Read till end for Byron's memoirs 👀​👀​👀​

Wedding attire of Lady Annabella Byron (nee Milbanke) aka Lord Byron's wife. Yes. THAT Byron. From this simple but tasteful ensemble one can somewhat understand her character (and the fate of the marriage) a bit better.

J. C. Hobhouse, Byron's best man, describes her as such on that day:

Byron hitched at first when he said “I, George Gordon”, and when he came to “with all my worldly goods I thee endow”, looked at me with a half-smile – they were married at eleven.

And this Lord Byron's wedding waistcoat, who is said to have belonged to King George the 2nd of England (it was re-taylored for regency fashion), and which Byron wore often.

And now for something completely different! An excerpt from the lost Memoirs of Lord Byron. While the manuscript itself was destroyed, many people read (and copied!) some parts. The editor of The John Bull Magazine (1824, on which the following excerpt was published) has of course made some "mutilations" (aka censorship), but the text seems genuine, and Byron's cheeky prose style manages to shine through. Some (including the Magazine's Author) say that THIS EXACT CHAPTER was the main reason for the burning of the Memoirs.

(Please keep in mind that, while I consider myself a Byron enthusiast, I almost never agree with his choiches/courses of action. If you want my personal opinion, i'll be happy to exchange insights!)

I just finished watching Daisy Jones & The Six and noticed similarities to 8th house synastry that I wanted to share to Astrotumblr. I recognized even in 8th house synastry that I've had with friends, family, and unrequited loves can be an intense transformative repeating cycle , if you're unable to acknowledge where all parties stand in a relationship. So, Very Plutonian.

*I just found out the series is based on a book by Taylor Jenkins Reid and now I'm curious to know, if there were any major changes made to the series vs the book.

Anyways,

8th house themes to me:

Transformation, Inheritance, Death, Rebirth, taxes, married couples, intimacy, Unspoken, mirrors, truth, subconscious & conscious, base comforts, gifts, reciprocity, true value, war, Scorpio, magnets, our obsessions, Mars, vulnerabilities, armor and weapons used to defend, The Aftermath or conclusion to a legal battle/divorce/separation.

How do these themes tie into Daisy Jones & The Six:

I think Daisy Jones and Billy Dunne represent a plutonian/8th house couple that recognize their mirroring selves and are constantly pulled towards another like magnets, but unable to fullfill their romantic desires because of their vices and life commitments.

Billy married Camilla his teen sweetheart.

He cheats on Camilla and has an alcohol addiction.( his alcohol addiction stems from failure in life, music career, to being a new father, and his absent father in childhood, who so happened to be a deadbeat drunk)🤔🙃

His ego and pride prevent him and rest of the band from reaching their highest potential because the fear of his shadow. ( Chiron in Leo, Chiron in 2nd, Chiron 3rd, Apollo placements)

Daisy comes from an emotionally neglectful household and resentful mother, which also inspires her to write her music and join The Six( Moon in 8th, Cancer in 8th, Moon, Gemini in 8th, Mercury in 12th house).

Daisy strikes it out on her own, meets Simone Jackson, Teddy Price, and eventually The Six.

Daisy and Billy are attracted to each other because they can relate to addiction, the need to fill their emptiness with substance abuse, and acknowledge their vulnerability with each other. They feel whole when they're together, but this isn't enough to keep them from destroying themselves and the band.

I’m glad anons are being chill about canon divergent EM asks with you because people will honestly act insane when it comes to them (not in a good way).

I was able to watch AOT spoiler free which was a blessing and as soon as I saw hobo Eren in the Marley arc I thought we were getting undercover nurse Mikasa or something and GOD just imagine 🙃

I've never had too much of a problem in all my time ahah, the most chaos we had was with the divorce au lol and i think we're over that now 😂 but lol spoiler free, I'm impressed that's almost impossible these days.

Rewatching Greg’s Anatomy (spoilers)

Chief Webber is a hypocrite.

Addison is also a hypocrite. She cheated on Derek (with his best friend) and yet she feels justified in being horrible to Derek and Meredith.

Kinda dislike that Adele suggests that Derek should give Addison a chance just cause that was she did with Richard.

Derek is kinda to blame because he didn’t tell Meredith about being married.

I also don’t like that Addison deceives Derek about how many times she cheated on him with Mark. She makes it seem like a one time thing but she was pregnant with his (Mark’s) kid and Mark says that it was months before Derek walked in on them.

Derek is an idiot.

I do feel real bad for Meredith.

Miranda is brilliant and I love her.

Derek is still an idiot.

“Stop being an adulterous bitch” dang Derek tell her how you really feel.

She gave him divorce papers if he truly wanted her gone he would have signed them but he’s still being misled with inaccurate information.

I love Nurse Tyler.

Bit annoyed that Derek gave Meredith false hope but at the same time think Meredith knew he wasn’t gonna sign the papers.

There were three in the bed and Georgie said “shhhhhh sleep”.

“Not going to beg you to want me” end of episode begs him. Way to stay strong there Meredith.

Also.. yandere Deku😶—an interesting but scary concept.Definitely.At this point Shouto is the best boy(The man has been in love with reader for almost a decade of his entire life.She got married to his best friend?he was happy for both of them.He then found out Izuku cheated on the reader, so he decides to not being antogonistic towards Izuku until he has the audacity to get angry at Shouto for BETRAYING him.THE AUDACITY.

The worst thing the reader could have done was lowering herself to Izuku's level and cheated on him as well, but no, she waited for the divorce,some time for herlsef,then boom..it just happened.

It still hurts because Izuku and the reader were so damn cute together.The trust, the love..all of this destroyed for a woman.

Damn I would love an alternate ending where Izuku refuses Melissa.Cut ties with her.And goes back at home to the reader.

I know,I'm a sucker for happy endings, especially when the partner chooses to say no.

Hey! Every time I see you commenting on Ringsy clips, I wonder what you are thinking about their current storyline (and about what we know is about to come from the spoilers). Own flat, Stinker wanting to move in with them, the surrogacy/adoption bits, Junior & Easy's way to deal with that, character development in general... So, what are you thinking? 🙃

I think it is WAAAAAY too soon for any kind of kid storyline, but I get it. When you have a couple the two choices are family or drama. They have written themselves this completely in love couple so there is no easy way to get to the drama.

(I’m reminded of the time the anons yelled at me over a cheating storyline when I said that I couldn’t see it happening with the couple we had now and it would need some serious storytelling to get from here to there.  Because apparently this means it’ll never happen.  Honestly, every time I remember that it makes me smile because sometimes anons are just so angry about shit.)

But back to this non-angry anon.

If you don’t want a couple to stagnate then you need to give them something to do.  And since the drama was off the table it had to be the kid storyline.  Coco was a pure plot device to get Ringo into Papa Mode and from there on we had them racing at top speed, throwing everything they could at it.  Because you need something for them in terms of a storyline.

I liked the drama of the surrogacy, I liked the emotions that came with it.  I’m not impressed at how they immediately went to WE ARE HAVING A BABY after the pregnancy test and weren’t basically holding their breath for three months like many expectant parents are when they want a baby that much.  Vivi didn’t need all that external pressure to feel conflicted about telling them she’d lost the baby, the simple fact that she knew how much they wanted it was enough.

Junior was...  Well, that whole storyline was a mess and seems to be simply a way to get them into this debt storyline.  Easy’s desperate need to be a father felt like a step back.  We’d already had this wonderful speech pre-proposal where Easy literally said that in a choice between Ringo and a child he’d choose Ringo.  And while I think he knew that Ringo wouldn’t divorce him over the dodgy adoption the fact that Easy chose a child over his husband?  It didn’t sit right with me. Only thing I can think of is that it was a means to get the boys into debt.

The fact they have just moved out into their own place makes sense: they’re married for the best part of a year and they’re talking about having a family and last time they lived on their own it lasted all of a few weeks until they ended up back in the WG together.  I do think that it’ll be good for them to be together, just them, and it makes sense if they are planning to adopt.

Money worries are a pretty normal and common thing for people but either this is going to be a simple storyline that runs alongside everything, possibly explaining why they’re not in the Schiller every two nights, or it’s going to end up driving a wedge between them.  And that I don’t want because we will end up with a very clear line of right and wrong: if they are working to reduce debts and one of them goes against that and spends recklessly?  Clearly that’s not on.

The spoilers about fostering mean that we can have parent!Ringsy without having to worry about the utter boredom that comes with a soap baby.  I talked about this many metas ago - how babies were often the death knell for a soap couple because either they were tied to the baby or it was never seen and always “with a sitter”.  Ah, such is the restriction of filming with kids.

I still think it’s too early though.  I think that they should be married for a bit, live on their own for a bit, get to really know and understand what it’s like to live with someone one-on-one without any other buffer.  Much is made about how close Easy and Tobias are and you can’t tell me that this wasn’t a product of the two of them living together all that time?  No one else around?  We know how fucking in love with his husband Ringo is - the speech to Paco, selling his father’s watch - and so I want him to enjoy having this time with Easy when it’s just them, before they end up sharing their home and their hearts with all the kids that they will give a good home to. Because ultimately I do think that they will make great parents.

Just not yet.

(spoilers) omg i didnt think chag could be so psychotic and evil. which was my mistake... like, take his 'daughter' from him? like, why is she so obsessed that she would go so far to take him hostage as her 'husband'. i get what you were saying before about him not being able to divorce till now. esra owns him and his heart. was kinda pissed at esra for blowing up at him. i think her lying about atlas is much worse than his impulsive marriage to chag. also, what is up with esra's marriage to chy? like, how does that even work? for 5 yearssss dont mind the new brother. hes cute. but omg the scene with zumrut. my heart just shredded uppppp. when she and ozan were crying. omg i died. this show does the angst and emotion really well. esp ozan <3

She is so insane 😐😐 it’s honestly so heartbreaking to watch Ozan be separated from Ela like this and him have zero control over what happens 😭 this entire plot is pretty realistic 😩 99% of the time, no matter how bad of a mother someone is, they are often given custody of the child purely based of the fact that their are the mother/a woman. Courts often make decisions based on stereotypes rather than what’s the best interest of the child 🥺💔 so I’m glad ami is somewhat highlighting this point (no matter how crappy the execution is).

Tbh, I don’t think she’s obsessed with Ozan/loves Ozan! As esra mentioned, if she was so in love with him … she would have done something about the cheating or even felt a specific way about it. The only time we see C somewhat get bothered is when Esra is in the picture, so like E said, I think that C obsession is with Esra and the need to beat E and be better than E 🙊

As I’ve mentioned, C was only nice to E at the start bc she saw E as inferior … a poor and uneducated intern, who needed to be saved (v similar to how the twins see ozan too, minus the uneducated part) 🤷🏽‍♀️ she is unable fathom that someone like Ozan would be in love with ‘someone’ like E 🥴 and expects ozan to be in love with her (C) bc she’s beautiful, rich, well traveled/ educated etc. … like ozan currently is. As such, C never saw E as competition. Plus, the twins are so used to always getting their way and winning … and the introduction of E is probs the first time C didn’t get what she wanted (well that and Mert ditching her at the alter lmao).

YESSSSSS! I agree with you a trillion percent. Esra is annoying me so much. I literally cannot stand the character 🥴🥴 and it’s really ruining the experience of the show for me lol.

She has had zero character development. Plus, I feel as tho she really undermines Ozan 🙃 and she never takes accountability for her role in everything that has happened. I’m so so mad at her for allowing Atlas to think of Ci as his father … like it’s one thing to hide a child (dont condone it) but it’s a whole other horrible thing to forcefully replace a able + willing parent 😐😐 it’s sick.

With regards to e marriage to Ci, a lot of people mention that he took advantage of her being in a vulnerable situation etc. and ‘tricked’ her into marrying him 🤔 idk how I feel about this take, but all I know that her marrying him + the whole atlas dad thing is RIDICULOUS 🙃🙃

It seems like they’ve been living together for five years and acting as a married couple in front of atlas (well kinda) and the public 🤔 and once they are alone they purely “friends”.

I really hate how they’ve written E 😐 she is so so so so submissive to Ci! He makes every decisions concerning her and atlas … it’s insane to me … especially given how she always fought ozan with regards to stuff like this. It’s like I’ve said, they’ve written Ci to be her weak spot 🤷🏽‍♀️ she literally listens to everything he says.
