"Mike didn't love El at first sight. He treated her terribly."
"Well, he had just met her/didn't know her yet/was upset about Will!"
The analysis I'm working on is really opening my eyes...

stranger things season 5 is gonna start with the voice of a little boy, singing a familiar song…
and then we see will, singing. THEN we see the demogorgon taking him to the library, everything in between the scenes we know— that we haven’t seen, deleted scenes or new scenes idc.
season 5 is gonna start at the point between will getting to the library and joyce and hopper finding him, what we didn’t see. we get a close look at a tease of how the connection between him and vecna specifically began
and then he wakes up. present s5 time, title card intro begins and the first episode of the final season of stranger things starts.
im CALLING IT BABY!

Thinking about the flyer for guitar lessons posted by the Hawkins community pool (on the list of Eddie's whereabouts in S4) all the way back in S3.
Thinking about how it said "impress crushes".
Thinking about the guitar in Mike's room in S4.

And if I said that Mike and Will's relationship has always been romantic and that them finally getting together is just them accepting their relationship for what it has always been from the start

what really bothers me (and equally excites me) is that we have so many unanswered questions from season 1 – how did will byers disappear? who took him to the upside down? why? why did they not kill him immediately like they did barb? how was he able to see the lights that joyce put up if the upside down is stuck on november 6th? how did he call home so many times? why, when the demogorgon finally found him at castle byers, was he taken to the library and not again eaten directly? what was that tendril thing attached to his mouth? what purpose did it serve?
i am anticipating the answers to all of these questions so badly you have no idea

- Castle Byers!
- Not a lot of Millie and Sadie in this BTS 🤔
- Priah and Dustin!
- Hopper's even bigger beard!
- Linda Hamilton!

do you guys ever think abt how in st4 they introduced the concept of nina and blocked out memories to protect someone from trauma… and now we know they’re filming unseen scenes from will in the UD… wouldn’t it be RLLY cool if el brought nina up, and idk?? like?? meditated with will to access his memories in search of the key to defeat vecna? maybe from something that happened in the UD that he blocked out? would high-key be a bomb ass scene and so cool for some willel bonding🤞

As I proceeded with my daily ST rewatch I noticed this at the end of s3:
Maybe a reach but they lingered on this box more than the other ones and it seems to look like foreshadowing to s4 when joyce gets the package from russia and sees all the weird stamps.

More and more, I think the miscommunication between Mike and Will in S4 is caused by the rain fight in S3 and the elephant in the room that was left unaddressed.
Will keeps trying to avoid having that conversation again in fear of getting to the heart of the issue and making the rift between them even deeper.
Meanwhile, Mike keeps trying in various ways to restart that conversation, to repair the rift by getting to the heart of the issue and bring them closer together.
