Another PSA!! TW // ableism

If you kin with a character who is disabled physically, please don’t harm yourself in order to be more like them. I can understand where you’re coming from, but not only is that endangering your personal well being but it can also be seen as ableist.. I’m not saying you can’t kin with them, you do you, but don’t try to break your spine/legs/etc so you can be paralyzed again or try to blind yourself or whatever please.. You could seriously hurt yourself and you really have no idea what being paralyzed/etc. is like in this life, even if you have memories involving it. Not to mention you could hurt yourself way more than you intended to and really cause harm to those around you both emotionally and by having to pay for medical bills/care for you/etc. 

TL;DR PLEASE!!! Don’t hurt yourself just to be more like your kintype. 

I’m very concerned for some of the people who have sent in asks relating to this and if you think of hurting yourself and have no one else to turn to please talk to me! You can contact me on @elf-help or @elfinkin and all conversations are completely private. I really care about all of you and I want you to be safe, so please please please don’t hurt yourselves!
