in a deleted scene, there is a Joja employee named Dobson who never appears in the final game.

Dobson, however looks shockingly like Pierre.

this is why (other than the obvious) Morris has such conflict with Pierre: he looks just like his old coworker.

in short, Morris hates Pierre because he reminds him of Dobson (his dead[???] bff??).
