Had a didn't believe it was true until it happened to me moment on a Stack Exchange site.

People complain that Stack Overflow/Stack Exchange closes questions for no reason. I have had a small number of questions closed before, but it's always been for a reason in hindsight that I thought was good.

Until this time where my question on the Open Source site got closed, in part because I researched my question before asking.

One of the other reasons was because the person recommending my question get closed couldn't find the answer after searching for it. Hmmm bro maybe if you don't close the question someone else who does know the answer can enlighten both of us. So sorry you're an ignorant piece of shit, but it happens to the best of us.

The main reason they gave for my question being closed was that it was asking for software recommendations. Except that I explained 3 times that I wasn't doing that. There is an objective answer to my question. I legit cited their own docs 3 times to explain that my question was 100% on-topic.

I think the difference might be that I look like a new user on Open Source SE and they're hostile to new users. I posted my question the same day I got my account. I've been on SO for over a decade. I was able to start gaining karma way back when privileged users were less hostile to newbies.

I always assumed that new users were complaining about getting questions closed because they didn't research existing answers or their question was off-topic. But now I realize it's more likely because you just joined yesterday and that means you must be excised from the private VIP club.

Adalék: valamikor 2023 végén feltalálták a Samsung Secure Folder appot, ami alapértelmezetten telepítésre került a soron következő frissítéssel.

A Secure Folder egyik fícsöre, hogy a telepített appokat is egy védett helyre teszi - így konkrétan az adb package manager, ami a 0 (root) userrel operál, nem éri el őket, mert a Secure Folderbe telepített appokhoz csak a 150-es user fér hozzá.

A gyári bloatware természetesen a Secure Folderbe kerül.

Megfejtés:

rootolni kell a készüléket :-/

Uninstallod a Secure Foldert, elintézed, amit akarsz a package management környékén, reinstallod a Secure Foldert.

Hogyan kell uninstallni a Secure Foldert:

Az alany egy friss, ropogós céges Samsung S22, súlyos százezrekbe volt. Kb. 3-4 hét után most jutottam el odáig, hogy letakarítottam (na jó, inkább csak disabledbe raktam) rajta mindent, ami tök feleslegesnek tűnt.

~130 app (Settings szerint) ~70 amit helyben hagytam ~5 amit különösebb flanc nélkül felületről uninstallni tudtam ~60 amit ADB-vel kellett disabledre rakni

Azaz csaknem fifti-fifti a hasznos-szemét.

2. Ha az app Google Play Store-ból jön, akkor benne lesz az URL GET paraméterei között, pl.: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.android.chrome

3. Ha Galaxy Store-ból jön, az már nagyobb szívás, legtöbb bloatware simán böngészőből keresve Galaxy Store-ban nem található meg. Ami igen, ott az URL-ben nem fog szerepelni az appid. De. Ha a Settings / App info / App details in store-ra nyomunk, majd a jobb felső csücsökben a Share-re, akkor kapunk egy olyan URL-t, amiben szintén szerepel az appid: https://galaxystore.samsung.com/prepost/000006456173?appId=com.samsung.android.bixby.agent

4. A maradékot meg kínkeservesen egyesével kell webszörcsölni.

Mellesleg a Galaxy Store review szekciók az appok jelentős részénél tele vannak a bloatware miatti gyalázkodással.

Asszem ez lesz az utolsó Samsung telefonom, fenének se kell ez a pokoljárás minden új készüléknél.

Hey, sort of a very niche question, if anyone reading this knows about topological data analysis and particularly persistent homology, are there any resources out there on the PH of the n-torus? I've been able to find that of the 1-sphere from this stackexchange post and the linked articles within but nothing (as far as I'm aware) on higher-dimensional tori.

Edit: I should specify, in case it helps, I'm looking at the Clifford embedding where you embed T^n into R^(2n). In an adjacent vein, perhaps there are some results about PH on product spaces, where we could break T^n into S^1 x ... x S^1 (n times).

They just found out who the math stack exchange girl is and it's a guy who made a fake account to get people to help him with solving problems on his main when they would otherwise ignore him, by posting the answer as Cleo and having people finally interact with his post by arguing at cleo over the answer, which is undeniably really funny but also devastating.
