I’m super interested in backing your pin kickstarter, but I need to know: when you say the jumping spider is an “add-on” does that mean that you can only get it if you back for a different pin first (ending up with 2 pins, one of which is the spider)? Or could you back for only 1 pin and choose the jumping spider as your single pin?

If you only want the jumping spider, you can just pledge for the 1 pin tier and after the campaign, just select that one to check out with :) (Kickstarter's reward system is incredibly barebones so I had to set up things like this)

Daisy’s half asleep on the cot when she hears voices, muffled, through the thick door. 

“Is she asleep?”

“I think so; went in about an hour ago? She was tired from walking, said her knees were bothering her.” 

“Ah.” 

“Mm.”

“And... she been doing...?”

The voices get quiet. Daisy debates letting herself fall away, but then the doorknob is turning. Her shoulders prickle, unsettled by the fact that she’s facing the opposite wall. But there’s not much to do without immediately giving herself up. 

It’s no mystery who comes in: the light but clumsy footfalls scream Jonathan Sims. 

He hovers by the door, then shuffles over. Interestingly, after just a second of wariness, Daisy feels her body begin to relax again. She’s still breathing evenly when he sits at the very edge of the cot, his lower back just barely pressed against hers. 

For a while, there’s nothing else; they breathe together in silence. Daisy considers, once again, letting herself go. But she can feel the weight of Jon’s gaze on her (not like before, it doesn’t itch, it’s grounding, it’s wanting), so she waits, curious. 

“...I hope you’re sleeping alright. I know- Mm. But it’s better than nothing, I suppose.” A brief pause, then, a little quiet with the hint of a laugh, “Maybe.” 

He stands, taking his warmth with him, warmth that Daisy hadn’t realized she was enjoying. She can’t help the discontent sigh that escapes her, but Jon doesn’t seem to notice anything amiss. He does make a noise of consideration, though. “It’s cold in here; one sec, I think...”

Noise near the foot of the bed; Jon quietly cursing when something falls onto the floor. Daisy almost wants to laugh - he really is awful at anything requiring a modicum of subtlety. 

With a triumphant little, “Hah!” Jon seems to find what he’s looking for. A second later, Daisy feels something being draped across her body. 

“I hope it’s not too heavy,” Jon mutters to himself. There’s a moment of quiet, then a satisfied, “Hm,” before Jon heads out of the storage room.

(honestly not fully understanding what is meant by classes in this ask meme but)

SOLVEJ: literally could not be stealthy if she tried to. like she can be quieter than youd expect sort of in the way a grizzly bear might be quiet sometimes but its just not happening. shes not Interested in the thief/etc lifestyle but would have to admit theres been situations where it would help if she was able to be subtler than 500 lbs stark white and 8 ft tall (shes actually pretty lackluster at illusion magic too considering how good she is in other areas)

SHAP: he doesnt have much magical skill, beyond most of the basics that help you get by (basic healing, small fire spells, etc). he would like to learn more magic, but hes just average at it and better at other things. (in videogame terms hed probably be close to the monk class)

hey ambre have you read any of the kyoshi novel? specifically the part about rangi and fire nation nobles and their hair? "Rangi shifted, pressing closer to Kyoshi [_] her hair against Kyoshi's lips. The startling contact felt like a transgression, the mistake of a girl exhausted and drowsy. The more noble Fire Nation families [_] would never let just anyone touch their hair." the intricate rituals (also: me: what if this but zukka)

i have not in fact read the kyoshi novel but bro. bro thats so tender. sokka noticing that zuko’s hair is getting longer one day and just offhandedly running his fingers thru it and zuko just. freezes. bc sokka doesnt understand the implications but zuko DOES and its such an intimate gesture and he doesn’t know how to handle it so he just excuses himself as quickly as possible and basically sprints away (”i gotta—uh—bathroom. now. bye”). they dont bring the (frankly embarrassing) moment up again until years later, when the fire lord and his husband are sitting in the royal gardens, zuko w his head in sokka’s lap and sokka absently braiding zuko’s hair, and suddenly sokka is like “omg remember when i touched ur hair for the first time and u had a mental breakdown” and zuko smacks him.
