Soulmates ❤️ Missing these landscapes way too much today and ofcourse Maggi with a view like this 🥺 I remember how my Pin Valley trip was planned at the last moment . I was supposed to leave for Peo but instead I decided to head to Pin. As far as my eyes could see, there was vast blue sky, snow clad mountains and hardly any traces of humans . It was surreal and so damn cold ❄️ I barely managed to stick my hand to have this bowl . Only after few minutes it felt like I was having freezed maggi and ice tea 😂 I sat there for a bit , curiously listened to the details of the Pin Parvati trek that the owner of the cafe was explaining with so much enthusiasm and how thrilled he was to go for it again this summers. But my inner kid did not let me miss it 😛 Chandratal was absolutely surreal. The richness of the moon lake, sinking into the every greenest nook and studded with millions of pebbles around. Tabo Monastery , built in 996 AD. This monastery is oldest monastery of india which has nine temples , four mud stupas , assembly hall , priceless collection scroll paintings, manuscripts , well preserved statues and extensive murals. The monastery has an interesting story behind it. King Ye-she-o sent 21 local youngsters to study and learn the tantras from indian masters in Vikramshila University of Bengal. 19 men died because of unable to bear the heat of plains.The two who survived were Rinchen Sangpo and Lhekpai Sherap . Rinchen went on to become a inventive traveler and renowned scholar. He is said to have translated many indian works into Tibetan and visited many Buddhist centres.
