#splatoon 4

in splatoon 4 they should add two idol groups who are both doing the news but on different channels

they are very competitive and about equal in popularity

you get to pick which news broadcast you listen to, or maybe they alternate each time

they pull pranks on each other to ruin the other group’s news segment

they have the same producer so the rivalry is possibly just a marketing stunt…but they are both *really* into it

possible enemies to lovers arc during the splatfests???

(bonus points if their studios are literally across the street from eachother)

I think if Splatoon 4 has 4 idols they should split into two groups to vote and there will be 2 options again. Like 2 of them are like "obviously this option is better" and the other 2 are like "wdym? This option is better!" And like the people who pick what shuffle around. So maybe there will be better results. And it would give Nintendo better opportunities to build on the bands relationship and dynamics between each other in competition! (I wanna see the idols fist bump each other and interact and stuff more.)

I REALLY hope that Splatoon 4 ends up being the series’ Animal Crossing: New Leaf moment where the experience ultimately ends up being a breath of fresh air for everybody and introduces things like customizable apartments and storytelling that doesn’t just boil down to “do the thing because I told you to”

Things I want to happen in splatoon 4 that are probably bad ideas and won't happen:

-Allowing free customization between any of the 'special variants' of species (fuzzy octos, sanitized octos, whatever happened to og agent 3)

-Allowing for free customization and mixing matching aspects of inklings and octolings (they've lived together for long enough for them to crossbreed and have Inktoling kids. please it makes sens)

-Hair length sliders

-Hair ends + fingertip colors you can customize that aren't the same as your main ink color

-Better amiibo photo stuff, let me actually hug Frye please

-Cuttlefish playable characters (preferably hinted at in the main game and then unlocked in a DLC, I mean I don't like locking stuff behind paywalls but it's what would help lore stay consistent)

-More salmonid types

-RPG style single player story

-The splatoon 3 enemy octoling outfits as gear PLEAAAASE BRO PLEASE THEYRE SO FUCKING AWESOME OH MY G

-More frequent Big Run's

-New king salmonid lore

-NOT ANOTHER SPECIAL VARIANT OF OCTOLING AS ENEMIES. PLEASE. PLEASE CAN WE MOVE ON THEYVE BEEN TORTURED ENOUGH. AT LEAST INCLUDE INKLINGS WITH THEM PLEASE
