My favorite ships from kdramas - appreciation post (part 2)
I have no idea if you've been waiting for that but I described the last list as part one, so I guess I should make another one. So today is The day. BTS plays in the background, list is ready, I have exam in two days but who cares, let's go!
1. What’s wrong with secretary Kim? - Kim Mi So & Lee Young-Joon
Tumblr media
Let’s be honest. We have Park Min-Young and Park Seo-Joon. It had to work. They had to had crazy-like chemistry, it was meant to be. Whenever there was a kiss I’ve been worried my computer will set himself on fire bc all this hotness. Iconic comedy, iconic character of Park Seo-Joon, iconic romance. Also can we all agree that Park Min-Young have like the best luck when it comes to screen partners? Shit, girl. You must have saved thousands of people’s lives in your past life.
2. While you were sleeping - Nam Hoong-Joo & Jung Jae-Chan
Tumblr media
Second Male Lead Syndrome hit hard with this one. But still not hard enough to stop me from gushing over the Nam Hoong-Joo and Jung Jae-Chan cuteness. I mean, c’mon. Suzy is motherfucker queen and Lee Jong-Suk is so pretty it makes my eyes hurt. Plus I adore that they were just so idk normal? Not perfect like most of the kdrama’s couples. She has growing hair leg, and he can be gross sometimes. SO WHAT?! Welcome to the real world. They loved each other anyway.
3. Innocent man/Nice Guy - Seo Eun-Gi & Kang Ma-Roo
Tumblr media
Man, between all this fluffy couples this one is kinda dark. But that's exactly what I loved about them. She was a bitch, especially at the beginning. He was a the dickest dick in the whole Dickland, Mayor of Dickville. Two sinners, bad, broken and selfish. Raw. Different. Flawed. They were hurting, they've been hurt. The ending of the drama was meh for me but this couple stands strong. And you know that Song Joong-Ki is the only one for me. He just makes me so happy whenever he's on the screen.
4. Touch your heart - Oh Jin-Shim & Kwon Jung-Rok
Tumblr media
They proved love exists in Goblin and now they did it again. Firstly: Oh Jin-Shim is one of my favorite female characters ever. She's just so cheerful and inspirational. I watched this drama when my life was kinda shit, but after watching her journey back to the top I felt great, like I could do anything. Secondly: Kwon Jung-Rok is the cutest idiot ever. He's so charming with this awkwardness of his. And together they create this cute, healthy kind of relationship I stan so much. LOVE THEM.
5. Her private life - Sung Deok-Mi & Ryan Gold
Tumblr media
So like I said before I'm pretty sure that Park Min-Young could create great chemistry even with a plain chair. But holy shit, in Her Private life we're getting whole Mendeleev's table. The story is pretty simple, there's no incredible groundbreaking plot, but Kim Jae-Wook is so hot and works so amazing with Park Min-Young that I didn't even care for the plot. I just wanted to look at him as long as I could. Also, Ryan Gold is perfect boyfriend. I want him for next Christmas.
6. Angel's last mission: love - Lee Yeon-Seo & Dan
Tumblr media
Omg, I shed so many tears on this one. Being completely honest I wasn’t huge fan of Lee Yeon-Seo at the beginning, she was really annoying for me. But Dan, my baby L, was such a cutie I decided to watch it despite of female character and boy, I am so happy I did that. It was truly touching, sad but beautiful story. And mains are just two puppies, so in love with each other, that you have this sudden desire to leave kdrama’s world, go outside, meet someone and being as cute as Yeon-Seo and Dan. Fortunately, this desire passes very quickly. I have another episode to watch, you know?
7. Cheer up! Sassy go go - Kang Yeon-Doo & Kim Yeol
Tumblr media
I know most of you have a very strong Second Man Lead Syndrome when it comes to Sassy Go Go. And let me just tell you: I would die for Seo Ha-Joon. Ji Soo is one of my favs and he did such a breathtaking job in this drama. When I started watching it, I've actually been thinking I would be suffering, bc after watching few videos on YouTube I knew that SMLS is strong with this one. I wanted to ship him with Kang Yeon-Doo. And partly I do, I am. BUT DAMN. KIM YEOL. Like I said, I was prepared for loving Seo Ha-Joon. I was rooting for him even before watching. But then that one scene happened and that was it. I was done. You know which one I'm talking about. "One, you move away first. Two, I move away first. Three, since we're in this position anyway, we do it". It made my heart beat faster and since that moment I was sold.
Btw that plot line with parents was totally unnecessary. Why, writers? Why?
8. Because this is my first life - Joon Ji-Ho & Nam Se-Hee
Tumblr media
This drama is so important for me, you have no idea. I just felt it to the core of my being. And no, I didn't married my hot landlord although i'm not opposed that idea but it's just freaking incredible story about growing up, learning how to do this whole adult-shit, being your own person, being someone's person and finally about finding yourself. GOD, IT WAS SO GOOD. And main couple! UGH. My babies! I know I named Kwon Jung-Rok from Touch Your Heart the cutest idiot ever but in that moment I guess I had to forget about Nam Se-Hee, bc he wins that category. But he was also understanding and respectful and patient and just...kind. Just simply kind but somehow that is everything. Plus I love Kitty. It's the prettiest cat ever.
9. Extraordinary you - Eun Dan-Oh & Haru
Tumblr media
The latest drama I watched and holy guacamole, I loved it so much. And even though I love Baek Kyung with my whole heart I don't even know why because he's an asshole, I just have to admit that Haru and Eun Dan Oh are freaking perfect for each other. THE WAY HE RESPECTED HER. Damn, that's some valuable shit right here. Watch and learn, boys. WATCH. AND. LEARN.
10. Encounter/boyfriend - Cha Soo-Hyun & Kim Jin-Hyuk
Tumblr media
The last but not least. Actually, it’s my fav couple on this list. Noone is able to dethrone Kang Mo-yeon & Yoo Shi-jin from DOTS from being my fav ultimate, but damn I must say Soo-Hyun and Jin-Hyuk were really close to do that. I fell in love with them since the first scene and now, long after watching it, I still think about them everyday. I’m not even joking. Where you can find a man who’ll take cute photos of you and dance salsa with you on Cuba? With whom You could talk about poetry and art? And who will be as cute as Park Bo-Gum? Any ideas? I’m not asking for friend, I’m asking for myself.

7 times kdramas made us believe in true love
We all agree that kdramas have taught us many life lessons aside from entertaining us. One of the reasons we keep watching kdramas is the ‘true love’ bond or experience that are portrayed in most of them. And we have to admit it!! We absolutely love seeing the lead couple being lovey dovey and we also cry when they do.
No matter the genre, almost every Korean drama treats the ‘love’ topic really well and so well that we even want something like that in our lives!
There have definitely been moments in the kdrama world that have broken out hearts and moments that made us recover faith in humanity; this is precisely what makes us keep tuned and continue watching many of them. But these, just to prove that love may probably be the most powerful force in the universe.
So, here we go!
Warning: SPOILER AHEAD!
Tumblr media
7. - City hunter- Kim Na Na being shot to protect Lee Young Sung
City Hunter is an old classic starring Park Min Young and Lee Min Ho who also actually started dating in real life after working together. They shared an amazing chemistry and we could tell they were truly in love.
Tumblr media
One of the most iconic scenes in this drama is when Kim Na Na (Park Min Young) literally took a bullet in order to save Lee Young Sung (Lee Min Ho) and then just said “You saved me twice”. This scene broke our hearts and made us burst into tears. Furthermore, I think we can all admit this was an act of true love.
6.-100 days my prince- Meeting after more than a decade and falling in love again.
I know, I know!! Almost EVERY couple in dramaland has had an encounter/experience/meeting as kids; and traumatic or not that’s what makes them reunite again as adults. Even when this situation has become a kdrama cliché throughout the years, I still think it is a good way to denote the strength of the love bonds that can be developed between two people. I strongly believe writers ought to create different scenarios to treat this topic though.
Tumblr media
100 days my prince tells a story of a young love; two kids, a prince and a noble girl, who share beautiful but also sorrowful experiences that somehow will make them separate. Prince Yool still thinks of his first love after their unfortunate separation and loses his memory through some circumstances many years after, but this isn’t a barrier. They meet again and fall in love, OVER AGAIN, without knowing they knew and cared for each other since kids. Can you guys tell me if this is other than destiny?
I think a most of us has dreamed of something like this at some point of our lives. Furthermore, the fact that two people are able to find each other, and fall in love again, no matter what, means they must have been under the power of two forces: destiny and true love.
5.-My love from the star- The whole plot tbh
It’s 2019 and ‘My love from the star’ was aired 6 years ago, so it’s officially an old classic. However, I feel like I really don’t have to explain this one cause during the whole series is more than evident how the leads deeply love each other. That’s probably because Jun Ji Hyun and Kim Soo Hyun had such a great chemistry.
Tumblr media
Idk guys but I can’t help but get soft when I hear this title, because it really moved my heart in a way that’s more than difficult not to love the couple or everything it possess.
Do Min Joon (Kim Soo Hyun) could literally hear Song Yi (Jun Ji Hyun) calling his name no matter where he was, he rescued her several times and he was willing to do everything he could for her to be okay. Song Yi was more than in love, she cried rivers and rivers till they could finally be together.
Somehow I consider this drama had a ‘meant to be’ couple, since they ended up meeting through random situations, and more than randomly, because of destiny itself. This kind of situation gives us the ‘true love’ vibe we hardly get in real life. Moving our hearts that’s way is what irradiates the feeling that the reason why the main couple (sometime secondary couples as well) gets together is love.
4.-I’m not a robot- Love heals the wounds of the heart
Okay, first things first, I’m not a robot has the cutest couple in history as far as I’m concerned. There are also two main points of this kdrama I want to explain from my point of view. So, from what we can see throughout the series is Kim Min Gyu (Yoo Seung Ho) has a severe allergy to other human beings and he gets better due to Aji 3’s (Chae Soo Bin) presence in his life. For some people these may look like Min Gyu has a skin disease and Ji Ah is the ‘medicine’ he needs to cure it.
Nevertheless, I personally think that Kim Min Gyu has a psychological trauma caused by other people in his surroundings when he was a kid, that’s why he’s able to touch Jo Ji Ah when she pretends to be a robot without getting ill. What I’m trying to say is that problem was more a psychological thing rather than an illness.
Tumblr media
No matter what the illness or condition is, what is remarkable from this drama is that directors and writers give us an important theme which is that regardless of how lonely and hurt you are, love can really heal the wounds of your heart.
Even though at the beginning the story is kinda sad because of the fact that Min Gyu thinks he is in love with a robot and also because of other heartbreaking moments, as the lead couple actually becomes a couple and they solve all their problems, we are able to see many tender and adorable moments that as a matter of fact, make our hearts flutter.
3. - Hwayugi: A Korean Odyssey- ‘Wait for me and I will find you’ promise
Hwayugi is a fantasy drama aired in 2017 until the first half of 2018 and it stars Lee Seung Gi and Oh Yeon Seo. Hwayugi, Hwayugi…This drama has several ups and downs but I guess it is good enough to be in this top. Aside from having such a bad finale, (which the writers tried to fix at the very end) Hwayugi sadly has also bad special effects, which is baffling considering they had a good budget.
Despite all these aspects I just mentioned, Hwayugi still has ‘good things’ to offer. Even though several characters die/disappear what comes behind all these situations is a well-portrayed friendship bond. At the beginning the relationship between the leads starts as a one sided love and then as a mutual love. Even though Son Oh Gong seems to love ‘Samjang’ because he’s under a spell, if we look further we can really tell he loves her for real. At the end of the series, he even gives her one of his eyeballs so he can find her in the underworld.
Tumblr media
2. - Stairway to heaven - The whole series even when it hurts
Stairway to heaven is a classic melodrama and if you ask me, it’s probably the most popular kdrama worldwide. This was the very first Korean drama aired on Latin American TV and it got so popular that you can literally ask anyone and they will say they have seen it at least once.
And just because love doesn’t mean happiness, I consider important talking about this drama. First of all, Stairway to heaven has a killer cast and the story is beyond sad. Words could never tell how sorrowful it actually is.
Tumblr media
I think the most painful thing in this drama is that the main couple is (almost) never able to be together no matter how much they love each other and how much they try. Song Joo even looks for Jung Suh after believing her dead and does everything he can till they can reunite again. This lasts a short period of time to discover Jung Suh has cancer and is gonna die. I mean, they literally have to face every barrier in the universe to be together and even at the end what gives them the strength to keep living is the love they have for each other, considering everything else in their lives is unfortunate.
The saddest thing is that the people around them would also suffer as well, especially Jung Suh’s step brother that somehow falls in love with her and even commits suicide to save her. But we are gonna talk about this last statement below.
1. - Stairway to heaven. - AGAIN
It has been more than ten years since I watched Stairway to heaven for the first time, and I still can’t get over what Tae Hwa did to let Jung Suh see the man she loves again. There isn’t anything else I have seen in any other drama that is to me more an act of true love than this one. (Even when it is such a sad and dramatic event.)
No matter how much I think about it, this is beyond miserable, considering Jung Suh never accepts Tae Hwa’s feelings because they are siblings but he still does all these for her. At the end this sacrifice is in vain because Jung Suh dies anyway. Such a sad story to be honest.

Kdrama Recommendations❤️
Here are some of my recommendations. The list is in no particular order. Let me know if you want more recommendations!
Tumblr media
Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo
Synopsis
A coming-of-age story about a group of college athletes who are fighting for their dreams, experiencing and finding love in the process, and growing every step of the way.
My Thoughts:
Weightlifting Fairy is truly a gem. The overall lighthearted tone of this drama makes it easy to follow and fun to watch. I find that a lot of dramas are often too dramatic and have unnecessary plot twists that just makes the story a lot to handle so it was nice having a story that feels refreshing. The plot is nothing crazy; it’s a bunch of college kids trying to figure life out. It’s simple and relatable but that’s what make it so charming. The titular character, Kim Bok Joo, is an icon. It was really interesting to watch her grow as a person and athlete. This drama is definitely one of my favourites of all time. I would gladly rewatch it a thousand times and even a little more after that. If you’re going to watch only one thing from my list, it HAS to be this.
P.S Don’t watch this on an empty stomach. The eating scenes are mouthwatering
Tumblr media
Angel’s Last Mission: Love
Synopsis
Dan is an optimistic, carefree angel who is always getting into trouble. In order to return to heaven he is tasked with a mission to find true love for the talented but emotionally distant ballerina Lee Yeon-seo, but ends up falling for her himself.
My Thoughts:
Saying that I love this drama would be an understatement. I have not loved a show this much since Weightlifting Fairy, and that’s saying something. It’s the perfect combination of funny and dramatic. There is no denying the chemistry between Dan and Yeon-Seo. Shin Hye-Sun really outdid herself in this one. I laughed when she laughed and cried when she cried. The way she portrays her emotions is outstanding and I’ll definitely be checking out more of her work. There’s typically one or two episodes in every drama that I don’t really care about or is forgettable but I didn’t feel that way in this one. Every episode had me on the edge of my seat and every time it ended, I kept wanting more. I highly recommend this drama. Also, I never say this but I LOVE the soundtrack. It’s all I’ve been playing recently and there isn’t a single song on the track that I don’t like.
Tumblr media
W: Two Worlds
Synopsis
A romance takes place between Kang Chul, a multimillionaire who exists in the webtoon “W,” and Oh Yeon-Joo who is a surgeon in the real world. The two must work together to solve a mystery.
My Thoughts:
It’s been a hot minute since I’ve seen this but I remember really liking it. The whole concept of a fictional character coming to life is really interesting and it gave the story some pretty good plot points. I’m not gonna lie, towards the end, it felt like it was beginning to drag on a little but with that said I would say that I enjoyed the overall experience. It felt refreshing because it was a premise that I haven’t seen in any other drama so it was fun to watch it unfold. The two leads had good chemistry and there were moments where my jaw actually dropped from shock. This is a good watch if you like modern fantasy type genres.
Tumblr media
While You Were Sleeping
Synopsis
Nam Hong-joo is able to see the future through her dreams. She, rookie prosecutor Jung Jae-chan, and police officer Han Woo-tak work together to solve multiple crimes and prevent her ominous dreams from becoming reality.
My Thoughts:
Oh wow another Lee Jong-Suk drama. I really love this actor and honestly I would recommend anything he is in. As for this drama, I love that every character adds a new dimension to the storyline and when I say every character, I mean EVERY character. Supporting roles are typically forgotten about and don’t get much development in many dramas but here, they’re just as loveable and quirky as leading trio. From work life to home life, everyone adds something that just makes the story a lot richer. You feel more connected to these characters thus raising the stakes when something bad could (and does) happen to them. There was a certain character reveal towards the end that blew my mind and I’m still not over it. Overall, it’s a good watch and you should put it on your drama bucket list.
Tumblr media
Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo
Synopsis
During an eclipse, Go Ha-jin travels back in time to the Goryeo era. She wakes up in the body of Hae-Soo, a 16 year old aristocrat who lives in the royal palace. She finds herself caught in between the rivalry among the princes over the throne.
My Thoughts:
I remember first hearing about this drama because my friends were talking about how sad it was and boy were they right. I cried so hard so many different times throughout the drama. While it does get sad, it makes the happy moments feel even better  because they’re so rare. Hae-Soo’s relationship with each of the different princes felt unique and it was interesting to see how she impacted them in different ways. I enjoyed it but WARNING! If you don’t like sad endings then this drama might not be for you. I’m still hoping for a season 2 though.
Tumblr media
Itazura na Kiss
Synopsis
Aihara Kotoko, who isn’t that smart, is in love with the school’s most intelligent student, Irie Naoki. An incident causes her house to be severely damaged and until it is rebuilt, she and her father are are invited to live with his friend and his family. It turns out that she will be living with Irie Naoki’s family.
My Thoughts:
This is technically not a Kdrama but I prefer the Japanese version over the Korean one. I remember having so much fun watching this show and it got some good laughs out of me. What I love about this drama is that you get to see the development of the couple’s relationship over a long period of time. I’ve noticed that a lot of dramas just end after the couple gets together and they never show the aftermath. With Itazura, you get to watch their relationship grow throughout high school, college, and adulthood. You see them deal with and work their way through issues that some couples have to face in real life, such as unrequited love, jealousy and having to go long distance. Another great thing about this drama is that it has a second season which wraps up everyone’s story really nicely. There aren’t really any loose ends and it leaves me feeling satisfied as a viewer. I would highly recommend if you like romantic comedies.

KDRAMA RECS
(In no particular order)
Have watched multiple times with no shame:
Tumblr media
A Korean Odessey (Also known as, Hwayugi)
So Mi (played by Oh Yeon Seo) has the ability to see ghosts which causes her to get wrapped up with Devil King Woo (played by Cha Seung Won) and mischievous god, Son Oh Gong (played by Lee Seung Gi). As a child So Mi is tricked by Son Oh Gong into making a deal which would only benefit him. 25 years later, So Mi is the only one who can stop the apocalypse, but she can’t do it alone.
Basically one of the best drama’s I have ever watched. A really interesting plot based on the Chinese novel Journey to the West. Really interesting and complex characters as well as decent special effects. While being a romance, this drama follows the stories of the other major players involved, making you fall in love with all of them. This story is a modern spin, so it takes place in modern times while also bringing history and legends into the mix, really entertaining, especially if you’re not a fan of historical drama’s like me.
Genre: Romance, Fantasy, Comedy, Horror
Where I Watched: Netflix
Tumblr media
Strong Woman Do Bong Soon
Bong Soon (played by Park Bo Young) is born with super human strength, which can only be used for good. An Min Hyuk (played by Park Hyung Sik) is the CEO of a gaming company with a target on his back. Min Hyuk finds out about Bong Soon’s strength and hires her to be his body guard, despite her finding her strength a burden. Together they are able to keep Min Hyuk safe as well as Bong Soon’s community which is being terrorised by a murderer/kidnapper.
Fair warning: because of the mature themes of kidnapping and murder thrown in throughout by the main antagonist, this Drama may be triggering to some people. However if you skip past those parts, this drama is really cute. The thing that made me fall in love with the two main characters was not their romance but the friendship that came before it. A lot of people will tell you this drama is the poster child for second lead syndrome but I really liked it regardless.
Genre: Fantasy, Thriller, Action, Romantic comedy
Where I Watched: Netflix
Tumblr media
My ID is Gangnam Beauty (Or just Gangnam Beauty)
Based of the webtoon of the same name, Gangnam Beauty centres around chemistry major, Kang Mi Rae (played by Im Soo- Hyang) who underwent plastic surgery, tired of being bullied for her looks. Fellow classmate Hyun Soo A (played by Jo Woo Ri) continuously fights Mi Rae for a position she already has. Only Do Kyung Seok (played by Astro’s Cha Eun Woo) see’s Soo A for who she really is.
This one is also one of my favourites that I always find myself coming back to. Mi Rae starts off pretty insecure but as the drama progresses she starts seeing people for more that her looks as well as grows to stop being ashamed about the fact that she got surgery. And Eun Woo’s acting phenomenal because he doesn’t even resemble Eun Woo with how smiley he is in real life compared to his tsundere character.
Genre: Coming of Age, Romantic Comedy
Where I Watched: Viki.com
Tumblr media
School 2015 (Also known as Who Are You?: School 2015)
Another potential trigger warning: the main character gets bullied so bad she attempts suicide which is the thing that really throws the whole story into gear.
Go Eun Byeol and Lee Eun Bi (played by Kim So Hyun) are identical twin sisters separated at birth, while Eun Byeol is cold in nature she is popular and well liked by her peers. Eun Bi however, is like a mother figure to the other kids living at the orphanage, and often stands up for others, she is bullied at school to the point of attempting suicide, which coincides with her sisters disappearance. Eun Bi, with no memory is mistaken for Eun Byeol and is taken to live life as her sister.
This drama was crazy and kept driving me crazy, first of all the antagonist is only a high school student and yet one of the most sinister characters ever written. And while most people think Strong Woman has second lead syndrome, School 2015 almost killed me with second lead syndrome and I’m still not over it. But I still love this drama and I think it’s worth the watch.
Genre: Teen, Mystery, Coming of Age
Where I watched: Youtube
Tumblr media
W: Two Worlds
Surgical resident, Oh Yeon Joo (played by Han Hyo Joo) is sucked into the webtoon; W, written by her father. This complicates the storyline of the webtoon’s main character Kyung Chul (played by Lee Jong Suk) as the two get involved.
Wow. Another one of my favourites and the drama to kick start my love affair with Lee Jong Suk. The series as a whole is so original and interesting but every episode leaves you wanting more, Lee Jong Suk’s charcter is so insanely complex my heart really felt for him. And Han Hyo Joo’s acting is marvellous, you coulod truly see the pain her character felt at certain times Fun fact: this drama about a webtoon is based on the webtoon of the same name. (Inception?)
Genre: Fantasy, Romance, Suspense, Thriller
Where I watched: viki.com
Tumblr media
While You Were Sleeping
Nam Hong Joo (played by Bae Suzy) has the ability to see visions, usually bad, in her sleep. She teams up with prosecutor Jung Jae Chan (Played be Lee Jong Suk), and later police officer Han Woo Tak (played by Jung Hae In), to help the people plagued in her dreams.
The first episode had me in all types of confusion but looking back on it, it was actually done really well, introducing characters and the overall plot. What I really likes about this drama was that it had me on the edge of my seat nearly the whole time, and every episode amounted to something bigger. Unfortunately this series does come with a decent about onf second lead syndrome, but not like School: 2015 or Cheese in the Trap where you’re kind of mad at the main character for choosing the wrong person but like Strong Woman Do Bong Soon and Sassy Go Go, you fall in love with both leads and you just want the second lead to also have a happy ending.
Genre: Romance, Fantasy, Thriller, Legal Drama
Where I watched: Viki.com
Tumblr media
Descendants of the Sun
Brought together by unfortunate circumstance, Korean special forces Captian Yoo Shi Jin (played by Song Jong Ki), and Surgeon Kang Mi Yeon (played by Song Hye Kyo) have to work together to protect the people they love. Set in the fictional country of Uruk, Yoo’s Alpha team and Kang’s medical team learn a lot about themselves and what life is like on another side of the world.
I’m not going to lie, I put this off for so long because I thought I wasn’t going to like it but I actually ended up loving it. This is in most part due to Song Jong Ki’s charter, when I heard he was in the military I was like ugh it’s going to be one of those tough guy gets softened up by the girl drama’s but on a much larger scale, but boy was I wrong. Yoo Shi Jin is a responsible and hardworking Captain that cares about the people around him, almost to a fault, but he’s hilarious and light hearted at the same time. And at some point the bromance got me more than the main romance. There is a reason this drama is so popular and often referred to as iconic. Go watch it! Another fun fact: Song Jong Ki and Song Hye Kyo got married in October of 2017.
Genre: Romance, Melodrama, Action
Where I Watched: Viki.com
Tumblr media
Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Jo
A coming-of-age story about a group of college athletes who are fighting for their dreams, experiencing and finding love in the process.
Sorry I couldn’t come up with a good summary, the overall story is a bit hard to explain. I liked this drama although I didn’t love it. It’s cute and funny and it also deals with important topics like mental health on top of physical health. The one this that rubbed me the wrong way with this drama is the ‘thing’ between Bok Jo and the second male lead, simply because their age gap was far too large to ignore. But skipping through damn near all of his scenes, I enjoyed it.
Genre: Coming of Age, Sports, Romantic Comedy
Where I watched: Viki.com
Honourable Mentions:
Reply 1997
Coming of Age story that deals with a lot of important topics like friendship, sex, relationships, family and honestly just growing up.
Cute but another one where the second lead rubbed me the wrong way. Maybe it’s because he played the evil guy in Hwayugi and I can’t see him as anything else but his whole thing was weird. I don’t want to spoil it but I genuinely cannot believe people thought his character was sane not to mention a good match for the main.
He is Psychometric
Lee Ahn has the ability to see the past of whatever he touches, he uses his ability to help a police officer and prosecutor solve the mystery of the fire that killed his parents
I honestly only watched this for Jinyoung okay, and while I was impressed with the acting by all the actors, the story would slow down right before it hit you in the face, so overall kind of all over the place.
EUN JI SOO DESERVED BETTER
The Heirs
Typical poor girl falls for a rich guy drama (kind of a classic)
One of my first Drama’s, you could really feel the chemistry between the two main leads, and the character of Kim Tan was so passionate it was captivating
Doctors
Medical drama based on a former delinquent who ends up being a surgeon and her mentor
Another drama with a weird age gap
Park Shin Hye is a badass.

W: Worlds Apart - Volume 3: Worlds Aligned
Kang Chul X Oh Yeon Joo - Fix-It Fic (T)
Read from beginning or find previous chapters here: Stories
Kang Chul is on task from the first moment in his creators’ world. Which is just as well, because Oh Yeon Joo is having world-lag again. Luckily, Soo Bong is there to play a plucky assistant.
Chapter 86 - Soo Bong Meets His Icon  (735 words)
Yeon Joo went back into the house, feeling a little feverish in a way that boded poorly for this particular transition between worlds, and found Soo Bong encountering Kang Chul face-to-face for the first time.
The stupefied look on Soo Bong's face was priceless.
"You are?" Chul asked.
"Park Soo-Bong," Soo-Bong responded loudly, as if answering to a senior officer or upperclassman.
"You are the assistant, yes?"
"Yes, sir."
"Can you show me the tablet you've been using?"
"Yes, sir!"
"I'm...going to sit down," Yeon Joo said, amusement at this interaction not enough to keep her from fading.
Chul looked over swiftly, then walked closer.
"Are you alright?"
She touched her forehead.
"I sometimes get sick from time-skips happening between...dimensions. I just need to wait it out."
He reached out and put the back of his hand to her forehead, too.
"You are hot. Do you need to go to the hospital?"
"No. Just get me some water in a few minutes. It sounded like you needed to work on something."
He only turned back to Soo Bong once she laid down on the couch. Then they went into the workshop and she closed her eyes.
Park Soo Bong was having an incredible day. In the sense of incredible that meant unbelievable, mostly, though it had acquired a dimension that was pretty great in the last few moments.
"Does she often have that issue, of being ill after passing from one place to the other?" Chul asked in an undertone, once they were in the office.
"What?" Soo Bong asked, like an idiot.
"Yeon Joo."
"Oh! Yes? I mean, it definitely has happened. Yes. I don't know if it happens every time."
Kang Chul had not seemed to need Soo Bong's help finding the tablet, and now got down to dismantling it so efficiently it took Soo Bong a moment to be startled.
Kang Chul noticed this before he could think of what to say, and replied, "It can go back together when we need it, but it's a gateway, and I don't want anyone coming through."
Soo Bong shivered.
"Tell me a little bit about what's happened here. I read the manhwa, but I don't know anything else before the point Yeon Joo meets me. It's my first time seeing you."
"We...sort of met," said Soo Bong.
"I'm sorry I don't remember." He had finished dismantling the tablet already.
"It's nice to meet you, officially," said Soo Bong, and tentatively held out his hand.
Kang Chul grinned and shook hands with him.
The warmth of his palm was somewhat shocking, when Soo Bong was still not over the fact that a character he'd often colored or inked was standing in front of him. He tucked the hand in under his arm to not betray how moved he was.
The expectant look in Kang Chul's eyes reminded him that he'd asked a question.
"Oh! Yes." He explained what he could of the botched plan to give the villain a face, the way Yeon Joo had reported back Kang Chul, Version One's idea of resetting, how Master Oh's face had just disappeared as if scraped off, that Yeon Joo had just disappeared while they were trying to get him restrained, and he had waited and waited until the scrabbling noises of Master Oh's body had thoroughly shattered his nerve....
"You've been through a lot," said Kang Chul. "And I really appreciate everything you've done for me. Can I ask you for one more favor?"
"Yes, of course. Of course!"
"I need you to take Yeon Joo home to rest in her own bed, then go home and do the same yourself."
"But Master Oh...he's just...like that?"
"I can watch over him. If you leave me with a phone and your number I can contact you if anything happens."
"Okay, okay," said Soo Bong. He'd been about to protest, as Chul had noticed, but thinking about being able to sleep, even in his not-particularly-great bed in his efficiency flat, was too beautiful an idea. "Yes. I will go get her now."
He walked away, somewhat dazed, and looked down at the hand he'd untucked.
"I'm never going to wash my hand again," he said softly.
He had never met a celebrity before, and it seemed even crazier to meet a celebrity he'd helped form. Well, at least helped publish. Helped finish in panels already formed.
Kang Chul!

KDramas I Wanna Watch
Dramas recommended to me by friends and/or internet posts.
(Summaries aren’t mine)
1. She Was Pretty
Can you over-romanticize a cherished memory from childhood? Ji Sung Joon (Park Seo Joon) was a shy, porky kid who was constantly teased by the other kids for his rotund shape. When he transfers to a new school in fifth grade and meets Kim Hye Jin (Hwang Jung Eum), the prettiest, most popular girl in school, his life turns around. The kind-hearted Hye Jin becomes his only friend and protector — and they become each other’s first love. But then everything changes when Sung Joon’s family immigrates to the United States and then Hye Jin’s father’s business goes downhill, plunging her family from their previous wealthy lifestyle. But that’s not all! Hye Jin’s beautiful looks initially took after her mother. But as soon as Hye Jin hits puberty, her father’s genetic skin condition takes hold and leaves her with reddish facial scars that makes her resemble a raccoon. Fifteen years later, Sung Joon is a whole new person — dashing and handsome and a successful art director — who is transferred from New York to the Seoul office of “The Most” fashion magazine to work as the deputy chief editor. He tries to find his childhood friend, Hye Jin, again. But embarrassed by her current unglamorous appearance, Hye Jin passes off her best friend, the stunning Min Ha Ri (Go Jun Hee), as herself. But when Hye Jin is suddenly transferred to the magazine department at her new job to work as in intern under Sung Joon, how much longer can she keep her true identity a secret?
2. Descendants of the Sun
Some relationships are fated, despite the challenges of time and place.
Yoo Shi Jin (Song Joong Ki), the leader of a Special Forces unit, meets trauma surgeon Kang Mo Yeon (Song Hye Kyo) in a hospital emergency room after Shi Jin and his second-in-command, Seo Dae Young (Jin Goo), chase down a thief on their day off.
Shi Jin is immediately smitten with Mo Yeon, and he asks her out on a date. But Shi Jin keeps getting called to duty when he is with Mo Yeon, and the two also realize that they have conflicting views about human life (he will kill to protect his country and she has to save lives at all costs). They decide to break off their budding relationship as a result.
Dae Young also tries to break off his relationship with Army doctor Yoon Myeong Ju (Kim Ji Won) because her father, Lt. General Yoon (Kang Shin Il), thinks Shi Jin is a better match for his daughter.
Shi Jin and Dae Young are then deployed to the fictional war-torn country of Urk on a long-term assignment of helping the United Nations keep peace in the area. After repeatedly being passed over for a promotion because of her lack of connections, Mo Yeon gives up performing surgeries, loosening her principles somewhat to become a celebrity TV doctor and caring for VIP patients at the hospital. But when she refuses the sexual advances of the hospital chairman, Mo Yeon is picked to lead a medical team to staff a clinic in Urk! There, Mo Yeon unexpectedly reconnects with Shi Jin.
3. Strong Woman Do Bong Soon
Do Bong Soon (Park Bo Young) comes from a long line of women possessing Herculean strength. But Bong Soon can only use her strength for good; if she uses it for her own personal gain or to mistreat others, she can lose her strength forever like her mother, Hwang Jin Yi (Shim Hye Jin). Bong Soon’s twin brother, Do Bong Ki (An Woo Yeon) did not inherit the unusual family strength and is a doctor, but Bong Soon has trouble finding gainful employment as an aspiring game developer.
When Ahn Min Hyuk (Park Hyung Sik), the young CEO of AIN Software, a gaming company, witnesses Bong Soon’s amazing strength against a group of gangsters one day, he hires her to be his personal bodyguard to help him catch a man who has been making death threats against him. Bong Soon has a secret crush on her childhood friend, In Guk Doo (Ji Soo), a police detective who is trying to capture a dangerous kidnapper in Bong Soon’s neighborhood. Can Bong Soon help both men track down the culprits?
4. While You Were Sleeping
A young woman with bad premonition dreams meets two people who suddenly develop the same ability.
Nam Hong Joo (Suzy) lives with her mother, Yoon Moon Sun (Hwang Young Hee), a widow who runs a small restaurant. Jung Jae Chan (Lee Jong Suk), a rookie prosecutor, and his younger brother, Seung Won (Shin Jae Ha), move in across the street. Since she was young, Hong Joo has had the ability to see bad events before they happen, but she is often unable to do anything about it.
One day, Jae Chan has a strange premonition dream about an accident involving Hong Joo and Lee Yoo Beom (Lee Sang Yeob), a ruthless attorney who used to be Jae Chan’s tutor. Jae Chan decides to interfere in the course of events and ends up saving the lives of Hong Joo and Han Woo Tak (Jung Hae In), a young police officer. When Jae Chan, Hong Joo and Woo Tak then start having dreams about one another, they realize that their lives are now somehow entwined.
But can the three discover the reason that they were brought together, and can they prevent the people closest to them from getting hurt?
5. Just Between Lovers (Rain or Shine)
A building collapse ties the fates of three young people years later. Ten years ago, the S Mall collapsed due to shoddy construction, killing 48 people inside.
Ha Moon Soo (Won Jin Ah) was there with her younger sister, who perished in the accident. Lee Kang Doo (Junho) was there waiting for his father, who was an electrician doing work on the building. Seo Joo Won (Lee Ki Woo) was helping out his father, who was the head engineer of the building. Moon Soo, Kang Doo and Joo Won survived the horrible accident, but their loved ones did not.
Years later, Joo Won is an architect who is working on a new project to replace the former S Mall. With her keen eye for detail and sturdy building construction, Moon Soo ends up working for Joo Won on the project. Kang Doo works odd jobs to get by and ends up working at the new construction site.
How will they each deal with their respective pains as they are reminded of the event that changed all of their lives so profoundly?
6. Father Is Strange
This is one of those things that can disrupt a seemingly normal family. Byun Han Soo (Kim Young Chul) lives on the outskirts of Seoul with his selfless wife, Na Young Sil (Kim Hae Sook). Their bustling lives center around his small diner, “Daddy’s Snack Shop,” and their four adult children, Joon Young (Min Jin Woong), Hye Young (Lee Yoo Ri), Mi Young (Jung So Min) and Ra Young (Ryu Hwayoung).
Joon Young tries not to disappoint his parents as he has been unable to pass the civil service exam for five years. Hye Young is the most accomplished as a successful attorney who has an on-again, off-again relationship with Cha Jung Hwan (Ryu Soo Young), a television producer-director. After years of trying to land a job, Mi Young finally lands her dream job as an intern for Gabi Entertainment, only to discover that her high school bully, Kim Yoo Joo (Lee Mi Do), works there as a team leader. Ra Young works a yoga instructor and falls for Park Cheol Soo (Ahn Hyo Seop), who has absolutely no interest in returning her attention.
The close-knit Byun family is thrown into turmoil when Ahn Joong Hee (Lee Joon), an idol-turned-actor, shows up one day and claims that Han Soo is his father. Joong Hee is widely ridiculed by netizens as a robotic actor, but he is determined to earn respect by landing a role in a highly anticipated miniseries about a father-son relationship. But in order to conjure the emotions needed for the role, Joong Hee decides he needs to get to know the father he believes abandoned him and his mother 35 years ago.
Will Joong Hee’s appearance threaten to reveal a deeply buried secret and otherwise disrupt Han Soo’s happy family life?
7. Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo
What else could there be to life than barbells and heavy weights?
Kim Bok Joo (Lee Sung Kyung) is a weightlifting phenom who has only focused on barbells her entire life while growing up with her father, Kim Chang Gul (Ahn Gil Kang), is a former weightlifter. She attends Hanwool College of Physical Education, a university full of top-notch athletes who are driven to succeed in the hopes of representing their country in national and international competitions.
Bok Joo went to the same elementary school as Jung Joon Hyung (Nam Joo Hyuk) but reunites with him in college. He is now a competitive swimmer who is having trouble recovering from the trauma of being disqualified for a false start in his first international swim competition.
Song Shi Ho (Kyung Soo Jin) is a fiercely competitive rhythmic gymnast who won a silver medal at the Asian Games when she was 18, but the pressures of her sport drive her to break up with Joon Hyung. Bok Joo’s tunnel-vision life starts to change when she falls in love with Joon Hyung’s older cousin, Jung Jae Yi (Lee Jae Yoon), a former athlete who became an obesity doctor after suffering a career-ending injury.
Will Bok Joo learn that there is more to life than weightlifting?
8. Queen In Hyun’s Man
Every actress hopes that an opportunity will come along to play an iconic role that could bring her out of obscurity and make her a star.
For Choi Hee Jin (Yoo In Na), that opportunity is in a television drama playing the role of Queen In Hyun (Kim Hae In), who was deposed during the Joseon Dynasty as King Suk Jong’s (Seo Woo Jin) consort by the scheming actions of Lady Jang (Choi Woo Ri). But Hee Jin’s modern-day world collides with that of her character in ways she doesn’t fully understand.
Kim Boong Do (Ji Hyun Woo), a scholar from the Joseon era, is mysteriously transported 300 years into the future to modern-day Seoul and comes into Hee Jin’s life as she is preparing for her career-making role. Boong Do not only knew the real queen but also supported her reinstatement.
Was Boong Do brought to the future to help Hee Jin bring some authenticity to her role as the queen?
9. Madame Antoine
Can a very observant woman outwit a psychotherapist? Go Hye Rim (Han Ye Seul) operates the Madame Antoine cafe on the first floor of a building that also houses a famous psychotherapy clinic on the top floor. Hye Rim uses her keen intellect and heightened senses to also work as an adviser to psychotherapist Choi Soo Hyun (Sung Joon). But unknown to Hye Rim, Soo Hyun is running a top-secret experiment on her “ideal type of man” with the help of his younger half-brother, Choi Seung Chan (Jung Jin Woon), and clinic employee Won Ji Ho (Lee Joo Hyung). But unknown to Soo Hyun, Hye Rim also is being paid by a mysterious man to get a hold of Soo Hyun’s valuable experiment files. What is Soo Hyun’s true experiment, and will Hye Rim help him or hurt him in his research goals?
10. The Guardians (Lookout)

11. Circle (Circle: Two Worlds Connected)
A sci-fi mystery drama that takes place in both the year 2017 and the year 2037. In 2007, twin brothers, Kim Woo-jin and Kim Bum-gyun, witness an alien arrival that brings about a huge change in their lives. In 2017, Kim Woo-jin (Yeo Jin-goo), now a college student, notices that a series of suicides in his university is somehow linked to his brother, Kim Bum-gyun (An Woo-yeon). While in pursuit of the case, he meets Han Jung-yeon (Gong Seung-yeon), another college student who is investigating the serial suicides. In 2037, South Korea is now divided into General Earth, a heavily polluted place where crimes are rampant, and Smart Earth, a clean and peaceful city free from crimes. Kim Joon-hyuk (Kim Kang-woo) is a crime detective who tries to get into Smart Earth to investigate a case of twin brothers who went missing in 2017. Each episode contains two parts, the first part is set in 2017 called “Beta Project,” while the second part is set in 2037 called “Brave New World.”
12. The Heirs
The series follows a group of rich, privileged, and high school students as they are about to take over their families' business empires, overcoming difficulties and growing every step of the way.
Kim Tan (Lee Min-ho) is a wealthy heir to a large Korean conglomerate called Jeguk Group.[9] He was exiled to the U.S. by his brother Kim Won (Choi Jin-hyuk), who tries to take control of the family business.[10] While in the States, he meets Cha Eun-sang (Park Shin-hye), who went there to look for her sister.[11] Despite being engaged to Yoo Rachel (Kim Ji-won), a fellow heiress, Kim Tan soon falls in love with Eun-sang. When Kim Tan returns to Korea, his former best friend turned enemy Choi Young-do (Kim Woo-bin) begins picking on Eun-sang to irritate Tan. Tension ensues when Young-do also falls in love with Eun-sang, and Kim Tan is forced to choose between responsibility of pursuing the family business or love.

Jo Ji-ah (Chae Soo-bin) is a woman who is trying to make it in life by creating her own businesses. However, after an encounter with Min-kyu, she ends up pretending to be a robot in place of the supposed Aji 3 robot. The Aji 3 robot was developed by Ji-ah's ex-boyfriend, professor Hong Baek-kyun (Um Ki-joon) and his team. The robot was meant to be tested by genius Min-kyu, however an accident caused the robot's battery to malfunction. As Baek-kyun modeled the robot after Ji-ah, the team ends up recruiting her to take the place of Aji 3.

1-12, 14-19, 27-29, 32. 42 and 54 :D You don't have to answer them all hahaha
assiehfaefa ima answer them all! thank you so much angel!
1: favourite kdrama
let’s say that my current favourites are; the princess’ man, and jealousy incarnate!
2: least favourite kdrama
least favourite… hwarang, strong woman do bong soon, and drinking solo. i just dislike these. but if we’re talking one i like but wouldn’t have at the top of my list… then moon lovers.
3: first kdrama i watched:
it was boys over flowers!!! wow!!! the memories… the tears… so iconic… i couldn’t watch lee min ho in anything for a long time because go jyun pyo broke my heart!!!
4: last kdrama i watched:
i’m currently watching school 2017 (!!!!!!!!!!!! kim tae woon i loveth you) and also watching an oldie drama called the woman who still wants to marry. it’s based around female friendship and i’m at ep 11 and still going!
5: kdrama otp (s):
oh boy so here we go!!! in no particular order, here are some pairings i really do love/ cried over/ had lots of feelings over!!
kim shin and eun tak (i miss my sweet souls) from goblin
lee se ryung and kim seung yoo from the princess’ man
park do kyung and oh hae young from oh hae young again
pyo na ri and lee hwa shin from jealousy incarnate
do min joo and cheong song yi from my love from another star
i’m sure there are more but these are whay come to mind right now! :’)
6: kdrama notp (s)
dugfsfhdsi
wang so with tragedy and injustice!!!
7: preferred drama genre
honestly it first of all romance, but these days i love a good melodrama! romantic comedies are good too if they’re done well! i do also love a good fantasy… or saeguk, but again it depends on what kind of saeguk… drama’s about friendships… family… they can be really interesting. i’ll be honest and say my least favourite genre are workplace dramas.
8: first drama i considered my favourite:
ooh… that’s hard… let me think… i think it was reply 1988- until it crushed my pathetic heart into a million pieces.
9: favourite korean actors
ooh… gong yoo (not just because he’s a fantastic actor but he’s also such a lovely awesome guy),
lee joon gi (for his magnificent micro-expressions)
ryu jun yeol (WHEN WILL HE RETURN TO DRAMALAND???!!!)
jo jung suk (you all must see him in jealousy incarnate)
seo in guk
seo kang joon (he played my love, baek in ho)
 and so ji sub!
10: favourite korean actress (es)
zamn let’s do this then!
gong hyo jin (she is sooo lovely and brilliant!!)
kim go eun (again lovely and brilliant!!!)
jun ji hyun (who doesn’t love her dramas tho)
shin min ah (i love all these talented ladies so much it’s not even funny)
yoo in nah
uee
kim hee-ae
kim seul gi
and lee sung kyung!
11: favourite kdrama cliche
ha! i honestly am such a sucker for the main leads doing sweet things like looking after the female lead when she’s hurt- even if it’s buying her medicine, looking after her when she’s drunk. just thoughtful things in general. and i like it when the female lead does the same for the male lead. like just doing lovely things for the other :(
i am also a whore for long hidden glances and petty silly jealousy or crushing babbling nonsense (not like scary jealousy tho) and honestly who doesn’t love a good hearts racing, cheeks blushing cliche moment?
when drama’s do parodies of other famous drama’s idhfud they just take the mick it’s so funny
food, everywhere, yummy ramen, yummy spicy rice cakes… yummy… yumness…
oh and a good crying scene… shed those dramatic tears my boy!!!!
12: least favourite kdrama cliche
wrist grabbing oiadhc’iuafh
MISUNDERSTANDINGS, like the real ugly kind
noble idiocy is just… it rarely works… please stop making my soul suffer…
evil mothers ;((((((
the dreaded make over
14: boys over flowers or secret garden?
boys over flowers!!!! watching secret garden makes me sightly sick now oahiduhfa the main lead :////// plus bof has lee min ho and his perm and i live for that look
15: weightlifting fairy kim bok joo or cheese in the trap?
now what cruel person… i want to say cheese in the trap just because i love baek in ho so much and it was such a thrill at the start… but i’ll have to go with weightlifting fairy… there’s more pro’s in this drama… like the fact i actually finished it when it was airing…
16: jealousy incarnate or oh my ghostess?
definitely jealousy incarnate, lee jong suk is really brilliant as lee hwa shin and even though i have to admit that i didn’t watch the side stories, and mostly only the stories of lee hwa shin and pyo nari… it’s still better than oh my ghostess in my opinion. the latter show made me uncomfortable- mostly due to the fact the main lead was falling in love with a mix of two people. it just made me a bit itchy :(( and sad :(( because then the romance is a bit of a mess
17: descendants of the sun or w: two world?
hmm.. i actually did start descendants but dihfiadhf for the life of me could not get past the first two episode, maybe it was the dramatic love song at the end of their first meeting that had me both scratching my head and stifling laughter. but i’ve heard good things about w, and did want to pick it up until i heard the ending went a bit lopsided, so to save myself disappointment, i did not watch it.
18: moonlight drawn by clouds or legend of the blue sea?
okay so this is tricky… mdbc is critically… probably a better drama but despite it’s flaws i really have to say legend of the blue sea. i watched it the whole way through, and i really love the soundtrack (which im actually listening to as i answer these) and the main characters, and it made me laugh a lot even if i did cry a little over the greatness it could’ve been :((
19: strong woman do bong soon or shopping king louie?
dsuigfiddifdfiv shopping king louie! how cute were booksil and louie ::((( so cute!!
27: favourite kdrama bromance
okay so this is an interesting question… probably the friendship between park do kyung and all his male friends from oh hae young again… their loyalty was heart warming, but grimsie and kim shin from goblin were cute friends too.
28: favourite kdrama friendship
i have a few!
oh hye won and her friend ji soo from secret love affair. i really loved their friendship, how ji soo was a pillar of support for hye won, she was a real friend.
i really truly love the friendship between the three main female leads in the woman who still wants to marry- it’s so warm.
oh hae young and her friend in oh hae young again are also very sweet, i’m really glad hae young had a friend she could talk to.
oh and the friendships between shim cheong and all her cute oddball friends in legend of the blue sea :’((( that was pure stuff right there
and let’s not forget the kids and family on the block in reply 1988, its honestly so lovely :’((
i feel like there’s almost always a sidekick friend in kdrama’s but never are they good friendships that make me feel things :( sometimes the friend is just a prop
29:  favourite actor/actress duo? (one male, one female)
oooh… this is hard… if this was bollywood it would be easier because i would’ve just said kajol and sharukh khan… but here… lemme think… now that i think about it… i really liked gong hyo jin with so ji sub in the master’s sun. i also really liked park hyun sik and lim ji yeon together in high society. but otherwise… my brain is frazzled!!
how could i forget minah and namgung min in beautiful gong shim :((( they had such great chemistry
but lets be real jo jung suk and gong hyo jin in jealousy incarnate were hilarious.
32: do you watch drama’s with 30 plus episodes?
oh boy oh boy… i think i did watch one? but skipped a load of it to watch one couple… i mean i’ve thought about it? especially with father is strange… but it’s a pretty rare case. i know i’ve started some but couldn’t get through them all :(
42: favourite kdrama kiss scene
ihfr’iue ye’qewu the kisses in coffee prince… are truly something… 10/10
54: recommend 3 fluffy AF dramas
efrhiptfuohf’rgh let us see… this is hard because kdrama’s don’t like being complete fluff… but the woman who wants to marry is a wild bit of fun :((
my girlfriend is a gumiho is a really nice watch, wouldn’t call it 100% fluff because… i cried a little
oh and splash splash love is short and sweet without being too silly :’)
and i guess my only love song is a load fluff, you can enjoy its strange antics and not take it too seriously!
thank you for these lovely questions
send me some asian drama asks!

'The Queen's War: The Last Singer' 24 challengers were depicted in a survival match
New Post has been published on http://www.whatsupkpop.com/the-queens-war-the-last-singer-24-challengers-were-depicted-in-a-survival-match/
'The Queen's War: The Last Singer' 24 challengers were depicted in a survival match
On this day, Seung-Woo Kim cheered on the challengers, saying, “Who is the queen queen and the trot guys can’t step back? Who will be the last singer?” The Seung-Woo Kim introduced 10 members of the evaluation team, and Lee said, “I came out to cheer you on. The judges will be fair.”
Yang Soo-kyung said, “You can sing it as you practice.” And Joo Young-hoon, “There are songs I have made, and I can put them on you.” After the evaluation team’s story, the first challenger appeared.
Challenger Cho Eun-sae introduced himself as “Sae-ya, Sa-ya, Sa-eun, and Eun-sae who flew by your side.” In response to Joo Young-hun, who recognizes herself as Hye-kyung, Eun-sae Cho replied shyly that she was a member of the first generation idol group Papaya in the 200s. Cho Eun-sae caught the eye with an intense red dress and silvery colorful props, and sang ‘the face you want to see’ coolly. Cho Eun-sae showed a relaxed appearance while doing a mid-adlib, and succeeded in capturing the evaluation team with a fascinating dance that reminded me of Spain.
The second challenger was Sooyeon Yeon, born by Voice Queen. Sooyeon Yeon introduced himself as “the first voice queen who is trying to give hope to Korean single moms.” Before going on the stage, Sooyeon Yeon said, “Voice Queen changed her life.” She cried and said that she donated 10 million won to the Queen’s prize money.
Soo Yeon-yeon’s stage began. Sooyeon Yeon sang the first measure of ‘A Strange Woman’ at a different tempo than the original song. Since then, unlike the boy queen, she danced brightly and cheerfully with a male dance and radiated a meal. Sooyeon Yeon also received an all-crown.
Next, Sung Eun appeared. Sung Eun said, “It’s been over 15 years since my debut. I turned to Trot 5 years ago.” He said, “I thought it was going to work out well. In 2015, I released a trot album and tasted a crushing defeat. I struggled for 2 years. I am most sorry for my mom.”
Sung Eun sang the wave by singing ‘Samba’s Lady’ with an exciting rhythm and continued the song without shaking. Joo Young-hun admired, “I sing better than before.” Hong Rok-ki also said, “I know that Sung Eun is right. I sang it well before, but I sang it well now.”
The next stage was decorated by Yabujenirin from the Philippines. Yabuzenirin showed off her great skills at Voice Queen, and Joo Young-hoon said to her, “I’m from Philippines, and I’m really good at singing.” Yabuzenirin calmly sang ‘Love, True’, and Chae Yeon said, “I’m a proficient person.”
However, Yabuzerinin won seven crowns and was unable to reach the next round. Joo Young-hoon, who didn’t press the button, said, “I only noticed the treble. I’m sorry.”
Then, two months after his debut as a Gyeonggi folk song, Park Min-ju appeared. Park Min-ju sang ‘Gangwon-do Arirang’ with a combination of Korean traditional music and trot, and received an all-crown at the beginning of the song. Hong Rok-ki asked Park Min-joo and Park A-ri, saying, “Suddenly, I’d like to hear Dooly with pansori and Gyeonggi folk songs.”
Since then, Soomi has appeared. Owned by said push “externally one should win. Everybody does who calls the song well. I am sorry,” he smiled. Soomi Mi sang ‘First Love’ gracefully and showed a surprise performance like an intermediate musical. So, Soomi received the All Crown.
Ahn So-jung, who announced her face at Voice Queen, unfolded the stage. Ahn So-jung recalled the mother she wanted to see and sang ‘Sister’. On the stage of intense emotion, the evaluation team shed tears. Ahn So-jung received the All Crown. Next, the youngest participant, Kim Eui-young, sang ‘Soya Song of Memories’.
Kim Eui-young, who said that she liked and called her often, surprised the evaluation team with a voice and expression that was not like a young age. Eui-young Kim also received an all-crown. Don Spike said, “I pressed it, but I regretted for a moment from the back. I can’t remember now. The judges said, “Are you going to see me now?”
Next, the 7th and 8th icon Kim Se-mi, who was eliminated from the first round of the Voice Queen, sang ‘Love You’. However, he missed the beat and showed a regrettable stage. Unfortunately, Kim Se-mi won six crowns and failed to advance to the next round. Joo Young-hun said, “I wore high heels and danced with treble. It wasn’t easy.”
After Kim Se-mi, Jang Seo-young appeared as a trot while playing a musical. Jang Seo-young sang ‘Laguyo’ relaxedly and vigorously. Jang Seo-young received eight crowns and confirmed the advance to the second round. Don Spie, who didn’t press the button, said, “I was trying to show too much. Musical, rock, ballad, trot … I want the next stage to show an implicit stage.”
Subsequently, Choi Seong, who has a luxury jazz voice, showed off this ‘Camellia Lady’. Choi Seong-eun, who took control of the stage with a strong sensibility, succeeded in advancing to the second round under the selection of Lee, Nature. “I was worried at first. I called it with my own color, not the window, so I pressed it,” Lee said. Yang Soo-kyung advised, “The voice is very good in color, but the selection is too difficult. I wish I could select a song that suits my voice.”
Afterwards, Joela, a representative from Boys Queen, was introduced. Joela sang ‘The Samogok’ with her own scream. Unfortunately, he won the 7th round and failed to advance to the 2nd round.
