Force-Sensitive Exile (Explorer)
The Jedi are gone, the vast majority hunted down and destroyed by the Emperor and his minions. If any survive, they do so in hiding at the farthest edges of the galaxy. The Galactic Empire regards the ability to use the Force as a crime punishable by the harshest measures. In a few short decades, most of the galaxy has forgotten the Jedi, and dismissed the Force as an ancient religion. For many, this is by far the safest option. In the hidden corners of the galaxy, those who can touch the Force remain hidden, hunted, and outcast... but alive.

Scoundrel (Smuggler)
A Galaxy of Marks
Part con artist, part gunslinger, and part cantina brawler, the Scoundrel is quick-witted, fast on his feet, and quick to get himself into a great deal of trouble at the drop of a hat. He doesn't care one whit for rules or laws, except where he can use them to work an angle that either nets him a lot of credits or brings down an enemy. If he's really lucky - and he tends to have an unshakeable faith in his luck - he'll manage both.
Tumblr media
Marauder (Hired Gun)
Up Close and Personal
Marauders don't necessarily mind shooting their opponents, but they would much rather get mixed up in a melee, weapons in hand, smashing and slashing their way through. Marauders are tough - probably the toughest combatants in any conflict. They tend to take a great deal of punishment while dealing out far more to any who would dare go against them.
Tumblr media
Survivalist (Bounty Hunter)
Master of the Wild
Beyond Civilization, in the farthest reaches of the galaxy, there are places where few (if any) sentients have ever trodden the ground. Places like this are ideal hiding places for those fleeing the law or retribution for their actions. Places like this are where the Bounty Hunters who specialize as Survivalists thrive.

Star Wars FFG: Visual Development
Our D&D group plays Star Wars FFG so I did a lil exploration on some of our PCs and NPCs! This campaign is over now but I'm still fond of them.

The holoprojector flickered to life, the image of the insidious dark lord glaring at her. "Is this an inconvenient time?" "Not at all. What are your orders, Sir?" A lie. Of course this was highly inconvenient, but Sae knew better than to send him to voicemail. And surely a naked woman was not all that unfamiliar to the man. ~~~

Did a drawing of two of the NPCs from the Star Wars FFG game I'm running: Hammer (the Togruta) and Stalker (the Devaronian). They're boyfriends, Rebels (Stalker's cousin Monte runs their base), and those are absolutely silly codenames they've given themselves and every other member of their squadron.
The party first met them while both groups were trying to rescue people from a high-security Imperial prison known as Glare Peak, and later the party reunited with them when the party needed work and were recommended the Rebel cell that Hammer and Stalker were a part of.
Currently they're exploring Grievous' abandoned (haunted?) base on the moon of Vassek to try and get control of it for its potential resources and any secret info/intel it could still have in it.

Commander Xan Derrycc by jedi-art-trick
Derrycc was my character from my group's version of the DarkStryder Campaign Box Set from West End Game's Star Wars Role Playing Game.
He was originally going to be the Operations Officer, just another member of the Command Crew and regular Navy-type who would run the ship. For those who are familiar with the Campaign, yes he bumped out Darryn Thyte. None of us players ever ran any of the stock characters from the game, so we changed quite a bit of the story. However, as you may know the Captain dies early on, and First Officer Kaiya Adrimetrum becomes Captain, and so Derrycc was promoted to First Officer. Later on, my GM got tired of running the Captain as well as all the NPCs she had to deal with, so soon there was excuses for her not to be there, and then later she was written out and my dude was promoted to Captain.
The basic physical template for his looks started with Sir Kenneth Branagh, from his Hamlet.  When I created Xan I was just getting into Shakespeare, and Kenny's movies helped me become a fan. I always described him as looking like Branagh but with red skin, generally human, kind of a red-skinned Thrawn. Since I had no artist way back when that was the best I could do. In some anachronistic role-playing, my fellow players and GM would describe hims as "satanic" or "devilish" looking.  Apparently, they called him the "Dark Lord of the Bridge".  I wanted him to be humanoid, but also wanted to develop his species.  There is an older version in my gallery as I created the species but am not an artist, it is a work in progress.
Derrycc's race is Eltelaran. I thought of them as a planet that was kicked out of the Old Republic a couple hundred years ago for not keeping a central unified planetary government. They were a planet with still many nations, who temporarily allied to join the Republic, but could not keep it together, so they got the boot. Many of the nations are space-farers thru and thru, given to star sailing and tactics, many of them training from the time of adolescence in the way of naval warfare (much like British midshipmen way way back in the day). I imagined their system or sector somewhat isolated by nebula and asteroids and such, so they had little touch with the rest of the galaxy and no idea the Republic had fallen. Eventually, the Empire saw their martial ability as a threat and rolled in. I figure that they may not have advanced as much technologically given their isolation so it was only their tactical superiority that saved them from complete destruction. Those that did survive limped along to the nearby system of Dak, the Empire's next stop, only to find it in ruins as well, but they joined with the Mon Calamari and helped them convert their cruise ships into warships and train them in tactics.
Some of you may notice the uniform. It is more of what my idea of the Rebel uniform should look like. A little better tailoring than what you saw in Jedi was some slight alterations.
The character himself is a Navy man, born and bred. I was discovering Horatio Hornblower and the Aubrey/Maturin series at the time. Throw in a dash of Captain Picard's stoicism, Captain Kirk's ingenuity, with a little Lt Commander Hunter from Crimson Tide, Bart Mancuso from Hunt for the Red October, and so on...

Imperial Assault Special Agents: Just white would be boring so I decided they were field operatives so they could be a bit grungy, which would would make the white highlights easier. The minis are produced by Fantasy Flight Games and the Imperials come in a nice hard plastic grey with really crisp detail, the Rebel scum are molded in a tan colored plastic.

Some fun doodles from the Star Wars RPG I'm in. Crystaline entities plugged into droid bodies, sexy cyborgs, twilek secretaries, and a murder she wrote Jawa. And detectives.

Gambling with Fate Session 13: The Luckiest Number
It's time for the first Star Wars TTRPG session of 2024! The gang's all on the planet Dathomir, and we're trying to figure out how to hunt the biggest critter we can, capture them and somehow deliver to the Hutts without too much collateral damage.
I'm sure doing this on our 13th session will be fine and we won't get murked by the other mercenaries trying to do that same thing on this planet. Or the local wildlife.
We're gonna be fine.
Come join us on our GM Ebak's channel, linked in the source of this post at around 12pm GMT to find out how we're gonna wranlge this one. Maybe Roslos will start another barfight, who knows.

Any time I don’t know what to draw I can always fall back on player characters from RPGs from several years ago. This is Shim Caalat, a ranger-type guy from a Star Wars Edge of the Empire game. He’s named Shim because Star Wars already had a guy named Wedge. I was doodling the rest of the party and I realized they looked kind of samey, which led to Shim being equipped with “tactical space lederhosen.”

An updated image of my Sith, Kevara. She's kind of a jaded shut in at the current point of our campaign, just an all around grumpykins who wants to be left alone.

I thought roleplaying games were about fantasy and escaping reality, but here we are, trying to solve the question of how we fund our organisation and have enough food & water for our spaceship's crew...

Tonight on Star Wars: EotE
Raf: "Hey Svyle have you seen my pants?"
Svyle: "Yes. I took them."
Raf: "...why...?"
Svyle: "Because uh well whenever we are in a fight and somebody gets right up against me with a gun or like at a wall, you always get up behind them and put yourself in danger to keep me safe. But I can't do that. But I can do that! I can keep you safe!"
Literally all the players OOC: "Svyle holy shit you are so adorable, so wholesome!"
