Side Order au where Marina is still greyscaled for most of the first run. She's still on your side! She's just, still more so Agitando than your usual girl- since her palette hasn't been unlocked and Order hasn't been taken down. It's like in Portal 2 when Glados is a potato.

She's after her own goals of retaining control of Orderland and still tells you everything like how Marina does- she's just, not all herself yet. But she'll get there by the end! And after that she's normal Marina.

Splatoon AU anyone?

rewatched some HLVRAI and also have been playing a lot of splatoon... so HERE YOU GO ! ! ! more details and some lore under the cut... not too long, I wanna keep some things for future posts ;)

Okay so BASICALLY

Gordon Freshman (wip name lol) is exploring/researching a lost human civilization, one of the last on Earth before all of humanity was wiped out. He finds in one of the buildings various tubes of cryostasis... with a variety of species. Some of the tubes are too frozen over to see inside.

He somehow gets frozen too, and his brain is connected to a virtual network where all the other frozen people reside. The network is pretty nice, but if you ever try to escape, or do something 'wrong', a challenge/test gets thrown at you like in Octo Expansion. Basically, this place is Keeping You Here.

Turns out, Benrey (one of the humans in the colony who froze himself just before the big blast, but the machine malfunctioned and never unfroze him... basically keeping his mind intact, but his body unusable) is the one controlling the place and he's really lonely after... oh... y'know... 10,000 years of isolation... so he's determined to make sure his new friends do not leave.

feel free to ask me anything abt this au ;) ALSO IF ANYONE HAS GOOD NAMES FOR THE CHARS LMK. So far all i got is Gordon Freshman, Bubbles (lol) or Bubbly, and Coomer's name... well... Salmon Names have unusual conventions, but man I'm warring with myself not to call him Doctor Super Punch Out!! For the Nintendo Entertainment System.

about the hypnoshades in the werekraken au...

in the werekraken au, it runs like this

DJ Octavio kidnaps Callie as normally and puts on the hypnoshades

doesn't know she has a werekraken form. suffers the consequences. the octarian army no longer has an king, or some of their soliders for that matter. She's not on the best terms with octolings unlike canon.

Marie goes out to find Callie ( as usual ). when she does with agent four, her werekraken form is also hypnoshaded, maybe her even more hostile, thus the following interaction plays out! and by the way, her left eye is gone lmao

to protect four and herself, she also switches into werekraken from to knock the shades off and get her back to normal, leaving Callie with a diagonal scar across her face from the fight

agent four in this au is very uh... indifferent to the squisters. Captain is much closer with them and knows how the werekraken goes, but agent four meets Callie for the first time in werekraken form, and doesn't even know it exists in the first place

after this whole event, the Squid Sisters as a whole are still together, covering up their big ass boo boos when performing, but their personalities take a bit of a swap. Callie is more reserved now, a bit constantly wracked with guilt and has a very poor self-eesteem. She's getting better in s3 though.

Marie overcompensates, becoming more active socially to try and distract herself from the fact that Callie will always feel horrible when she looks at her. Even with covering up scars, Marie's glass eye still shows what happened that night.

By s3, the squid sisters aren't as popular as they are in canon ( example: Liquid Sunshine doesn't exist, nor does their performances in Inkopolis Plaza ) but they're working on making their relationship as good as it was before s2.

they reverse engineered the helmet to block most of the towers signals but it started making them a conspiracy nut
