shoutout to the point in my origins playthrough when i needed 10 more approval from zevran and didn’t have any gifts. my solution was having reese and him go at it 10 times so i could get that +1 approval until i hit the rating i needed.

Spicy Alphabet: Billy Loomis
Tumblr media
A = Aftercare (what they’re like after sex)
Billy lies on the bed, cuddling your perfect self after. Don't let his relaxed condition fool you, he's going to have deep conversations coming through.
B = Body part (their favorite body part of theirs and also their partner’s)
Billy: His eyes are beautiful and powerful. Often stares at his eyes in the mirror. They had the perfect eyelash length and shape. He could put anyone he was attracted to in a trance.
You: Boobs. He loves a great set of boobs to rub his hands on and put his face in. The round flesh sitting on top of your chest is so pretty. The brown areolas resting on them are his favorite. Cute nipples poking out just greeting him.
C = Cum (anything to do with cum, basically)
He has an average amount of cum. He has a better diet than Stu, so his cum has a neutral taste. He loves to see you swallow it
D = Dirty secret (pretty self explanatory, a dirty secret of theirs)
Billy really really wants to watch you get a pap smear done (if you have a vagina). Cervixes look beautiful to him. He will buy a speculum to see what it looks like before and after sex.
E = Experience (how experienced are they? do they know what they’re doing?)
Experienced. Have you seen him? There are a few things he's good in, but others he hasn't tried before
F = Favorite position (this goes without saying)
Standing missionary
G = Goofy (are they more serious in the moment? are they humorous? etc.)
Neutral. He'll chuckle at a few reactions and sounds.
H = Hair (how well groomed are they? does the carpet match the drapes? etc.)
Billy's curly hair is groomed
I = Intimacy (how are they during the moment? the romantic aspect)
Not at first, but once the relationship progresses he becomes more romantic.
J = Jack off (masturbation headcanon)
Almost as often as Stu, however he won't have a whole marathon. He'd rather wait for you to be available.
K = Kink (one or more of their kinks)
Joint murder, forced voyeurism, phone sex, almost getting caught, bloodplay, knifeplay, facefucking, and more.
L = Location (favorite places to do the do)
Bedroom. Bathroom. Maintenance closets.
M = Motivation (what turns them on, gets them going)
Acting coy makes him want to chase you. Making out in front of others. Palming his dick. Looking like a bimbo.
N = No (something they wouldn’t do, turn offs)
Anything too nasty. Don't cut his face. Not into slapping or punching.
O = Oral (preference in giving or receiving, skill, etc.)
Receiving. He will give, but it won't be long. Gives standard frat white boy head tbh.
P = Pace (are they fast and rough? slow and sensual? etc.)
Interchanges between slow and fast. He's very good at giving a solid pace.
Q = Quickie (their opinions on quickies, how often, etc.)
Very fond of bathroom and closet quickies. Billy had been walking around campus looking for a good maintenance room to bang in.
R = Risk (are they game to experiment? do they take risks? etc.)
Little cuts on his and your skin? No problem. A little blood is an aphrodisiac to him. Choking until you pass out? He knows how to do that correctly. And he teaches you to return the favor while he's jerking off. He's a bit risky.
S = Stamina (how many rounds can they go for? how long do they last?)
Standard. He'll need time to recharge. Sometimes, he can go back to back. Limit is 3 times
T = Toys (do they own toys? do they use them? on a partner or themselves?)
Eh…
He's okay with watching you use them on yourself. He doesn't care for them outside of that. Unless you include knives as a toy? Then he's into that. Also, a speculum would be nice….
U = Unfair (how much they like to tease)
Whole existence is a tease. This is the one aspect he's an expert in. Billy will verbally tease you, especially before he bottoms you out. Being physically teasing is on the table too. He wants you to whine for it.
V = Volume (how loud they are, what sounds they make, etc.)
His moans are soft and low. Can easily be missed if you're moaning loud. But! He will get loud and whiny if you hit a particular spot.
W = Wild card (a random headcanon for the character)
Billy kidnapped the one bitch who would talk shit about you. Always behind your back, but never to your face. They would be sugar sweet in your present, then turn peppery sour once you left. Horribly made lemon pepper wings type sour. Said that you didn't deserve a guy like him. He couldn't stand them.
Tears stained the patch of duct tape covering their mouth. They tried to vigorously escape the captivity of the chair placed in front of your bed. But, thankfully, they failed. Billy, in his ghost face fit, had you fuck him in front of them. Start to finish. You were in control of everything. Including the aftercare of cutting the dickheads' skin off, starting with their face. You and Billy made out over the skinned corpse.
X = X-ray (let’s see what’s going on under those clothes)
Slightly over average. Near 6"
Y = Yearning (how high is their sex drive?)
Moderate
Z = Zzz (how quickly they fall asleep afterwards)
{Billy} [You]
"Do you think WW1 happened in an alternate universe? Like is it something that was destined to happen?"
"......."
".......what you think?"
"...I just feel like tons of people really can't get along like that, so it's inevitable."
"Right?!"
Deep conversations afoot, he's not sleeping. Even if there's isn't an existential discussion, he still stays up to go do something else once your comfortable.

If You Love Someone, Let Them Go: Part 6
Tumblr media
Summary: Since starting with SVU, Sonny hadn’t kept much terribly close to the chest. The squad knew about his family, growing up on Staten Island, the classes at Fordam. What was hidden was why he didn’t date. Sonny Carisi was also separated from his childhood sweetheart, a separation neither ever took to divorce. They had the same haunts. They’d grown up neighbors. Their paths crossed every few months, and divorce talks would turn into reminiscing would turn into a night spent together, sometimes sex sometimes just talking until the early morning. It always ended with one of them waking up alone however. How will that change when the squad finds out?
Pairings: Sonny Carisi x Original Character
1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5
April 2015
“You ready?” Sonny called as he came into her apartment. They’d agreed to skip the pretense and drive together, and Sonny had booked a hotel room within walking distance after confirming she’d be okay with it. His bag was in the trunk, and he grinned when she came out bundled up, the same Fordham sweatshirt she’d stolen under her coat and the little wheeled bag beside her.
“Ready,” she grinned, stretching up to kiss him, and he felt like he could do anything. He took her bag despite her protest.
“I got us a room for the next two nights. We ain’t gotta stay both, but I thought it might be nice to go to dinner? I got both nights off, too.”
“That sounds real nice. I packed some real people clothes anyway.”
“Perfect. Now let’s get going. Bella said you guys got a make up artist coming.”
“Yeah. She got one and a hairdresser.”
“She’s definitely the one who wouldn’t wanna get herself ready.”
“Yeah. We gotta get there in time. What’re the groomsmen doing?”
“Playing video games and taking turns shaving and showering.”
“Not fair.”
“You look hot. You don’t need hair and make up.”
“You always think I’m hot.”
“That’s because you always are.”
“So are you. I got real lucky on the husband front.”
“You really think so?” She could sense the current under what he said. It wasn’t just Am I hot? but was also Are you lucky?
“Incredibly lucky. I got you.” He slammed the trunk shut, cheeks pink when he settled in the driver’s seat. It was familiar to drive with their fingers laced, and he smiled to see her wedding set in place. Bella had gone by the bakery to surprise her one day, and his sister was very pleased to let him know both rings were on her left ring finger. He’d told the squad the same day he told Olivia, and his ring had been on his hand every day since, the cross the only thing on the chain again.
“Think they’d notice if I do my own make up and hang out with you?”
“She really does have y’all going like two hours longer than Gina did.”
“Yeah. Gina was very ‘Let’s get down to business, get photos, and get married.’ Bella’s way more into the matching robes and face masks vibe. But she’ll be happy.”
“I’ll check in a lot, okay? I don’t like the video games Tommy does.”
“You just like Sims. It’s endearing.”
“It’s kinda fun.”
“You spent six hours building a house once.”
“I had t’make sure it was perfect. They were having twins, Tor.”
“I love you, you absolute nerd.”
“Your nerd.”
“Damn straight.” Sonny dropped her off at the venue, checking them in at the hotel and dropping off their bags. He stopped by the bridal suite when he got to the venue, thankful the weather moved the ceremony inside now that he was out of the cold.
“Dominick! No boys allowed,” Bella said, wagging her finger at him, hair in rollers.
“I know, I know. I’m just bringing Tor the key and her charger, okay?”
“You got her key?” Gina asked, leaning back to look at him and lifting her brow. “That sounds like you’re sharing a room.”
“We are,” Victoria said plainly, taking both items gladly. All the girls had changed into robes, but she’d opted to stay in his oversized sweatshirt until the inevitable photos. A primal part of him liked knowing that.
“That sounds like a reconciliation,” the younger Carisi sang, and Victoria rolled her eyes. “And you two snuck out of the party early like you used to.”
“I’m real glad you approve of our progress, but if you put too much pressure on us, we might break again.” Victoria knew he didn’t mean it and just wanted them to drop it, which she was grateful for. They weren’t quite there, but she trusted he’d probably open up by the end of their weekend together. Even if he didn’t, she’d decided she wanted to start planning to see him more after the wedding. Several late nights with Margy and a bottle of wine had told her that much. If you prove you’ll be there and patient, he’ll probably feel less like he’s scaring you off, she’d told Victoria after another night analyzing their last four encounters.
“Fine. But just know I’m telling ma. Maybe she’ll stop being mean to Tor.”
“Ignore Bella. She’s been glaring, but I think Sonny talked sense into her at Thanksgiving. She’s mad at both of them now.”
“As she should be,” he shrugged, kissing Victoria. “See ya for pictures.”
“See ya,” she grinned, ignoring his sisters’ squeals. This marathon made her kind of tired. Her hair and makeup were done soon enough, and she was grateful the dress was a dusty, dark enough pink in person to look good on her. She liked pink on Sonny, especially since the sides of his brunette hair had started going gray, against the blue of his eyes. The bridesmaids, the two Carisi sisters, Victoria, and a couple of Bella’s friends, all posed together in the matching silky robes before slipping their dresses on.
“And you thought that pink wouldn’t look good,” Sonny said softly against her ear before kissing her cheek.
“You like it?” Her hands rested on his shoulders as she smiled up at him, and he felt giddy. It was official. This was how they acted before, no almost needed.
“I do. Beautiful color on you. And damn, my wife got a figure.”
“You’re the best hypeman,” she hummed as she straightened his tie. “I ever told you how handsome you look in a suit? Or how pretty pink makes your eyes?”
“I can stand to hear it again.” There was the cocky smile he got sometimes. “I’m starting to look old, doll.”
“Nah. Getting hotter.”
“Even with the gray?” He’d been self conscious about it before, when the evenly dispersed gray in his dark hair could be mistaken for a dirty blonde. His temples gave him away now, but she loved it.
“Even hotter with the gray.”
“Stop being gross,” Teresa whined. “It’s like when you were getting ready for homecoming again.” She was rewarded with her brother and sister-in-law’s middle fingers, and Victoria was pleased with Gianna’s disapproval and the picture the photographer snapped. They took pictures, and Sonny was glad when they settled in the back of the venue. He could see the back of Olivia, Barba, Amaro, and Rollins’ heads, and the change in his dynamic with Victoria had him looking forward to showing her off at the reception.
“Shoes off at the reception. I intercept ma?”
“How’d you know?”
“I’m pretty sure I’m supporting ninety percent of your weight, Tor.”
“Love you.”
“Do I need to hold ya until we walk?”
“Not enough time to make a difference. But you’re a saint for offering.”
When Olivia saw Sonny with Victoria on his arm, it made sense why he’d been calmer the last two weeks. Hed been texting her more, though he thought he was sneaky enough no one noticed how he smiled at his phone throughout the day. She seemed to smooth his edges, and she and Amanda shared a look over the way the pair watched each other across the front of the venue. The ceremony was a quick enough affair, and Bella had decided to let her bridal party sit wherever they wanted. That led to Victoria stepping out of her shoes, pleased to be spared a big entrance. Heels in hand, she followed Sonny to the table his squad was at before dropping into her seat and giving a wave.
“Means a lot to Bella and Tommy you all came,” Sonny said, taking her shoes and tucking the wall by his chair. “This is my wife, Victoria. Tor, meet Rafael Barba, Olivia Benson, Nick Amaro, and Amanda Rollins.”
“Nice to meet all of ya. I’ve heard a lot.”
“Wish we could say the same,” Rollins said, and Victoria immediately recognized what Sonny had meant. No venom. Just protective of her occasional partner. And Benson was definitely the mother hen, shooting the blonde a look as Amaro and Barba concealed smiles.
“Get it all out now,” she joked, rolling her eyes. “Married into this family nine years ago.”
“Been putting up with Carisi that long? I’ll petition the pope for sainthood.” The three piece suit. The snark. Barba was just what she expected.
“Think she deserves it,” Sonny chuckled, arm flung easily over the back of her chair. “I can be a pain in the ass.”
Conversation started to flow easily, and he was glad Victoria was tough enough to bite back at Rollins and Barba when they referenced anything touchy. Tommy’s family filled out the rest of the table, and he was glad to see the trial had brought them around to agree that what happened to Tommy was wrong. Teresa and Tommy’s brother gave the speeches, and he liked seeing the squad join in as Bella threw the bouquet and Tommy threw the garter.
“Bella caught my bouquet, remember?” Victoria smiled up at him.
“Yeah. And Freddy Esposito got the garter.”
“Both of ‘em got married this year.”
“Was delayed for us. Our friends from back then are just now getting married.”
“We’ve been married nine years and aren't even thirty. I think we were ahead of the curve.”
“But now my baby sister is married and pregnant.”
“Dom, you do know she and I are the same age?” Sonny blinked, squinting at her.
“You’re fucking with me, right?”
“We’re both twenty-seven.”
“No way Bella’s twenty-seven.”
“I like how you can fully separate me and Bella graduating together.”
“I forget,” he shrugged. “You always picked me anyway.”
“Then married you. Duh. Long game.”
“I hear people making noise.”
“They’re cutting the cake. Amaro has the garter half in his shirt pocket, and a three year old caught the bouquet. The same age you think Bella was when she caught mine.”
“Shut up,” he laughed, pulling her to stand at the edge of the dance floor to watch the first dance. His arms slid around her waist as he rested his chin on her shoulder.
“He wouldn’t have to stoop so low if you’d wear your damn shoes, stellina.”
“Ma, leave her be.” Gianna rolled her eyes, but Sonny squeezed Victoria as the music started. “She’s coming back around. Called ya stellina instead of Victoria.”
It was kind of fun to watch the four members of his work family loosen up around the room. Amaro and Rollins were across the dance floor and not fooling anyone. Barba wasn’t sure what to make of any of the Carisis or Sullivans, but since they’d easily figured out that Olivia was not involved with him, the singles from both families had circled the man who was suddenly the most eligible bachelor. The best part was how hard Olivia ignored his visual pleas to be saved as she talked to one of Tommy’s uncles. It was nice not pretending work and personal life were separate; the squad had taken him in like he hadn’t anticipated, and now his family was taking the chance to accept his squad.
When the first dance was over, Sonny pulled her onto the dance floor, holding her flush against him in a way he hadn’t been brave enough to before. They’d talked every day the last two weeks, and he’d realized they really had hit the turning point. The songs weren’t slow, so his chest was against her back as his hand splayed over her stomach as they swayed. Both their voices were off key as they sang along to each song with the rest of the guests on the floor. Nick and Amanda were wrapped up in each other, and Olivia and Rafael seemed perfectly entertained, so he didn’t feel bad slipping out after a couple hours.
“I know you two. Go ahead and dip. You stayed for all the important parts,” Bella had grinned, bumping Victoria’s hip with her own. “I’m the only sober one here, so this is gonna wrap up earlier than anyone realizes. Baby and I gotta sleep.”
“You sure?”
“Positive, Tor.” That was all it took for Sonny to lace their fingers, duck out of the venue, and start the couple of blocks to their hotel. At first, she wore the heels and walked,  but he quickly realized it was the shoes, not the wine, making her unsteady.
“That’s it,” he said, squatting in his suit. “Hop on.”
“My bag’s heavy.”
“I can handle it, babe.”
“You sure?”
“You don’t hop on, we’re going spider monkey front carry, and we both know that always ends in me tripping more.” She wrapped her arms around his shoulders, and Sonny held her thighs, careful to keep the fabric under his palms to save her some modesty. When they were outside the room, she slipped the key from his breast pocket, helping him push the door open before he dropped her on the bed.
“Thank you,” she sighed, toeing the pumps off and letting them fall.
“Glad to be of service.” A little salute as he started to strip out of the suit and hang it. “Thanks for always ditching early for pajamas with me.”
“Glad to be of service.” She hung the dress and tucked the strapless bra away, and when Sonny turned from the closet, he saw her in the oversized sweatshirt again as she pulled the blankets back on the bed. He hadn’t bothered for two. They’d had that option every time but hadn’t used it when they were fighting.
“Comfy?” He ran a hand through his hair, breaking up the gel before flopping beside her.
“Very.”
“It’s literally nine o’clock. Are we old, Tor?”
“Old? No. Codependent? Maybe.”
“We been living apart a year and a half. Maybe we’re just a clique.”
“Very true. We’re like if the plastics were millennials who had been married a decade.”
“We should write that script.”
“Forget law school. Teen movie parodies based around our marriage.”
“Perfect. I’ll drop all my classes tomorrow.”
“I missed you. It’s been nice talking all the time.”
“I missed you too,” he murmured, watching her with his cheek pressed to the pillow.
“Regardless of if you’re ready to tell me, I wanna keep talking a lot.”
“I’m ready. I just was going to wait. Don’t wanna ruin our weekend.”
“I feel like you’re going to tell me and realize I don’t care as much as you thought. Unless you fucked somebody.”
“First, last, and only, Tor.” He rolled onto his back, taking a deep breath, and Victoria knew him well enough to know this really was going to be the moment. She sat up, legs tucked beneath her. Leaning towards him a little, she put her hand on his chest and rubbed what she hoped were soothing circles as he put his hands behind his head. When he was nervous, Sonny talked to the ceiling, just needing her to anchor him.
“Just trust me, okay?”
“I trust you, vita mia,” he murmured, and that particular Italian term of endearment let her know it was really happening. “You remember when my hours changed? End of 2011. Became a detective. Acted funny when you took me upstate. A year before I fucked up and forgot your birthday bakery combo dinner.”
“Of course.”
“I was working homicide.”
“Okay?”
“It really fucked me up, Tor. What I seen, it was so bad. The women. There were so many women, and they’d be so pristine. One of them was in a fuckin’ dumpster even. But he took all the time to give her a bath and do her make up and get her dressed. And you know what that always told me?”
“What?” she whispered, taking the hand that went from behind his head to rest on top of hers.
“It was their husband or boyfriend. The person who they trusted. And their faces were so peaceful, Victoria. They knew what was coming. And I’d go talk to people. You know what they’d say? They weren’t surprised. They’d seen it. They’d heard it. Those men hurt their wives and girlfriends. Took advantage of the fact they trusted and loved them. I started seeing you when I saw them, Tor.”
“Sonny,” she whispered, hating the way his voice sounded. It was thick with emotion, and he’d closed his eyes. She was well aware that if he opened them, they’d be rimmed red and tears would be falling. “This is what you couldn’t tell me?”
“You’re so proud of me. I didn’t want to disappoint you. I couldn’t sleep and it hurt so badly. I’d wake up freaking because I thought it was you. I’d never hurt you, but my brain just- I don’t know. And then you’re so good. You deal with cakes and fondant and cannoli and things that make people happy. I was so scared that if I talked about it, it would blot out the light in you. I felt like the only light I had was you. I think I pulled away because of that and it snowballed. When it got so bad, the last six months? It got to the point I thought all that darkness and the stuff I was seeing and the stuff my brain was picturing would- fuck- leak into you through osmosis or something. When I wanted to tell you, my brain would just change the words I wanted to say.”
“Sonny, I didn’t know it was like that,” she murmured.
“You couldn’t have known. I wouldn’t tell you.”
“I should have figured it out.”
“Don’t do that, doll. If you’re willing to trust me to tell you moving forward, I just want to move forward.”
“I shouldn’t have left, Dominick. You were hurting, and I just abandoned you.”
“I was depressed. I should have told you or talked to someone. Being depressed doesn’t make it okay to neglect you. I need to take care of myself.”
“And I should have stuck with you. Figured out the why.”
“You did though. I’ve known that I can come to you for the last two years. I just couldn’t get past myself. Doc’s been working through it with me. Says I gotta learn that dad bottling it up wasn’t good. It works better for him and ma because she couldn’t read him when they met. I never had to tell you so I didn’t know how. And then dad doesn’t believe in men sharing their feelings. It’s easy to ignore that for the good feelings. I didn’t want you to think I wasn’t tough enough.”
“I didn’t know how to tell you how I was feeling. I knew you saw dark stuff and I was scared to make it worse. I didn’t want to pressure you.”
“Are we okay?” His voice was almost pleading, barely a whisper as his eyes finally opened to look at her. She laid against him, cupping his cheek as his hand flew to rest on hers. They were both crying, and she hated it. She hated to know that it was such a stupid miscommunication. If she’d pressed on it, taken guesses, asked around, maybe she could’ve helped him not hurt. This new squad seemed good for him, and therapy was helping. She probably needed to address their relationship more in therapy, learn how to ask for what she needed. They had to an extent, helping her hold out as long as she had for him to open up.
“We’re okay, Sonny. I’m so proud of you.” She was nudging his nose with her own, not dropping his gaze.
“Thank you for being so patient.”
“I’d have waited for ya forever. First, last, and only, Sonny.”
“Come home.”
“We gotta consolidate now,” she teased gently. “But I’ll come home.”
“It’s in Brooklyn now. You’ll like it. I didn’t even get rid of that stupid dog statue.”
“He’s a very important dog statue.”
“I love you, you weirdo.”
“I love you too, nerd.” He missed laughing with her, even when they were both crying. The relief that flooded him was suddenly exhausting. Not telling her had been heavy on him for a long time, but he didn’t expect his body’s physical response to the openness. He felt like he did before he went on this pointless journey to hide the bad parts of his field from her. She knew what he did. She kissed him, slow and sweet and loving, and Sonny’s arms snaked around her. They’d kissed plenty since she left, but there was always a hesitance behind it. Unsureness around their status. Now, he was kissing his wife, not his estranged wife. Even if it took time, they were working towards her coming back home. They hadn’t had sex since their ill fated first run in post separation. It was slow and sentimental, and afterwards, he had a half second of panic she’d disappear. Instead of pulling away like his gut wanted, he curled around her frame, nuzzled into the crook of his neck.
“I missed that,” he murmured.
“Me too.” She rested her hand on his, and he could feel that she was smiling in how her cheeks moved. He felt greedy, wanting to feel every bit of her skin he was able to before he fell asleep. When he woke to find her still there, he was relieved, and even better, she’d twisted in the night, leg hooked over his hip and her chest pressed to his. They’d spent most of the night talking or tangled together, so they’d slept in until ten o’clock. He checked his phone to be sure everyone had made it through the night before. Once he reminded his mom he was spending the weekend and really wouldn’t be at Sunday dinner, he settled back in to watching her. After a while, she started to stir, pulling him closer. She’d been right, everything had changed once he told her. He didn’t feel like he had to keep any space between them.
“Morning, beautiful,” he whispered, and she stretched her arms over her head.
“Heya, handsome.” She pressed a kiss to his lips, and it took all his attention not to take her again. He’d made plans for the day, and he was determined to stick to them. Even if they hadn't reconciled, she was a sucker for the beach, even when it was cold, so he’d planned to take her to lunch, take her to get her nails done, and take her to walk the little shops he’d found. It would make her smile, and he’d missed the little trips they’d taken before. Other than going to the cabin, something she’d planned, it had been years between work and school and money. For their tenth anniversary, he was already planning, even though there was just over a year to plan. He wanted to take her back to New Orleans, just the pair of them together now and no disappointment on her part that her mom was there but ignoring her.
“I planned a day for us.” His hands trailed her spine, and he realized something else had shifted since he told her the reality. While he thought it wasn’t possible, he felt even closer to her. The men in his family, though well intentioned, had always told him it would be viewed as weaker to share his emotional world with anyone. They thought it was a little girly for him to be as sappy with her as he tended to be, tearing up at weddings and when he talked about how proud of her he was. But the bad things? Those were weaknesses that would drive her away. The realization that the depression and inability to separate work from her didn’t scare her off made him realize that letting her see it wasn’t going to break them. Hell, it seemed to bring her closer.
“Really?”
“Yeah. Lunch on the beach. Little walk on the beach after. Manicure- I know you, Tor. Don’t try to say you got one for Bella’s weddin. You love them but won’t take yourself ever- and then we can walk around some of the little shops and stuff.”
“That sounds like a real romantic day, Dom.”
“What can I say? I learned my lesson about not being romantic.”
“I’m excited to come home.”
“Me too, Tor.”

Reddie soulmate AU Chapter two.
Words-  1800
When Eddie woke up he started to get ready as usual. Today was a Friday and he was waiting for the weekend. Bill and Stan were both busy, Mike had chores, Ben was visiting Bev since she couldn’t make it this weekend, something about her getting in a fight at school Eddie remembered hearing. Richie was free though and had promised him a ‘Super awesome mega movie marathon. Needless to say, Eddie was excited.
He had even convinced his mom to let Richie stay the whole weekend. They would have Friday night through Sunday evening if they played it right.
Eddie looked down at his hands, R had left him a message. There was a picture of what he assumes was a poorly drawn sombrero with ‘fiesta friday’ written under it.
Eddie shook his head and grabbed the blue glitter pen that R personally requested, and drew a taco to match the Spanish theme.
Eddie dressed himself and finished getting his things ready by the time a laughing face had appeared on his hand.
Eddie talked to R for a few minutes before he had to wash the conversation down his sink to go outside and meet Richie.
Eddie grabbed his bag and went to wait on his porch, locking the door behind him. He went over to the side of his house and grabbed his bike as well. They decided it would be better than walking with everything they would need at the end of the day.
Richie showed up only seconds later, and he and Eddie began their ride to school.
“Hey Eds?” Richie asked after they had turned off of Eddie's street.
“Don’t call me Eds, but what?” Eddie said, turning to look at Richie. He caught a serious look cross his face before Richie turned towards him and a grin spread from ear to ear across his face. “In chem, I wasn’t to sure on seventeen. I went to my notes after the test but I couldn’t find anything about it.”
It took some more description of the question before Eddie figured out which one he meant. “Yeah, I wasn’t to sure about that one either. We can ask Stan when we get to school.”
Stan had taken summer classes in his eighth grade year so he could go to high school  the same year as the other losers. They had all helped them in his courses, not that he had needed it. He ended up having to tutor them sometimes.
They made normal conversation the rest of the way to the school. Richie tried out some voices, they had really started to get better. Eddie would make suggestions or comments on them to give Richie an outside view and feedback.
By the time they reached the school Eddie forgot all about the look on Richie's face, he must of imagined it or something.
Stan helped them on question seventeen and when the bell signaled they all split to go to class. Stan and Mike went to history together but other than that they all went to different classes.
As chemistry progressed, which was Eddie's third period class, he could see small dots that randomly appeared on both his hands. He smiled and tried his best to focus on taking notes from Mr.Sundor was giving in the front of the room.
He guessed that R had to be bored at this point of the day, he always seems to doodle on himself during Eddie's third period.
By the time Eddie go to his lunch at sixth period both his arms and hands were covered in the small dots and stars that were absentmindedly drawn. Like a small galaxy.
Eddie once again went to wash it all off before he went to lunch.
Eddie was shocked that Richie had been bringing up and stressing him about his soulmate, trying to figure out who it was that kept Eddie up late to talk.
Of course Eddie wanted to know as well but he doubted it was anyone in Derry, so he wasn’t in a huge rush.
His mother on the other hand wanted to know every detail Eddie found out but he was still figuring out a way to tell his mother that he wasn’t into girls.
Hell, the losers weren’t exactly the straightest group out there. At least seven out of four of his friends weren’t straight (that he knew of). It wasn’t exactly unheard of to have same sex soul mates or even just a same sex relationship in general. There was still a distaste for it but it was slowly getting more accepted by newer generations.
He knew Bill and Stan were happily dating. They were each other's soulmates which had outed them to the losers and their families. Stan's mother and father had trouble accepting it at first but they got over themselves pretty quickly. Bill's family had been accepting, they said they had always know Bill was different.
Richie had known since middle school that he was bi. He didn’t mean for his parents to find out when they did but he wasn’t called Trashmouth for nothing, he never knew when to shut up about sensitive topics, even when they were personal. They had tried to send him away to a christian camp so he could be ‘purged of his sins.’ but Richie had bluntly refused and left to climb into Eddie's window having a near panic attack. Somehow his parents were willing to let Richie stay as long as he wasn’t ‘pushing it in their faces’.
They all had suspicions about Bev being bi as well but they would let her tell them in her own time. She and Ben weren’t ‘dating’ yet but they both refused to talk about their soulmates and had been getting very close as of the late.
Mike was straight, same as Ben but they both were accepting without a second thought.
Eddie had figured himself out in the beginning of high school as well but had never had the confidence to tell his mother, even by blurting it out in a fight He didn’t know what to do! He would have to ask Richie for tips over the weekend.
‘Anyways.’ He thought, shaking away the train of thought. ‘Back to the game plan.’
The game plan was the after school he and Richie would stop by a gas station on their way to Richie's house and get a candy stash. Then go over to Richie's and grab his overnight bags before going over to Eddie's to start their forty eight hour movie marathon.
Eddie wasn’t sure how he was going to hide R from Richie, he figured he would have to come clean and tell him if he wanted to talk to R at all over the weekend. Maybe Richie wouldn’t be an ass about it? He hadn’t been for the past few days.
Eddie wasn’t going to lose hope.
As planned Eddie and Richie split from the losers and began to pedal to the nearest marathon, which happened to be on the way to Richie's house.
It was only a few minutes before they were in front of the candy selection debating on getting gummy bears or worms.
They agreed on bears and walked over to the counter will arms full of candy. The price came out to be just over ten dollars, which Richie insisted to paying since Eddie was hosting this weekend. It was vice versa for all of the losers. The group bought all the supplies for the host of whatever they were doing.
Then they were off once more, leaving the judgy cash register person behind them.
When they got to Richie's they put their bikes on the side of the porch and Rich went to unlock the door. They quickly headed inside and up the stairs, past where Richie's father, Wentworth Tozier was asleep on the couch with a game show playing on the TV.
It was a quick in and out mission. Richie had packed his bags the night before and gathered everything he would need. Hair brush? Check. Toothbrush? Check. Pajamas? Check. Mix tapes? Check. Some movies? Check. Clothes and pajamas? Check. They were good to go.
Eddie found it odd that he didn’t mind the fact the Richie's room was slightly messy. He had a few things precariously placed on the edge of tables and a few clothes on the floor but Eddie didn’t doubt that Richie could find anything in here if you asked.
Before Eddie could have more thoughts on the topic Richie grabbed his bag, they were about the leave, just as quiet as when they came in when Richie swung around. “Oh yeah! I almost forgot.” He whisper yelled with an almost giddy smile forming across his face. He grabbed his pack of glitter pens, missing the blue one that was at Eddie's house.
It was really just bad luck that when he turned back to face Eddie his bag knocked over a stack of books, large books. One was his English textbook. Both waited with bated breath until nearly a full minute had passed and they hadn’t heard noise from the livingroom.
Went Tozier wasn’t exactly… bad. Well, no. He was horrible but Eddie hoped for the best in people and their ability to change. He wasn’t abusive, at least in a physical aspect, that Eddie was aware of. He was just a very religious man, Methodist catholic if Eddie had it right. He didn’t exactly agree with Richie when they had been having an argument and Richie had told him and his mother that he was bisexual a few years back. Tried to send him to church camp to be ‘purged of his sins’. Needless to say Richie managed to talk his way out of that one by telling him upfront that he wasn’t going to some stupid camp to be told he was damaged or something stupid like that just because he liked to dip in both ends of the pool. Ever since Went hadn’t been very pleasant towards Richie.
Once they both felt it was safe then headed down the stairs, quiet as mice, and Eddie glanced at the chair where Went had once laid asleep. Before Eddie could even begin to panic Richie grabbed his Arm and pointed to the bathroom door where they could see a sliver of light under the door.
They were out of the house and down the street talking about which movie to watch first by the time the door swung open and out walked a pantsless man, clad with glasses who was digging his boxers out of his ass crack and walked to the kitchen to get another beer, waiting for his wife to get home and heat up some left overs.

17 Training Myths, Addressed By A Running Coach
Ever wondered about something running-related and looked for an answer on the internet? It can be very confusing: questionable advice, mansplaining, conspiracy theories, products that could either change your life or permanently maim you by accident, flimsy anecdotal evidence, amateur medical diagnoses, and other bullshit. It can be hard to wade through. I wanted some real answers to some of the stuff I’ve seen out there, so I reached out to a successful running coach: David Roche, who along with Megan Roche, coaches runners through Some Work All Play, co-authored the book The Happy Runner, and hosts the Some Work, All Play Podcast. David was a good sport and provided some great insight.
  MYTH #1:
Training should be painful.
David: The goal of running training is to make faster, more efficient movement take less energy with time. As an athlete’s running economy improves, most training should feel easy, and even workouts should only be harder in small doses, primarily involving supercompensation stimuli (like races and extra intense workouts every few weeks). An athlete that pushes to pain will aerobically regress even with consistent training, as their base foundation erodes away. And that’s if they somehow manage to avoid nasty outcomes of choosing to do something that is actively painful. Examples of such outcomes include stress fractures, overtraining syndrome, or waking up one morning and realizing that running sucks and should be reserved as punishment for our most violent criminals.
  MYTH #2:
If you want to run fast on race day, you have to run as fast as you can every day you train.
David: Runners are not the bus from the movie Speed, set to detonate if they go below a certain pace. Sometimes that’s hard to remember, especially early in a running journey. As an athlete starts out, there are enough low-hanging aerobic fruit that consistently faster running may be rewarded. You’ll often see that in college teams, where easy days can turn into low-hanging-fruit-measurement contests. But later on, those same patterns that may be rewarded at first start to be punished. The aerobic system can even regress, as musculoskeletal output and biomechanical efficiency goes down with it. That truth leads to what all athletes learn (if they are lucky enough not to blow up first). Long-term progression is about making easy running easy, fast running purposeful, and avoiding too much of the grey area where injuries and stagnation await.
  MYTH #3:
What works for the fastest runners in the world should work for everyone.
David: Interpolation from outliers is a dangerous game because what makes someone a gold medalist also makes them respond to stimuli differently. Background genetic realities are overlaid with environmental influences to create superhumans. Hard work matters, sure. But often part of what we’re seeing is the genetic talent to respond to hard work in a non-linear, anomalous way. Throw the same hard work at someone that responds a bit more slowly, or just a bit differently, and their physiology could rebel from the cellular level on up.
The body doesn’t know miles, it knows stress. If an athlete does the same types of miles as a gold medalist, there’s a good chance the stress could turn their body and spirit into a pile of smoldering rubble.
  MYTH #4:
Stretching before you run, every time you run, will cause you to become weak, sad, and to develop new food allergies.
David: Numerous studies show that pre-exercise stretching can reduce subsequent power output from muscles, and it has no protective effect against injuries. However, go to a professional running race, and you may see some of the best athletes in the world doing some light stretching before and after their events. And stretching/yoga could have long-term benefits that are difficult to measure in a single-variable study. The moral of the story is that different things work for everyone. Find what works for you and don’t be too swayed by what the pros do or how I characterize exercise physiology studies if your experience varies. Actually, I take that back. Listen to everything I say. On a related note, numerous studies show you should get a dog. It’s science.
  MYTH #5:
You should always eat pasta the night before a race, and the night before a long training run, and the night before a short training run, and the night before a rest day. Pasta, pasta, pasta, yay, pasta!
David: There is some truth to the pasta legend. Glycogen availability is important for athletes, with even moderate depletion reducing performance in studies. In addition, long-term low energy availability can hurt hormone balance and contribute to amenorrhea. Some fascinating new science is finding that even controlling for daily energy intake, higher amounts of within-day deficits can cause increases in cortisol, along with sex hormone disturbances. So yes, one way of interpreting that information is that pasta (and other foods) are important for sexual health. The fact that I am not sponsored by Noodles & Company is a travesty.
Underfueling can have long-term, disastrous health consequences that go far beyond the race course. But avoiding underfueling does not require pasta. A well-balanced diet can keep an athlete with plenty of glycogen availability to perform their best at running and life. That can include some pasta, but make sure it includes whatever else you enjoy too, with one underlying rule to fuel an athletic life: Eat enough, always. Eat too much, sometimes. Eat too little, never.
  MYTH #6:
It’s not a legitimate trail run until everyone participating is completely soaked in blood.
David: A general medical rule is that it’s optimal to avoid having your insides on the outside, or your outsides on the inside. A spattering of blood is likely OKthink a drizzle of olive oil on your baguette. A “soaking” like a piece of battered French toast may require medical attention.
  MYTH #7:
Vegetables are good for you.
David: Fiber is important and connected to heart and colon health. Like most rules, though, that applies in moderation. I have seen athletes who get MRIs and the report describes entirely full colons, like it’s a pre-Covid line for Space Mountain. Subsequent visits to specialists revealed that the findings were products of the high-calorie eating required of athletes and the high-volume eating required of high-fiber diets. It’s all about balance. Some vegetables = likely good. Lots of vegetables = possibly good. All vegetables = that moment when the kids in the Space Mountain line are screaming and smell bad, but permeating your whole existence.
  MYTH #8:
You should never, ever miss a workout, under any circumstances.
David: Running training is about consistency. Workouts may get those sexy Strava kudos, but at the cellular level, the body is interpreting that workout as one of many stress signals that can spur a number of different responses. If you’re healthy and ready, the response may be adaptation. If you’re tired or dealing with a potential injury, the response to the very same workout may be a blow-up that derails the coming weeks or months of training. Lots of athletes can do workouts. Show me an athlete with the courage to miss a workout when something is off, and I’ll show you an athlete that can nail the long-term consistency needed to get close to their ultimate potential.
  MYTH #9:
If you have to smoke while running, you should vape.
David: While vaping may be slightly less harmful than smoking, it is still not safe, with significant cardiovascular and addiction risks. Plus, if you started smoking or vaping due to tobacco industry propaganda saying it’s cool, the joke is on you two times over. One, it’s not healthy or cool. Two, even if it was cool, you’re a runner, so that cancels out any background coolness.
  MYTH #10:
If you sweat a lot, that means the training is working.
David: Sweat rates are highly dependent on conditions and individual physiology. Some athletes glisten, while others seem like broken fire hydrants that were granted their wish of becoming a real live boy (that’s me). Sweat is a normal physiological response that isn’t a verdict on you or your training. But it may be a verdict on whether you can get by wearing one of those all-natural deodorants.
  MYTH #11:
Stride length is the No. 1 determining factor of successful runners. As such, you should work on increasing the length of each stride to 9 to 12 feet.
David: Stride mechanics are highly individual. The main requirements are to keep your center of mass over your landing zone and to avoid leaning back. To do that, the general rule is that quicker, softer strides are better than long, loping strides. Average stride length at fast efforts will increase as an athlete gets fitter, but only as a proxy variable for power output per stride, rather than a specific focus on long strides.
  MYTH #12:
Pheidippides, who ran the first-ever marathon, died upon completing it in 490 BC. Thanks to the development of training methods, modern-day marathons have a fatality rate of only 50 percent.
David: Estimates put the number of deaths per 100,000 marathon runners at around 2, or 0.002 percent. Meanwhile, 1 in 3,000 people are struck by lightning in their lifetimes, or 0.03 percent. Also, a bar of chocolate can have up to 60 insect parts and be deemed safe for consumption. What I’m saying is that there’s a lot that we can’t control in life, and Pheidippides probably had an underlying heart condition.
  MYTH #13:
Running in winter temperatures below 32 degrees will give you hemorrhoids.
David: Cold weather running will not give you hemorrhoids. But I suspect that whoever wrote this myth already had hemorrhoids, and maybe it gave them a convenient excuse. So…yes…cold weather running causes hemorrhoids. You’re safe here.
  MYTH #14:
Chemtrails.
David: I am just now learning that some people on the internet think that chemtrails are a mind-control agent used for nefarious purposes. Remember that context the next time a random person leaves a mean comment on one of your posts.
  MYTH #15:
Chuck Norris was offered the role of John McClane in Die Hard, but turned it down.
David: What type of movie is Die Hard? A Christmas movie. If Chuck Norris were John McClane, what type of movie would it be? A bad movie.
  MYTH #16:
Coronavirus is caused by 5G towers.
David: Actually, 5G towers cause chlamydia.
  MYTH #17:
Kendrick Lamar’s new album is dropping soon.
David: Oh damn, really? We need to end this article right now. THE BOPS AWAIT.

They stayed longtime in the playground, enough to let Niles catch his breath and strength but also to use the tuna. Unfortunately, there were so many noises around them, the cats weren’t around. But the Human really wanted to try again and Gavin thought, and was right, he really needed to stop trying.
However, he was so exhausted after this outing, he needed to rest a bit. They took the lift to arrive in the right level and immediately, Niles went to the sofa to sit down. He took out his shoes and pushed them beneath the coffee table and looked the blank board with a tiny relieve thought there still was this thing in him. He needed to understand…
He glanced to Gavin, as he took off his mittens and pushed back his vest. Gavin had just pulled out his boots to let them in the entry but he will certainly quickly tidy up everything. He breathed in his hands, trying to warm then because they were really red now.
The Android came to him and sat before pressing his forehead against his, his palm around his face..
“What are you doing?”
“Am I disturbing you? I’m checking your temperature. Ah, that’s weird.” He slid his hands. “Your cheeks are really hots but your forehead his so cold.”
“Stop doing that!”
And once again, Niles’ heart was racing. Did he push him too much?
“I’m fine. You don’t have to check as much,” he said.
“I’m a caretaker now, what do you expect me to do?” Gavin asked.
The words were a bit hurtful for Niles. His brain was so confuse. The Android had feelings for him or he was kissing him because he felt his ‘patient’ needed it? How to ask that?
And a part of him wanted to take advantage of that… Probably the old asshole who would have sex with people carving for love or even quick adventure.
Could he do that to Gavin?
“I guess I don’t prepare you a soup or a hot cocoa?”
“No…
“What about a bath? You look really cold.” And Niles really liked bath.
Just using soft and warm blankets could work too but the GV200 didn’t like the idea since that could throw the man in a loop.
But the man only shook his head because all he wanted was to stay there and maybe jump in that loop that would protect him.
Gavin took his hands and brought them on his cheeks so warm.
“What are you doing?”
“You’re so cold. I can rise the temperature of my body to heat you slowly. If it’s too quickly, you can have a temperature chook and that could kill you.”
“Sound interesting.” Niles realized he said that loud. “Crap…”
“Hey,” Gavin said, pressing his forehead against his once again, spreading the warm. “Don’t say that ever again. I know it’s hard but don’t think about that. I think you’re awesome and you’re doing a lot of things.”
“Most of the people don’t struggle to just go out.”
“Most of the people don’t see the inner hell. Don’t think to the others because they’re not you. They can’t be you. It’s your progress. I don’t care if your neighbor can run the marathon because she didn’t stay as much time without moving. What you did today was big.”
Niles frowned.
“For you.”
“Why are you kind?” Niles asked, sincerely couldn’t get it.
“Why shouldn’t I?”
The Human shook his head. It was hard to him because Gavin could be really harsh and the second after caring. He liked the two but it was still hard to understand for him. And more likely, why he deserved that?
“Is it because you’re happy to have a place to stay?”
“Honestly? At first, yeah. I cleaned up everything to have a purpose for your or for your brother. I didn’t care as long as I didn’t end up in that tank again. At first I didn’t need you but I don’t know. I’m good around you. Maybe because we’re not so far away from each other? Maybe because you were the first to need me? To be honest, I don’t know. I like you.” He looked him right in his light blue eyes. “Why me?”
“You were the first,” he said. “The first to take care of me.” He looked down. “But especially, you said you needed me. I can’t remember someone who truly needed me in the lifeday. Connor would say him be he never needed me… I want to have you around because I’m more valuable when you’re there. I’m not a good person, Gav’.”
“And maybe I’m carin’ for you because I don’t wanna lose you? I need ya. That mean I want you around…” He shrugged, his forehead against him. “We’re all asshole, you know. When if you genuinely care for someone, there is always a moment you’ll be a stupid selfish. That doesn’t mean what you do don’t count.”
Niles didn’t say a thing to that. He was looking Gavin, didn’t think a second he could think that. And didn’t think a second before the reason he wanted to have him happy… or even Connor. Yes he did it for him, a bit, but also for them. But for his lovely brother, for example, doing a thing to make him happy had become like a second nature. In the end, did he still do that for him or for the other?
For example, he didn’t like to take photo… but he did. Because Connor wanted it…
“So… it’s not bad if I say I want your warm?”
“Come here.” Gavin passed his arms around him and brought him against him, spreading the legs to pass them around him.
Niles shifted a bit so he could kneel and feel him more. Gavin grabbed the blankets and passed them around them, creating a cocoon where the man could press his head against his shoulder.
“My hands are still cold. Can I?”
“Yeah.”
Gavin moved a bit, thinking he’ll put them on his cheeks but Niles passed his fingers under the hoodie and slid his hands on his skins.
“Oh. Okay.”
“Does that disturb you?”
“No. In fact, no.”
In the couch, Niles was still in Gavin’s arms, surrounded by the warm blanket and he had his head against his shoulder as they were looking lol cats. They believed they weren’t in the loop because they were sitting.
Well, they hoped.
Niles was a bit dizzy but they needed to do ‘something’. Just having something to keep their mind busy while they were cuddling.
And the man felt so stupid because damn he loved so much to be hold by him. Even with his brother cuddling to make him happy was sometime hard. And there…
He felt like in those stupid movies, were the heroes were always happy, even seeing star and only wanted to be with their lover. Or those really stupid erotic book were they met and loved each other for the live and get fiancé in a matter of weeks but so full of stupidity, manipulation and… certainly not love.
Okay. Let’s get back to the stupid romance movie then.
“I like this cat, he’s cute.” Gavin giggled when the kitten jumped and… just fell. “Look at this one, he’s so fluffy.”  He smiled, seeing it slide in a long vase. “Oh… does he have only three paws? Oh… Damn, he’s so bold!”
Niles looked him with tenderness. He loved how he got amazed by cats all the time. He really wished to be able to have a cat here. As he was looking him, a little sound echoed in the room.
“Is that…” Gavin stopped to look a beautiful black cat and turned toward Niles.
“No?”
“Damn!” the Android laughed.
And even more because he heard again that tiny growl
“You’re hungry.”
“I made a lot of efforts,” the man said. “That doesn’t mean I can swallow anything.”
“Yay?”
Niles nodded. He felt that hunger but really, he couldn’t feel that need to eat. Anyway he hadn’t eat at all from the day and take something was really important.
But he didn’t want to…
“What do you think about us making food together?”
“No today, Gav’,” he replied. “And I don’t want you to get up.”
“Do you mean I’m your prisoner?” Gavin asked with a smile.
“Yes. Won’t let any plumber or knight approach you.”
“Hu?”
“Mario and Zelda?”
Gavin blinked.
“So you know lol cats but not video game?”
“Didn’t need that?” the Android said.
“You need to look that up,” Niles said.
“Okay. Only if you follow what your body wants!” Gavin let out with a cocky smile.
“Is it what you want?”
“Of course.”
Niles bent over him and kissed his lips softly.
“And there, you will say to me you just did what your body wants?”
The man gave him that fake smile and Gavin only wanted to see his true smile because it was so bright, so beautiful. He never wanted something beautiful before but there… he carved for this beauty.
“Okay. Okay!”
Gavin got up and Niles groaned. And just after, he let out a tiny surprise scream because he was rose in the air and could feel the Android’s hands on the back in the thighs.
“Gavin?!”
“You’re comin’ with me!” he said, as he walked to the kitchen.
Once again, he felt strange. Damn, this Android was so full of surprise. He was cocky, unpredictable, strong, intelligent, funny… He was everything Niles never thought he could love in someone, for example the cuss, the extreme boldness, the joke all the time, and yet… he liked every bit.
He liked being caught by him, lift in his arms.
Then, he felt the hard cold work plan as Gavin put him on it.
“What do you want to eat? Something liquid? A bit solid?”
“It feels hard to eat.”
“It was hard to get up and walk and you did great.”
Niles pressed his lips together in a thin line.
“We eat together?
“Okay.” Niles forced a smile.
Gavin passed his hand on his waist. “But I think you shouldn’t force yourself with some things,” he added.
“You change your mind all the time,” Niles taunted.
“Let’s say…” Gavin moved to the sink to fill a skillet. “Walk and eat is good for your health. Forcing you to smile is rather bad for your mind.”
He put the tiny pan on the furnace and turned the electric spot under it before taking a bottle with a dark liquid and poured two spoon on it. That will bring a soft taste of soy and chicken at the same time.
“You think?”
“Yup.” Gavin pressed his elbow next to him as the water was warming. “It looked too, earlier with that kid.”
“I was really surprised… First, I didn’t think Connor knew a child? And then, he’s Hank Anderson’s son. That means Connor is really well with his new partner and… I’m not so surprise about that because my brother is really friendly…”
Gavin nodded.
“But…” Niles sighed.
The Android moved his hand and put it on his leg.
“I’m just jealous, I guess. I thought we had a special relationship,” he explained.
“I don’t know that well. I… don’t have a brother… and in a way, you’re my first relationship and you like it when we kiss… I could sense you won’t kiss him that way,” he said with a giggle. “Or I need some photo?”
“Stop that!” Niles giggled. Why he loved so much his dumbness? He pressed his hand on his. “You don’t like the kisses?”
He shook his head. “I like them. But I like them everywhere.”
The man bent a bit and cupped his stingy cheek, pressing his lips against his forehead.
“Thank you.”
Gavin kissed his wrist in return. “Your brother loves you. I’m sure about that.”
Niles nodded. At first he wanted to say ‘but why he didn’t talk about that to me’ when he realized… Connor certainly talked about that. However, at a point, he stopped to listen to him. August… It was three months before. He was already really really deep in his own hate…
“I need to do something…”
Gavin looked up to him.
Niles pinched his lips, once again. It was hard for him because he wanted to do some progress but he also didn’t know what to do… For example, he wanted to invite Connor over a meal and really talk to him but he couldn’t eat. And that would worry his brother. But just inviting him for nothing would be weird… And plus, his twin was busy, no? But he could do something, right?
Right!
Oh God, since Gavin he felt a bit of motivation and courage. And there it was important because it wasn’t for him. It was for his brother. Something maybe important? His work was important for him and he admired Hank since the beginning so it was maybe just that? Just doing some baby-sitting for someone he wanted to be liked by?
Niles closed his eyes. He had an idea but he couldn’t do it that way because he had that pride or that fear to hate himself even more.
“Do you think…”
It was hard to talk.
“Yes, I think.”
Niles opened his eyes and blinked, seeing the huge smile.
“Your humor starts to become really lame,” the man warned.
“The worst? I know it! But you love that!”
“Yes.”
Gavin smiled more and Niles loved his smile. He wanted to kiss it.
“So what?”
“Can you search for cursus from home?”
The Android smile became wider and he nodded.
“What kind of studies do you want to do?”
“I’d like…” Niles looked away, feeling really stupid right now. “Trying to become teacher.”

20 Hot Things to Say to a Guy over Text & Have Him Drooling over You
Do you want to make your guy horny or leave him fantasizing about you all the time? Of course, you do. Learn these hot things to say to a guy over text.
There’s a huge difference between flirting with someone in person and doing it over text. When you’re face-to-face, you’re at an advantage in the sense that they can see and touch you. But if you learn the right kind of hot things to say to a guy over text, you’re golden.
Men are visual, so, it’s much easier for them to become aroused when you’re in front of them. But then again, you’re face-to-face and that can sometimes be scary. I mean, no one wants to say the wrong thing or embarrass themselves in front of the guy they’re flirting with.
Ugh, that just reminded me of some traumatizing moments in my past. So, if anyone can relate to that, it’s me. When I get nervous, I either giggle uncontrollably or stutter. Those are my options. [Read: The subtle signs a guy likes you and is trying not to show it]
The 4 most important tips when texting a guy
With texting, you have an advantage of not being in front of them. And because you’re not face-to-face, you have the luxury of sitting in the comfort of your bed or couch without flinching an inch. You don’t need to look sexy, you can be in your PJs, he’s not going to see.
Plus, you’re also given time to respond, time to come up with something clever that’ll keep him on his toes. And that’s what you want, you want him to be aroused but also intrigued by your brain and words.
So even though I’m always finger-wagging against texting, this is actually a good time to start texting the guy you like. Just don’t send any nudes, at least for now. [Read: 30 hot, sexy example texts to start a naughty text marathon with a guy]
#1 Don’t jump right into it. You want to get the conversation off on a sexy note, but don’t jump right into it with a provocative line. Let’s look like we have some skills here. I mean, if you’re in a rush and text him, “9 pm my place” that’s fine, but that’s if you just want him to come over at 9 pm.
If you want a conversation with him, start the conversation off normally and then if he asks you how you are or what you’re doing, there’s your moment to make the conversation sexy and naughty. [Read: How to initiate sexting without making it too obvious]
#2 Do it when you feel like it. If you’re not in the mood to have a hot and sexy conversation via text, then don’t start a conversation. Sometimes we feel like we have to in order to keep the guy around, but listen, there’s nothing worse than talking dirty to someone who’s not into. He’s going to read right through it, and it’ll put a damper on things.
#3 Take it easy with pictures. When you’re trying to figure out the right kind of hot things to say to a guy over text, I know you want to send a photo of your ass to him but this feature is about texting. I don’t want to sound like a mom because I’ve sent photos, so I’m purely speaking from experience. You don’t want to send someone photos of yourself when you don’t know them. If you trust them, then you can. If not, don’t do it. [Read: How to take a sexy picture and look great every time]
#4 You don’t have to have sex after. When we dirty talk with people, there’s this assumption that you’re going to sleep with them at some point in time, but listen, that’s not necessarily the case.
Through dirty texting, you can realize that you aren’t on the same sexual level or maybe you’re just doing it for fun. That doesn’t mean this conversation has to progress into anything.
The 20 must-know hot things to say to a guy over text
It’s about making the most of your texts.
#1 I wish you were naked in bed with me right now. Well, if he’s not in his car driving to your house by the end of reading that message, then he has me confused. [Read: How to start sexting a guy when you’ve never ever done it before]
#2 Good morning sexy! Hope you had sweet dreams ;). The wink, of course, is optional, but I couldn’t resist. It’s a cute morning message to send to a guy you like. [Read: Good morning texts to make him feel loved and adored]
#3 I can’t focus at work, I keep thinking about what you did to me last night. This message is the perfect mix of sweet and naughty. You’ll have him thinking about last night.
#4 I learned this new yoga pose, I’m pretty flexible now. Well, he’s going to want to test this out in real life.
#5 Guess what I’m wearing right now? This will help him get a visual of you in his head and once that happens, it’s game over for him.
#6 Have you been working out? I noticed your arms in that shirt you wore. Even if he hasn’t, this is a huge ego boost for him. Plus, it shows that you’ve been checking him out.
#7 If you could do anything to me right now, what would you do? Oh, he’s going to answer that as fast as he can. [Read: 20 sexy text messages to start a naughty conversation with him]
#8 You’ve been on my mind all day long. This leaves him to ask what you’ve been thinking about. From there, your options are endless.
#9 I just found out I can text with one hand. Want to know where my other hand is? Oh, we all know where your other hand is.
#10 Oh, just FYI I’m not wearing any underwear right now. You know, it’s just an innocent FYI. He should know, you know…
#11 I’ve been really misbehaving today. Looks like I’ll need to be punished… If he loves to spank you, then he’s going to love answering this text. [Read: How and when to spank a bad, bad girl]
#12 The moment I thought of you, my underwear was wet. Well, this is pretty hot, but it’s also telling him that he makes you horny and needs to do something about it.
#13 Do you wanna play a game? Of course, he wants to play a game. He’ll play any game, he’s a guy. You could play “Simon Says” or come up with a fun and sexy game to try over text. [Read: The sexiest and naughtiest texting games to stay horny all night long]
#14 Do you want to see my new toy? Having the thought of using a sex toy on you will probably make him lose his mind.
#15 I had a dream about you last night. Well, you can do any direction you’d like with this one. You could make a joke or go straight for something naughty.
#16 I have a couple things to check off my to-do list tonight. Want to help? Oh yes, he does. He’ll gladly help you with that list.
#17 How you do feel about having sex < insert new place>. Why not get him excited with suggesting something spontaneous and new?
#18 Send an obvious and simple emoji. Emojis can clear a lot of things up. Sometimes you don’t need a hot text full of words. Sometimes, all you need is an emoji. Preferably the eggplant one and the lips. If he doesn’t understand, then he doesn’t deserve it.
#19 I wish you were here right now next to me. Yeah and by the sound of that, he wishes he was next to you too. [Read: 16 fun emojis to make any conversation sound naughty]
#20 I really want to reenact this porn scene I just watched. Well, how can he say no to that?
[Read: Your complete guide to safe and sexy sexting your guy]
If you want to turn your guy on, you need to know a few of these hot things to say to a guy over text. Hopefully, you’ll use some the next time you see your phone blinking.

The (single) Hopeless Romantic Life
Alrighty! This is anything but my rant blog, mostly cause I don't like ranting on social media, but fuck I reeaallly need to talk about how awful this is, at least a bit. (Also I'm extremelt sorry for any of my followers whp don't care, cause I have no idea how this dang site works, and I have no idea how to put a Keep Reading thing here. Sorry!)
I am a hopeless romantic - one of the most hopeless you will ever see in your life. I'm not just in love with the idea of love - I'm infatuated. I want to sprinkle rose petals on the floor leading up to the bedroom where I've prepared a cake, some drinks, and a marathon of some netflix show or movie. I want to cudle up under a warm, soft blanket in wintertime as we watch a movie and drink hot coacoa. I want to make a candlelit, spaghetti dinner so we can do the classing "Lady and the Tramp" kissing scene. I want to slow dance with her in pajamas to soft music. I want to hold open the door for her as we waltz into some fancy resturaunt, or maybe even just a Wendy's. I want to go to a planetarium or aquarium just so I could look at her eyes light up below the stars or look at her talk with the fish. I want to give her my coat when it's cold, my umbrella when it rains, my fan when it's hot. I want her to realize I don't like sex, and that I'd rather just spend our time playing a video game. I want her to accept that as we play together, talking about our favorite characters and classes. I want to flirt with her in a D&D session, even. Yeah. I'm that kind of person. I'd go a bit too far sometimes, because that's what love is supposed to be in my eyes.
I have also never dated anyone. Ever. And my god, it sucks. My one goal in life, aside from being an author, is to live a nice life with a happy wife. And I can't find anyone. I've started trying to clean myself up mentally and physically, started lifting weights to get fit, started talking to more people and come out of my clamshell. And I'm seeing progress, but at 16, I guess I'm just getting desperate. And what's worse is all the doubts floating in my head.
Is it because I can't express that to others without them lauging? Is it because I'm a lesbian and there aren't enough near me to love and adore properly? Is it because I'm bad with words, and will say the wrong thing because my brain doesn't process everything correctly the first time? Is it because of my many mental issues, that sometimes shut me down completely? Is it because I'm an asexual, on top of all that? Is it because I don't see sex as the end-all-be-all of a relationship? Is it because I'm still a screw-up, that was just born wrong?
And what's the answer? Like hell if I know! I wish I knew, at least a little bit! I think that'd help an awful lot. But in the meantime, I've got all this love and care to share, but no one to share it with. And it's not just a personality trait anymore - it's practically a burden. It sucks like hell. I just need a girlfriend.
Oh wow I'm sorry lol, that was too ranty for what I normally like to post. Sorry. Thanks for reading this, though! You're a dear. :D

10 Creative Date Ideas for Long-Distance Couples
Distance is not the end-all of relationships
If you are in a long-distance relationship, then you know better than anyone else how much of a gigantic bummer they are. It’s the little things like long hugs after work and kisses on the cheek while on dates that you miss the most. The monotony of scheduled calls and video chats also takes its toll on most couples making the experience harder.
What you probably do not know is that there is a lot that you can do with your partner even when you’re physically apart! Below are ten date ideas you should try to spice things up and better connect with your long-distance beau.
10 ways you can have fun together… but apart
1. Movie or TV show marathons
This is the easiest long-distance date idea to plan and carry out. There are different ways to do this, but they all require you to be constantly communicating. You could be watching the movie separately but keeping in touch through texts to share your reactions. Or you could make it more intimate by using a video call to actually watch each other’s reaction to the movie.
Pick a night of the week and make it your regular movie date. Or follow a show together and make it your thing by becoming a fandom couple.
YOU MAY ALSO LIKE: AmoLatina.com – Features and Services Review.
2. Play some online games
This is a very versatile date idea. It is especially awesome if you and your significant other are avid gamers. Playing together or even against each other allows you to bond over something you love while hanging out and having fun.
If you have never played a video game in your life, do not fret; this idea is still valid. There are many other types of games you can play online. You could play online poker, monopoly, chess, ‘20 questions’, or whatever else. The point is that you both challenge each other and get to enjoy yourselves.
3. Cook together
Love cooking? How about a cook-off with your beau? You could try the same or different recipes and be your own judges. Honestly speaking though, it isn’t really about how the meal turns out. It is about spending time together and creating something at the same time.
In this case, cooking while on a video call is a great idea. It gives the sense that he or she is in the kitchen with you and makes it all that much more fun.
4. Take fun online classes
Another great way to spend time together while apart is taking online classes together. It is important that you both find something that you are good at or at the very least interested in. It could be a business class, a flying class, a research class or whatever else you find.
To make it more interesting, synchronize your class schedules if you can so you can both attend class simultaneously. The good thing with this date idea is that it increases your common interests and gives you a whole lot more to talk about.
5. Improvised scavenger hunts
A scavenger hunt might be a little harder to plan while apart but it is without a doubt super fulfilling. For it to work, at least one of you needs to understand the city, neighborhood or house layout. Also, instead of leaving clues all over the place simply send them in the form of texts or deliver them through calls and let the hunter call back when they figure it out.
The best part is planning the surprise reward at the end. Here, let your imagination do all the work. It could be a care package with romantic gifts that you sent through the post office. Or maybe it is a surprise letter you left in their closet on your last visit. It could even be something fun and naughty like a video sex call as a reward for all the hard work. Remember that it is all up to you how you want the game to end.
6. Dance party
If you both love music and dancing, then the distance must be really playing games on your minds. I mean, you probably don’t want to go to the club without your person, but you miss letting loose. If this is the story of your life, then a dance party should be your number one long distance relationship date idea.
As with most other date ideas on this list, you will need to do this one while on a video call. Just come up with a killer playlist of your favorite songs and get dancing.
7. Work out together
A couple that works out together stays together. Couple workouts are a great way to bond while away from each other. These days, there are numerous apps and online services designed for this specific niche. They allow you to plan activities together and monitor each other’s progress. That way, you are still fitness buddies despite being separated by hundreds or even thousands of miles.
8. Virtual tours
A virtual tour is a great idea, especially for couples where one party has moved somewhere new. Now you get to show your love the new city or the new apartment and bond over what you like or don’t like about the new environment.
Another awesome virtual tour idea for long distance date nights is virtual haunted house trips. Get the crap scared out of you together with one of the many online scare or escape houses. Word of caution though, if you scare easy, this might not be the best date idea for you because there’s no one to hold on to through all those jump scares. But if you and beau have balls the size of Texas then try it out and see if you can handle it.
9. Simple catch-up video calls
Sometimes all you need is some alone time together with no distractions. In this case, nothing hits the spot better than a long video call after work. You get to see them and remind yourself of how much you love that smile or the twinkle in their eyes. You get to know what’s been going on in their lives. It is simple, yet highly effective when it comes to bonding while apart.
10. Surprise visits
Finally, why not give your partner a heart attack by visiting them unannounced? Plan a visit and surprise them! Trust me; this one-on-one interaction beats every other idea on this list 10-nil.
Conclusion
All these dates are super easy to plan and execute. All you need is an adventurous spirit and a great internet connection. Feel free to come up with other date ideas based on what you and your partner love to do. Just remember that it is all about spending extra time together and having as much fun as possible.

When You Miss Him: 20 Mind Tricks to Stop Missing the Wrong Guy
Is there anything worse than that feeling in the pit of your stomach, like when you miss him? Here’s how to get better when you’re feeling lonely.
Loss is like someone tearing your heart out, right through your chest. The reason they call it heartbreak is because it feels like your heart is going to break in half and you’re not going ever to feel right again. So, when you miss him, it can feel like the sun stopped shining and the dark clouds are forever going to eclipse your sad and pathetic existence.
20 mind tricks to try when you miss him
The good news is that although you can’t have what you want, or the guy you want for whatever reason, the sun will shine again. That I can promise you. It is hard to do all sorts of things when you miss him, but there are steps you can take to make it better.
#1 Think of all the things you didn’t like about him. When we break up with people or miss them, our brains have a tendency to only remember the good things and the good times. There were undoubtedly things that you didn’t like about him, like his need to always be right or inability to help do the dishes.
Sometimes we have to remind ourselves of the things that we won’t miss to get past the mental list you have already made of what you will. [Read: 10 stages of a breakup and how to get through them]
#2 Keep yourself busy. Nothing is worse than quiet time when you miss him. Idle minds really are the devil’s playground because they allow you to fill the space in with memories and despair.
I know that you probably don’t feel like being around people right now and are sad, but I promise you that if you can just get yourself together and out the door, you will rarely regret getting out of the house and occupying your mind.
#3 Do all the things that you didn’t when you were together. When you are a couple, you sometimes give up the things you love because there isn’t enough time, or your significant other simply isn’t a big fan.
If you love the beach, but he hated the sand, go to the beach. Sometimes getting past heartbreak involves remembering the you that you were before he entered into your life. [Read: 15 lessons you can learn from your own breakups]
#4 Find a hobby. All those things that you have dreamed about are all doable now. You don’t have to answer to anyone and have much more time, so find out what you love and what you are passionate about and go for it.
Become a photographer for the hell of it, write your memoirs, or take up watercolors. Now is the time to forget about him and start focusing on what makes you happy without him.
#5 Go out as much as possible. If your friends suggest that you would be perfect with one of their co-workers, don’t have the immediate thought that you aren’t ready to date yet and opt out!
Meeting as many new people as possible and continually putting yourself out there, will leave you open to having fun, making connections, and yes, even though you say you aren’t ready, only fate knows when it is time for love to find you. So, let it do its job by making yourself available. [Read: Rebound relationships and why they’re the best thing to get over a guy]
#6 Take a new class. Find the local gym nearby and take a new exercise class. Or, if you already belong to one, find a class that you wouldn’t ever consider and take it. Doing things outside of the box will help you to find things that you like that have nothing to do with your past.
It is also a way to meet people you have things in common with and a great thing to do when you miss him. The best part? Exercise will also help you chase the blues away. [Read: The most common things all women do when they have a broken heart]
#7 Let it go and stop rehashing. Some of us are *ahem*… rehashers. I am including myself in this category. I talk about things ad nauseam to try to make sense and find closure. What I find is that instead of doing either of those things, I get stuck in a rut saying the same old things and rehashing things that I need to put away and move on from.
Instead of holding onto memories or trying to find out why he left, why he had to go, or simply why it didn’t work, stop talking about it. When you feel the impulse to ruminate, grab your shoes and go for a run. Working through the anxiety is much better than drudging up old feelings again and again.
#8 Put away pictures and memories…. at least for a while. If your apartment or home is full of pictures of the two of you, it may be holding you in the past. I am not suggesting that you forget your relationship or even that you get rid of the pictures.
Maybe it is just time to put them away for just a bit so that you can get back to life. You can always put them back afterward when you have grieved, and those memories are no longer sad. But bring back good thoughts. [Read: 15 very effective rules to forget someone you once cared for]
#9 Return his things via mail. Don’t hold onto his things in hopes of seeing him again. You are only holding yourself back. When you miss him, keeping his belongings as a constant reminder isn’t helping. Return them in a box via mail to get past the hurt of seeing them all the time.
#10 Avoid triggers. There are going to be things that trigger your memories and bring back the hurt. Learn what they are to avoid catapulting yourself back into anguish. If a chick flick sets you off, don’t watch it. If you both had pizza every Friday, skip it. Don’t give into your routine, it will only keep you stuck.
#11 Avoid your old hangouts. If you keep going back to the well, you are going to find that it isn’t satiating your thirst. Hanging out at all the old places is only making you miserable and ensuring that you aren’t moving on and forward.
Avoid those spots that have the most laden emotions to move past the hurt. [Read: I miss my ex-boyfriend – 15 ways to really stop missing him for good]
#12 Make a new goal. Another great tip for when you miss him is focusing on a goal to keep you in the here and now and allow you to move from your past. Make a commitment to get a promotion, go back to school, or even run a marathon. It doesn’t have to be a lofty goal, just one that will get your head back in the game and progressing toward the future.
#13 Find that rebound guy, no need to get serious! Yes, the rebound guy is real. Find someone who makes you laugh and forget your past, if even for a while. Rebound guys are awesome because they remind you that love will come again. [Read: 13 rebound sex questions to know if you’re ready to hook up for fun]
#14 Road trip. Take a road trip to see your friends or to some awesome getaway. Sometimes all you need is to get out of your element when you miss him.
#15 Stop taking other people’s advice and do what is in your heart. Not everyone is going to get it or give you the advice that is helpful. You can’t let other people decide what you need to do moving forward because only you know. You were the only one in the relationship, so stop asking for reassurance from everyone around you, and do what is in your heart.
#16 Read as much as you can. The internet is full of crap. There is no doubting that. But, it is also full of people who are going through the same thing that you are. If you keep reading things that people have to talk about and how they feel, you are bound to find someone or something to connect with.
There are times when just knowing you are not alone in the way you feel is enough to help you get past the hurt and onto better times. [Read: Self-discovery after a breakup – How to move on]
#17 Find a partner in crime. Having someone to lean on is an excellent thing to do when you miss him. The hardest part about losing a significant person in your life is that there feels like what’s left is a hole. A partner in crime will help you to do crazy things, have a good time and can help to fill the space that may feel empty.
#18 Erase him from social media. Stop stalking him or trying to figure out if he misses you. If you want to get past him, then you have to stop torturing yourself.
If it is meant to be and you are meant to get back together, then let it happen as it is supposed to. Continually checking his status or his pictures to see who he is with will only end up hurting you and keep you stuck.
#19 Erase his number and consider changing yours. To make sure that you don’t give into temptation or allow him to come back into your life when you have finally moved on, you may want to consider blocking or erasing his contact.
If you really want to make the commitment to be done and move on, then try changing your contact info. It is a big change, but one that may be necessary. [Read: What you should do after a breakup to feel awesome]
#20 Stop talking to mutual friends. The worst part about a breakup sometimes is figuring out who gets to keep the friends you have. If you want to stop missing him, then you have to either let go of your common friends or stop talking about him. It makes everyone uncomfortable and isn’t helping you; it is keeping you tied to him going forward.
Losing someone in your life is a really hard thing to deal with, especially if it was your partner. There is no magic bullet to grieve and get over a relationship. Trust me, if there was, I would have taken that bullet by now. [Read: The most common post breakup mistakes you should never do]
The key is not to keep yourself stuck by holding onto memories or the past when you miss him. Sure, he may not be with you anymore, but take from the relationship the goods things, leave the bad behind, and make it the starting point to find fulfillment in life.

But when you miss him, always remember that a new beginning can come in the form of finding another love… or simply finding out that you don’t need anyone in your life to be fulfilled, except you.
