Spider is having fun at a sleepover party with the Sully's kids. Kiri brings up the topic to rant their parent, such as Neytiri and Jake having some nearly autistic habits. Spider speaks when they laugh it off, "my dad is pretty strict and weird, too. Once I--" Neteyam, Loak and Kiri's jaw almost drops to the floor from all the details of Quaritch's discipline on Spider. having expected some harmless, strange and funny stuff.
Spider is very confused by their reaction--they look at each other silently with eyes widened, mouth slightly gapped.
"You guys are no fun." He mutters, staring at his feet as if these Sully's kids subtly set the rules that they are the only ones who get to roast their parents at this party.
I’ve been pondering what happens to Quaritch after atwow movie.
What if…he wanders in the forest of Pandora for a few months with Cupcake? There is no where he can go. Nothing left for him and no one accompanied with him. He has to start a primal, hunt-gathering life like the ancestors of human did thousands of years ago. He surely has a lot of memories about his military career, traumatic and mostly vague. (He never understands the concept of “trauma” since it’s always an avoided, repressed topic, which causes the vague events of his past continue to haunt him) The time he spends alone in the wild grants him a precious chance to calmly think about things—why Jake betrayed RDA, why he even launched the whole revenge thing against Jake and how Ardmore told him that Spider is not his son (which definitely occupies a major part of his thought, since he did develop a relationship with his captée situated in many in-betweens of categories; if he attempts to define this relationship, he will have to consider how he viewed his bonding with his squad and most importantly, how RDA viewed people who work for them). He will be learning about human relationships from scratch, which he may figure it out or never, but he should more or less grow apologetic for what he did to Spider.
Bitty fragment from my next affront to good taste. Warnings for implications of noncon and csa.
He's vat-slick and trembling, staring, up into deep, deep blue. Some small part of him whispers sky, and he wonders, distantly, what that means. Whether it has anything to do with the plummeting swoop in his stomach as big hands wrap gently around his shoulders and tug him upright.
"Can you hear me, tiger?" a voice asks, deep and rumbling, echoing through his bones like what another version of him might have referred to as rockfall.
He blinks slowly, feeling glistening fluid drip down his cheeks (and not for the last time). "Ti-ger," he echoes, taking a deep breath. He doesn't exactly know what he's smell, but it's...good. He likes it.
The blue in front of him splits around the outline of a shining white crescent. A grin without a cat, he thinks, before the though runs away with the rest of the liquid dripping down his back. His lips twitch in response.
