i am begging on my hands and knees for jon matteson and bryce charles to sing a song together. since i first watched npmd, every single day without fail i have thought about their harmonies together in hatchet town (“if he gets me next i could be three” and “fits the bill, he fits the bill”) literally the sickest harmonies in the entire show, i turn into a little gremlin every time i hear them. their voices sound SO good together it actually makes me a little ill. my favourite song my favourite line my favourite harmonies, their voices blend perfectly and i am so desperate to hear them sing a duet to hear them singing together again pls pls please pls pls pls. pls.

I love you, Mary Astell, but: “What did we come into this World for? To Eat and to Drink and to pursue the little Impertinences of this Life? Surely no -”
Surely YES, I just want to Eat and to Drink and to pursue the little Impertinences of this Life for a bit, thank you actually.

I'm half way through the John Oliver episode on organ donation and I just want to be clear that when I say I want my body to be donated to science, that absolutely DOES include the Museum of Osteology and/or pay per view autopsies in a hotel.

wait ok so the Suitehearts have a garage but mostly run around in this old van that they've partially decked out as a makeshift Zones ambulance – it's kinda what they were always meant to do and why fate (Sandman) brought them together. Benzedrine was a burned out medical student in the City most of the way through his residency when an experimental "treatment" on a patient backfired, killing the patient and sending Benze chemically spiraling into something not quite insanity, but also not quite being normal. it also sent him running to the Zones, where after a while he was found by lone-wolf speedster Sandman, Zone born and raised and extremely selective about who he gets near. for some reason, he picks Benzedrine (before his name is even that. his City name was Benjamin. it seems fitting though, when Sandman explains Killjoy renaming. he doesn't have any hard feelings toward his previous life. he just wants to make a better one). Crab and Donnie are distant cousins. Donnie was Drac'd and Crab recognized him, fought him to pull the mask off and undo the programming, but got his throat nearly slit in the process. Crab is mute because of that. Benzedrine wanted to become a rescue operation. he has all this medical knowledge, and there are so many injuries in the Zones that can't be cared for properly because people don't know or have the supplies. so Sandman gets Donnie and Crabby on board, calls in an old favor, they find a home base. the van comes later. the four of them are all nervous wrecks a lot of the time. but the point isn't to build themselves up or be something great (well, maybe it is. a little bit.) (none of them can honestly deny that a reputation can be a nice thing). it's about making a better life for themselves and others.

Ahhh, man, trying to settle on which voice I'd like this Shadow to "use", and I never can decide between David Humphrey and Jason Griffith. Humphrey is the voice I always immediately think of, because he was the OG, and I love how intellectual and soft-spoken he sounds, but I have to admit that Griffith really brought a lot of vocal range to Shadow that I love. Humphrey never quite sounded angry enough, but Griffith could do a terrifying growl that's hard to beat.
