🎆𝗪𝗥𝗜𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗖𝗞-𝗜𝗡🎆 Can you believe it's next year already?!! 🤯 𝗕𝗜𝗚𝗚𝗘𝗦𝗧 𝗪𝗥𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗚𝗢𝗔𝗟 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟮 My biggest goal for 2022 is to finish writing Snow White and the Guardians of the Sword. I am determined to finish writing this book! 𝗘𝗡𝗗 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗛 𝗚𝗢𝗔𝗟𝗦 𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗗 I didn't make any of my writing goals this month. My entire family and I were sick with the flu. I barely wrote because this month was exhausting and busy. After spending some time away from the keyboard, I am ready now to dust off my writing tools and get back into the game. It’s a weird feeling, coming back from a writing break. Like thinking your fire for writing has been extinguished and only to find you were just misdirected. One of the things that really helped me was finding writing prompts to ignite the fire and get things moving again. 𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗞 𝗧𝗢𝗖𝗞 𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗞 𝗧𝗢𝗖𝗞 The most festive I'm being is breaking out a bottle of sparkling grape juice and watching Rockin' Eve. But, I broke out the red lipstick again for today too! There is also her father, but that's a very complicated relationship. Normally, my writing process is to write whatever comes, put it in the manuscript where I think it will fall, and when it feels like a good amount is there, I quilt the different moments together. With my WIP, Where the Heart Is, the process is a bit different because it takes place before the first two books in the series and also covers some of the same time (and even some of the same moments) as An Impossible Dream. I already know the timeline and I know different moments that are essential for me to hit.
