Attack Dog pt 5
Sweet Pea X Reader enemies to lovers
Warnings: Fluff and smut
A/N: Final part.
-------------------------------
3rd person
“So YN, tell us who did that to you already!”
“Not a chance Kevin” you laughed, pulling your jumper closer into your neck, trying to cover what Sweet Pea left you with three nights earlier. Archie wrapped an arm around your shoulder as he pulled you through the corridor Monday morning.
“Kiss and tell YN, we'll keep your secret safe” you could only roll your eyes at him, knowing that would never happen. You didn't want to tell them what happened between Sweet Pea and you, you didn't really even understand it enough to explain. The only thing you understood was it made Jughead insanely uncomfortable and that alone made you insanely happy.
Sweet Pea POV
Jones and I didn't really speak after he stormed out of my trailer on Saturday morning. Man I wish I got a picture of his face at the sight of YN. Priceless.
We all sauntered up the school hallway, Jughead keeping his distance from me. I met her eyes midway through laughing at whatever her friends said as I passed. I didn't look for long, afraid if I did I'd have no choice but to pin her to the locker and finish what we started. I don't like seeing Archie hang off her, that should be my arm. I shook my head. I'm being crazy, it was a moment, these things happen. Won't happen again.
-
I swear it was like she was avoiding me after that. I didn't see her in the halls, I didn't see her class or after school for the rest of the week. I sat on my sofa thinking about what happened in this trailer a week earlier. What gives? A knock to the trailer door snapped me out of it.
“YN?”
“Are you alone?”
“Yeah wh-” she then pressed her hands into my chest, pushing me deeper into the trailer, catching and closing the front door with her foot. She pulled her shirt from over her head and stood in front of me in her bra and jeans. What is happening? What is happening?
“What is happening?”
“Fancy some stress relief Sweet Pea?” Oh hell yeah.
3rd person
Sweet Peas hands went straight to your hips, the feeling of small calluses meeting your soft sides sent pulses down you both. He met your neck, the same place he had a week ago as his hands moved to cup your backside, lifting you from the floor to wrap your legs around his waist.
“Why can't I keep away from you?” You breathed, the hairs on Sweet Peas neck standing on their end.
“Why does that make me so happy?” Was all he could manage before reconnecting to your neck.
Sweet Pea carried you into his room before throwing you onto the bed. You knotted your fingers through his hair and forced down the moan trying to escape at the pleasure of having him nip you. You tugged his hair until he pulled from you to face you.
“Sweet Pea if we kiss…this might become more than what either of us want”
“I want all of you”
Sweet Pea almost cautiously lowered his mouth to yours until they met again. Much like the first time electricity coursed through both of you but unlike the last time, neither pulled away, only growing hungrier.
You could feel him hardening against your thigh, no longer able to fight the little victory you were going to give him, you moaned gently. He smirked hard into the kiss before it became more feverish. Your hand ran across him beneath the fabric of his jeans, his turn to groan.
You both began to rip the clothes from one another until you wrapped your legs around him to pulling him in closer. You both wanted every inch of skin to touch. His hand went from your chest, slowly sliding down to your inner thigh, teasingly.
Your fingers began dragging up and down his bare back before digging into his shoulders at the feeling of him entering you. You both let out a breathless moan at the sensation. You wrapped your legs around his torso at this while he placed his hands on your hips to steady himself. He slowly began dragging in and out before the sensation was too much and he increased his speed, spurred on by your hitching breath. The sensations growing and growing and growing until the band snapped sending you into overdrive as every nerve in your body stood to attention and then exploded. You practically screamed his name making him go over the edge, returning the sentiment by moaning your name. Sweet Pea collapsed on top of you before rolling over and hauling your shaking body to his.
“I had no idea how much I needed to hear you say my name like that YN” Sweet Pea finally found some composure to rasp out. You tried not to cringe in embarrassment as you buried a laugh into his chest.
“Don't get shy on me now YN” he returned the laugh and you smiled, pulling the covers up around the both of you, tangling in your legs.
“YN…I'm never gonna not be in the Serpents”
“I know”
“But I also really like kissing you”
“I know”
“Can both be true at the same time?” You reached up towards him to meet his lips again.
“Are you still a Serpent now Snake brain?”
“....yeah?”
“Well I guess both can be true at the same time”
~
Sweet Pea POV
I loved being with her, even if we were keeping it on the quiet side. I felt like she was starting to understand the Serpents and maybe even appreciate them, even if it was still from afar. She would come and go from my home without notice and I loved every moment she was with me. The only thing I found hard was not screaming to the world she was mine and I was hers even though we decided to just be casual. If spending every moment we could together be called casual that is. Continuing on like we still hated each other in public became a bit of a game and a bit of a turn on. Watching other guys fawn over her though was definitely not.
I filled my locker with books I pretended to read as Jones stood next to me watching the world go by. We had kind of decided silently to forget what he thinks he saw between me and YN three months ago. If only he knew what happened that night had far and beyond escalated passed that.
“Fuck it” was all I heard from Jones before he sprung off the locker and towards YN. In one smooth moment he caught her by the arms as she walked past with Archie and pulled her into kiss him. Kiss him. YN is kissing him. Kissing him. It really felt like every single emotion possible coursed through me. I had no idea what my body was going to do. Was I going to vomit? Was I going to faint? No. I was having an out of body experience as I stood, walked over, caught Jones by the shoulders and flung him backwards with what strength my shocked state had and flew him into the locker I had just left. It felt like slow motion and then, it felt like motion sickness.
“Sweet Pea!” Was she shouting at me? I really felt like the earth wasn't under me and then it wasn't. Jones jumped from the ground and straight into me. If I wasn't in a daze he wouldn't have taken me off the ground but it felt like I was out at sea. We rolled around the floor, I dodge his hands and tried to push him off me. I didn't fight back, not even when he clipped my jaw, I probably deserve what's happening. YN was shouting at the two of us until Archie and Fangs hauled Jones from me, cursing out loud. Fangs might kill him for me. I sat up from the ground, the whole hallway's eyes on me and my bleeding lip. I found my sea legs take me running from the scene and out into the car park, YN hot on my heels.
“What the hell Sweet Pea?! That wasn't very casual!” I heard her shout from behind me, her voice echoing off the empty car park.
“What if I don't want to be casual anymore YN?! What if I never wanted to be?!” I could see this caught her off guard. I was finally thinking out loud.
“Finally, you were getting hard to read” was all she said with laugh before rushing to me, wrapping her arms around me and kissing me. Electricity returned. The ground beneath my feet returned to a solid state. We parted smiling, over her shoulder I saw our friends at the school entrance. Not a single face without shock or surprise. I couldn't care less.
“I guess I'm not the only attack dog in the relationship” she smiled, wiping the blood from my lip. Relationship, this was a relationship

It was a cool autumn evening in Riverdale, the kind where the leaves crunched beneath your feet and the air was cold and crisp. The sun had dipped below the horizon, painting the sky in hues of orange and deep purple. At Pop's Chock'lit Shoppe, the usual buzz was replaced by an air of anticipation as Jughead prepared to introduce his boyfriend, Y/N, to his friends from the south side.
Jughead had always been protective of the people he cared about, and introducing Y/N to the serpents was a big step. They had been dating for a few months, and although Y/N had been living in Riverdale for months now and was settling in with ease  He was still nervous about meeting Jughead’s friends. Jughead was determined to ease Y/N’s nerves.
“Are you ready?” Jughead asked, glancing sideways at Y/N. They were sipping on milkshakes, the sweet vanilla flavour doing little to mask Y/N anxiety.
“I guess so,” Y/N replied, His voice wavering slightly. “What if they don’t like me?”
Jughead reached across the table, taking hold of Y/N’s hand. “Trust me. They will, besides, you’re Great.”
Y/N couldn’t help but smile at Jughead’s encouragement. After a moment of quiet, He  nodded. “Okay, I’m ready.”
The bell above the door jingled as the serpents entered the diner making their way over to Jughead's table and sitting down joining them with ease “Hey guys, I want you all to meet Y/N.”Jughead said
The Trio  turned their heads, and a moment of silence fell as they took in Jughead’s significant other. Y/N felt a little on edge  under the weight of scrutiny, but Jughead squeezed his hand reassuringly.
“Y/N, this is Toni,” Jughead gestured to a pretty girl with dark brown hair with a stand-out light pink highlight  “and this is Sweet Pea,” he continued, pointing to a tall guy with a double-headed serpent tattooed on the left side of his neck. “ and finally Fangs” he said  gesturing to guy with a laid-back demeanour.
“Hey!” Y/N nodded, trying to mask his nerves with a small smile.
Toni grinned, her eyes sparkling with mischief.“Nice to meet you, Y/N. Jughead’s told us a lot about you. We’ve been looking forward to this.”
“Yeah, man,” Sweet Pea chimed in, crossing his arms over his chest. “If Jughead’s into you, you must be pretty cool”
“Exactly,” Fangs added with a grin, his laid-back demeanour putting Y/N a bit more at ease. “You must have some serious charm to get him to open up.”
Sweet Pea leaned back in his chair, arms crossed with a friendly smirk. “ and you're hot”
Y/N snorted a laugh at the unexpected compliments. “Thanks, I guess,” his voice steadier now. “I’m just trying to keep up with Jug”
Jughead chuckled, a hint of pride in his eyes. “You’re doing great.”
The conversation flowed more easily as they settled into a rhythm. Toni asked Y/N about his interests, and he found himself sharing stories about his life before he moved to riverdale. Sweet Pea and Fangs chimed in with their own anecdotes, and soon the initial tension began to dissipate.
Fangs grinned “ Jughead finally found someone who can put up with his brooding”
Y/N laughed, the sound brightening the tension in the air. “I wouldn’t call it brooding. More like intense contemplation, right?” He shot Jughead a playful wink, and he couldn’t help but roll his eyes, a smile creeping onto his face.
“Yeah, let’s go with that,” he said, relieved to see Y/N relaxing. The Serpents were accepting Y/N will ease, He was fitting in well.
At one point, Sweet Pea leaned across the table. “So, what’s it like dating our brooding leader over here?”
Y/N smirked. “It's a lot of intense contemplation followed by snack marathons. Pretty solid gig if you ask me.”
The table erupted in laughter, and Jughead felt the warmth of acceptance wash over him.
As the night wore on, Jughead and Y/N went over to the counter to order another
round of milkshakes “See? They liked you,” Jughead said, grinning. “I told you they would.”
Y/N chuckled softly, still feeling the adrenaline of meeting Jughead's gang friends . “I wasn’t sure how they would react..”
“They seem protective of you,” Y/N noted, glancing back at the group laughing and engaged in conversation. “Like they’d do anything for you.”
“Yeah, they would. And so would I,” Jughead replied, his expression suddenly serious. He leaned closer to Y/N. “You mean a lot to me. I want you to know that.”
Y/N leaned in, their lips brushing against Jughead's in a brief yet tender kiss. It was soft and sweet, a promise of something more, something real. As he pulled away, Y/N smiled, his initial nerves completely fading away.

Serpent-Cide (3/?)
Tumblr media
(Part One|Part Two|Part Three|TBA|)
(Unedited) (Switches POV’s a lot in this chapter, Sweet Pea is a little shit, Sweet Pea is big boy 6’3 and I won't let y'all forget that😈, Reader is having a moment y'all.)
Sweet Pea was a mess.
I mean that in a bad way, not the cute fun way that most people say it when talking about someone.
I mean he was a mess, a walking nightmare and possibly a live train wreck. Being forced to show him around was one of the worst things that could have happened to me. I had way better things to do then stay with him. At this point it was almost like babysitting. If babysitting included walking around school with a MAN, not a boy, a man who was bigger then half the student body.
Not only was he huge but he also had a mouth on him. While most of the time he was quiet, the other half he was not. He chose to quietly pick and mess with anyone and anything he chose. If something caught his eye at just the right time, he was going of his way to mess with it. If it was a person, he was digging at them. Harassing them for a moment before pulling away and walking off.
Laughing and snickering at something. It was very apparent that he knew when to shut his mouth, and sometimes he didn't which dug into my nerves.
Just like his voice, his verbal altercations were deep and quick. His comebacks were sharp and were always on the tip of his tongue. He knew how to get on someone's bad side at the drop of a hat. I felt like I was extremely lucky because he didn't get himself into too much shit.
He loomed over me as we walked the halls. At first I didn't really understand what he was doing. I thought he would walk next to me to try and show some kind of dominance, like he didn't need me to help him around the school. His outburst earlier that day made me feel like he would want to one-up me, in his own way. Maybe he would even jump ahead of me and try to get to his class quicker. That wasn't the case as we walked to our first period.
He decided he was going to try and walk behind me the whole way there.
Almost trying to ride my ass the whole time. I swear he almost stepped on the back of my shoes a few times. I tried my best not to look back at him, feeling like that might piss him off or earn me some other kind of outlash like before. The whole time I could feel his presence behind me. It felt like pin pricks along my back which made me twitch a little in my step. Was he doing it on purpose I had no idea. But it was slowly rubbing me the wrong way. I
didn't know how long I could take it.
“So when's lunch? I'm already starting to get bored of this place.” Sweet Pea's voice echoed from behind me as he kicked at my seat.
I could feel my teeth grind in the back of my mouth.
We were about three periods at this point. I could tell he was already starting to lose what little focus he had. Most people probably couldn't tell if not for his loud complaining. Most people would see it as him complaining, to me he was just whining. That's all he had done all three classes, it didn't help that he kept trying to sit as close to me as possible.
I had no idea why seeing as all he did was whine.
I notice very quickly his little quirks, the ones that showed as he started to fall down the hole of boredom.
The way his foot would tap ever so slightly, the jiggle of his leg. He would pick at his knuckles to the point he had small scratches, barely drawing blood. They were pinkish and red by the end of second period. I honestly wondered if he even noticed it, if he felt his nails dig into his own skin. I was a little surprised when I watched his dig his nails into the set of dog tags he wears around his neck.
At some point I was scared he was going to try and put them in his mouth like a child. Luckily he didn't and only rubbed his nails and fingertips along the old metal plates.
Suddenly I heard a loud sound of popping from behind me. I felt my eyes twitch.
He was popping his knuckles.
I felt my face grow a little flushed. Although I had noticed the marks on his knuckles, I hadn't really taken a moment to look at his hands very well. I wonder what they looked like. I could only imagine they matched his body. Large and stronger to match his towering frame. He wasn't overly bulky but more so tall and thick muscles.
Now I felt even worse, why was I trying to think about his possible muscles under that stupid black t-shirt and serpent jacket.
I almost snapped the poor pencil in my hand.
“Helllloooo??” his voice boomed.
“When the bell rings, God can you shut up for five minutes.” I hissed, not even trying to turn around to look at him. I could feel his eyes burning into the back of my skull at this point. I could almost feel the way his foot slowly came to a stop. The movement dying down in seconds. I felt him before I could hear him. The breathing on my neck, right by my ear.
“So is the food here good or it just as shitty as Southside High-”
The sound of the shrill bell rang through the class. He ever so slightly pulled back. Leaving only warm breath fanning over my ear for a few seconds. Students hurried to grab their things and rush out of the cramped classroom. The teacher tried her best to slow them down but failed. Most of them piled out of the room, talking loudly and pushing each other to leave.
Quickly I packed my stuff away in my bag before turning around to find Sweet Pea already ready to go. His dark eyes lazily watch me as I shove my bag up onto my shoulder. We stare at each other for a good minute, until I realize he's waiting for me to walk in front of him.
Walking out of the room and make our way down to the lunch room. Sweet Pea is hot on my trail the whole time.
The hallway was usually one of the worst parts of my day as I would have to wade through the multiple crowds. Today seems a little better, most likely due to Sweet Pea’s presence. People slowly make way for him as he walks closer to me. For once I don't mind the way he sticks close to my back. It's almost like the whole hallway parts just for him.
“They like this every day or is it just because it's me?” he asks as we move passed the sea of judgmental eyes. The sudden urge to crack a joke came up but soon stopped.
“I wish. Maybe if they always acted like this I wouldn't hate coming down this hallway.” I wanted to tell him the truth. Going down this hallway every day was excruciating most of the time. If you were lucky no one would notice you, meaning you could get around everyone. Most days you were stuck or caught by some of the jocks or maybe one of the cheerleaders.
Sometimes it was just shoves and pushes. Other times it was getting your books or bag thrown in a garbage can on a whim.
Worst even, getting beat on by someone bigger than you for a laugh.
I stopped at that you thought as we made our way into to lunch room. It was packed with both the old and new students trying to get in line to get food. Almost all the tables were completely filled. My eyes were trained on the crowd of students as we both stood in line. Trying to spot the tale tale top of a special beanie. Not seeing it I could only guess that Jughead had made his way outside to grab a table.
The line for food slowly started to go down as the minutes ticked by. Sweet Pea was next to me as we grabbed our lunches. He stuffed his plate full of just about everything the lunch line was offering. I didn't question it with how big the guy was. His height factor reflects how much he needs to keep up with his growth.
We made our way out of the lone with no issue and walked outside towards some of the outdoor tables.
Breathing a sigh of relief I spotted Jughead and his little group. No surprise that none of the original vroho was sitting at the table with him, just Tori and Fang. Sweet Pea passed me, slamming his tray down next to Fang with a loud crash. Fang flinched a little which made Sweet Pea laugh and slap him on the shoulder hard, making him rock a little. Both of them chuckled as Sweet Pea finally sat down. Jughead looked at the two before turning his gaze to me.
I gave a small wave before turning around and heading inside.
The quiet uncrowded library was calling my name.
—————————
Sweet Pea didn't really know what to think about Reader at first.
For a split second, he felt just a little bad about yelling at her when they first met. But walking into that school was hard, being surrounded by northsiders who wanted all of them dead. It didn't even matter if they were serpents or not they were still southsiders. They where all still on the northsiders shit list in his mind.
Maybe that's why when she approached Jughead he got defensive.
He had forgotten that Jughead went to school here, not everyone had a issue with him. Maybe the pack of serpents, but not once loved Jughead.
In that moment it didn't matter that she was smaller, chubbier and maybe just a little cute. She was still a northsider deciding to wall up to them. Her stance was lazy as she stood in front of Jughead, moments passed and he just snapped. Getting into her face and calling her out.
When she snapped right back at him he felt his heart jump.
_____________________________________
“Shes not coming over here is she?” Sweet Pea remarked as he looked to Jughead.
The girl never made her way over to them, he turned a little to watch her walk away and back into the school. His eyes briefly watched her figure disappear behind the large lunchroom doors. He turned back to the table to find Jugheas still gazing back at the doors, his eyes squinted.
“Reader would rather…..Reader is in her own little world of strange.” he words were bland and almost emotionless. That caused one of the boys eyebrows to raise. He stuffed a fry in his mouth as Fang replied “ Im getting the feeling she doesn't like us that much? It's not like I'm shocked or anything, I'm just stating the obvious here.” he laughs. Toni rolls her eyes at him and sits back a little.
Sweet Pea looked up at him as he chewed his food, with a full mouth he said “So she's a weirdo? Didn't know northsiders had them too, kinda figured you guys would weed them out or something.” he scooped up a fat glob of ketchup with his fries. Toni shrugged “ Dont want to sound like a downer but I agree with Sweets on this.” Fang nodded along side her. Jughead let out a small sigh. His eyes fully coming back into focus with them.
“Listen Reader just has her own thing going on. She's one of the only people I know in this school that genuinely doesn't like being around people, in others business for that matter. She doesn't like messing with people so long as they don't mess with her. She's crafty too, I'll tell you that.
Toni raised a brow and smirked, she poked the boy in his side.
“Does Jug have a little crush??” she almost giggled a little to go along with her sarcastic statement.
Jughead rolled his eyes “On Reader? No way, that would involve her letting me get in her space- shit even taking her time of day. I don't think she's ever let anyone even think about having a crush on her. You would actually have to know her to do all that.” he grimaced a little. Thinking about all the times the chubby girl had ditched him, snuck away from him, or straight up blew him off to go do something else.
Multiple times he asked for her help with paper while in the library together. If he asked to do them with her she refused, the next day she would just bring him a fully edited paper before wandering back off to who knows where. She was hardly ever up front and would rather stay in the shadows. Never to be looked upon, never asked to be anyone life lifeline.
“That's funny seeing as I've been up her ass all day during classes.” Sweet Pea smirked. He knew he was getting on the girl's nerves. He was actually enjoying it a little. Scratching at his neck a little he found Jughead just staring at him. Eyes were slightly wide as if he was in some kind of disbelief. Something inside him felt good to see the uptight guy so silently stunned.
“I thought I told you not to mess with her.”
“I did! Kinda? I couldn't help but mess with her just a little bit okay? Honestly I feel like you overdoing it when talking about her. I have only been around her for like half the day and she hasn't acted like anything you saying. Is she Moody? Oh yeah definitely. But is she so fidgety that she runs away at the slight poke? Nah. She is a pushover.” he rolled his eyes at the newest serpent. The or eyes meet for a short period of time.
Jughead was ever so slightly surprised at the sudden turn of events.
Reader was not a pushover by any means.
“All she did was hiss at me, like a pissed-off cat when I started bugging her. She didn't make any attempt to leave or ditch me. Yeah, she didn't talk to me unless I got her to but still. She wasn't a complete shut-in around me. And fuck man she's sarcastic. She's like you but on steroids.” he chuckled a little after swallowing a big bit of his food.
Jughead scoffed a little as he looked back at the school.
“Well if that's the case, we may have a new advantage at this school.”
The others all looked back at him.
Sweet Pea stopped eating for a moment, his eyes moving from Jug to slowly drifting to the school. His eyes followed the other boy's gaze.
Only time would tell what Jughead meant by that.

Masterlist.
Being part of the Southside you knew not to wander deserted streets only illuminated by the moonlight, alone. But going home from your job required you to do such, and most times you weren’t worried, because sporting the leather jacket that you did gave you a sense of power that helped ease your mind.
But this night felt different.
This night you couldn’t help but feel like someone was following you, the realization causing a chill to run down your spine.
Cautiously picking up your pace, you make it about half way through the alley that leads you home, when you hear a voice suddenly whisper, “I’m sorry,” and you feel pairs of hands grab at your arms and legs, pushing at you as they pin you to a wall.
“Whoa, what the fuck! Let me go!” You shout as you squirm, trying to get out of the tight hold your are in. “Get the hell off me!” You say and continue squirming, until you feel a hand tightly squeeze around your throat. “Pietro?” You whisper, voice breaking slightly.
Pietro was your best friend that pledged allegiance to the Southside’s biggest gang when you were 15, he was one of the few people that initiated with you.
Which is why you’re so stunned to see him there, a black hoodie on his head and a pair of black gloves on his hands to match.
As your eyes dart around your perpetrators, you recognize a few more faces that you initiated with or you were once very close with and you can’t help the tears that spring to your eyes, causing Pietro to look at everything except you.
But once you manage to make eye contact with the silver haired boy you can see that your old best friend wants to do anything but hurt you and knowing firsthand how severe the consequences can be if he declines hurting you, you give him a slight nod as if to say, it’s okay.
Instantly regretting your decision when you see your ex-lover come out of the shadows, a blade in her hand.
“Hey! Wait, wait. No, no!” You scream, kicking your legs as hard you can to no avail, thinking you were going to endure at least a simple beating. Realizing a little too late that was not the case.
“Hold her tight,” Vision grits, hands tightening on your legs, and once they manage to subdue you he gives Wanda the command, “now go ahead Wanda, cut! Take off that damn disgracing tattoo!” He all but growls and your eyes widen as you realize what is about to actually happen.
As Wanda begins slowly making her way towards you, she makes eye contact with you and the green eyes that stare back at you are full of pain and despair, and your heartbreaks in your chest before the blade that she wields starts cutting into your skin as a way to remove the tattoo you sport on your right arm that you got when you were initiated into the Southside, a tattoo that represented what gang you were in.
“Please, stop!” You yell at the top of your lungs, your scream piercing the air.
A scream so chilling it would probably make a murderer rethink a killing, a scream so piercing it could make anyone go deaf.
But Wanda doesn’t stop, she can’t stop, even as her entire being protests she continues slicing. She continues slicing until the art you were sporting is off your arm and with that they let you go, your limp body falling to the ground with a harsh thud.
Thinking you’re dead you hear their footsteps as they run away once they’re done with you, and as you’re lying there losing consciousness, you hear someone crying.
“I’m so sorry, my love” the voice sobs, “I didn’t want to hurt you. I really didn’t, but I had to,” they say and you feel a hand softly caress your face.
“Wanda, please, we need to go, they’re going to come back to make sure she’s dead if we don’t leave right now,” another voice says.
“She’s dying now Piet, she is losing way too much blood! If we leave her here like this I won’t be able to live with myself if she dies,” the brunette sobs and Pietro quickly jumps into action, ripping a part of your shirt off to make a makeshift tourniquet to put around your arm to temporarily stop the bleeding.
“There Wanda, it’s the best I can do,” your old best friend says softly.
“She’s going to hate me Piet,” the brunette says affectedly.
“I know sestra, I know, she’ll hate us both,” he sighs sadly. “But we knew how grave the stakes could be when we pledged allegiance to the Northside, there is nothing we can do now but move forward. She may never understand why we did what we did, but she knows what these obligations mean to us, she too has her own.”
Wanda nods slightly, tears pouring down her face as she continues the caresses on your face a little while longer before completely pulling away, “I know she’ll understand why this happened, but by doing this to her, we are literally declaring war on the Southside P. There will definitely be hell to pay. I just hope she’s not in the crossfire, I’ve done enough damage today, I’d hate to see her get hurt even more than what has happened right now. I still love her you know,” you hear Wanda say.
“Well if you love her and still care about her then please, let’s go,” the silver haired boy pleads, “they’re going to get suspicious as to why we’re not with them and they’ll come back Wanda, they will, and if they see she’s still alive they might actually kill her, so we really need to go,” Pietro says anxiously.
Those being the last words you hear before their footsteps depart.
As you lay there still losing significant amounts of blood even with the tourniquet on your arm, you black out for a few minutes. Only waking up when you hear more footsteps making their way towards you and you begin dragging yourself on the ground, afraid that the Northsiders have come back to make sure you’re dead or that they’re back to do their job and actually kill you.
But when you hear a familiar voice call out your name, you know you're slightly safe and it isn't until you feel arms wrap around your weak frame and you take in the scent of a familiar cologne that you allow yourself to relax.
“Help! Nat, Steve, Tony! Please get in here and help!” A panicked Bucky yells, as he and Sam set you down on a nearby table, and in come the rest of the Southside’s strongest gang.
“Holy fuck, what happened?” You hear Yelena ask.
“Oh my god, Y/N!” Kate gasps.
“Give her space,” Natasha and Steve yell.
“Jesus Christ,” Tony says entering the room, “what in the hell happened?”
“I-I don’t know,” Bucky stutters, his hands shaking as he sees them full of your blood, “Sam and I were coming back home from the bar when we saw her bleeding out on the floor, we picked her up and came here as soon as possible,” the tall man says.
“Okay, it’s okay, calm down. Let me get a good look at her and I’ll call you guys back in a bit.” Steve says, handing the man a towel as they all walk out of the room.
While in the other room Kate and Yelena can’t stop their pacing due to the extreme worry they feel about not knowing your state. As the rest of the group sit and wait to be called in by their other friends and after several minutes of waiting Steve comes into the room.
“Hey guys, she’s stable, whoever put that makeshift tourniquet on her basically saved her life. You guys are more than welcome to come in and see her,” he says and as soon as the words leave his mouth all at once they go inside the room in which you are in.
“Hey Y/N/N,” Natasha whispers as she removes sweaty hair out of your eyes.
“Hey Natty,” you smile softly.
“Doll, what happened?” Bucky questions.
“It was the Northside,” you breathe and you swear you can see the moment everyone goes tense.
“Who exactly?” Sam asks angrily.
“I-I didn’t see their faces, it was too dark. I was just able to see their j-jackets,” you stutter.
“Bullshit Y/N!” Clint says, calling you out immediately, “who was it?”
“I-It was... Vision, Peter, America, and MJ,” you begin, listing off the names of the people that hurt you, but hesitating on mentioning two other names.
“And who else Y/N/N?” Yelena asks, eyes narrowing as she studies you, “I know you're holding back. Who else was there? Also, don’t even think about lying, we know you,” the girl says and you take in a deep breath.
“Please, don't make me do this," you whisper softly, voice full of emotion.
"Who else hurt you sweetie? We need to know, because they need to pay for what they did," Natasha whispers just as soft, her hand holding your own tenderly.
"Nat please, I love her," you say, tears rolling down your cheeks but nevertheless providing the names they are looking for, "Wanda. Wanda and Pietro also did this to me,” you say as you cast your eyes downward in shame and fear.
“Son of a bitch!” Yelena yells, kicking a nearby stool down, “are you kidding me?! The Maximoff twins did this you?! Oh, they are dead! Do you hear me? They are so dead!” She says, an anger welling in her eyes like you've never seen before.
“I’m with Yelena, they are dead! They want to mess with one of our own, I say we all go over there and kick their asses! Because this means war!” Kate says and everyone except Steve and Tony nod their head.
“No,” Steve begins, “we can’t do that,” the older man says calmly.
“What the hell do you mean Steve! So what? We’re just supposed to roll over and let this happen?” Bucky questions angrily.
“No Buck, we are not going to roll over. We are going to proceed with caution,” Steve continues just as calmly.
“Like hell! If we don’t do something now, they are going to think we are weak, and we are not weak! We can’t let them think we don’t care enough about our members to lie down and take this attack!” Clint yells and the rest of the gang start agreeing.
“Silence!” Tony yells, causing the members to seize their uproar, “Steve is right, we must proceed with caution. It is not ideal, I know, but we must,” he says. “I promise you, we will get our revenge. This heinous act of violence against the kid hurts us just as much as it hurts you. We are a family, we watch after each other so I will make sure we sort this out. But for now, our main priority is Y/N's health, we are so lucky she is here with us right now, so please, all of you go get some rest. It has been an emotional night. But I ask you, reserve this anger, reserve it for when we want to take action against these cowards.”
“As much as I hate to admit it," Natasha begins, "they're right. We are not thinking straight. We are thinking irrationally because we are angry, rightfully so. But we need a proper course of action so we can execute our plans, so for now let’s let Y/N rest, she’s endured enough tonight, goodnight.” Natasha says with finality and the gang huff but nonetheless oblige.
Once all but the three founding members have left, you look to Natasha, Steve and Tony, gratefully. “Thank you guys, for getting them to rationalize, I appreciate it,” you say softly, a small smile making it's way to your face.
“No problem Y/N. But please know, we do not take this attack on you lightly. I know you still love Wanda and care for Pietro, but this act of violence warrants a war, so be prepared for that. What they did to you today is only the beginning, a warning of what’s to come and I know you have history with the twins, but they knew what it meant when they agreed to do this to you and they will have to pay,” Steve says softly and you nod sadly, “now get some rest kid. We’ll see you tomorrow morning, we’re just so glad you’re okay,” he says a smile gracing his features as Natasha moves forward to place a soft kiss on your forehead and Tony nods at you with a small smile on his face.
Wanda, your ex-lover, now turned enemy has no idea what’s in store for her.

lip gallagher x northside OC (Daisy) summary: in which lip could never see himself falling for a girl from the northside
part one of ?

warnings: swearing, smoking word count: 3098
▮▮▮▮▮▮▯▯▯▯▯▯▯▯
Lip had no idea why a girl from the northside attended a shitty public school in the southside. And quite frankly, he couldn't care less. He had enough shit going on in his life, he didn't need to add thinking about some entitled priss onto that list.  She smiled constantly, and never seemed to get upset or let the intimidating southside area scare her. She was a privileged girl, anyone would assume so, and for that reason, Lip decided that he didn't like her.
After all, "All northsiders are the same"
Lip had gone freshman and sophomore year without interacting with the girl once and so far, in junior year, he had maintained it. It wasn't like he was actively trying to ignore her. But he wasn't exactly displeased their paths had never met. All he knew of the girl was that she was from the northside and her name. Daisy.
And he planned to keep it that way. Lip didn't care for people, his friends at school consisted of his brother Ian and Mandy Milkovich. He was too good for all the other incompetent assholes in their school, so not knowing the northside priss didn't drastically affect him and his day.
That was until his plan got screwed over.
⋆ ★
It wasn't a secret that Ian and Lip shared everything with each other, but there was one thing Ian didn't feel the need to mention. He and Daisy were friends. They don't know how it happened, but they were both late to their respective classes and had, quite literally, bumped into each other in the hall, which somehow resulted in a friendship.
However, although they had been friends for quite some time now, Ian didn't actually know that much about her, she was quite a private person.
Ian, Mandy and Lip were doing what they usually did at lunch, smoking in the boy's bathroom, laughing and spending the 30 minutes of learning free time they get together by chatting and not taking life seriously.
"Hey Lip, do you think you could do me a favour?" Ian asks, after the laughter that occurred after a joke that Lip had cracked died down.
"Depends what it is," The older boy replies, taking a long drag from his joint.
"I have this friend in your year, she needs help with chemistry,"
"What does she need?"
"An A, she's got a C at the moment."
"Who is it?"
"Daisy Bennett," Ian replied almost hesitantly, he wasn't ignorant to the rumours and opinions people held of his friend, and he didn't know Mandy's or Lip's view on the girl, all he had heard was Mandy mention she liked the girl's pristine black combat boots, Mandy's being a size too small and covered in scuffs and mud.
"Wait, Little Miss Priss? Why would you be friends with her?"
"Did she bribe you with her daddy's money?" Mandy piped in, smirking at the younger boy.
"No," Ian snapped back at them, "We just bumped into each other once and, I don't know we clicked, listen she's a nice girl and she needs some help with something, if you don't do it for her do it for me,"
Lip looked at his younger brother for a few moments, Ian never had that many friends, he got on with people, but he wouldn't call anyone, other than Lip and Mandy, his friends, so who knew what was so special about this girl. He was protective of his brother, and part of him just wanted to meet her so that he could make sure she wasn't going to hurt him.
"Fine whatever, tell her to be at ours at 6, also whatever I normally charge, she pays double,"
"What why?"
"She's from the northside Ian! I'm sure she could spare a few bucks to give to some southside lowlifes!"
Once Lip finishes speaking, the dull sound of the bell goes off, evident in its sound that it hasn't been fixed in years. The trio are quick to dispose of the evidence of them smoking before gathering their stuff and making their way out the bathroom, Ian helping Mandy down from the window still she was sitting on. Lip looked towards his brother one last time as he and Mandy walked away from the bathroom towards their respective classrooms, one thought on his mind.
What the hell am I getting myself into?
⋆ ★
After a long and gruelling day, where the same old boring teachers, taught the same boring shit for yet another year, it was nearly time for Daisy to be at the Gallaghers. One thing that Daisy's dad was keen to get into her at a young age was being punctual, she regularly arrived early for things, and was never more than 3 minutes late. So here she was, walking up the steps to the Gallagher steps at 5:59.
Daisy was nervous about this study session, not just because she would be tutored by someone she had never met before, she had seen Lip around, but never actually spoken to him, she was also nervous because she had been told stories by Ian about his family and how crazy they can be. She both knew exactly and had no idea what to expect.
She hesitated a moment before knocking on the door, rocking back and forth on her heels slightly, holding her laptop, textbook and notebook close to her chest.
A few moments later, the door swings open, revealing a young, redheaded girl, who looked up at the older girl curiously.
This must be Debbie
"Who are you?" She asked, looking at the girl almost matching the older girl's stance.
"Uh hey, I'm Daisy," Daisy replies, smiling at the shorter girl, "Is Lip in?"
"Yeah, why?"
"Oh, he's helping me study,"
"Debbie who's at the door?" An older voice asks, coming up and standing behind the young Gallagher, this woman was a lot taller than her younger sister, she had on a grey striped top and had long brown hair that looked somewhere between half brushed and neatly put together.
Fiona
"Who are you?" Fiona asked, her tone changing slightly, looking Daisy up and down taking in her appearance. Daisy clearly stuck out like a sore thumb in this neighbourhood, her clothes were neat and put together, with a preppy, private school uniform feel around them. Daisy could tell that Fiona was judging her, she really wanted to be wanted by the Gallaghers, especially the matriarch Fiona, because without her approval, she'd never be allowed near her friend Ian again.
"Hey, I'm Daisy,  Lip's helping me with Chemistry."
"You're Ian's friend right?" Fiona said suspiciously, having heard the name Daisy thrown around by Ian occasionally, not remember much from what she heard, only that she was from the northside, but Fiona could guess that already.
"Yeah, I am, is he in?" Daisy answered, watching as Fiona gently pushed Debbie back into the house.
"No, he's at ROTC, so you're close huh?"
"Well- I guess, we don't have any classes together and he spends a lot of time with Lip and, oh what's her name," Dasiy takes a few seconds to think, "ah! Mandy Milkovich, but we do homework together in the library after school sometimes."
"Too good for Lip and Mandy then?" Fiona accused, she wasn't intentionally trying to make the girl uncomfortable, but she, like most Southsiders, didn't take kindly to northsiders showing up around their area, to anyone else, a northsider befriending a Southsider might be considered 'Charity work', and if this preppy priss thought that Ian was going to be charity work, she had another thing coming.
"Oh no, not at all, they actually seem pretty cool, I just assume I won't be welcome, people at school tend to not want me around," Daisy answered honestly, not even letting her smile falter.
At that moment, Fiona felt bad for the girl in front of her, in their short interaction, she seemed nice enough, Fiona had nothing to judge her for other than she was from the northside, and that wasn't a lot to go off of. But clearly, the others at school believed that was reason enough to completely isolate the girl.
"Ok, ok," Fiona muttered, turning her body so she was facing the inside of the house, "Lip! Your friend's here to study!" She yelled into the house, surely making everyone in the house jump.
After a few moments pass, the two girls hear the sound of heavy footsteps trudging down the stairs and towards them. Lip rounded the corner towards them, not looking particularly impressed, muttering something along the lines of 'she's not my friend' to Fiona.
He inhaled slightly before acknowledging Daisy, "Hey, come on in." He sighs, not even giving her a moment to reply before making his way into the house ahead of her as if he was trying to get away from her and get her off his tail as quickly as possible.
Fiona stepped aside, allowing Daisy to step out from the cold Chicago air to the slightly less cold Gallagher house, clearly, the heating was either broken or they had it down really low because of the bills.
Daisy quickly followed after Lip, who was already halfway up the stairs, not having time to acknowledge the others who were sitting on the living room couch. Daisy just managed to slip into the boy's bedroom after Lip, which was lucky on her part, because if she hadn't caught up as quickly as she did, Lip probably would have slammed the door in her face.
Lip knocked a few stuff off his desk, making room for the two of them as Daisy stood awkwardly in the middle of the room, still hugging her stuff close to her body, as she took in her surrounding. Their room wasn't small by any means, if one kid was living in it, then this room would actually be quite big, the thing is by the number of beds, there were clearly three people living in this room, who Daisy assumed was Lip, Ian and their little brother Carl, giving off the illusion that the room was much smaller than it actually was.
The room was messy as well, all the blankets were randomly bunched up on the beds, clothes were on the floor, and random papers were all over the desk under the cabin bed (which Dasiy assumed must be Lips due to the assortment of space posters and the generally 'smart kid' vibe said corner of the room gave off) but Lip was just carelessly shoving them into the already full drawer at the side of the desk.
There was another thing that Daisy's dad had drilled into her at a young age, neatness, especially if there was a guest, even if the guest wasn't even going to see her room! It still had to be spotless with not even a hair band on the floor. She had also been told how to be a polite guest and a polite host, but all it had really taught her was she was supposed to respect others as a given, whereas any respect for her had to be earned.
"Yo, just gonna stand there forever or do you actually wanna get shit done?" Lip asks, breaking Daisy's train of thought, making her realize that he was now sitting down at a 'clean' desk, staring at her expectantly.
"Yeah, sorry," she apologised, taking a seat next to him and putting her stuff down in a neat pile on the desk.
Lip grabs her notebook and starts flicking through it, Daisy honestly couldn't tell if he was even paying attention to anything in there, "So what's the quiz on?"
"Uh Section C of the textbook,"
"When's the quiz?"
"Two days"
"What don't you get?" Lip asks boredly, now flicking through her textbook to section C, seeing what he considered pretty easy content.
"Um, any of it?" Daisy says hesitantly, scratching the back of her neck slightly, dropping her gaze to the textbook when she notices the unimpressed look on Lip's face.
"Seriously? This shit is so simple!" Lip almost laughed.
"Yeah well not all subjects come naturally, I'm sure I can get there if maybe it was explained a different way, but Mr Gilbert refuses to explain it any other way because 'if you can't do it my way, maybe you're just destined to fail'," Daisy defends. She wasn't a dumb student at all, she excelled in subjects like English Literature and History. But there were some subjects like maths and science that she just couldn't do naturally and needed extra help with, luckily her maths teacher offered that, Mr Gilbert, however, did not.
"Whatever let's just go from the beginning and work our way through." Lip sighs, picking up two pens, handing one to her, before reading out the first paragraph of the textbook.
⋆ ★
The two sixteen-year-olds had been studying for about an hour, Lip giving Daisy a few practice questions and using the time to get his old, tattered maths textbook out to do some work himself. Turns out, doing work with someone else in the room, who was also focused was actually a good study method.
"So," Lip said, deciding to spark a conversation with the other, his curiosity getting the better of him, "Daddy couldn't hire you your own private chemistry teacher?"
Daisy huffed in slight amusement, tapping her pen against her notebook as she tried to both focus on a conversation and figure out a particularly hard question that Lip had written, "Nope, he doesn't even know I'm failing,"
"Last time I check a C wasn't a fail, for someone who isn't good at chemistry naturally, it's decent"
"Not good enough for him," Daisy sighed, "Anything below an A is a failure in his eyes,"
"Shitty dad huh?" Lip asks, finally looking over at her.
"I guess yeah, he just wants me to do well" She replied shortly not giving Lip much more to go off of. Lip was normally good at reading people, but Daisy was difficult. He could now tell that her politeness was genuine, which surprised him, and also that she wasn't just using this study session as a way to sleep with him. This also surprised him, because he had had offers from other girls to study who would happen to have 'left their wallet at home' but repay him with a hummer.  Daisy wanted to study, despite clearly not enjoying the subject.
"How come you go to a shitty southside school then?" Lip asks after a few moments.
"Well my dad wanted me to go to some private school somewhere, didn't matter where he just wanted me to get the highest quality education, my grandma didn't want me too far away though, so she wanted me to go to a school in walking distance to her house, our school was the only one that was a 10-minute walk," Daisy answered.
"Your grandma lives in the southside?"
"For someone who doesn't like northside people, you seem to ask a lot of questions," Daisy says, looking up and smiling, finding herself looking right into his eyes. They were very pretty, she couldn't deny that.  She wouldn't deny that "It's getting late, I should go." She sighed gathering her stuff.
"Yeah, uhh, tell me how the test goes." Lip says, standing up and walking out of the room with her, unintentionally walking her to the door.
"Oh, so you care how I do?" Daisy teased, smiling at him with a smile that made a strange feeling happen in Lip's chest, one he didn't quite understand.
"I care, that my tutoring works, I could use the ego boost," Lip smirks.
"Ahh of course." Daisy shakes her head, reaching the door with him, "Oh um here!" She says, reaching into the pocket of her jacket, and pulling out a fifty-dollar bill.
"Oh no it's fine," Lip brushes off without even thinking about it, "I only charge thirty anyway, that's way too much"
"I know, Ian told me you'd charge me extra, wasn't expecting you to deny the money though, but I'm serious take it,"
"Listen maybe I'd take the thirty but fifty is too much."
Daisy rolled her eyes, and forced the note into his hand, "Thirty for the help, and twenty for a new maths textbook, yours looks like it will fall apart any moment," Daisy smiles, before rushing out of the house. Leaving Lip no room to argue.
⋆ ★
Lip didn't know when in the day Daisy's test was, but it was now lunch and he was yet to see her, not that he wanted to. He just wanted to know if he wasted an hour of his evening for nothing or not.
He, Ian and Mandy were walking to their last classes of the day, all of their classes being in the same general direction, when Daisy appears from nowhere, tackling Lip into a giant bear hug, winding him for a split second. Ian and Mandy look at the pair wide-eyed, the girl's strange act also getting the attention of a few passing students.
In complete shock, Lip didn't have the time to process what she was doing before she spoke, "You are amazing!" She celebrates, pulling away from and smiling brightly at Lip as he desperately tries to ignore the pounding in his chest.
"I'm assuming this means you got a good score?" Lip asks, the trace of a smile on his face, trying not to give the wrong impression to Mandy and Ian, who were watching the interaction almost eagerly.
"I got a 91/100! Just scraped it! Honestly, Lip thank you so much!" Daisy said breathlessly, her bright smile refusing to leave her face.
"Yeah uh, no problem," Lip chuckled slightly, the dull tone of the bell going off, indicating that class was about to start, "Um, I'll see you around?"
"Yeah, definitely," Daisy blushes, offering Lip one last thank you before turning away and walking towards her class, a slight bounce in her step.
Lip was so in his own thoughts, that he didn't notice he was watching fondly after her, thinking about the strange girl that, he had to admit, piqued his interest.
"She's not too bad huh?" Ian smirked at his brother, breaking the older boy from his thoughts.
"Shut up," Lip scoffed, punching his brother as the trio started to walk to their classes again, not answering Ian out loud, but he couldn't even deny his own thoughts anymore;
Not bad at all Ian, she really is something... something good

Drag You Down
Jughead Jones x Reader
After a fight, Jughead is MIA. You find out he’s been hanging at the White Wyrm and you go to confront him. A heated argument leads to unexpected confessions.
The Whyte Wyrm was the last place you ever expected to find yourself. The dive bar, filled with smoke, thumping music, and the Serpents who called it home, felt like the antithesis of everything you were. But tonight, you had no choice. Jughead was MIA, and after the fight you’d had, you needed to find him—needed to make things right, even if it meant braving the lion’s den.
You pulled your jacket tighter around you as you pushed through the door, feeling the weight of every set of eyes that landed on you. You stuck out like a sore thumb in your soft sweater and sneakers, the good girl walking into the Serpents’ den. But you didn’t care about any of that. All you cared about was finding Jughead. He hadn’t answered your calls, hadn’t responded to your texts, and the empty feeling in your chest only grew when Toni told you he’d been hanging out at the Whyte Wyrm for days, avoiding everyone—including you.
You scanned the room, your eyes darting through the crowd, but there was no sign of Jughead’s familiar beanie or brooding presence. Instead, a tall, muscular Serpent caught sight of you, a predatory smirk spreading across his face as he swaggered over, blocking your view.
“Hey there, sweetheart,” he drawled, his eyes roving over you with an unnerving hunger. “You look a little lost. What’s a pretty girl like you doing in a place like this?”
You took a step back, trying to stay calm, though your heart was racing. “I’m not here for trouble. I’m just looking for someone.”
He leaned in closer, the scent of alcohol clinging to his breath as he sneered. “Well, you found me. How about I keep you company instead?”
You tried to sidestep him, but he moved with you, his presence imposing and uncomfortably close. “I’m looking for Jughead,” you said firmly, hoping the name would deter him. “Do you know where he is?”
The Serpent chuckled, a dark, mocking sound that made your skin crawl. “Oh, Jones? He’s not worth your time, princess. But I might be.”
He reached out, his fingers brushing your arm in a way that made you flinch, and panic flared in your chest. You opened your mouth to tell him to back off, but suddenly, Jughead’s voice cut through the noise, sharp and laced with fury.
“Get your hands off her.”
You turned to see Jughead standing there, his jaw clenched and eyes burning with a protective anger that sent the Serpent scrambling back a step. Jughead’s leather jacket hung off his shoulders, the Serpent emblem glaring in the low light, and his fists were clenched, ready for a fight.
The Serpent sneered but backed off, holding up his hands. “Relax, Jones. Didn’t know she was yours.”
“She’s not,” Jughead snapped, but his eyes flicked to you, and the tension in his eyes made you feel as though he hated saying those words. The Serpent slunk away, muttering under his breath, and Jughead turned his attention back to you, his gaze still simmering with anger.
“What the hell are you doing here?” Jughead demanded, his voice harsher than you’d ever heard it. “This isn’t your place.”
You swallowed, meeting his stare head-on. “I could ask you the same thing. You disappeared, Jug! You haven’t answered my calls or texts, and after our fight, I didn’t know if—”
“If what?” Jughead cut in, his tone sharp, though there was a crack in his voice. “If I was okay? Why do you always do this, huh? Running into danger like it’s nothing, just to find me?”
His words stung, but you couldn’t hold back. “Because I care about you! I was worried, Jug. You just left, and I didn’t know if you were hurt or—”
“That’s exactly the problem!” he snapped, his voice rising. “You care too much, and you always put yourself in the middle of my messes. I’m in the Serpents now—I’m dealing with stuff you shouldn’t be part of, and I can’t keep watching you throw yourself into danger for me.”
“What about you? That’s real hypocritical coming from you.” You scoffed, motioning to your environment.
“I’m the serpent, not you. I don’t have a choice in this life! My father is FP Jones. The Serpents are in my blood. Don’t choose this because of me. I won’t let you put yourself in danger!” He grabbed a hold of your wrist, as if doing so would force reason into you.
You took a step closer, your frustration boiling over. “So what? You just shut me out? Push me away because you’re too scared of what might happen?”
Jughead’s face twisted with pain, his eyes searching yours as if trying to find the right words. “I’m scared because I don’t want you to be part of this. The Serpents, the fights—it’s not your world. I don’t want you dragged down into it because of me.”
You felt your heart ache at his admission, the walls Jughead always kept up cracking right in front of you. “I don’t care about any of that,” you said, your voice softer now, pleading. “I care about you, Jug. I’m here because I don’t want to lose you.”
Jughead looked at you, his expression a mix of anger, regret, and something deeper—something raw and vulnerable that he rarely let anyone see. “No. Don’t. Don’t say that. Don’t make this harder than it already is. I’m doing this for you. You may not see it now, but you’re meant for more than this. Don’t let me drag you down.” Tears welled in his beautiful blue eyes. Your heart cracked at the sight. You sighed, cupping his cheek in your palm.
“Juggy, you are not a heavy weight to bare. You can’t get rid of me that easily. You will not drag me down.” You caressed his cheek with your thumb and he leaned into your touch, shutting his eyes. “I want to be here. I want to be apart of your life, no matter what that involves.”
“I thought pushing you away would keep you safe,” he confessed, his voice breaking slightly. “But it’s killing me. It’s only been a few days and it’s eating me alive. I can’t keep pretending like you don’t mean everything to me.”
Your breath caught, and you felt the sting of tears in your eyes. Jughead’s confession hung in the air, heavy and real, and you stepped closer. “Then don’t push me away,” you whispered. “I’m not afraid of your world, Jug. I’m afraid of losing you.”
Jughead’s resolve shattered, and he pulled you into him, his lips crashing into yours in a kiss that was both desperate and full of longing. The kiss was an admission, all the words he couldn’t say poured into the way his hands cupped your face, his lips moving against yours with an intensity that made everything else fade away.
You kissed him back just as fiercely, your fingers tangling in his hair, pulling him closer as if you could erase every fight, every fear, with the touch of your lips. Jughead’s hands slid around your waist, holding you tight, anchoring you in the moment.
When you finally broke apart, your foreheads pressed together, Jughead’s thumb brushed your cheek, wiping away a stray tear. His eyes were soft, filled with the vulnerability he’d been hiding for so long. “I’m sorry,” he murmured, his voice thick with emotion. “I’m sorry I tried to push you away. I just… I love you too much to see you hurt because of me.”
You smiled through the tears, resting your hand over his heart, feeling the steady beat beneath your palm. “You’re not dragging me down, Jug. We’ll face this together. Whatever comes, I’m not going anywhere.”
Jughead pulled you into his arms, holding you as if letting go would break him. In the noisy, chaotic heart of the Serpents’ lair, surrounded by the life Jughead had tried to keep you from, you knew that no matter what dangers lay ahead, you’d face them together.

Begin Again
Sweet Pea X Reader Oneshot
Synopsis: Sweet Pea is longing to have you be his again after a drunken mistake he made a few years ago.
A/N: Short-ish, fluffy.
----------------------------
“Pea, do we have to do this every day?”
“Only until you say yes YNN” the tall Serpent practically towered over you as he leaned across the Whyte Wyrm bar top where you polished glasses.
“SP, give it a break, you're sounding desperate” Fangs smirked at his best friends daily ritual, sliding onto a barstool next to him.
“I'm just looking for another chance is all”
“Pea one of these days I'm gonna roll my eyes so hard at you I'm gonna go blind” you gently patted his shoulder smilingly before moving down the bar to take another Serpents drink order. Jugheads birthday party getting into the full swing of things.
“You've worked so hard to get back to this place SP, are you sure you want to risk losing it all again”
“Fangs, I just know we're supposed to be more but maybe it's time to just call it” Sweet Pea watched your outline drift into the sea of Serpents as you moved from behind the bar with a tray of drinks. You had known one another for over two decades, raised in the shadow of this very bar. Partners in crime with a healthy dose of one-sided outwards pining but mutual feelings. The two of you had dated before, it crashing and burning almost two years ago.
Sweet Pea scanned the room, his gaze landing on Veronica Lodge, laughing with her Riverdale counterparts.
“Ugh I know that look” Fangs followed his glance before taking a swig from his drink.
“What?”
“That's the, let me jump on the next thing that moves and pretend it's yn because that's who I really want but can't have, look”
“Sounds like it needs a rebrand” Sweet Pea chuckled in return before pushing off the bar and strolling over to reacquaint himself with the raven haired girl boss. He squished into the booth alongside the Northsiders and began to work his magic on Veronica as you rejoined Fangs at the bar, apron and drink in hand.
“Finished for the night YNN?”
“Yeah, right on time to watch that trainwreck” you plastered a smile across your face that didn't quite reach your eyes as you took a deep drink from your glass and threw the apron around the other side of the bar.
“I know you want him back and you're scared what happened…will happen again”
“Woah Dr. Fogarty when's the daytime advice show airing?” you laughed as Fangs joined you. Fangs passed his drink from his hand to yours, taking your empty glass. You tore your eyes from the booth and landed them on Archie Andrews, back fresh from active duty. He moved through the crowd heading back to his friends from the bathroom.
“Oh god, not that look”
“What?”
“That's the, let me jump on the next thing that moves and distract myself from the deep unresolved feelings I have towards Sweet Pea, look”
“A rebrand should be considered” he laughed at you and your similarities to Sweet Pea. He considered a career in behavioural psychology as you sprung from your chair with a fresh drink and swanned over to Archie.
The night took a very drunk turn from there, for all parties involved. Dancing and drinking and shameless flirting were heavy themes of the night. You felt Archie's hands trace your hips as you both swayed to the music growing in volume. Throwing your head back laughing at whatever Archie said, his mouth quickly attached to your neck. Your surprise turned to rising pleasure and then very quickly to shock as the red head was suddenly pulled back from you.
“Hey!”
“Hey yourself Andrews!” Sweet Pea stepped between the both of you, pushing Archie backwards by the chest.
“Sweet Pea leave it” you tried to pull him by the shoulder back only to have him shrug you off and whip around back to you.
“You're being stupid YN” you scoffed at him as Archie began to give out again. Sweet Pea whirled around, his bare fist meeting the side of Archie's jaw. Fangs launched himself from the bar, Jughead following suit, attempting to separate the two of them as they began to brawl. Your head started to swirl from the alcohol, fed up with the boys in front of you, you separated from them, and out the door.
You made it a little way along the road up from the bar as Sweet Peas drunken gait met you.
“YN, where are you going!?”
“Away from you!” You shouted back, matching his tone. He reached you quickly, catching your wrist and turning you to face him.
“Let go of me!”
“YN when are we going to stop pretending you don't still have feelings for me!” His wild eyes searched yours for answers, wishing to not hear what you said next.
“When are you going to stop pretending you didn't hurt me!” You snatched back your wrist and stomped in the direction of home again.
“YN, that was a mistake, a stupid, drunken mistake, she didn't mean anything to me-”
“-then why'd you do it?” You suddenly turned again, bumping into his chest. The street lights cut through the night as you bite back alcohol induced tears.
“I… I don't have any excuses. I've said I'm sorry but I'll say it again, I'll never stop saying it. I made out with that girl. I did and I have never not regretted it, I'm sorry” you looked into his genuine eyes as they dampened with tears. He caught hold of your shoulders and stepped in closer.
“YN, I am sorry. I'm so sorry. I know I said I'd be happy to have you in my life even just as a friend, that I'd make peace with whatever scraps you'd give me but….I need you. I need you to be mine again and I need you to need me” he gulped at the end of his confession and then leaned in to meet your lips. A flush of memories enveloped both of you, warm and comforting, familiar and pure. You separated again, dismay painting your face but not as much as Sweet Pea’s when the palm of your hand sailed across his face.
“That…That was for drunkenly kissing that girl the first night we went long distance” you then shoved him backwards, tears now streaming down your face as you gritted out “That…that was for once again getting behind the walls I built to keep you away” you grabbed the collar of his shirt then, hauling him back to you again. He went willingly, too dumbfounded to put up a fight. You pulled him down to meet your lips again prior to pushing him back, still holding his collar.
“And that…that was for making me want to try again” he gently lowered down your hands, keeping them in his. You rested your head off his chest, he dropped your hands and draped his arms over you, pulling you in. You both stood there for a long time in the glow of the street lights above you.
“Fangs owes me 100$”
“Why?” you laughed into him, reaching for his hand and pulling him into a walk again, not really sure what direction you were heading in.
“He said I'd never wear you down again, bet 100$ two years ago when we started being friends again”
“You owe me half of that” you smiled.
“I owe you everything

"Nice slut you got there, Andrews. Feel like sharing him?" A member of the Serpents grinned. Imagine their surprise when the son of Fred Andrews, King of the Southside Serpents, brought a pretty boy for the north side of Riverdale.
All eyes were on them as things like: drinks, pool, and arm wrestling were put on a temporary hold as they waited for Archie to respond. He gave them a mischievous smile. "Any other time, I'd happily share my slut with all the Serpents. Let them service everybody in Whyte Wyrm, but this one... he belongs to me."
They disappeared through another room, as Archie pushed Y/N into his dad's office in the back and made out with him on the desk.

Serpent-Cide (2/?)
Tumblr media
(Unedited) (IDK what to tag for this chapter.)
(Part One|Part Two|Part Three|TBA|)
Veronica’s gaze seemed to stare into my soul to a point thought she was trying to read my thoughts. Though she wouldn't find many at this point. My only thought in the moment was trying to find a way out of this shitty situation.
“Reader can you please come over here, I have a list of students for you as well. You will need to show them around for the next week or so until they are acclimated.” she said with a serious tone. She waved a piece of paper around, pointing it in my direction. I chewed on the inside of my cheek. A few drops of blood welled in my mouth as I looked at her, but I knew people where looking at me now. I could feel their states, from both sides of the room.
This is what I dreaded about even doing this stupid thing.
Now I really did wish I would have just skipped this whole gawk feast.
I gently clawed at my backpack straps and walked over to them. Archie stepped out of the way so I could reach the other girl. I quickly and quietly took the paper from her hand. She gave only a small almost emotionless smile. It was like there was nothing there. No real feeling behind the borderline dead smile. Girls like Veronica, like Cheryl, were really good at faking those little smiles.
Just looking at her like that made me shiver a little. I tried my best to suck it up and pretend I couldn't tell it wasn't real.
Cheryl scoffed from a foot or so away from us and rolled her eyes.
“Oh of course you guys had to get tubby involved in this mess. Can't believe you talked Little Miss Lard Ass into coming out and helping you with this little degenerate fest your having.” she laughed. It echoed through the hallway. A few people laughed alongside her but I didn't pay much attention to it. It wasn't the first time she or any of these other assholes made a fat joke about me. Wasn't the first and wouldn't be the last time she heard it out of one of their mouths. I simply rolled my eyes and kept reading the paper I was given.
“Yeahhhh Cheryl, Lard Ass is just a tad bit warmer than the soul-sucking succubus that you are these days. These people came to get an education, not to get their souls ripped from their bodies in order to feed your ever-growing ego.” I muttered. It was loud enough that she scoffed in pure shock. A few people around me laughed, Betty paled a little while Veronica smirked a little. Archie’s seemed to zip his lip at the comment.
I looked up from the paper to find Cheryl glaring at me, her face turing that classic cherry red of hers. She almost looked to be steaming which was a sight for sour eyes. Digging myself into a hole with one of the biggest people in town was horrible to think about, but at this point, I didn't want to think too hard about it. Staying out of the spotlight was my thing, but dipping my toe into some drama every once in a while to piss someone like Cheryl off was worth it.
Being able to infuriate a girl like Cheryl Blossom was a treat.
A small look of genuine confusion seemed to cross some of the newcomer's faces. I didn't expect them to understand how my words burned the other girl so badly. But they would eventually learn the food chain of the school. It was just a matter of time. I could only imagine what SouthSide High’s food chain looked like. It was probably even more nasty than the one here. We had to deal with rich kids and steroid junky jocks.
They had to deal with gangbangers and regular junkies.
Both Reggie and Cheryl made a loud exit as they grew board of their surroundings. Realizing their little game was getting old for the time being.
“Any of you do a thing out of line, I'll know about it.” She hissed. Soon enough she was storming up the stairs with a group of cheerleaders. Reggie smirked in my direction. I felt like gagging at the sight. He was quick to follow Cheryl, some of the jocks close behind. The sound of their voices boomed up the staircase.
My attention was drawn back to the paper in my hand.
I felt kinda of lucky after reading over the list, I only had about four people to look after. I did find it comical that they decided to stick Jughead with me. Poor guy was already a student, he left a few weeks ago and now he's back. It's as if he was never even a student at the school, treating him like some no-name transfer student.
Said once and I'll say it again, this school blows.
The next few minutes went by in a blur as the new students flooded the table. Snatching up paper after paper until the whole table was completely picked over and cleaned. Not one single schedule or map was left. It was only a few minutes later that the excitement started to slowly die down. Small groups of southsiders started to line the hall, talking with each other and going over their schedules together. It was clear that most of them seemed to be hoping to stick together.
Wishing to be put into the same classes as one another. I could feel for them in that since, being stuck into a new school surrounded by kids that hated them already. Not just because they where in a gang, but because they came from a different side of town that was labeled a shit hole.
I tried my best to not look at them with pity, but it was hard. It was hard not to feel bad for them.
I sighed to myself and looked at the paper one more time. There was only a small scene of relief that filled me as I found one particular name, it stuck out like a thumb.
Jughead Jones, types in a bold black font.
My eyes where quick to scan the small crowed, finding his iconic beanie. That thing was like a beacon. The guy has been wearing that things since…forever? I can still remember seeing him in middle school wearing the same exact hat. He occasionally switched some of the pins on it every once in a while. But I could tell that it was the same one.
Jug and me where decent acquaintance, possibly better then my relationship with Betty. JugHead didn’t bother to make a friendship with me what so ever. He hardly asked questions, didn’t try to insert himself into my business and didn’t make a big effort to go out of his way to bother me.
Sitting in silence was good enough for the both of us.
Which was just what I wanted.
My feet carried me over to him and the little group he was talking to. Four of them stud talking about something in a small circle in whispers. As soon as I made my presence know they separated.
Looking at Jug I raised a brow, no longer did he act like the guy I knew. His stance and posture were looser than usual, more toned. He stood taller with his shoulders proud and strong.
Did Jughead grow more of a backbone sense I last saw him? Maybe hanging out in the southside did something for him. Out of nowhere I got a feeling, it made the hairs on the back of my neck stick up. Maybe Jughead finally ended up following in his dad’s footsteps. It wasn’t that out there of a possibility.
“Really can't believe they roped you into doing this. What did they threaten you with this time? It's got to be something big to get you to hang around anyone in this school.” Jug mused as he looked by way. His eyes filled with a bit of amusement. His natural sarcasm seemed to ooze out. I rolled my eyes saying “ They threatened me using the stupid ass volunteer hours, apparently I don't have any for this semester. It was either I do this or they pull something out of a hat to get me with at the end of the year. And as you can tell, no one was exactly jumping to get this opening.” I crossed my arms. He didn't say mush to that, only giving a small nod. The guy behind him, the one with the tattoo on his neck didn't seem to get it.
“What are you to scared of us? Like the rest of you shitty northsiders!” the guy almost barked. Once again rage seemed to flare up inside him, quickly bursting out of the seems. He definitely had some minor anger issues going on. His brows knitted together and his adams apple bobbed. I tried my best not to flinch at his harsh tone. Jug looked like he wanted to say something but it died on his tongue.
I snapped back “You think I really fucking care? Half of these kids have only heard about the southside, they haven't even left the this side of the tracks their whole lives. The only reason why they make a big deal about it is because it's a chain reaction of the rich people on the northside wanting to show off how classiest they are. You think I've been to the southside?” the guy was silent.
“Iv seen a bit of it but have never actually been. Last time I checked, Southsiders don't make a huge habit of coming all the way over here for fun. Iv never done anything to you guys and you haven't done anything to me. So, once again, why the fuck should I care about any of you so long as you aren't messing with me?” my tone was slightly aggravated with a sense of boredom backing it. It wasn't every day someone tried to pick a real fight with me.
Then again I had never actually met a real southside serpent before.
There was a long pause of silence between all five of us. We all just stud around, not another word being uttered. Jughead cut the act for a moment and scratched at the back of his head. Seeming to be a bit embarrassed at the other teens outburst, even the girl next to him seemed annoyed. Unlike Jug she seemed to be more use to his outbursts, she simply rolled her eyes at him.
“Reader I-”
“No I get it Jughead, they're being cautious. But-” I paused and looked at the taller boy “Just know that I probably dislike this school and the people in it just as much as them. I don't like this school, I don't like the kids, and most of all I don't give two shits about this town. If you want to start something, take that crap to the jocks not me.” he stepped back a little bit. His face was ever so slightly relaxed. Just enough that the crease in his brow disappeared. I could still see the way his ears flushed under his dark black locks. His gaze shifted from me to the guy beside him, the shorter serpent gave him a hard look. They stared at each other for a good minute before he finally relaxed.
Jaw locked hard as he just looked back in my direction.
Shuffling a little I handed the paper still held to Jughead. He took a moment and looked it over before handing it back.
“So you got me and these guys.” he threw a thumb behind him.
“Im guessing, if you have a Toni, Fang and Sweet Pea??” I said with a little bit of question at the end. I wanted to question the name Fang but I also wanted to know the reason behind Sweet Pea. Fang was an interesting name, to say the least. But Sweet Pea? That was both sweet and odd. It wasn't a very comment nickname to my knowledge, maybe a sweet endurance kinda of thing. Never had I met someone who actually went by the nickname before on a daily basis. The girl tried to hold back a snicker, covering her mouth with her jacket sleeve which didn't go unnoticed by the others. She was quick to cough trying to cover her slip-up.
“If we could just all chill out for one second, please. Reader isn't a threat to the serpents, I can cover her on that.” Jug said looking back at his friends. They all kinds looked at each other, thinking on if they could actually trust his word. Seconds later it looked like they had reached some sort of unspoken argument. The other three nodded to one another before looking back at me.
“So do you want my help or not? Knowing you Jughead, this is a cake walk being you have already gone to school here. Do you want me to help your little friends or not? I still have to do something to at least look a little busy like I'm actually helping you guys out.” the idea to leave all of that stuff up to Jughead crossed my mind. He was smart, he could do all the stuff the school wanted me to help out with. But then it felt kinda of mean to just dump it all on him. There were three different people he would have to show around school and then to all their classes. I may be a ass in my own right but…it just seemed wrong.
“How about we split it? I already know where all of my classes are. Let's check their schedules, I'll take who ever has most of my classes and you take the ones who have more of your classes. Deal?” he quirks a brow my way. I give a small nod and watch as he collects the other's class schedules. Stepping over to me we both check over their papers.
A spark of hope went through me as I noticed only one of them seemed to have a good portion of classes with me.
Sweet Pea.
“Seems like I'll be taking Sweet Pea off your hands then.” I gave a half smile to Jug. All he did was him before stuffing the other papers into his friend's hands again. Looking over them again my eyes land on the girl. She gave me a smile but before I could even give one back, my hopes of being stuck with another girl were dashed.
The tattooed boy stepped out of the group and walked closer to me.
I could feel my eye begging to twitch behind my eyelid.
Why the fuck did “Sweet Pea” have to be what looked to be a six-three-tattooed man. One who just minutes ago was trying to get into my face.
“Well this is Sweet Pea. I'll trust you will be as nice as YOU can possibly be right. No bumping him in the hallway when you get tired of him. I know your way.”
“Please tell me you're not still mad when I left your ass in the gym that one time because you wouldn't take the hint to leave me alone.”
“Maybe I am, just a tiny bit.” he said with a bit of annoyance. Leave it to Jug to be still pissed about such a little thing.
“Now Sweet Pea, try not to bite off her head. We will meet you at lunch.” He said looking up at the other boy. Sweet Pea rolled his eyes as he watched Jughead start walking off. The girl who I could only now assume was Toni patted him on the shoulder before following Jug. Fang grinned at him and just laughed, giving him a hard slap to the should before jogging off to catch up with the other two. Sweet Pea grimaced as he watched them leave. His eyes trailed down the hall until they disappeared around a sharp corner. I couldn't help but do the same, watching them go.
“So are you going to show me around this place or what?” his voice made me shiver. It was deep and echoed. It wasn't thick but rang in my ear as he spoke. The angriness from his voice had long died. Now all that filled it was sarcasm and mischief. It was laced into a simple statement.
“Your going to be a pain in the ass aren't you?”
All he did was smirk before ripping his schedule from my hands.
I can't have nice things can I.

(Don't worry y'all, Sweet Pea will have more attention next chapter promise! We just have to work up to it. This is a slow-building fix.😚)

The Kafka brainrot is killing me, but I have a slight spark of motivation at 12 in the morning 🙌🏽
NSFW - MDNI

Just imagining being Kafka's bimbo girlfriend and wearing cute little skirts for him. He'd be an absolute dog, even in public he wouldn't be able to keep his hands off your body, especially your thighs.
"Kafka!"
"Yes princess?"
"Stop.. we're still in public baby."
"I know princess, just lemme lift your skirt a little, get a peek at what you're wearing underneath~"
Don't get me started on when you wear tight dresses for him, he'd literally be drooling. The sight of a nice dress hugging your curves in all the right spots has him fiending for your pussy and he's gonna be extra clingy until he gets to fuck you.
"Fuck princess, I been waiting to bury my cock inside you all day, so fucking warm f'me."
His hands are all over you, on your waist, your hips, your thighs, your tummy, your tits. Anywhere he can grab, he'll grab.
"You're so soft darlin, feel so good in my hands."

The bar was getting rowdy; live music playing, bets going, arguments starting and Zoro leaned back into his chair - eyes zeroed in on you. The crew was out for a celebratory drinks - Sanji had made dinner back on the Merry and Nami requested that everyone dress to the nines. This meant the black cocktail dress Kaya had given you back at Syrup Village. Zoro wasn't Sanji - he didn't falter at the mere sight of a woman and maybe it was the alcoholic drinks, but he couldn't take his eyes off you.
He wanted to think it was the dress, but he had seen you in it before and he really didn't care about clothes. Then he watched as Sanji passed out shots of whiskey to the crew, studying as you downed the shot effortlessly - slamming the glass on the table and demanding more.
"Pace yourself, love," Sanji warned but you flipped him off and demanded more. The cook laughed, shaking his head but heading to the bar for another round. Zoro chuckled at the interaction and you looked in his direction.
"I bet I can drink you under," you grinned, moving around the table to to take the seat across from him. Zoro stared and you challenged him until a burp escaped your mouth.
He smirked. "Under what? You're six shots in and barely standing."
Offended, you stood up, hands on the table. "Please, I'm not even buzzed. Come on, first to pass out loses and pays the tab."
Leaning forward, Zoro picked up the bottle of rum in front of him. You watched as he poured a glass for you, sliding it across to you. Sitting back down, you smiled sweetly at the handsome swordsman before downing the drink - eyes on him the entire time. When the glass clinked against the table, Zoro felt a tug in his heart and he knew he was going to be buying the tab tonight.
But he wasn't mad.
No, he was in love.

I think Ian would love when Mickey takes long showers.
The rest of the Gallaghers try to complain, and Ian would shut that shit down immediately. Mickey rarely does something so self-indulgent that isn't, y'know, a violent impulse. This is something that no one else gets to see, this isn't Mickey putting on a toughness show, this isn't anything but Mickey taking care of Mickey and Ian loves that for him. Wants him to have that for as long as he can.
Because here's the thing -- Ian remembers the filthy dirty boy he used to fuck in the Kash and Grab.
While Ian never judged Mickey for it (hell, who hasn't experienced a water shut off or heater shortage in Southside?) he knew that Mickey experienced it worst than most. Half the neighborhood called Mickey smelly for fuck's sake, it was well known that Mickey was not clean.
I also imagine Mickey had to fake-it-til-you-make-it in feeling okay with being that dirty. He stopped taking frequent showers or bothering with any hygiene products because he knew the Milkoviches only had so much hot water (or water in general). Terry got first dibs because if he didn't get what he wanted then his piss-poor mood would dictate how everyone's day's went.
Then, Mickey gave next priority to Mandy. Mandy's a girl, which when he was younger didn't really mean anything to him, until she came home wildly upset about being dirty, about how all the girls wouldn't stop pointing out how awful she smelled, how she got her period and the bloodstains were still in her clothes and she didn't have enough water to clean them out but she didn't have any more clean clothes, and fuck, Mickey realized girls were fucking mean when it came to shit like that, and Mickey never wanted her to deal with that ever again. After that, Mickey made sure Mandy had enough water to stay clean, to be orderly, because Mandy cared and Mandy deserved to feel good about herself.
If his brothers were home, they'd get it next, because they somehow always smelled worse than Mickey did. However, that was rarely a problem, and a lot of the time after Terry and Mandy they didn't really have much left in the tank anyway.
So Mickey learned to not care. Not care about being gross and disgusting and feeling itchy at times. To smell clothes and while it was sharp to his nose it was whatever. So something gave him a rash once, he can fucking live. Everyone seems to look at him like he's even more dangerous when he's filthy, so it comes with its own perks, right? Who cares if some nights he couldn't really sleep. He's a kid, and who fucking cares, he's probably not living that long anyway.
But as Mickey starts having more people care about him (and care more about himself in turn) things change in his head. Even when he comes back in season 7, he is nowhere near as covered in dirt as he was when he was young. And while some of this can be chalked up to not being a kid anymore, that's certainly not most of it. The self-loathing he had no longer manifests so outwardly, he's no longer living in a burn out and die young mindset, and he's got people who he gives a shit what they think about him. He wants to try to like himself the way other people (Ian) likes him. Which means being fucking clean.
So he starts to take long showers. And he realizes that, yeah, he likes the feel of having hot water on him, melting the day away. Likes having the assurance that he can have this without being covered in blood and needing to medically clean out the wound (if he'd even do it then). He likes... taking showers. Being clean. Having clean clothes. And Ian, of course, notices.
So, when Ian can hear Mickey taking a shower, and taking his fucking time and actually taking care of himself, Ian freaking loves it. Doesn't let anyone bother Mickey about the water, doesn't let anyone tell him what soaps to use or not use. It's all for his disposal.
And when Mickey's done, Ian will open the door and join Mickey in with the steamy bathroom. Before Mickey can utter a single word about it (most days he'll try to crack something self-deprecating, not quite broaching sorry but as close as he usually gets; on particularly vulnerable days he will try to genuinely apologize) Ian kisses him. Tells him he smells good. Tells him he looks good. Ian's a big fan of positive reinforcement. He's also a big fan of the smile on Mickey's face when he's feeling good about himself.
Ian of course wishes he could get Mickey to feel good about himself every day, but, it's a work in progress just like everything else. Mickey's got to unlearn a childhood built on the belief that he was barely worth garbage. That takes time. Ian gets it.
An easy place to start, though? Enjoying when his man takes his long hot showers.

It was the ultimate cliffhanger. Clifford Blossom had killed himself. But why? Life's not an Agatha Christie novel. It's a lot messier. Turns out, maple syrup was a front for his true business: transporting heroin from Montreal on his trucks. A narrative quickly emerged: That Jason Blossom learned about dear old Dad's drug running, and threatened to expose the truth; which led to Jason's abduction at the hands of a Southside Serpent named Mustang, and then to Jason's murder at the hands of his father. Clifford killed Mustang to cover his tracks, making it look like he'd overdosed, and tried to implicate a rival businessman, Hiram Lodge, as having masterminded the whole thing. And, oh, yeah, I almost forgot. Mr. Blossom threatened my life, so that my dad would confess to pulling the trigger, even though all he did was clean up the mess. And he would have gotten away with it, too, if it wasn't for a group of pesky kids who uncovered the truth. Even as Clifford Blossom, consumed by guilt and shame, took the coward's way out, Jason's murder had revealed some dark truths none of us were too eager to face - especially not Mayor McCoy, who wanted every last vestige of corruption crushed like a snake under a boot heel. [...] We had many milkshakes that night, and we all felt that as dangerous as the world around us had become, here, at least in this booth, we were safe. [...] Imagine this instant, frozen in time. People will look back at this as the exact moment that last bit of Riverdale's innocence finally died. When darkness won. Marked by an act of violence that was anything but random.

Full Mag Part 1
It's been sitting in my brain screaming for over a month. Clawing at the walls, trying to get out. So here's the first part of my Gallavich uncles fic.
Ian loves having an apartment all to himself with Mickey. It means privacy, domesticity, a space just for them in the early years of their marriage. Inevitably they'll find a bigger place. Maybe move back to the southside where Mickey is more comfortable. Ian could live with that, as long as he has Mickey he's okay with most things.
"Iggy, what the fuck?!"
Ian rolls his eyes and pinches the bridge of his nose. They keep getting noise complaints from their neighbors and while most of it is sex-related, a good portion is due to Mickey's poor volume control.
Ian sighs at the sound of Mickey screaming at his older brother on the phone and can only imagine the trouble Iggy could be in. Iggy calls every once in a while to bust his baby brother's balls or ask for money. Sometimes Mickey agrees, other times he curses Iggy out and hangs up on him. Right now it seems to be the latter.
Not even 20 seconds later, Mickey is rushing past Ian to grab his jacket off the hook.
"Where are you going?" Ian stands, wondering what Iggy could've said that has Mickey rushing to get out of the apartment.
"Where do you think? Asshole got himself arrested and now we need to go down to the station." Mickey grabs Ian's leather jacket off the hook and tosses it to him, stomping his feet into his Timberlands after doing so.
Iggy may not be the sharpest tool in the shed but he knows when to look apologetic. Especially when he's sitting in an interrogation room and he can see Mickey walk into the precinct, his husband in tow. It doesn't take long for Mickey to snap his attention through the window and give one lethal glare that makes Iggy immediately look away.
Ian stands behind Mickey with his hands in his jacket pockets and stares at the ground, waiting for Mickey to ask to see his brother. He's not shaken by the turn of events, after all between him, Lip, and especially Carl he'd already had his share of precinct visits. No biggie.
Iggy lifts his head as his younger brother and brother-in-law walk into the interrogation room. He gives the same goofy smile that Mickey has seen since they were kids and that never fails to irritate him to high heavens. Mainly because it's always followed by the dumbest thing that's ever been said and/or done.
"What the hell did you do, dumbass?" Mickey drops down into the chair across the table and leans into Ian's hand that rests on his shoulder.
"It wasn't my fault! You know how these pigs are. See a Milkovich and immediately jump to the worst-case scenario. All I know is, I was grabbing a beer from the convenience store, was gonna pay and everything, and next thing I know I'm face down and my hands are cuffed." Iggy huffs with irritation, chewing the corner of his bottom lip.
Mickey rubs his eyebrow, already feeling the beginnings of a migraine coming on. "So what? You need money?"
"No something else, something bigger. It's also why I asked you to bring Gallagher. Cause I know he'll say yes."
Ian's head whips up from where he'd been staring at the floor. "How do you know? I could easily say no to whatever you want."
Iggy laughs, cutting his eyes to Mickey. "I need you to watch my daughter."
