Okay 3 things

1. I was thinking about an aroace Sonic who says things that can be taken as wildly flirty/romantic but he just means them genuinely. “You have beautiful eyes, I keep getting distracted while looking at them,” not cause he’s interested romantically in them but because eyes can be really cool and pretty man I dunno what to tell you he likes looking at cool things and he thinks his friends are neat. “You’re the most beautiful person here,” because he really thinks that, he loves his friends

2. Sonic randomly dropping heartfelt genuine comments on his friends out of the blue completely blindsiding them and then moves on like nothing happened while they’re left going ?????? Bonus points if he does something immensely stupid or jerkish just before or immediately afterwards and they can’t tell if he was serious or not with the compliment (yes he was)

3. Sonic usually being so allergic to truly vulnerable moments that when he expresses something heartfelt randomly Tails thinks he’s been stabbed or something and does not believe him when he reassures him that he’s fine he’s fine he’s not dying yeesh

I can't decide what's more in character here:

Tails using his little device to heat up the marshmallow before he roasts it,

Sonic rolling his eyes and smiling because his little bro is a show off (an adorable one too),

Or Knuckles listening to Tails' advice on how to roast the marshmallow right but instead of getting the new one he's just burning the same one even more. And Knuckles' marshmallow caught fire again and he didn't understand why 😂

But I just gotta know how Knuckles and Tail would react to seeing the plush owl, like he cant hide it for too long can he?

I think for Tails, he’s just excited that his hero/big brother has something else in common with him. They have sleepovers and sleep in a big pile underneath Tail’s collection with Beaklet at the heart of it. Sonic feels less nervous about him finding out and manages to maintain some of his dignity in that case, especially when Tails assures him that he doesn’t think he’s any less cool because of it.

Knuckles however…..

He’s silently terrified that if Knuckles found her he’d rip her to shreds (being an owl n’ all that). Luckily Knuckles still doesn’t know about her.

…or does he?

learned something about myself lately

#i dont think its even the fact almost all my characters are somewhat beasts in one way or another. i just #really like tails and wish i had one myself #and then my oc designs are a little tame theyre mostly human shaped with animal features. but they always have tails #my eyes have recently been opened to the appeal of long whiplike unicorn tails.. so flowy and curly #something about the tuft at the end being long and swirly just does something for me..#maybe it would make sense to change auggies tail shape so it looks like a meteor. her design is mainly pink with hot pink accent #so it would be cool to use that and orange to make it look like a fire meteor.. maybe itll help complement the blue/green in her design #head full of ocs today so expect a ramble later #if i had a tail i think it would be long with a kink. so it kind of folds over once but not in a curl #when it wags its kind of a swaying motion. i have thought about this a normal amount #yapping
