I feel like you guys were living together or maybe actually recently moved in together. You guys were unpacking stuff which lead to you guys procrastinating for HOURS talking about old memories. When you guys were best friends, you both decided to keep a memory binder & just fill it with random stuff that meant so much.

You'll pulled it out of a dusty box labeled "Memories". You didn't have a better name for it than just the word itself. You pulled it out the box & opened the memory binder. You flipped through a couple pages, reminiscing the good ol' days wishing you could experience it again.

"Hey, Al?" You shouted to catch Alphonse's attention.

"Wassup, boo?" You heard his voice faintly as steps came towards you. He looks at the binder your holding in your hands. He raises a brow. "Is there something wrong?"

"Oh nono. I was just looking through old pictures again. I called you over because I was wondering if you wanna see them." You asked.

"Sure, boo. I don't mind procrastinatin' for a bit."

So for a bit, you guys both chill recalling memories from the past. Alphonse's strange pictures which was pictures of his big ass forehead or just pictures of you cooking at your house. Dates, dances, & all of that lovey-dovey stuff but you stop to look at a picture of you & Alphonse just kissing. It looked like a shot from a indie movie.

The more you looked at the picture, the more you thought deeply about it.

"Hey, Al?" You turned to look at him. "Wanna hear a fact about me?"

He cocked his head. "Sure? What you're a serial killer or sum'?" He joked.

"No!" You punched his arm playfully. "I was going to tell that this was my first relationship with someone." Alphonse's smile soon became nervous.

"Haha.. wait you're not kidding-"

& then Alphonse went on a long rant.

"I'm just saying you could've done SO much better, bae-"

"But, I love you?? I'm happy that you're the first person I'm with??"

"bUt YoU dOn'T uNdErStAnD-"

"Why can't you accept that I love you???"

Alphonse would refuse the fact that outta everyone that you could've fell in love with first. It would be him outta of all people. He feels special but at the same time, he just sobbing.

Mr. Compress being a flamboyant, charming, and sly individual was definitely a big factor in why you liked him. That, and the air of mystery he seemed to exude. It was the mask, wasn't it? You found yourself staring at his face -- or lack thereof -- more often than you cared to admit. Truly, you were a MASTER of subtlety. He must have caught you staring about a dozen times, but always played it off like a gentleman. "Have I enchanted you yet, my darling (Y/n)?" he would ask, laughing as you scrambled to compose yourself. Fuckin' smooth, dipshit. Why'd he always have to catch you gawking?

What you didn't know was that this little charade went both ways. Sako was simply better at covering his tracks. Less blatant about his admiration. The hold you had over him was beyond what you could have ever imagined. Sako finds himself wanting to impress you -- make you smile and laugh. Ah, your voice is so angelic. The utter joy he gets from watching your eyes sparkle as he performs an impressive sleight of hand trick is enough to motivate him.

"Every magician worth his salt needs a lovely assistant, wouldn't you agree?" He flirts RELENTLESSLY, but you're either too dense or too reserved to make a move back. At some point, he gets fed up with your reluctance to acknowledge his advances. If subtlety isn't a language you speak -- ✨extravagance✨ will have to do.

When you walk into the room, you're dumbfounded. Flowers, wine, candles and music. Sako was there waiting for you and claps his hands in anticipation at your appearance. "I thought perhaps this would erase any doubts you might have in regards to my intentions with you," he says, closing the distance between you. "You're quite easy to fool, my darling, but so very difficult to seduce."

Oh. You got it now. Finally.

"A dance, my dear?" he asks, offering his hand to you with a bow. After you take his hand, he brings it up -- moving his mask aside just a smidge to place a kiss upon your palm. "I've been craving this ever since we met. Let us make this a night to remember."

he's (just like all the other LOV members) so used to be subtle and cautious with every little one of his move. but if for some reason you don't get the hint or try to ignore it, he would take every chance of you being near him to shamelessly flirt with you and be upfront about his feelings towards you, to corner you and get the words out of you. he ain't going to let you run away from these feelings.

would literally shower you with compliments from the moment you wake up to when you're about to go sleep. he's definitely the one to blame for the praise kink you've developed.

50. Rebirth

2B sits along a corridor windowsill, hugging her knees to her chest as she gazes out the bunker into the deep expanse of space. It is a beautiful view, but the patterns of shining stars that lay beyond the window don't provide her much comfort.

She remembers when 9S pointed them out to her, once. He'd told her the names of different stars and constellations, the faraway planets, even the tiny glimmers of galaxies that are just visible in this part of space. But…that 9S is long since gone.

2B tentatively places her hands against the glass, as if reaching to touch the stars. She doesn't remember the details of what 9S had shared, only the way his eyes sparkled brightly as he'd relayed his knowledge to her. 

Her thoughts are interrupted when she notices movement in the glass beside her hand. A familiar reflection stops behind her.

“Excuse me, ma’am?”

2B turns slowly, lowering her legs from the sill’s ledge and smoothing out her skirt as she faces the voice’s source. She swallows at her rising panic when she discovers 9S standing timidly before her.

“Sorry to bother you, but do you know where I can find the control room? I have orders to see the Commander, but I don't know where she is…”

She stares at him for an awkwardly long moment before pointing in the proper direction. “That way. The door is on your right,” she says quietly.

“Thank you!” He flashes a hopeful smile. “My name is 9S, by the way. My model type just reset so I don't have any memory data. I'd like to meet more people around the ship!”

9S gazes at 2B expectantly. 2B stares back in thick silence.

“So,” he says, still maintaining his bright tone, “I hope we can get to know each other! What's your name?”

In that instant 2B kicks off the windowsill and turns abruptly away. She can only ignore his faltering smile and his injured expression as she walks farther down the corridor. 2B rounds the corner just in time, barely making it out of his sight before she chokes out a single, strangled sob.

She'd known 9S would relaunch today. That was why she was sitting at the window near his room, waiting to get a glimpse of him. She'd just wanted to see him, to reassure herself that he's back and familiar in some form, even if he doesn't remember. It's an impulse she has yet to resist.

But this time he'd noticed her. And she'd ruined it.

Emotions are prohibited, she reminds herself and straightens her posture. It's the only way she can get through this another time.

Soon enough she'll be reintroduced on a mission with him. They'll be partnered together for an Earth descent. She'll have another chance to save him, and then…

She'll wait for him at the windowsill again once she fails to protect him.

Being busy isn’t too bad, though, as long as I get some time to enjoy myself and relax once I’m done.

While listing the things that I had been up to, I had asked someone very dear and close to me for help deciding on what to write about.

It just so happens that his immediate answer to ‘What silly antics have I been up to as of late?’ was ‘the countdown ending’, in which he was apparently implying that I’ve been messing around with nuclear detonators. However, I’ll have you know that it’s not true- HE’S the one who owns 27 nuclear detonators, NOT me! (light hearted, of course! I still love him.)

His second answer (which was how I got sand in my socks) was that I had been in the desert for.. a period of time, to say the least.

As for the bug getting in my mouth and the electrical socket coming out of the wall, those were my doings- obviously not on purpose, but still my fault. (I would explain these both but I’m just as confused as you are, unfortunately.)

Anywho, I simply thought that I’d give you a bit of an explanation on some of the situations I’ve found myself in since the last ask I’ve sent in!

Which genderbent character of deathnote would be popular in your opinion?

My bias wants to say L because L is my favorite and I think L would be even better as a woman, but with how much people hate women, especially morally gray women, L probably wouldn't be the most popular. Especially if she was an "unattractive" woman, she wouldn't win.

So I'm actually going to say Light, even though Light would still be evil, as the main character, I'm sure the story would still try to make you sympathetic towards Light and root for Light regardless of her crimes. She'd also probably be a very attractive woman, so I could see people liking her for that and being really smart. She'd get the whole girlboss treatment for sure.

Personally though, a female L and Mello would probably be my favorites.
