Angron: honestly his butcher's nails should have been writhing snakes or something to really animate him.

Mortarian: a little older looking than I intended him to be but yeah Rotty mcsnotface should be that way.

Ferrus: The world's most beautiful "ugly" man. Like, BRUV.

Russ: I feel that for every normative looking Primarch with fucked issues there needs to be an aestheticly fucked looking Primarch who's genuinely a normal dude. I feel that there's a good chance the "remembrance" portraits the Imperium have are hired to make the Primarchs look as good as possible. Russ should look more feral.

Magnus: this is what id imagine him before his demon form. Maybe Horus convinced him to join the traitors so he can equally distribute his hair Idk.

From the 3-part campaign "The Wolf Time" by Rick Priestley, which gives us the canonical one word spelling "Spacewolves," and Tony Hough's illustration of beaky armor with rumba style oversized sleeves & legs. Note also the space marines' early reliance on camouflage seen in many depictions.

#ampainting i would like to remind everyone that “tournament standard” for painting is three colors: This is five. @thearmypainter Wolf Grey primer/first coat… Tau Light Ochre for the “yellow” Army Painter Matt Black Mechanicus Standard Grey And Khorne Red This is not where I am stopping, but in my effort to get to Good Enough… With about an hour of effort to get to this point, if I had been cleaner, or clean them up at this stage, they could be table ready…boom done. Had a play around to Wolf-up a spare Judicar. I was debating going for an axeman look but decided to keep the executioners sword. One of the points of my #goodenoughbattalion project is to give me back some self respect. I see a myriad of great, high quality models built and painted by people dedicating their lives to this hobby. I compare myself to the likes of excellent YouTubers, my professional friends, and in fact the studio paint schemes. And I alway feel lacking. It was disheartening and I felt no matter how well I did it would never be up to snuff. These five models could use some cleanup and I have to finish their heads, but honestly, they were primed blue/grey, and have yellow, dark grey, red, black, brown and bone on them. This is above tournament required. I want then to match the rest of my army, but as it stands, i could call them done. It’s important to remember for me that this is enough. I don’t have to be better than “good enough” to play this game.
