The WoW guild I’m in...I don’t love it. I’ve never really felt like I clicked with many people in the guild. I have with a few recently, but overall not really. And a few times there have been conversations that made me feel very out of place--lots of pro-gun stuff, for instance. And tonight a discussion about transgender kids that amounted to “I don’t get it” and “their parents could be FORCING them to be transgender” and “they didn’t change anything about themselves except their hair but now they want to be called a boy” and I just--like, I just want to have fun and kill dragons and not have to feel like I have to explain why we need better gun laws or why you don’t have to fucking understand why someone chose different pronouns to respect them and why transgender kids exist and

Sometimes I feel so, so lonely. I used to have really good friends and then I stepped away from them for very important reasons that none of them know or understand and then I had to have surgery that took me away from everyone for an entire damn year and now I can’t find friends that I like as much as I liked them and I overthink everything and I want to be good at the game but I’m not and I’M JUST FRUSTRATED.
