i really like george and nick together they're so solid. the thing she needs most in the world is stability (financial and social) and he's just deeply steady and commitment-oriented which gives her the ability to soften up a bit when she knows she has a landing zone that won't fall out from under her. but they also challenge each other, they're fun, their arguments are charming and funny and their chemistry is strong i really really like these two together

#so far none of nancy's relationships have much wowed me she was really only with nick in order to break up with him #and he's so interesting that it's nice to see him becoming something more than Nancy's Boyfriend #normally when the first-string boyfriend gets broken up with he fades into the background but i feel like it's actually #solidified him as a character #he's still in the story because he kind of has to be so they're forced to come up with somethign compelling for him to DO #owen is nothing. he's zero. he's reilly buffyverse. i dont care about him at all and neither does the protagonist #the REAL sleeper agent is the fry cook . i know this because i read the wiki and because also at this point he and the protagonist are like #at best acquaintances who've gone on a few missions together #but the potential is there. it's simmering. she's intense and always dialed up to eleven so she does need an even-tempered and easygoing gu #meanwhile he is more interesting than he looks so he needs someone who will bring excitement into his life #nancy drew

It's so funny to me to see the lengths people would go to as to insist that you're not a good person or are questionable if you wished ShadowSight had died in ALITM instead

i hate to say it because i know we all wish he was just our poor little innocent meow meow, but herbert west is a canonical misogynist. like the man hates women. he called francesca HYSTERICAL. dude.

Okay, first of all Herbert will never be innocent nor a "poor little meow meow" and calling him such is annoying to me.

Second, Herbert West hates everyone who doesn't fall under the following qualities: a) people who are intelligent as him and have the same ideals as him (Dr. Gruber); b) People who he can easily manipulate (Dan); and c) People he is in love with (also Dan).

It's also important to keep in mind that while Herbert does not believe in god, he does treat his research as a sort of god. Herbert West is not a man who views women as lesser than men. Herbert West is a man who views everyone as lesser than his work. So obviously he's going to hate anyone who interferes with his work.

Not to mention the fact that he is so in love with Dan, that he is clearly going to hate any other romantic interests for Dan.

So no, he doesn't call Francesca hysterical because he hates women in general, he calls her that because he hates her for distracting Dan from both the work and Herbert himself. The same reason Herbert hates Meg and calls her a bitch in the first movie.

#apollo didnt remember what its like to be human because jason died for him it was because jason stood up for him #jason had apollos word the moment he extracted that promise out of him #like note how every time apollo mentions being human he says its to ‘stand up for what you believe in’#and the first time he actually mentioned that theme it was about jason after jason revealed he stood up for apollo at the parthenon #jasons death was because of the self fulfilling prophecy which led to him valuing this promise he got over his own life #and also because he didnt want piper to die #which itself says so much about his character! this was a fully informed choice he made because thats who jason is!#he quite literally did not have to come but because he was told he could (herophile said ‘IF you come’ note the If) he decided he would #because he wants to help! he wants to protect piper! he thinks itll solidify a promise!#it was his decision to go regardless of him dying because by not going? not helping? that goes against his principles #and he values his principles so much you dont understand #txt #jason grace
