5. Círdan the Shipwright, The Silmarillion (no official adaptation, so imagination only): I love his devotion to his people that had him stay in Middle-earth until all the elves who wanted to sailed. His age and wisdom are also upsides.

Revali spotted you having troubles from above, and swooped downwards

He lodged his arrows into the monster, it was down way before he landed

"I had that handled but thank you," you sheathed your sword, turning to help the lady

"Your defensive form was atrocious. You're lucky I spotted you from above."

"Why are you, a master of all things archery, commenting on my defensive melee stance?"

Man the tension between you two started out high

You were on your way to Rito Village for a couple of months to research so goddamn it you had to deal with this mf again

Honestly he took interest in you because everyone always thinks of him as this wondrous magical being (he has a special power none of the other Rito have, so he's looked up to a lot) and not enough people treat him with a bit of fiery attitude nowadays

He always tried to strike up a conversation between you two for some reason

He even paid for your snowquill armor (armor to keep warm in the cold area) Huh

He's still very snarky with you though, Hylia forbid he shows affection and favoritism to another

You've learned to just accept his personality as it is... he's got evidence to back up his boasts, he IS very strong

You couldn't resist just watching him effortlessly nail every single target in his flight range while he practiced

Loves to braid your hair.... maybe places his own feathers into it 😳

He'd tease you for your height and use it against you

"Oh, you want to hold my bow? It's taller than you, are you sure?"

"Shut up and give it," you grumbled

He doesn't want to admit that you're actually pretty funny

You manage to help him get over his frustrations about Link

He'd be pacing around his house, and you'd usually meander up to it and notice his antsy behavior, cheering him up and getting his mind off of that goddamn knight

He wouldn't outright tell you his frustrations about Link, but you'd offer for him to take you on a flight and he'd agree :]

You usually sing while he flies around

Don't tell anyone this but he thinks your singing is better than his mom's singing (and hers was pretty good)

You can tell he likes you HAHAH

He does his best to hide it but everyone can tell- he's very different around you

He takes you to places of interest that you usually spot on the ground while on his back

One time you got your much needed payback when Revali suddenly got attacked by Lizalfos one day

You were grabbing fruits from the bushes when you heard his squawk of surprise

You rushed to the commotion, to see him on the ground, trying to fumble for arrows- the hostile Lizalfos looming over him

You approached the oversized lizard, and with one clean swoop, chopped its head off

What Revali saw was cinematic

The sun was directly behind you, sending a godlike glow over your silhouette

He winced when he heard your words, "Your defensive form was atrocious..."

On another note, he loves staying under shelter on a rainy day and just crafting arrows

You like to sit by him (he's very warm) and watch him do so

Cue him internally freaking out HEHSHE

And finally his ultimatum as a friend-about-to-be-bf; he takes you up to Vah Medoh

Okay you knew that mechanical bird was big but HOLY HYLIA THIS BIRD WAS MASSIVE

You just gawked at its sheer size

He noticed

"Impressive, I know."

You rolled your eyes at his ego, "Must be compensating for something."

You then spent the next 30 seconds screeching at him to stop diving towards the ground

When he finally brought you up, he had Medoh fly over Hebra Mountain

You were caught off guard by the sudden gentleness in his voice when he called your name

"I'm not accustomed to... situations... like this, but I cannot ignore these feelings for any longer."

You felt like the wind got knocked out of your chest

"Would you do the wonderful Champion Revali the honor of courting you?"

"OH COME ON REVALI DO YOU REALLY HAVE TO PREEN YOURSELF EVEN WHEN ASKING ME OUT?"

You accepted of course 😩

I just wanted to let you know that Fanfiction subreddit was musing who the hottest character in the entirety of Tolkien fandom was and I adamantly defended Thranduil's honour. Because other options were ridiculous. Aragorn? Legolas? *shaking my head* Amateurs.

5. What’s a fic idea you’ve had that you will never write?

Well I don't know about never, but I have this little thought about older Aragorn and Arwen, that she might regret her choice (despite what Tolkien says). It was brought on by the song lyric "and when the seasons change, will you stand by me? Cause I'm a young man after all" and I just thought about them and I get it, they are cute, but Aragorn is a dick.

6. Are there any fics from others you reread all the time?

There are a couple fics I read 2-3 times, but I don't think I have a constant "omg must read 1000 times" fic

17. What’s something you’ve learned about while doing research for a fic?

Elvish. I can say "Daddy I've been a bad girl". I am rethinking my life choices 😂😂

30. is there a book that changed your life?

Probably not in the way that you would expect, but I would say that The Selection Series by Kiera Cass changed my life because it was the first thing I read in English! I was maybe 12? 13? I can't remember but I was incredibly proud!

48. what book would you give someone if they wanted a glimpse into your psyche?

Maybe a self-made book that just has ripped out pages of other book, like a scrapbook of tiny moments because I am definitely a chaotic person!

The Silmarillion works too, it's made of little stories and it's confusing and frustrating to read sometimes and the part where Tolkien just trails off and talks about Geography for 20 pages really resonates with me😂
