sorry, Bakugou," you replied, trying to keep your voice steady. "I got held up in class."
"Tch. Whatever. Let's get started," he said, turning away abruptly.
The session began with a series of drills, Bakugou pushing you to your limits with each passing minute. Despite his harsh exterior, you could sense his respect growing as you kept up with his rigorous pace. His explosive quirk was both awe-inspiring and terrifying, and you couldn't help but admire his control over it.
As the sun climbed higher in the sky, you found yourself breathless and drenched in sweat. Bakugou, on the other hand, seemed barely winded. He finally called for a break, and you gratefully sank to the ground, gulping down water.
"You've got guts, I'll give you that," Bakugou said, sitting down next to you.
"Thanks," you replied, smiling despite your exhaustion. "You’re not so bad yourself."
He snorted, but there was a flicker of amusement in his eyes. "Just don’t slow me down."
As the afternoon wore on, the training grew more intense. Bakugou challenged you to a sparring match, and though you knew you were outmatched, you gave it everything you had. Every time you were knocked down, you got back up, earning a begrudging nod of approval from Bakugou.
By the time the session ended, you were exhausted but exhilarated. Bakugou stood over you, offering a hand to help you up. As you took it, a spark seemed to pass between you, and you stumbled slightly, landing closer to him than intended.
"Careful," he muttered, his voice surprisingly gentle. For a moment, his usual harsh demeanor softened, and you saw a different side of him—a side that cared.
"Thanks, Bakugou," you said, looking up at him. "I learned a lot today."
"Yeah, well, don’t think this means I’m going easy on you," he replied, though there was a hint of a smile on his lips.
As you walked back to the dorms together, you felt a newfound connection with him. Despite his rough exterior, Bakugou had shown you a glimpse of his true self—someone who valued strength, determination, and, perhaps, something more.
That night, as you lay in bed, you couldn’t help but think about Bakugou. Maybe, just maybe, beneath all that explosive energy, there was a heart that beat just as fiercely as yours. And you were determined to uncover it.

crimson heartbeats at the hero gala
Tumblr media
kirishima asks you to be his date to a hero gala, and as you attend the event together, feelings start to develop between you.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
the sun hung low in the sky, casting a warm glow over the bustling streets. you hurried along, your heart pounding with excitement and anticipation. today was no ordinary day, it was the day of the annual hero gala, a prestigious event where heroes from all over japan gathered to celebrate their achievements and contributions to society.
as you made your way through the crowd, your phone buzzed in your pocket. with a quick glance, you saw a message from your friend and classmate, eijiro kirishima.
"hey, y/n! are you free tonight? i've got something important to ask you."
your heart skipped a beat at the unexpected message. kirishima was one of your closest friends at U.A. high school, known for his unwavering courage and indomitable spirit. you quickly replied, eager to hear what he had to say.
"hey, kirishima! sure, i'm free tonight. what's up?"
within moments, another message popped up on your screen.
"i was wondering if you'd like to be my date to the hero gala tonight. it's totally fine if you're busy or already have plans, but i thought it would be cool to go together since we're both heroes-in-training!"
your eyes widened in surprise at the invitation. you had always admired kirishima's bravery and determination, and the thought of attending such a prestigious event with him made your heart race with excitement.
without hesitation, you typed out your reply.
"wow, kirishima, i'd love to! i'll meet you there!"
with a smile on your face, you continued on your way, your heart fluttering with anticipation for the evening ahead.
----
the hero gala was held in a grand ballroom, adorned with shimmering chandeliers and elegant decorations. as you entered the venue, you were immediately struck by the sight of heroes and dignitaries mingling and chatting animatedly.
spotting kirishima across the room, you made your way over to him, your pulse quickening with each step. he was dressed in a sleek black suit, his crimson hair styled perfectly as always.
"hey, y/n! you made it!" kirishima greeted you with a wide grin, his eyes sparkling with excitement.
"of course, kirishima! thanks again for inviting me," you replied, returning his smile.
together, you explored the gala, marveling at the displays of heroism and courage that surrounded you. you laughed and chatted easily, enjoying each other's company as you sampled delicious food and danced to the music.
as the night wore on, you found yourselves drawn closer together, your laughter growing softer and your smiles lingering a little longer. with each shared glance and touch, you felt a warmth spreading through your chest, igniting a spark of something more.
it wasn't until the music slowed to a romantic melody that you realized just how much your feelings for kirishima had deepened over the course of the evening. as he pulled you into his arms, your heart raced with a mixture of excitement and apprehension.
"hey, y/n, there's something i've been wanting to tell you," kirishima said, his voice low and earnest as he looked into your eyes.
you held your breath, waiting for him to continue, your heart pounding in your chest.
"i… i really like you, y/n. more than just as a friend. i've been wanting to tell you for a while now, but i wasn't sure how you felt…"
a rush of emotions flooded through you at his confession, washing away any doubts or fears you had harbored. with a smile, you reached up to cup his cheek, your eyes shining with affection.
"i like you too, kirishima. more than you know."
in that moment, as the world faded away around you, you knew that this night would be one to remember for the rest of your lives. together, you danced beneath the twinkling lights, your hearts entwined as you embraced the beginning of something beautiful.
as the night drew to a close, you knew that your journey together was only just beginning, filled with countless adventures and memories yet to be made. and as you stepped out into the cool night air, hand in hand with kirishima by your side, you couldn't help but feel grateful for the unexpected twists and turns that had led you to this moment.
for in each other's arms, you had found something truly worth fighting for a love as unbreakable as steel, and as bright as the fiercest flame.

An Unexpected Lesson
The morning sun filters through the windows of U.A. High School's Class 1-A, casting soft rays onto the eager faces of the students. The classroom buzzes with the usual morning energy as they prepare for another day of training and learning. Aizawa Shota, their homeroom teacher, stands at the front of the room, his expression as unreadable as ever.
Aizawa clears his throat, immediately commanding the attention of the class. "Today, we have special guests joining us," he begins in his usual monotone voice. "They are students from the International Hero Program, here to give you a presentation on what it means to work on the international scene. I expect you all to be respectful and pay attention. This isn't something you can afford to take lightly."
The class murmurs among themselves, curiosity piqued. Kirishima leans over to Denki, whispering excitedly, "How much harder can the international scene be? We’ve been through a lot already."
Denki, ever the optimist, grins. "Yeah, I bet we can handle whatever they throw at us!"
Before Aizawa can respond, the door slides open, and two figures step into the room. The first is a tall young man with sharp features and platinum-blonde hair, strikingly similar to Monoma Neito. The resemblance is uncanny, save for the slightly softer expression in his eyes. He’s dressed in casual yet stylish civilian clothes, his posture confident yet rigid.
The second figure is a girl with long, dark brown hair streaked with red highlights, her hair swishing slightly as she moves. Her eyes are sharp, and her presence commands the room without a word. She, too, is dressed in civilian clothes, a form-fitting jacket over a simple shirt and pants, giving her an air of effortless cool.
The girl, Luna, steps forward, her eyes briefly meeting Aizawa's. "Apologies for interrupting, Sensei," she says with a respectful nod, her voice calm but carrying an edge of authority.
Aizawa gives her a curt nod, indicating that she may proceed. The class, momentarily stunned by their entrance, quickly regains their composure.
Before Luna can speak, the young man, Monoma Mamoru, steps forward, his expression slightly irritated. "You all think you know what it means to be a hero, but the reality is, you're not even in the same league as we are," he says, his voice tinged with impatience. "Your experience is limited to the national level. What we face on the international stage is far beyond what you've encountered."
The class reacts with a mix of surprise and indignation, murmurs spreading quickly. Bakugo scoffs, crossing his arms over his chest, while Todoroki narrows his eyes in quiet observation. Midoriya listens intently, his notebook already in hand, ready to jot down any important details.
Luna places a gentle hand on Mamoru's shoulder, calming him instantly. "Mamo-kun," she says softly, "be kind. They haven't gone through what we have. It's not their fault they don't understand the level of seriousness involved in our work."
Mamoru sighs, visibly relaxing under Luna's touch. He steps back, allowing her to take the lead.
Luna turns to the class, her expression softening slightly. "Let me introduce ourselves properly," she begins. "I am Aizawa Luna, and this is Monoma Mamoru. We're here today to share our experiences and give you a glimpse into what it means to operate on the international scene."
At the mention of her name, Midoriya's eyes widen in recognition. "Luna… Aizawa Luna?" he exclaims, his voice filled with surprise and curiosity.
Luna offers him a small, warm smile. "It’s good to see you again, Izuku. But our reunion will have to wait. We're here on business."
Midoriya nods, slightly flustered but understanding. Bakugo, who has been watching the exchange with a proud smirk, lets out a scoff. "Tch. Always straight to business, huh?" he mutters, though there's an undeniable hint of admiration in his tone.
The rest of the class is buzzing with questions. Kirishima, ever the enthusiastic one, leans forward. "What’s it like working on the international stage? Is it really that different from what we’ve experienced here?"
Luna's expression grows more serious, her smile fading slightly. "The difference is immense," she replies, her voice firm. "We handle world-changing cases every day. The level of danger and the stakes are far higher."
Mamoru steps in, his irritation now replaced with a more solemn demeanor. "Students drop out within the first month, never returning to the pro-hero scene. It's a testament to how intense and unforgiving the work is."
The class falls silent, absorbing the weight of their words. Kirishima, still curious despite the gravity of the conversation, asks, "Can you give us an example?"
Luna and Mamoru exchange a glance, a silent understanding passing between them. Luna nods slightly, giving Mamoru the go-ahead.
Mamoru begins, his voice steady but tinged with a hint of sadness. "Our first mission was a bomb threat that covered an entire country. We were thrown into the situation with little time to prepare. The pressure was unimaginable."
Luna continues, her voice quieter now. "Our second mission involved tracking down a serial killer who operated across multiple countries. It was a race against time, and failure was not an option."
She pauses, her gaze drifting to a distant memory. "On our third mission… we lost a classmate. A friend. It was a hostage situation that went horribly wrong."
The classroom is deathly silent, the weight of their words hanging heavily in the air. The students, usually so lively and chatty, are now somber, reflecting on the harsh reality of hero work beyond their borders.
Ururaka, her eyes wide with concern, finally speaks up. "How do you… deal with something like that? Losing someone?"
Luna meets her gaze, her own eyes softening. "You carry their memory with you in everything you do," she replies quietly. "You let it drive you to be better, to ensure that their sacrifice wasn't in vain."
The words resonate deeply with the class, and a few students find themselves blinking back tears. Kirishima, ever the emotional one, wipes at his eyes and says, "That's… that’s so manly, Luna!"
Luna smiles at him, appreciating the sentiment. Sensing the need to lighten the mood, she shifts gears. "But it’s not all doom and gloom," she says, her tone lifting slightly. "We also get to experience amazing cultures, work with incredible people, and face challenges that push us to our limits in ways you can't imagine."
Denki, ever the curious one, seizes the opportunity to ask, "So, what’s your quirk, Mamoru?"
Mamoru, who had been quietly observing the class, perks up at the question. "My quirk is called Shield," he explains, holding up a hand. A faint glow surrounds it, and an invisible barrier shimmers into existence. "I can create shields in various forms and even erect barriers that can withstand significant impact."
The class watches in awe as Mamoru demonstrates, the barrier glinting faintly in the classroom light before he dispels it with a wave of his hand.
Once Mamoru finishes, the attention shifts to Luna. The class waits eagerly for her to reveal her quirk, but instead, she simply scratches her cheek, a small, slightly embarrassed smile playing on her lips. "Well, I’m quirkless," she says, almost casually.
The room falls into stunned silence. The students, who had been hanging on her every word, now gape at her in shock. A flurry of surprised exclamations bursts out all at once.
"Wait, what?!"
"No way!"
"How is that even possible?!"
Luna chuckles at their reactions, sitting down on the teacher’s desk with a relaxed posture. "It's true. I don't have a quirk, but that doesn't stop me from doing what I do. With the right training, strategy, and support, you can overcome any obstacle."
The class continues to stare at her in awe, grappling with the idea that someone quirkless could reach such a high level in the hero world. Bakugo, having known her for years, just smirks proudly, while Midoriya looks at her with admiration, understanding how much harder she must have worked to get where she is.
As the shock wears off, a few students can’t help but chuckle at the absurdity of it all, and the mood in the room lightens. Luna’s calm confidence in the face of their disbelief leaves a lasting impression on them.
The scene ends with the class still buzzing with curiosity and admiration, while Luna sits atop the desk, her red-highlighted hair swishing slightly as she turns her head to look at them all with a soft, knowing smile. Todoroki, who has been quietly observing her throughout the entire exchange, continues to stare at her in admiration, his heart pounding slightly in his chest as he realizes just how extraordinary she truly is.
