I'd love to do Penance

NOTP: Can't say I really have one. Penance x continuing to deal with the bullshit that is Siracusa, I guess?

BROTP: Penance x Proviso. They can have fun bonding over the inadequacies of the law and figuring out how to not get Rhodes Island sued.

OTP: Penance x Vigil (Lavinia pegs Leon). Vigil is very breedable and honestly Penance could use some stress relief (his womb). Keep cumming in his gay ass, Lavinia.

Second choice pairing: Penance x Texas, Penance x Lappland. Honestly, I'm not sure who else she even has chemistry with. Also, there's so much you can do by pitting Penance's belief in justice against the more jaded outlooks you get from Texas and Lappland. The potential dynamics are really interesting to play with.

Fluffy pairing: Penance x Sora and Penance x Exusiai are probably the best options I can think of here, but good luck finding fluffy anything (except wolfgirl tails) in Siracusa.

Angsty pairing: I feel like all of Penance's pairings are angsty at this point. Siracusa does not exactly lend itself to happy relationships. Penance x Vigil, Penance x Texas, and Penance x Lappland all work well here though.

Favorite poly ship: Penance x Texas x Lappland. All three of them deserve to be stuffed by two hot tops, so as long as they just trade off their duties, they all get what they want. Also, like I said above, there is just so much you can do with Texas x Penance and Lappland x Penance, and of course TexLapp is amazing, so you get the best of all three worlds here.

Weirdest pairing: Okay, bear with me here. I was talking with @norondor earlier (always a wonderful experience, if one that tends to be somewhat risky because something like 30% of our conversations end with something new on my ever-growing WIP list) and while discussing the silly titles I give my smutty WIPs, we cooked up the idea of Whislash x Penance. The initial justification was "Zofia needs to get laid and so does Lavinia", but I ended up realizing that they actually have some interesting similarities: they're both disillusioned with the corruption of their respective countries and have younger friends/family who they respect and admire working to reform those countries from within, so it's not out of the realm of possibility that they run into each other at the bar, get drunk together, commiserate/bond over the topics mentioned above,a nd then bond a bit more intimately later in the evening.

They say a single rabbit is a lonely rabbit—that they’re social creatures who thrive in having company. But for Reine, who has always been on her own, she found herself occluding the radiance she didn’t know she had by hiding in the shadows and small, makeshift burrows away from others.

How long has she been doing this?

“Are the lights not fixed yet?” Natsume’s mellifluous words caressed Reine’s ears as he leaned over her petite frame, golden eyes probing the way her fingers moved punctiliously across the control panel.

Shaking her head in disappointment, Reine’s vexation towards herself bypassed the way the tips of her ears brightened up from the propinquity between her and Natsume. “I can’t seem to figure out the timing between the third set and the chorus⋯ No matter how many times I adjust it, it’s always off somehow⋯”

The noise of the booth’s door creaking open resonated within the compact space, galvanizing the pair into leering over at Anzu who had just timorously stepped inside, her voice meek yet filled with benignity as she asked, “Do you two need some help?”

“Ah, Kitten♪” Natsume’s eyes appeared to twinkle as soon as Anzu padded in, those elusive and charming sparkles making Reine’s heart ache. “Little bunny and I are trying to rearrange the lights for Switch’s upcoming Live.”

“I don’t mind taking a look at it,” Anzu proffered her expertise, glancing between Reine and Natsume as they made way for her to examine the panel, “Switch always has elaborate light shows during their performances. It can be pretty tricky.”

The way Natsume and Anzu talked to each other⋯ it was cordial, familiar.

“Thank you; you’re already familiar with how we like them to be. And I want the lights to be perfect, because 「I want my special someone to look at me and fall for me」,” Natsume sent a wink towards Anzu as he beamed.

Reine didn’t like it. She didn’t like it at all; and yet, she still wanted to see that twinkle in Natsume’s eyes forever.

“Um⋯ I-I’ll leave you two to it here,” Reine stammered out before she could even make sense of the entanglement of harrow and pain twisting in the pit of her stomach, “I should go check on Sora-kun⋯!”

And before Natsume or Anzu could even bid her goodbye, Reine rushed from the booth—all while ignoring the pair of eyes that followed her figure.

In the palm of her hands, Reine gaped at the stars scintillating there—wanting to stop them from slipping through her fingers, yet slowly cleaving her hands apart in order to fulfill their true potential.

Ever since she bound herself to a personal contract, Reine had been making subtle (or at least in her eyes) efforts to garner opportunities for Natsume and Anzu to be alone together; or to have them think of the other.

Unfortunately, each attempt, no matter how little, exacerbated the queasiness coating the seams of Reine’s body.

Why did she have to feel so sick all the time? So tired? So exhausted in a way that only leaves her feeling worse?

Asleep in the sunshine, with her silhouette still standing, Reine was incognizant to the boisterous and spirited presence approaching from behind her.

“Ta-da!☆” Copious doves went flying around Reine as Wataru popped up next to her head, cheek almost pressing against hers. He only ascertained she was startled awake when she relinquished a panicked squeak. “Oya? You were asleep, Usagi-chan?”

“Y-Yeah⋯” Reine heaved an anxious exhale as a yawn soon followed, her glossy lips parting cutely.

“No wonder my birdies were reluctant to pop out! My apologies,” Wataru expressed his contrite with a sigh of his own, his hands promptly gripping her waist as he guided her to the nearby benches, “Still, it’s dangerous to sleep in the middle of the walkways!”

That’s when Reine realized her location outside Yumenosaki, small body being nestled down by the ever-eccentric senpai. Even she knew she never would’ve done that normally—falling asleep in the open? Without hiding?—and she had no choice but to blame it on the pulsating pain searing her core.

Was she allowed to feel jealous when she’s the one trying to pair two people up? When she’s the one stabbing herself over and over again?

“I know, I’m sorry,” Reine apologized to Wataru, albeit she could tell her own tone was disheartened and gloomy when she hadn’t meant to sound so execrable.

“You seem trouble, Usagi-chan,” Wataru observed smoothly as he sat himself down beside her, silvery locks descending over his shoulders as his head tilted towards her, “I’m a pretty good listener; I’ll hear what’s plaguing your heart with sadness♪”

Wataru talked even funnier than Natsume, but Reine supposed that’s because he is the one who taught Natsume a lot of his magical tricks. Could she even trust Wataru with her own feelings like this? They hadn’t really interacted much before⋯

“I-I’m not sad,” Reine corrected, strained voice and half-lidded gaze betraying her want to stay calm-and-collected, “I’m disappointed all my efforts aren’t being seen.”

“Your efforts? You aren’t talking about your work as a producer, are you?” Wataru hummed, his shrewdness once again bursting forth like confetti from a true magic show.

“No⋯ I’m talking about Natsume-kun and Anzu-chan,” Reine elucidated, trembling fingers playing with the hem of her skirt as she gathered her hands in her lap, “I’ve been trying to help them get closer, but it just hasn’t been working.”

Reine wanted them to hurry up and realize their feelings so that she can start to stitch together her broken heart; start to pick up the shattered pieces and heal. Because she was in love with Natsume.

“Oh, Usagi-chan, you’re trying to play cupid?” Wataru suspired with sympathy in his words, reaching his hand forward to tilt her head up with his fingers, “It’s not working because you’re pulling the arrow from your own body.”

Perplexity suffused through the aperture leading to her thoughts, and Reine couldn’t fathom the unorthodox articulation. “What do you mean, Wataru-senpai?”

“You’re trying to make the vestiges reach somewhere they were never supposed to be,” Wataru further said, only magnifying her confusion as his finger pokes over her chest, “the magic you’re looking for is already long gone.”

Wataru was definitely an even weirder wizard than Natsume.

Reine couldn’t understand what Wataru was talking about, the equivocations behind his remarks feeling more akin to a curse than a spell, and she continued to be left alone with her thoughts as she rested her head upon an abundance of towels whilst curling herself into a ball.

Images of Natsume’s enthralling visage coruscated in her head as her eyes fluttered shut, the way he looked at Anzu—the way they talked and laughed together. It hurt.

Natsume was the one who pulled her from burying herself completely, who’s dazzling smile and spells saved her time and time again. And here she was again, trying to conceal herself after all the protests she’s lived through.

Squeezing her eyes shut with more force, as if her negative thoughts impelled her to do so, Reine bawled as the door to her nesting spot was ripped open.

“Found you~♪ You were in here, little bunny,” it was Natsume’s countenance that enveloped her vision as her blue irises blinked rapidly, lashes flitting, “You sure love this broom closet.”

“H-How⋯?” Reine faltered in her words as his appearance before her obfuscated her mind, nearly causing her to blank out, “No, what are you doing⋯ Were you looking for me?”

Crouching down onto his knees, Natsume bowed himself down to her diminutive height as she remained laying on the closet flooring; cleaning towels and rags cushioning her body. “Why did you run away earlier?” he questioned, squinting his eyes to evince an iota of tetchiness.

“Run away?” Reine swallowed thickly, perceiving that faint annoyance in Natsume and wanting to cringe away from it. She knew what he was alluding to, yet she was too bewildered to properly talk with him.

“As if you have any business with Noeri-senpai. You’re so obvious,” Natsume in spite of the festering defeatism felt his lips curving into a unbridled half-grin, “You always have the same excuse when leaving. Are you trying to be subtle?”

“What.”

This conversation was happening too fast for Reine to unravel and register—and yet, Natsume continued.

“So, tell me⋯ what are you doing here instead of by my side?” Natsume asked softly, the melodic power his voice retains gripping her as another frown overturns his mouth. “I have fun playing with Kitten, but I miss you too much to enjoy myself to the fullest.”

They say rabbits can die of loneliness.

Dewy tears coalesced in Reine’s eyes as she fixated on Natsume, the pain that’s been besetting her spilling over in the form of a choked sob, “I’m trying to help you find happiness.”

The stress of losing a beloved companion or partner can be all too much to bear.

“Haah, I already found my happiness,” Natsume reassured her, bringing his hand forward, “I found it in this closet a long time ago.”

It’s time to stop hiding—the brightness she yearned to belong to her is right in front of her. Sliding her hand into Natsume’s, Reine felt herself being pulled from the darkness once again.

Not able to squander another moment, Natsume pressed Reine’s body up against his and brought his lips to her cheeks; kissing away each and every glistening tear.

It’s been inside her all along.

6:56 p.m. Outside of Destiny's Island.............

Pit: (Watches the Sunset While Sitting Next to Sora on a the Sandy Beach) You know, I should really watch the sunset more often. It's so bright and pretty to look at......

Sora: ('Sighs Relaxingl') Ain't that the truth....It's so pretty that it kinda makes you wanna forget about all bad, stressful days you had to deal with. (Crosses his Arms While Grumbling) Especially one involving Yen Sid and that stupid, dumb exam he kept mentioning over and over again like a stupid record!

Pit: Yeah- Wait. (Eyes Starts to Widened as He Turns to Sora) What?

Sora: (Realizes What He's Doong Quickly Turning to Pit Before Apologizing) Sorry! Sorry.....Didn't mean to ramble on like that. It's just.....('Sigh') I dunno....

Pit: (Starts Getting Worried a Bit) You had yourself a bad day today?

Sora: Sort of? I mean, I wouldn't say it's the worst day in the world. (Turns Away While Pouting Again) It was more frustrating if anything......

Pit: You wanna talk about it? I'm an above average listener.

Sora: (Chuckles Lightly While Turning Back to Pit) Dude, you're a great listener! (Frowns a Bit) But are you sure you want me to tell you everything? I don't want my ranting to sour the mood for both of us, you know?

Pit: (Casually Shrugs) Hey, if it helps you feel any better, then I don't mind. Gimme your best shot! (Forms a Bright, Reassuring Smile on his Face)

Sora: (Smiles Back at his Angel Friend) Thanks, man. (Tales a Deep Breath Before Speaking) Okay, so, earlier today, Riku and I visited others at Yen Sid's tower. You know, the wizard guy in all blue, with a pointy hat.

Pit: And the long beard?

Sora: Yeah, exactly. So, we went to his tower and discuss the few missions coming up in the near future. I asked if I could help Riku out with his since the missions he got are way more tougher than the ones we usually get, but he turned my request down. (Place One Side of His Cheek onto the Palm of his Hand While Rolling his Eyes) "I'm not on the same skill level as Riku is currently" he says, "Still have a lot to learn about being a proper Keyblade Warrior" he says. Which.....he's not entirely wrong on both fronts, but he could at least take the time to get out of his office and see how much I've grown since the day I took the Mark of Mastery Exam rather than assuming I don't have what it takes at all!

Pit: Mark of Mastery Exam?

Sora: Is this exam Riku and I took a while back to see which one of us is fit to be the Keyblade Master. I failed at the last second and Yen Sid hardly ever let me live it down ever since.....

Pit: Yeesh.....You ever thought about talking to him about it sometime?

Sora: At one point I did, but I didn't wanna bother him in any way, you know? Plus, I doubt he'll care too much about listening to other people's dilemmas, let alone mines.

Pit: I see......Do you, by any chance, ever get jealous of Riku of being the Master instead?

Sora: Not completely? I mean, I was a bit bummed out that I wasn't one alongside with him at first, but it didn't stop me from being happy for him! (Sighs While Looking Away a Bit Sadly) If anything, I'm more worry about if I was ever good enough to become a Keyblade Wielder to begin it......

Pit: ('Sigh') I know what you mean.....I can't tell you how many times I've questioned and doubted myself as the captain of mom's army thanks to a few bad impressions of me.....

Sora: (Eyes Begins to Widened as He Let's Out a Gasps, Turning to Pit) People having bad impressions of YOU of all people!? Blasphemy!

Pit: (Chuckles Lightly) It's true! A loooot of people in the Angel Land didn't think I have what it takes to protect mom, let alone fight alongside her. Even some of the gods and goddesses think I'm unworthy. But eventually, I realized that their thoughts on me doesn't really hold that much weight on me as I keep improving myself for the better.

Sora: Which his something I should've done from the start, huh?

Pit: (Smiles a Bit Sheepishly) Pretty much, yeah.

Sora: (Groans While Facepalming Himself) Vantias' right, I AM eally am a moronic doofus!

Pit: (Starts Pouting a Bit) Hey. You are not a moronic doofus. You're Sora, a proud Keyblade Warrior who's gonna be the best that ever was one of these days and is going to keep doing his best regardless of what anyone else thinks, am I right?

Sora: (Takes Another Deep Breath Before Giving Pit a Firm Nod of Agreement With Determination Written All Over his Face) Right! I made it this far not to quit now. (Place his Hand onto Pit's Shoulder) But Pit......

Pit: Hm?

Sora: I don't care what anyone says......(Gives his Angelic Friend the Sparkling Eyes) You'll always be worthy in my eyes.

Pit: (Almost at a Loss of Words as his Eyes Begins to Sparkle as Well) Sora.......You'll always be worthy in my eyes too~

Dark Pit: (Walks Out of Destiny Trio's House Along with Vantias) Hey! Idiot Twins!

Vantias: Riku says dinner is re- (Notices Sora and Pit Staring at One Another in the Distance Before Squinting at the Both of Them) What the hell are those two doing over there?

Dark Pit: Probably something weird and stupid again. Wanna head back inside?

Vantias: (Turns to see Kairi, Viridi and Kirby Menacingly Glaring at Him and Pitto Through the Windows Inside) I would if those three weren't giving us death glares right now.

Dark Pit: (Sighs While Pinching the Bridge of his Nose) Of course.......

So in my Sora and Vanitas swap AU, Sora takes the role of Vanitas being all of Ventus's “Darkness” Everything is the in this but just that Sora still has his hero-happy personality with a pinch of Vanitas personality too you know. And, since everything is likely the same as normal bbs universe that means Sora has the same relationship that Vanitas has with his Master, Xehanort. (If you read the novel you would know what I mean idk if you did ) And, with that Sora tries to make Xehanort proud and happy for him. (He just wants a loving father-and-son relationship but knowing Xehanort he not gonna have that.) Which starts his envy of Ventus having stuff he doesn't.

At the beginning of birth by sleep before Aqua and Terra starts their exam Xehanort tells Sora about the Keyblade X and how if he wants Sora to merge with Ventus so he can have it and that he would be proud of him if he could do that for him. Which, Sora of course is happy because “He would be proud of me!” But, Xehanort knowing how excited he would get by this news, Xehanort tells him the downside about it which is if he doesn't do it he’ll kill him, Sora is Struck by this but doesn't give up on himself.

All that stuff in the game blah, blah. Just that Sora is thinking about being whole again. Being whole means he and Ventus would be together but he doesn't know if he wanted that. He kinda like being his own person and felt happy just being Sora. This whole situation makes him go down a spiral with his emotions getting worst making the monsters he created stronger.

But, he doing this for his Master and he needs to make him proud of him. On the battlefield, Sora feels nervous and scared and tells his Master I don’t about doing this also that he wants to be his own person Xehanort doesn't take it kindly to this new and tells him to do it or else... Which, Sora tire to act bravely while he completely crumbles under the scenes.

And, yeah, yeah, all that stuff happens and Sora and Ventus make it into Stations, and before Sora tells Ventus that he is finally proud to do this and his master would be proud of him too. But Ventus is like “What if I destroy the keyblade?” Sora didn't think bout that part, “I don’t know. But all I know is that I’m winning this…” Ventus chuckled “Hm, alright then. We’ll see…” They fight yeah, yeah. And before fully finishing off Sora, he tells him that “The keyblade is the both of us So if I destroy it I’ll destroy you as well.” This Throws Sora off his game and sends him into a fit yelling and screaming at Ventus, “You get everything! Everything that I wanted! A loving family, friends, and praise! Hell, you even get to be your own person!” As those words fell out his mouth Ventus give him the final strike.

Ventus smile and laugh n laugh before noticing, he was crying and shaking. “Sora...?” “This is all your fault! Do you think I wanted to do this?” Ventus watched as his other half was in pain and he feel every bit of it...“I hate this job...Every out of I had just ended up with me dying...” “I don’t understand. Then why did you do it?” “I just wanted someone to be proud of me...That's all...” Before Ventus could get a word in Sora faded away leaving him all alone with feel horrible feelings and regret…

(I gotta get back to this story lol)

that sounds super interesting actually!! i havent read the kh novels yet (i was considering getting them but now i definitely am) and i never actually finished bbs either (💀) but i really like how you explore ventus and soras relationship because from what i know about bbs i dont think they really do that with ventus and vanitas and them both feeling similar about their circumstances but cant really communicate that and feeling pitted against eachother is rlly cool i think!!

Xion’s eyes were still the same shade of blue, her hair the same shade of black, her complexion still pale, yet she found herself looking for any discrepancies in her appearance. She heard grief changed people yet she could see no change in herself. Maybe it was meant as something internal, but try as she might, Xion didn’t grieve. Her days were the same—try not to freak out about assignments that aren’t due for ages and go about living unnoticed.

Her hands gripped the sink. 

The rain started at 5:01 in the morning. School wouldn’t start until 8 o’clock. Today would be no different than any other day. Xion turned on the water, watching it bubble up in the sink. She wondered what would happen if she filled the bathtub to the brim. If she stepped into the tub and laid there, would she be completely submerged? Fear pierced through her at the thought. Her fingers wrapped around the faucet, shutting off the water. When her hands were fully submerged in the scalding hot water, she listened.

It didn’t stop. Time never stopped.

Xion knew how it ended, so in turn, she prepared. People said there was no preparing for grief, yet she tried. Her armor still clung to her body even now, staring at her reflection in the mirror. Learning how to be alone meant no more grieving. If she learned to be alone, do everything by herself, then she could navigate the world quietly.

Her hands burned red when she took them out of the water.

The bus jostled. Destiny Islands’ scenery blurred past as Xion focused on the book she was reading. She squinted. This was far from ideal and maybe if she tried reading at home, she wouldn’t have this problem, but then she remembered her reasoning: A girl with a book wasn’t as approachable as a girl without one. 

“Whatcha’ reading?”

Point retracted. 

Xion turned a page.

Silence.

A finger tapped her shoulder.

She turned another page.

A whisper. “Are you reading smut?”

She whipped her head around to see brown spikes, blue eyes, and a friendly smile. “What?”

“You know, like,” he said as he leaned in a little closer and whispered, “sex scenes.”

“What do you take me as? A heathen? This is a school bus,” she hissed.

“Whoa, chill.” He held up his hands. “I’m not judging. Just curious. I just always see you reading anyway.”

Xion turned around.

“I’m Sora, by the way.”

She said nothing.

“That’s not a very friendly thing to do.”

At least he wasn’t like the boys who liked to moan in class for no reason whenever they were seated next to her, but he was barely above them on Xion’s tier list. Barely.

Xion reminded herself she’d be graduating from her middle school in the next few months. 

At his continuous pestering, Xion finally relented. 

“Xion.”

“Huh?”

“My name’s Xion.”

“Okay, Xion, wanna hang out after school today?”

She turned to look at him again. “We’re not friends.”

“We could be.”

“I don’t need friends.”

Sora’s mouth fell open. It made him look suspiciously like a goldfish. “But everyone needs friends.”

“Not me,” she retorted. 

Xion turned around and went back to reading her book.

Xion took her time packing up. Of course she never did this when going in between classes during school hours, but her final class had just ended and she didn’t want to be trampled by the other students. The last thing she expected was to see someone waiting for her.

Of course it was Sora.

He waved.

She groaned.

“Xion, let’s go.” He was practically bouncing up and down.

Xion squinted her eyes at the blaring sun. It was a strange occurrence. The day started out gloomy and then bam! Sunshine. 

Despite his earlier enthusiasm, Sora walked about the island in a lackadaisical manner. She huffed and followed him, kicking every pebble out of the way and there were a lot of pebbles to kick. 

“Where are we going?” she asked. A pout formed on her lips. Why did she have to go and disrupt the silence? She could be doing homework right now. The homework wasn’t due for another few days since it was the weekend, but that wasn’t the point.

“The arcade.”

“What are we gonna play? DDR?” She’d meant it more as a jest, but by the look on Sora’s face, he took her seriously.

“Yeah! And then we can play some Classic Kingdom games!”

Xion would deny it if asked, but she didn’t mind spending time with Sora. He was pretty entertaining. During lunch that day he sat next to her and proceeded to create a telenovela featuring a knife, fork, spoon, spork, and a straw. The knife and spork had a forbidden romance while the spork’s parents, the fork and spoon, disapproved. The two ran off with each other with the help of the straw, but secretly the straw was in love with the knife. 

She tried not to laugh during Sora’s dramatic retelling, but a giggle came through here and there. Xion wondered why he wanted to be her friend.

The last time Xion was in an arcade she was nine. All she remembered were the low lights, sometimes flashing, the noise of too many kids running about, and the dark colors. Would it be the same? 

It was, minus the kids. There were kids all around, but they were mostly Xion and Sora's age. 

Sora took her arm and led her to the DDR machine. 

"I'm pretty good at DDR," he said. 

Xion rolled her eyes. She did her best to keep her face as stoic as possible. There's no way Sora would stick around. 

"No one wants you."

She almost shook her head at the words spoken to her years ago. 

"What if I beat you?"

A cocky grin split across his face. "You won't."

"Says the guy who can't even use a computer right," Xion said before she could stop herself.

"Hey! It's not my fault I'm technologically challenged."

The game started. 

One. Two. Three. Four.

One. Two. Three. Four. 

Sora was good, Xion admitted, but she was certain she could beat him at the Classic Kingdom games. Yes, she wasn't much of a gamer, but she remembered watching Yuffie hunched over, dark eyes lit up with determination as she killed enemies or solved a puzzle. Xion would peak her head into Yuffie's room and watch sometimes. 

When the game finished Sora turned toward her. "I told you." Once again, he was smiling. 

"But are you good at the Classic Kingdom games?"

His smile faltered. 

Xion stifled her laughter in hopes that her face was emotionless. 

It was only fair she beat him at the other games.

"Aww, man." 

It turned out Sora was a sore loser which made winning for Xion infinitely more funny.

Hanging out with Sora hadn't been so bad. Xion would never tell him that though. Maybe it was a fluke. Once school started up again Monday he'd move on to someone else or choose to hang out with his actual friends. 

“Hi, baby.” Mom sat cross legged on the couch, a small desk before her, laptop and coffee mug in tow. 

“Hi.” Xion skulked her way to the kitchen.

“Did you go somewhere? You’re a little late.”

“I, uh, went to the arcade.”

“That’s nice. Did you go with any friends?”

“I guess.” Xion took out her half-eaten candy bar from the fridge. Mom liked to buy the king sized candy bars for her and—nevermind. It didn’t matter.

Her mom chuckled lightly. “You guess?”

“Yeah.” Xion stuffed the rest of her candy bar into her mouth before heading to her room.  There was homework to be done.

Xion furrowed her eyes at the question before her. She read it over thrice before throwing her pencil and paper down and resting her head on her desk. The coolness of her room helped, if only a little. Biology wasn’t her favorite subject. Usually Xion could breeze through her homework, but today her head was throbbing.

The anniversary is coming up.

Her eyes turned away from the books neatly filed away on her desk and toward her full-length mirror. 

It was a routine at this point.

She stood up and walked toward her mirror.

Black hair. Blue eyes. Pale skin.

All the same.

The door leading to the other bedroom sat still and quiet. Her hands shook. There was no reason to go in there. Surely even in death, Yuffie wouldn’t want her rummaging through her stuff and sifting through her secrets.

Xion’s hand felt the coolness of the mirror. She once read somewhere that mirrors were made of sand. If her hand could sink into the mirror the way it did sand, maybe she could find peace. If she could just disappear maybe forever, maybe for a short time, she’d find an answer for why her sister was dead. Sometimes she wished she had taken the brunt of it instead of Yuffie.

“Wake up! Wake up! Please.”

The world moved on months ago so why couldn’t she?

And before people ask why Project X Zone 2 feats aren’t allowed, it’s because in that game, Phoenix and Maya got a power boost from Morrigan who used her OP powers to mega charge the magatama (And since Morrigan is a S Ranked Darkstalker, that is one HECK of a power boost) she did this because otherwise Phoenix and Maya wouldn’t be able to help the others or defend themselves from B.B. Hood. Therefore everything that occurs in Project X Zone 2 counts as outside help and thus not allowed.

Heliogab: Is a really fucking weirdo and imediatelly says that he will naturally win this show. Gets eliminated in the first episode.

Kaori: Looksqueen with an instagram following. Cannot sing and gets eliminated in episode two. She has to sing against Lighton and everyone agrees that Lighton should have gone)

Tilly: Is really good and can sow and act… but looses in the singing challenge after getting bad advice from Turis. She is mad as fuck. (Dont worry, she will win All Stars)

Turis: SO fucking shady! Acts like he is best friends with everybody and then gives bad advise. The group finds out and Turis gets eliminated because she's distracted with her own drama.

Caravel: Looks really good and has a sense of style… but lieterally all her clothes are in graytones! Gets challanged to add some colour and ads a „light beige“. Get’s eliminated.

Joule: Can serve some really good looks and is way too quiet for the drama. The show finds her boring and finds a convenient way to get rid of her

Elliot: Peagant Queen. Complains about everyone taking the competition not serious enough. „Nobody goes through as much pain as me!!“ (Mostly backpain) Does a lot of death drops and leaves at Snatch Game.

Sora: Talented queen and resident „big girl“ (even though she is only the one person not actively starving). Gets voted miss congeniality.

Lighton: Cannot sing, cannot dance, cannot act, cannot sow….. what can she do???? Nobody knows and everyone hopes for her to have an arc…. She doesn’t.

Tesla: Another classic peagant queen. Is in literally all of the drama and just peak entertainment. Nobody wants to be in a group challange with her. Master oft he emergency gymnastics and lipsynch assassin.

Glory: Just your standard peagant queen. She can serve looks, sing dance… is even really inspirational and talks about her journey a lot! She just lacks a specialty and it gets her out.

Acorn: Epitome of profecionallism and poise. Basically Chad Michels. Just cannot not look beautiful and has trouble eating a burger on camera. Plays Jason Bright at Snatch Game.

December: Literally the most shady person on planet earth. „We are not at Ru Paul’s Best Friend Race“. Everybody hates her but she literally makes it into the finaly, because she gets a very nice and thorough villain edit.
